There was recently an incident where a simmer was threatening that they were going to reupload Sun&Moon content to other file hosting sites other than SFS. Apparently this user was experiencing that thing that SFS does every now and then when traffic peaks and servers are chugging and downloading things takes way longer than it should...which YES that does happen. Most of us shrug, and come back another day.

As you all know, we do not mirror our links. The sets are large and complex most often and it has been a decision to keep to SimFileShare as our only host of files. Is it perfect? No. Neither is any other filesharing site out there. If you've been in the community long enough you remember the great "MediaFryer" incident for instance, and we all roll our eyes at Box these days for their link switching. Are there other sites? Yes, but they don't have free storage, capacity, or are catered to this very now niche hobby. At this time, we will continue to NOT mirror links.

All that said, let it be a reminder: If you are not downloading your Sun&Moon sets from the official Sun&Moon SFS account, or other sanctioned spaces (such as is the case when we point to other creator mods) then consider the files you have downloaded to be OUTDATED and UNSUPPORTED by Sun&Moon. We take no responsibility for files that are not in our control from others who had re-uploaded them in other places or altered them for their own use.

This is how I imagine Xeno being kidnapped goes lmao (I haven't read the manga so I'm an anime only!)
