Dandelion - finally hearing the other person laugh after a period of hardship

A small trip was all it took for your arm to land itself in a cast. Let's back up a little shall we?

You were on your way to visit Kanata at his house in the slums and there were a bunch of stairs as there usually were. You had almost reached his place when Kanata had just exited from his house and you were just so excited to see him you might've just ran your way to him. Unfortunately for you, you had forgotten that you were on top of a flight of stairs and tripped when you were dashing your way towards him.

Kanata was surprised when you called out his name but even more so when you were falling down the stairs. He darted from his place trying to catch you but unfortunately he didn't make it in time hence why your arm is now stuck in a cast.

It's been a few weeks since that happened. Were you embarrassed? Yeah sure maybe a bit. But most of all you were frustrated because the hand that you broke was your dominant hand. It rendered you useless to do most daily things.

When you came to hang out with the twins they could tell that you were gloomy. You had been like this ever since your trip down the stairs. Kanata was worried about you. You hadn't been smiling all that much nor have you cracked any of your corny jokes around him anymore. He might not show it much but it frustrated him to no end that he couldn't do anything to help you.

“Kanata you're frowning again.” Nayuta nudged his brother out of his thoughts.

“No I'm not.” Kanata denied lying even though it was evident on his face.

“If you're that worried you should do something.”

“Like what? Most of the things I've tried all they've done is smile politely at Nayuta.” Kanata sighed.

“I don't know but that flower field near the outskirts of the city looks good.” Nayuta casually mentioned, trying to give a hint to his brother who's quite hopeless sometimes.

Kanata's eyes widened in realisation at what his brother was hinting at. You absolutely adore flowers so bringing you to that flower field might just do the trick. He had gone there before so he knew that it was what you needed.

Needless to say you were weirded out when Kanata uncharacteristically brought you to the outskirts of the city one day. You had come to visit him after you ran some errands and he quite literally dragged you out of his house without saying anything. Even Nayuta seemed a bit surprised at that but he had a knowing grin on his face when you guys left.

“Close your eyes.” Kanata told you when you were nearing the outskirts of the city.

You had complied not asking too much of him about his suspicious behaviour. He held your hands and you just followed him wherever he was leading you.

You could feel the change in the air. There was a soft gentle breeze and the air felt a bit fresher. The ground you were stepping on became softer as you could tell that you were no longer walking on asphalt but on soil. The birds were chirping and indeed the air smelt a bit more aromatic.

When Kanata told you to open your eyes you did and you weren't ready for the sight that stood in front of you. You were surrounded by dandelions. A field full of yellow flowers and some matured ones here and there. To see that you were in awe was an understatement. You definitely won't forget this anytime soon.

Kanata had been tense, gauging your reaction from the begging, when he saw you smile he relaxed a bit as he pulled you deeper into the field.

You took a dandelion in your finger, you blew on it making a wish like they always would on tv. You plucked another one and brought it to Kanata’s face.

“Here blow on it and make a wish, Kanata”. You told him holding it expectantly in front of his face.

“Hah? Isn't that a bit childish?” Kanata exclaimed.

“Awww come on. Just this once?” You pleaded with him.

“Fine….” Kanata begrudgingly took it from you. He supposed he could entertain your antics since he did bring you here to cheer you up.

He did as you told, made a wish and blew on it. Funny thing was that the tiny fruits of the dandelion didn't go in the direction he blew it in and instead went into his face due to a sudden breeze. It went up into his nose and he sneezed quite loudly, might I say.

You couldn't help yourself and laugh at his predicament. Kanata was about to berate you but he stopped himself when he saw your face and he heard you laugh. His features softened as he relaxed and smiled softly at you while you were still laughing like a madman. To say the least that your laughter was music to his ears after a long time of being absent.

i was never one for plushies or stuffed animals, but ive had a few! two in particular:

i have no idea. w the economy nowadays i dont dream of having a job at all LOL

my dream job is to find something that wont overwork me and still keep me afloat. i wanna settle for something that can help me live the life i want to live

He couldn't accept it at first. Well of course he couldn't. He really thought you like him as well but seems like you just view him as a friend.

He'll avoid you. He couldn't see your face without thinking about the rejection. He needs some time from you.

Vivid bad squad member definitely noticed that he's been down for some time so they take him to a cafe to cheer him up and clear his mind about it.

It went well. He could see your face after a few days without a heavy burden in his heart.

If you got into a relationship with someone else, well he'll congratulate you even though he want to be that person.

In conclusion, he'll took some time to calming down after the rejection.

🌻anenome: how would they react if their s/o is sick?

Panic but I think he'll know what to do.

Wrapping you in comfy blankets, feeding you warm soup, feeding (forcing) you some medicine.

He'll scold you for being too reckless and got sick. Don't worry he don't mean it. He's just worried about you.

Somehow sad he couldn't cuddle and kiss you but wouldn't admit it. He resist your takes on making him cuddle or even kiss you.

Don't worry once you got better, he'll shower you with affection.

Compliment him would get him to blush. He's not used to compliment so he couldn't react much when you first praise his passion in music. Covering his face his hand to hide his blushing face but you could still see how pink his ears are

Currently, I would say that I'm learning about the Armorstand mod in Minecraft. It's so cool and it's my first time actually using and not just watch others to do so. Let me know if you wanna see my creations ;)

What’s something (mundane) you really want to experience in life?

I really wanna go on a proper camping trip in summer. Sleeping in tents, biiig fire, late nights... People around me have done it numerous times but I never had the chance

Cactus-There's alot I'm currently learning. Right now at school I'm in an Esoteric Science course which is really interesting but half the time I'm reading it going "what the actual fuck does this mean?" (lol). I'm also learning chalkboard drawing which is so much fun!! We did a cow last week and I will admit it was a serious pain in the ass, but I'm glad I did it (lol).

violet— do you like to cook or bake? if so, what is it that you like to make?

Bringing out the big questions right away (and making me hide in shame!). I like to cook, but usually don't have time/am tired to do so. Plus I don't have access to a proper, big kitchen space (it is a tiny kitchen and it is very hard to make something elaborate, like dough which requires a big working area). I wish I could cook and bake more. I love making pasta sauces and have a few favourites. I love making pierogi (polish dumplings), but again, due lack of space, I don't make it often. Also polish chicken soup and tomato soup are a favourite to make. I do pancakes every Sunday and playing around with different recipes and combos for that.

primrose— how long does it take for you to get ready for the day what does your routine usually consist of?

My alarm is set for 5.46 am and I take until 6 to wash my face/teeth etc and let the despair and tragedy of having to be up at that time sink in. Then I do 20 to 30 minutes of yoga, extend my duo streak, get dressed and leave for work. Obviously, that does not apply to the blessed days off when I get to sleep in and wake up naturally.

cosmos— what's the best compliment you've ever received? who was it from?

I am racking my brain about this one and genuinely can't pin point one. I was once told that I am very artistic and have a great sense of visual aesthetic which means I probably do that for a living. Sadly, I do not, but I loved the assumption. Also, when I was leaving my last job, one girl said she will miss seeing me around every day because my outfits always brighten up her day, especially my Halloween themed outfits.

poppy— out of the four seasons, which season of the year is your favorite and why?

Ok I want to say that obviously autumn for the all known reasons, but summer is up there with autumn. Maybe because I am stuck in a country that has no summer, but contrary to popular belief, I love heat and sun. I am like a little lizard, I could lie on a rock and soak in the sun all day. Summer evenings are the most beautiful too, feels with the sense of joy and nostalgia, all at once. Autumn on the other hand has colours, Halloween, and the best mood. Also, best drinks. So both, both are good!

🌺Hydrangea?: Proudest moment? I have a few. Creating my tabletop game is one. Directing, producing, writing, and acting in my own play is another. Lately though, it was quitting a job because of a dear friend’s mistreatment.

🌼Daffodil?: What color suits me best? I’d say black, but that’s pretty stereotypical for someone on tumblr, isn’t it? It’s what I feel most confident in, but I’m finding I like brown more and more these days- my leather jacket definitely helps with that lol

heather - what’s your favourite musical? Ooh this is a good question! The answer used to be Fiddler on the Roof (it was the first musical I remember seeing live and it was such a magical experience even if it was community theater). Rose:

My current crush is my partner he's dark skinned, strong but not in the unhealthy dehydrated body builder way. Celebrity crush though is tall, with chin length curly hair and a defined nose.

Daisy:

My best childhood memory is taking these leftover wood boards and carpet and tools from my aunt and uncle into the woods with all of my siblings and cousins and building a base structure for a club house and soaking branches in a creek to weave together a rooftop and door. It wasn't the most secure and we had to be careful of coyotes so we couldn't stay there too late but it was the most fun I've ever had.

Daffodil (my favorite flower 💛):

I feel like darker greens suit me best and if we want to go for metallics I actually really like yellow gold it makes me look quite pretty and both bring out a lot of subtle colors in my eyes.

Hydrangea :

My proudest moment was being able to see how much I'd healed myself from the push to always do more and more and never stop being productive it was such a simple moment too but there were dishes that needed done but I'd already done so much deep cleaning around the house that day so I just didn't do them, I made coffee, sat down, and watched the birds outside and I didn't feel bad about it at all. (I did finish the dishes later but still it didn't weigh on me in the moment.)

Usually I start to fidget with my hoodie's sleeves or my attention starts to slip away and I get very quiet when I'm in the "negative" moods.... but if I'm happy, my fidgeting stops and I get very talkative
