It’s funny how even younger folk on here tend to overwhelmingly prefer the look of 90s internet- and even 2000s internet too, when it was more expressive. Like Windows 98 has become memetic levels of iconic, and windows 7 doesn’t look bad either. Windows XP is good too. Also frutiger aero is popular with younger people too.

Yet every big name corporation insists on flat design, minimalism, and looking more like a phone because that’s what investors and normies want.

My intention was not to punish anybody – Bullgod after Shatta Wale’s apology

Artiste manager and entertainment pundit, Bullgod has explained why he sued Dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale after the latter had accused him of having a hand in Fennec Okyere’s death, a former artiste manager to Kwaw Kese.Bullgod noted that he only sued to clear his name given the complexity of the crime about Fennec’s death and not to hurt anybody involved in the matter.He said his family was affected by Shatta Wale’s claim and so he took the legal action with the purpose to prove that the artiste’s allegations were false.

”This is something that I have gone through a lot over. Right now, it is a cold case. Nobody has been arrested over it. It’s unresolved. So, for you to come and say that, it’s sad. My family went through a lot, especially my wife and kids. It wasn’t easy. So, I had to take him on to prove that what he said was false,” he stated in an interview on UTV’s United Showbiz, May 3.“My intention was not to punish anybody; I just wanted to clear my name. So, when everyone was pleading with me to forgive him and drop the matter, I talked with my wife, and she left the final decision to me,” he added.

In November 2022, Shatta Wale publicly accused Bullgodof being involved in the murder of Fennec Okyere, the late manager of Kwaw Kese.

Following this, Bullgod’s legal team filed a defamation lawsuit at the Accra High Court, arguing that Shatta Wale’s statements were not only damaging but also highly inappropriate, given that the case was still under investigation.Seeking legal redress, Bullgod requested a court declaration that Shatta Wale’s remarks were defamatory and malicious.“So, I agreed to drop the case, and we went to court to remove the case. That was in 2023. I had initially sued him for GH¢1 million, but we agreed for him to render an apology and pay my legal fees. We told the court that, and it was granted provided that all ends were met,” he shared.

However, according to Bullgod, Shatta Wale failed to keep his end of the agreement which caused his lawyers to follow up on the case.“Typical of him, he didn’t fulfil his end of the bargain. We left it at that. It was when my new lawyer went through my cases that he decided to follow up on the judgement.

“So, my lawyers went back to court to enforce the judgement. Then he saw that it wouldn’t go well for him. He got in touch with my lawyers to have a sit-down. I was like, there’s nothing to talk about; he knows what to do. So, the apology came. And that’s okay for me,” he said.
