Decided to wip up another Etta drawing, this time in her awakened form just like her daddy vladdy. Given her normal form (both as an adult and as a child) lean more towards Divinity's style, being sleek and tidy, I really wanted to make her ghostly awakened form more wild and creepy looking, unleashing a new side to her. Though you can see a hint of her chronian side in her, including the eye on her chest looking like a clock.

Despite how unruly this form is, she still leans towards a chaotic nature rather than evil, even if this form makes her a little more unhinged…..

a/n: So I wrote chapters 1-3 in 2018 and both the fic and the show broke me and I couldn't figure out how to finish the damn thing. Five years later, all my hang ups are gone, and, ::bangs the roof of this car::, this is a whole story ready to fucking go. HAVE SOME LUTHOR NONSENSE, MY FRIENDS. I love how dark this fic was and how dark this fic gets and it's still just this sunny little romance.

Bunty places her phone on the coffee table and presses the speaker button.

"Go ahead, darling," she says.

“Vinnie and I have something very important to share with you,” says Georgina. “Can you hear me clearly?”

“There is a teensy-weensy echo, now that you mention it,” says Bunty. “Where are you?”

“Isla Paradiso,” says Georgina.

“Isla Paradiso?” repeats Bunty. “What on earth- is this some kind of joke, Georgina?”  

Sophie gives an uneasy giggle and smooths her skirt over her knees.

“It’s not a joke, Mother,” says Georgina. “We flew out here first thing yesterday morning. Or should I say…we eloped.”

Sophie gasps.

“This isn’t funny, Georgina,” says Bunty, and this time her voice is several octaves higher.

“It’s not meant to be funny, Mother. Vinnie and I have eloped. We got married a few hours ago. By a celebrant at the resort we’re staying at. I’m officially Mrs. Rourke! Isn’t it wonderful?”

Bunty’s face has taken on a waxy appearance. Her pink lipsticked mouth falls open and her hand flies to her chest.

“Why?” she croaks. “Why would you do this to me, Georgina?”

“We did nothing to you, Mother!” says Georgina. “You just don’t get it, do you? This isn’t about you. God. Sophie, I’m sorry for misleading you, but the truth is Vinnie and I never wanted a huge wedding. We only ever wanted to get married. And now we are, and we couldn’t be happier.”

“Well, congratulations!” says Sophie, with another weak giggle. “Was anyone else in on the secret?”

“Only our friend Melinda,” says Georgina. “And we knew we could trust her not to tell anybody!”

Bunty’s hands are now covering her face. From behind them escapes a strangled sob.

5 years later for Steve and his ballerina - did they get everything they wanted?

He resisted the urge to stand from where he had been sitting, keeping himself complacent and still. It was with admiration and adoration that he watched his oldest boy, his perfect baby boy, army crawling across the floor to reach your baby girl’s perch.

Steve was watching with absolutely pride swelling in his chest as your son, Steve’s mini-me, stopped on the floor and stared up at your daughter. He was fresh from outside, grass stains on his jeans and his shirt rumpled and dirty, though he was happy.

“Papà,” your son whispered quietly, dropping a teddy bear into your daughters lap, “mama said we’re going on a trip.”

“A trip,” Steve spoke softly, as if he hadn’t just beaten a man half to death an hour earlier, “we are going on a trip, my boy.”

“Mama’s been packing, papà.” Your son passed your daughter a stuffed rabbit before he sat up and sat cross legged. “Where are we going? Mama said it was a surprise?”

Steve had finally pushed himself to stand, tossing his phone behind him ti approach his son. He crouched down and rest a hand upon his back, smoothing his shirt as he watched his kids with utter devotion. All he had done was for his family, for the betterment of your lives and there was a clear divide between what his kids saw and what Steve did.

“I think we’re gonna go visit a beach.” Steve spoke softly to his kids, nothing but tenderness and love. “And enjoy the sun.”

“I like the beach papà” your son turned into Steve, hugging him tightly. “Can we build big sandcastles?”

“Of course, bubba.” Steve drew his hand away from his son’s back before he stood and picked up his daughter, setting her on his hip. “Do you want to help mama pack?”

“I can help!” Your son bounced to his feet, tugging on Steve’s shirt to gain his attention. “I’ll go help daddy! I’ll go help mama.”

“Thank you, bubs. You go help mama and then we’ll play with your toys.” Steve bent and kissed the top of his sons head, watching him run from the room and then he stroked his daughters cheek.

“Five years later and we’re a perfectly happy family.”

I have seen almost no Legion fan on here talking about the fact that Blue Beetle #7 featured guest appearances from the Five Years Later Legion, specifically Kent Shakespeare, Laurel Gand, Celeste Rockfish, and Devlin O'Ryan fighting against B.I.O.N.

Was everyone just underwhelmed with it or did no one know? Because this is the first time we've seen a different Legion besides the Retroboot and the Hell Legion-I MEAN the Bendisboot appear in a new issue.

I just saw the news that Keith Giffen died. He was one of my favorite writers/artists of all time, mostly for his Legion of Super-Heroes work in the Five Years Later/Five Year Gap series. I met him at the 2013 Baltimore ComicCon where he had a short line for autographs, so I asked him to sign the first 12 issues of this Legion run along with my Great Darkness issues and some Justice League issues. We talked a lot about what he had planned for the FYL run and how DC ruined it; I praised my favorite storyline, “The Terra Mosaic” which he accepted readily. We were jiving well when I made the mistake of saying I liked this issue as he was signing it. He stopped and looked at me, grumpily retorting “You liked THAT?!?” I realized at that moment, he had little to nothing to do with that issue aside from the cover and a framing sequence. He finished signing the books, but it was clear his opinion of my taste was irrevocably ruined. Regardless of my sin of poor taste, I still treasure that interaction and all of the comics of his I’ve read throughout the years. He was a magnificent plotter and artist, and I’m disappointed I won’t have another chance to meet him.

Decided to play around with an older design for Etta, and now I have to admit I am getting attached to a joke character But here be Eternity as an adult, getting some more wacky biology under the dress, like needle feet lol. As she grows, her body gets twisted looking similar to Divinity, though in a more bone sharp way. I'll probably do a image to show off her face under the mask eventually. Despite being raised by two villains, I like the idea she grows to be a more neutral, yet very chaotic force in time and space. People can't tell if she has a goal in mind, or doing anything that makes her laugh, maybe both. Either way, she's a very scary individual to encounter, but still retains a lot of her charm and goofiness from childhood.

MY FAVORITE THINGS OF 2023 🎆

So yeah.

Jujutsu Kaisen S2 is my favorite anime of the year. It gave me SatoSugu; my new fave BL yaoi OTP. Which in turn got my side blog; Queen Endless, going on here and has shown me more of a boom on here than anything before.

The Ahsoka Series gave us our Anakin Ahsoka reunion with ep 4 and 5 and God Ep 5 gave me everything I wanged and more and yeah Ezra, Thrawn, and much more showed up but TCW keeps on coming back to feed me good.

Spider-Man 2 PS5 gave me Bully Lowenthal, live action kid Ben 10 all grown up as Harry, Venom madness, and was an overall rollercoaster.

Dtoons Team Teen Cartoon Heroes Unite gave me Ben, Bloom, and Yugi all in the same episode/screenshot and yeah a congregation of cartoon and anime characters galore. Imma try to draw some inspired fanart for it soon. Hopefully.

Anigomi, making character audio x listerner content on YouTube, covering guys and gals from anime and etc. My favorite VA of theirs is Han who voices Gojo, Hawks, Dazai, Tamaki and probably more. They do commissions, they're EXPENSIVE, but their content is great and they have Patreon for the MATURE stuff so there.

Five Years Later by The Ink Tank, the Ben 10 Danny Phantom crossover webcomic turned motion comic/dub with professional VAs and we're getting the next 3 episodes coming right around the corner and it's ALL SO GOOD!

Scream 6. My favorite horror series. Which makes me sad cause Scream 7 ain't happening cause our two lead girls were fired/quit along with the director of the 6 cause of stupid BS. So reboot? It just won't be the same.

Once Upon A Studio, a homage to the House of Mouse in my opinion. The Disney crossover of all time that was wholesome and funny tied up in a bow.

The Pink Popcast is hilarious. Benji and Rizzo are great commenters/people you can vibe with well. For first time reactions to watching them react to my fave stuff is all around entertaining. Especially when they talk about musicals, Scream and Disney.
