A garbled, growly giggle comes from her and she gives a thumbs up, and sticks out her glossa. She was able to keep herself less flustered looking in this mode anyways, easier to not say something silly if you can only growl and purr!

I love how in the Stitch event, Stitch TALKS. In sound! Probably TWST used voice files from the Lilo & Stitch series, and it's because Stitch has simple voice lines, but it's still cool to see someone talking in sound in the event!

Yeah, I definitely wasn’t expecting the Stitch voiced lines but they’re a nice, cute touch! He growls, grunts, and laughs but also says, “Stitch good”, and “ohana”.

fhksv;16?fFsgv Kind of expected him to lock eyes with his fellow gremlin Grim and then immediately spiral into chaos… Like, Stitch starts biting people and curls up into a ball to smack into Grim 💀 Then this guy has the audacity to climb onto bigger gremlins Lilia and Floyd’s shoulders (which is how they can appear if you roll their respective SSRs) and look all innocent… The range of expressions Stitch can make in his in-game models is impressive!! They really capture him well.

Side note: Damn, the TWST team really popped off with all these new assets 🥺 I expected the beach in the book to be picturesque, but the bookshelf in the Archives is also super aesthetically pleasing!

Also, also: GANTU LOOKS SO BiG AND GOOFy 🤪 Love that we can see his teefs when he talks/points and shouts at them to hand over 626 or get mcfucking lasered Ortho-approved method of retrieval, I’m sure… This man is NOT above killing high school kids to get their talking dog/j)

CW for death and burial

Grave dirt comes up in a few modern vampire interpretations, seemingly originating from Bram Stoker’s Dracula, though there are older myths taking the stance that demons (which were then indistinct from vampires) are night creatures, or that the waking dead would return to their grave and slumber in daylight hours.

It has been so long since I’ve been buried. Folklore in our tradition dictates the dead be returned to the earth, leaving the undead to claw their way back to the land of the living. Boxes and depth are preventatives, unneeded when the body isn’t expected to remain in its place. I have spent cumulative weeks in the ground, made a home for myself in the dirt.

I’ve considered taking a trip out to the forest, reacquainting myself with a grave of my own. Not truly my grave, that one is some ways away and nigh unreachable from where I reside these days. I could get there without much trouble. Getting back is another thing. Skin and clothes stained black brown, cold as death, strength long drained into the soil. It wouldn’t be the same. Death for the undying follows a procedure, somebody to know if you fail to rise again.

That’s tempting in itself. A final grave. It’s never been that easy, but I can hope that this time it will. Gather the materials and abandon my faith, wishing whatever binds me here abandons me back. There’s a last time for everything.

I shouldn’t. I have reasons to stay. The call of the dirt is alluring nonetheless.

I have spend the past few days dying because of severe acute tooth pain. Legitimately convinced that this shit would be an extremely effective easy torture method, I'd rather break a bone over this shit ngl. That said what type of whump senerios do you think could come out with teeth as the focus?

Teef!! TEEF!!!!

We have the classic, the holy grail, of Whumper using pliers to pull out Whumpee's teeth for a myriad of reasons. Talking back? Biting? Making room for tubes to be shoved down their throat? The possibilities are truly endless, and of course, bonus points if the pliers are rusty <3

Whumpee losing a tooth from some kind of mouth trauma (a punch, a boot to the face, etc) is one thing. But what if that tooth only cracked? What if it chipped? Not only are they going to have to deal with the pain of an exposed nerve and jagged edge constantly being touched by their tongue, but literally anything is going to aggravate it. Food and water included. Yikes.

I've mentioned it before in my "gross and messy" whump post, but just general neglect would be enough of a catalyst for tooth pain. Months without brushing and constant vomiting can lead to rot and decay, which can lead to a further infection of the entire mouth. Whumpee practically feeling certain teeth disintegrate, spitting out blood and pus until finally they can pull out a blackened dead tooth from their inflamed gum for relief.

Got a vampire Whumpee? Why don't you just file those pointy chompers down, just in case :)

After Whumpee is rescued (or if...) and they finally get the care they need, they'll have to make peace with the fact their mouth is full of gaps that would cost a fortune in dental work to repair. And maybe they do and get the crowns or dentures they need. And maybe they don't. The one constant being they have to live with being self conscious over an imperfect smile. Not that they have much to smile about anymore to begin with.

This is purely aesthetic but I love the idea of a Whumper purposely replacing their own canine teeth with gold incisors to look extra menacing when they grin. Do as you will with that.

More aesthetic style, less scenario-based but:

Whumper with a mouth full of fangs that love to dig into Whumpee's skin

Teeth indentations all over Whumpee's body

Whumpee snarling with their teeth stained red from the blood pooling in their mouth

Spitting a tooth out, unperturbed by the hit

Open mouth gags being used on Whumpee that show their teeth on full display

Feral/Traumatized/Rescued Whumpee absolutely using biting as a defense on anyone that comes near them, including Caretaker

Whumpee with arms and hands full of scarred over bitemarks from where they've had to chomp down on their own skin to muffle their cries

I've just noticed Flanksteak has fuckin shark teeth and. Two options here

Filed them down himself (the likelier option probably on brand for the bloodshots, maybe it could be a bandit culture thing to have the sharpest teef in a similar vein to wh40k orks?)

Genetic mutation of some kind (less likely, poses a lot of questions about the xenohumans of borderlands, more than i already have in fact, maybe fuel for my "there are very little if any baseliners left in borderlands" headcanon?)

ohh wait thats a good idea. the sharp points are running trend for the bloodshots, so it makes sense that itd extend to their teeth.

the other clans have their own metal edges, but these spikes are individual to the bloodshots. sawtooths are longer, slabs are more rounded, and the fleshrippers specifically have nails through scrapped car tires. (even though they're pirates?) the mutation angle is also really interesting though. and it seems possible, especially with the shape of his mouth being so distinct. his teeth are massive compared to his other concept art. a good chunk of the bloodshots in my rewrite are formerly baron flynts crew, including flanksteak, which means he could have been in proximity to BL1s vault key when it was unearthed. as a result he became mutated like the rest of sledges men. or he was just been born with it. ik that being close to eridian nonsense isnt necessary, i just like to make that connection because i am just unfortunately. so BL1 brained. it could even be a mix of both ideas. the boss has jagged, sharp teeth and that becomes a status symbol for others to follow. who knows.

i posted that sharp/dull teeth categorization tier list thing earlier but something that went unmentioned is that i think saw has the sharpest teeth of the whole cast. pin needle and naily are close but saw’s teef are like razor blades
