Twilight Sparkle would totally be an Arch Linux poweruser.

Rainbow Dash would probably use a decked-out Windows PC for gaming, but fall shitty tech trends without question (AI art, NFTs, etc)

(Flim and Flam would be the ones pushing the AI art and Web3 shit)

Rarity would probably be snobbish and use a Macbook, before either raging like a beast or sobbing whenever it randomly breaks.

Fluttershy would be likely be way too scared to even use a computer, until her friends pressure her into getting a cheap Chromebook so she could at least get online. Even then, she would mostly use sites like Facebook to post about the most mundane shit imaginable, while likely unaware what exactly a "meme" is.

Pinkie Pie would be extremely reckless and use an outdated version of Windows without being aware, while constantly infecting her PC with viruses and crapware. In addition, she would probably get frequently contacted by tech support scammers, think they're actually from tech support, but annoy them too much with her Pinkie Pie antics for them to really do anything.

Applejack would be total luddite who only upgrades Windows very reluctantly. She doesn't even like to use her computer that much, but when she does, she just wants it to "get shit done" without having to deal with annoying gimmicks.

Twilight Sparkle once smoked weed during her equivalent of college and to this day is terrified that Celestia will find out (Celestia already knows)

Twilight has very little knowledge of memes and her friends frequently have to explain new slang to her before she causes political scandals (“no Twilight ‘kys’ does not mean ‘keep yourself safe’”)

Much like a real horse, Twilight often falls asleep standing up during her late-night stress & study sessions. Spike has had to wake her up and tell her to go to bed numerous times

Twilight was that kid who reminded her teachers there was homework when they forgot. Her classmates didn’t really like her for that

Her love life is very…active lol, including when she’s in a stable and committed relationship (like active within that relationship not as a serial cheater). She loves learning new techniques if you catch my drift

Fluttershy is surprisingly confident when she’s attracted to someone, and when she’s in a committed relationship she has a lot of fun facts about animal mating patterns to share with them for…no particular reason

Unlike Twilight, Flutters is surprisingly well-versed in memes because she’s learned a lot from Discord (and also Treehugger). She doesn’t really understand the humor in all of them but she’s aware of them

(In a universe where FlutterCord is canon) She had to absolutely fight for her life in the Mane 6 meetups when she told her friends she was dating/crushing on him

Daring Do eventually loses popularity, partly because so many of her books involve actual artifact theft and social attitudes have changed, and partly because ponies just moved on to newer book series. Rainbow Dash still remains her biggest die-hard fan even when she looks pathetic doing so

Rainbow Dash acts like a big baby every time Tank hibernates for the rest of her life (he outlives her) but after the first few years it’s kind of silly

This isn’t an idea I came up with but I really like all the jokes about RD writing really bad fanfiction, and it’s a headcanon I subscribe to

(Mostly a joke because I do ship her with mares outside of my next gens) Rainbow Dash is straight but has a lot of mares asking her out because of her mane, and it’s hard to get stallions because they also think she’s gay. She also has a hard time relating to her friends who all like mares

RD doesn’t take good care of her hooves because she flies all the time and forgets to trim them due to not walking very much. Because of this, they look funky and overgrown and her friends kind of clown on her for it

When she’s older, Rainbow Dash wrecks some of her joints trying to do stunts that she did when she was younger (like carrying her “little” sister). She has the worst midlife crisis out of all her friends

When Rarity was a filly, she used to create the most elaborate and dramatic plotlines with her dolls that easily measured up to any soap opera, with betrayals, love triangles, custody battles, the whole works

She enjoys listening to soul-crushingly sad music (like Marina’s discography) during her ice cream-crying sessions, in the process roleplaying a life much more dysfunctional than she has because it helps her cope with her actual problems. Also listens to that music in a good mood if she needs to be inspired for a certain fashion piece

She overstocks her supplies to a sometimes comical extent, like she has 400 refills for her bedazzler machine. How does she have room for all that stuff? A lady never reveals her secrets, darling✨

Applejack loves singing country songs like “Thank God I’m A Country Colt” and “International Harvester” at the top of her lungs, they literally never fail to get her hyped up

(In a human context, ignoring Equestria Girls) it took her awhile to learn that Apple Bloom had TikTok and other social media accounts because she only uses Facebook on her clunky home computer

AJ is incapable of enjoying any kind of sitcom because she’s always poking holes in the plot. Her least favorite storylines are the “caught in a lie” and general miscommunication tropes

She also can’t watch well-written, dramatic tv shows either if any of the characters behave dishonestly (such as Breaking Bad)

Pinkie and Cheese once performed “Amish Paradise” for her parents and sisters (even in universes where they aren’t a couple). Reactions were VERY mixed

Also some of my “how they explain the birds and the bees to their kids” headcanons for my next gens are pretty funny

Fluttershy is really good at explaining the whole life cycle (including reproduction and death) because taking care of so many animals means she’s seen it all. Nothing squicks her out anymore. She explains things matter-of-factly but gently as she guides her little ones through various examples involving her animals.

Twilight would do a good job and be comfortable with it but she would also go overboard, giving a college-level lecture about the full reproductive process when her 10 year old daughter only wanted to know what going into heat meant. Twi’s partner calls Fluttershy in to help for the kid’s sake.

Rarity buys her daughter the pony equivalent of those Care & Keeping of You books (and her son gets the male equivalent of those books). She uses those books to bond with her kids over “becoming a mare/stallion.”

Applejack is very overprotective of Apple Bloom and probably procrastinated on giving her “the talk” only to find out that AB already learned from the other CMC (especially Scoot “left completely unsupervised 24/7” aloo /hj). A similar deal would probably happen with her own kids as well unless her partner is better about it. Even though, years before, Granny Smith was very straight with AJ like “ya wanna know how our new batch of chicks was made?”

Pinkie isn’t uncomfortable with the talk at all, except her explanation gets so convoluted and off topic that her kids go off to ask someone else.

Obscure stories from my childhood/teen years

1. Once when I was like three years old and laying in bed, I watched a black, slimy creature with red eyes climb out of my floorboards and look me in the eyes while grinning before disappearing. This memory has haunted me for years and I’m sure it was just a dream, but if it wasn’t...what the fuck

2. When I took tap-dancing lessons, a screw came loose in my tap shoe and scraped the floor by mistake. Upon noticing it, my dance instructor began screaming and crying and hyperventilating, and she went to get her husband who then started screaming at me because the floors were apparently very expensive (I was six so why he thought I would understand this is beyond me). Later, one of my friends in middle school had the same dance instructor, but when I told him this story I don’t think he believed me.

3. At that same dance program, I knew a girl who was really rude to everyone except me, but she only liked me because I brought plastic dragons to our class and she really liked dragons. I looked her up on Facebook awhile ago and she’s apparently a physic medium now. I have no idea what to do with this information

4. My nickname in eighth grade and all throughout high school was Pony, because I drew My Little Pony characters all over my notebooks. I also did a video project for my Global History class wherein I didn’t want to film my own face so instead I used my Fluttershy doll to explain the history of Libya. Thinking about this makes me cringe so hard every muscle in my body clenches

5. In high school, I role played as a character from Homestuck to impress some girls I was friends with. The kicker: I have never read Homestuck

6. I found a book of magic spells when I was 15, and the first thing I did was curse one of my teachers. I don’t think it worked, but he did get a broken rib several weeks later in an ice skating incident. However, a week after his accident, I got the worst stomach flu I have ever had. Karma is real

7. I quoted Doug Walker (the Nostalgia Critic) in an essay I wrote for my sophomore English class...and I am ashamed. To be fair, though, I don’t think my teacher even read it because she gave me a 95 anyway.

8. In fifth grade, I drew the PowerPuff Girls violently attacking my teacher because she made me mad one day. In case you can’t tell my relationships with my teachers were troubled

9. I wrote a series of very terrible Invader Zim fan comics in 7th grade. The plot was incomprehensible, but it was full of memes and a surprising amount of fan made lore. I also unapologetically stole jokes from other comics. I still have all of these comics but I am in decisive over ever sharing them with anyone because GOD they are bad

10. At ten years old, I opened up a word document and typed my first fanfiction. It was a PowerPuff Girls fanfic and it wasn’t good, but my mom was so impressed that on Thanksgiving, she printed it out and had all of my family members take turns reading it. Thinking about this sort of makes me cringe but at the time I felt like the coolest bitch on the block

Introducing

Hello, howtea!. My name is Afif Alfatih Wibisono (21 y.o.). I am from Surabaya, East Java, Indonesia. I wanna share about how the first time I interested with colorful ponies show until I made an own character that called OC or (Original Character) and I given name “ALPHA TEA”.

Actually I had known the colorful ponies show since 2013 from a video that I suddenly found on You Tube. Initially I just looked for a song cover of “The Offspring – You’re Gonna Go Far, Kid”, but from many results on You Tube, there was made me interested with a picture of thumbnail that showed a blue-rainbow character. I had begun curious by clicked it without looked at the credit title and at the moment, my first reaction was amazed with the graphic that showed in “flat design” and not too complex in coloration or we known that as 2D and it was reminded me to “Happy Tree Friends” but of course, the genre is too far and so different.

Uniquely, at the moment I “didn’t” looked at credit title of the video and I “didn’t” knew whether it was?. Eventually, from that happened I just knew the blue-rainbow character that named “Rainbow Dash” and after that I was decided to re-watch the video and I had slowly knew the show that called “My Little Pony”. “The Return of Harmony – Part 1” is the episode that I watched at the first time by random.

Unhappily, after that I hadn’t to watched “My Little Pony” anymore because at the moment I had more focused myself in national exam and looked for college to going on to the next study. But up to a time on early February, 2016  that coincide with my birthday month, when I went hang out at the mall, I had intuitively met with “My Little Pony” but in different live show concept like this below.

Initially, I was guessing and thought that I was the only one who like “My Little Pony” at the age who isn’t childhood anymore, especially in Indonesia and at the time I had decided to looked for how much far “My Little Pony” is known on internet in Indonesia in 2016. In a short time later, finally I was suddenly found a herd or fandom who like in “My Little Pony” in Indonesia and I have begin make deal to join in the fandom in February, 2016. So it means, I was never met with “My Little Pony” anymore for 3 years from 2013 until 2016. Beside that, I was surprised that there are some members who also come from collegian groups in it. The funny fact, even though I knew “My Little Pony” since 2013, I just knew all almost characters overall in 2016 and Fluttershy is my favorite  and Rarity is the second else.

During I joining in the herd, sometimes I found some of members who posted a character that’s not come from “My Little Pony” and I was curious about that; I had ask to a member, whether it was posted that?. In the fandom they called OC or (original character), which every members can make their own character(s) based their own imagination and from there I was interested to made own character and from the OC we can make a role play of story fiction or just make drawing about the OC.

After and during for 10 months I join the herd, finally at a day before night of new year 2017, I was immediately made character that I made and I given name “ALPHA TEA”. Uniquely, after I made that, I was uploaded it at the night of new year 2017 on Facebook. In beside that, there are some many another uniqueness about “ALPHA TEA”, such as:

The name of “ALPHA TEA” is actually source from my mid-name “Alfatih” by using comparison word which taken from English that sounds similar when pronounced with my mid-name “alpha” and “tea”.Because “alpha”, it sounds more masculine, so I choose stallion.Because “tea”, I was thought and imagine about the color of green tea or matcha and based from that I decided to choose green tea color for the skin. In fact, blue is my favorite color.The mane color is based from color pack of “Pocky” matcha flavor.The cutie mark is also taken from a picture of pack of “Pocky” matcha flavor in the form of a cup of matcha with tea leaves. I choose unicorn as the character of “ALPHA TEA” because I argue that unicorn is more having authoritative bearing, beauty/handsome, elegant and charming.  This is probably the only one OC (original character) of pony with pomade shiny mane.In the making of OC “ALPHA TEA” is based from a member of fandom who have OC with coffee as the concept and it was idea came out to made a couple character between “coffee and tea”. The beverages are both contained of caffein. The characterization of “ALPHA TEA” in common, he is kind heart and wise but rather shy and however his appearance is always cool, calm and he loves tranquility. Beside that, he has hobbies in writing, drawing, reading and yes of course his favorite beverage is tea.

I need to document this dream, since the night before I was doing some magic in my room, so it was full of lingering energy...I believe that because of this my dreams I had held such significance to me, and was as vivid as they were. I must have tapped into many different things, and although the last part of the dream was pretty normal (I dreamt of final fantasy characters haha) it was still so real. -- I was in a non traditional airplane (it had rooms rather than a isle of seats) and on my way to Russia. The vibe of the place was really off, and many of the people there weren't very happy. The bathroom had a line of people, and they stood away from the toilet because it had no door for privacy. I was out there, finishing using the bathroom when the flight attendant found me and told me that I was required to work in the other room with the others. I didn't feel too great about being told that, but I followed her regardless. She said that not many people are qualified to get the job and to feel luck- and don't mess it up. The other room was a computer room, and many others were tapping away on the keyboard. The attendant showed me to my computer, pointed out all the tabs open on the internet, and told me it's my job to send spam messages to people. So that's what I did, I was somehow able to hijack people's facebooks and post spam on their page. Eventually I just knew I had to leave. I couldn't take anymore of this. I needed to escape the place, so I found a nearby door and went exited the room. Now, apparently I wasn't on the airplane anymore because the door led to an abandoned parking garage. There was daylight lighting up the place, And the first thing I really noticed was the heat. It was really hot, but I continued on, going wherever.... I didn't know where I was really. The parking garage was structured differently, it had rooms and easily climbable columns, and in general, was pretty big with many floors to it. As I walked down a floor I started to hear deep animal grumbles coming from an open room I was about to walk in. From what I could see, I saw a huge fuzzy dog like-beast-dragony thing (a lot like falcore but dirty and fiercer ). It knew I was near and started to speak, its words sadistic and carnal. It said "come give your body to me. I only like sluts but you can do." And I RAN away. No NO way was I going near that beast! I went down another level or two and and began to realize that this world wasn't normal at all. Maybe something happened because, an apocalypse maybe? I couldn't hear anything from outside-no cars or people-no city sounds- silence. I had a feeling that something happened to the world while I was away, but I didn't know what. Somewhere along the line I found someone. She had long hair and seemed adapted to her surroundings and this off world. She was very strong and able to climb around the place with ease. She was also very careful of her surroundings and easily spotted me. At first she seemed ready to fight, but then that passed and she joined me. It was fuzzy remembering what was happening, but next I was near the door to the outside, sitting on some rubble with her. We found some ocarinas and began to play them. The one I found was apparently rare and a good find. When it was over we realized something (I forgot the significance and importance), but whatever it was, we had to go back up to the original floor, and back into the airplane-computer room. Luckily there was an elevator that we took straight up. I think what I was trying to do was rescue those who were in there with me. The ones I went to rescue ended up being the my little ponies, twilight and fluttershy. (WhY them??I have no clue..) We got out and the ponies were gone. Something happened and I think the long haired girl I was with turned on me, left and didn't want to see me, and if I did find her she wouldn't be as nice as before. I was looking for her, and made my way to the roof of the building. I was with someone else now, I'm not sure who he was. On the roof was the girl with some guy. They apparently stuck together as a team, and I just happened to meet her without him by her side. When they saw us, it wasn't good. The guy by my side was a good fighter and did whatever he could to protect us when a fight broke out. Thats when something unintentionally bad happened to the other guy (the one with the girl). He was attached to some robe or chain that fell over the side, and so he fell off the building and died. The dream changed, and it was almost like I was able to walk from one dream to the next. I ran away from the building, and ran through a hilly grove of trees that looked beautifully twisted, and had flowers on the leaves. The color of it all-the roots, the ground, the sky, was a deep blue-dark mossy green. This wasn't really a world and lacked many things besides the trees and the ground i walked on. I continued on until BOOM the other dream took place... I wasn't me anymore, and the point of view I was in changed a bit. In the beginning I was a younger prince, walking outside. The trees here were GIANT! Like redwoods. I walked into a building and sat down at a chair designated for me. I was waiting for my father to be done talking to other officials and was just bored...really bored and uninterested in everything. The prince, I realized then, was a slightly younger Noctis. Out of boredom, or maybe out of special interest, he had his childhood friend/Shield, Gladiolus, go get something for him. Gladiolus went outside. It was hot again, really hot-Prompto (another friend) was even complaining how hot it was-, (I felt the heat in the dream yet I wasn't hot while sleeping) and then he went inside a small greenhouse/rv building. It was small, had a kitchen, shelves, and lots of light coming from the many windows. Gladiolus stood on a step stool to reach the very top shelf, and began to organize and look for what noctis wanted. Clothing and random items were on that shelf. Noctis came to him eventually. the item wasn't found and that was ok with Noctis since 'it didn't matter anyway'. It was over in a matter of seconds before it changed, and It felt as if I walked into something that wasn't for me to see, so I left immediately . There was a room, and although it wasn't the focus, it was a bedroom with red draping cloth everywhere as well as pillows. And the two beings were having sex, and it wasn't explicit- I didn't even get to see there faces really. One was male bodied and the other femaled. I'm not sure who, but one of them was part snake because there was a thick black scaled snake body that was an active part of the two's sex. The 'woman' had really long, thick, black hair, and they both wore gold accessories. If anyone has thoughts of what the huge beast was in the room-I'd love to hear your thoughts...
