The thing about being in both the classic rock and also men's football fandom is that the way they interact with eachother in public is soooo just idk contradictory?!? Anyways heres a graphic to explain what I mean
While most people know him for his music, fewer people know him for his love of football. Dmitri Shostakovich was arguably the biggest fan of Leningrad's football team FC Zenit. He attended games regularly, kept track of scores and standings in a notebook dedicated entirely to Soviet football, and even wrote a few football-related articles for the local paper. He loved the sport so much that he was even a trained referee!
Pictured here is Shostakovich (bottom right) and friends at a football match. He clearly transforms from his typical morose and sarcastic self to an enthusiastic and excited version when football is in question.
one of my favorite Doctor Antics™️ has to be the doctor being held at swordpoint, very nonchalantly impaling an orange on said sword, and then pulling out a football rattle from his pockets and goin HOGWILD BABEY!!!
