@thatbennybee when i tell you i was holding my breath during this chapter like omg😭😭the tears keep pouring and pouring and man… i relate to john dory an unhealthy lot and his caracterisation in this fic feels point on and i really hope its get better for him down the line.

im 40 years late to the party

in another bit of news: last night my dad gifted me his old tablet to use for my art so naturally I had to test it out with a quick John Dory ✨

notes:

- it's definitely going to take a bit to get used to a much bigger screen—everything feels so cumbersome and like I can't control my lines at all, definitely the most stressful part of the process 😬. As a result this drawing turned out kinda wonky and disproportionate but I'm hoping this will improve with practice.

- i'm also going to have to transfer a bunch of ibis paint files from my phone to the tablet but luckily I figured out how psd files work 👍

- this thing has clip studio and infinite painter pre-installed but I'm going to stick to ibis paint because it's just what i'm used to okay

- it's really hard to type on this thing

Now moving on from devil rabbits to sea creatures 🐇➡️🧜🏻‍♀️🐙

In this version, Human Rabbit has just discovered the existence of Krakens, and Chelsea is about to get humbled for her selfish and manipulative behavior, which I hope leads to her having a redemption arc and becoming Ruby’s friend as she tries to break free from her mother Nerissa’s control. I was supposed to show Chelsea, who has now donned a humble look, her hair tied as she works at a local café owned by Rabbit.

Rabbit just discovering emojis for the first time. Meanwhile, Chelsea starts having a change of heart as she longingly reflects on whether she should steal the trident or return it to its rightful place. Sorry if her tail's cropped. Oh look! There's BOB (or Plasma?).

A series of random doodles featuring Dory, Bubble, Ruby and her newfound friend Bloodstrike (like y'know, one of Rabbit's minions that just got eaten at the end of the DMC Netflix anime?) at the pool resort.

Also, there's Rabbit who demands that human/sapiens and demons don't mix into the pool 'til our girl Irma Lair shuts him up. Oh, hi Osmosis Jon -- Wait, I mean Wade (the water guy on the left)!

✨ With the help & inspiration from @deathanilerhellsking , old mate Brucey has been graced as a monster in the same world with Mike and Sulley & with the original addition of Ryan and Jonah ! ✨

Beast Bruce has the same laidback, roughhouse charm and jokester personality as his Great white counterpart part in down under 🇦🇺✨

- His former occupation was scarer at MI, but ultimately, he and his mate’s, Chum and Anchor, found their home away from home at Fear Co where a proud Johnny saw right at Bruce’s mammoth contribution to the company!

Bruce does have old acquaintances at MI and now and then pays a visit to his old stomping grounds, while also giving some sarcastic scolds to the cooperations use of ‘laugh’ power. 🃏

Bruce catches on about Pete’s particular bond with a HUMAN child, and with fresh knowledge of this particular boy’s love for monsters, Bruce doesn’t pass the opportunity to - ‘introduce’ himself to the young morsel- I mean, lad. 😅
