So my sister is in the local high school play and mentioned she needs overalls for a costume but can’t find any that work and now it’s 1:46am and I’m making her overalls.
"I know, it's a pain. But they'll make your full moons so much easier, trust me."
"But none of these are even fun."
"Look, sweetie, it's very new accessibility clothing. They're working on it, alright? This is mostly being marketed towards adult humans still."
"This is stupid. I'm getting along fine with stretchy pants and snaps."
"It won't be long before you'll start getting full transformations. A little stretch won't be enough when you stop being bipedal. And snaps are better than buttons and zippers, but they're very difficult with claws."
"Heidi's clothes have velcro."
"If you want to spend every waxing moon cleaning your own fur out of every single patch of velcro on your clothes, knock yourself our, honey."
As a costume designer, it's kind of baffling to me that we have only one actual canon iteration of the famous Mayerling dress (the one designed by Reinhard Heinrich for the original production and 1st revival). It's baffling to me because there's a chance for a designer to insanely show off and go so wild with reinterpreting the standard Tod costume, but everyone is just squandering it.
A make an animation with MariPav inspo and then the next chapter comes out? So if I make another animation the next chapter will come out sooner, right? /j /silly
Hee! It WAS good timing, wasn't it? The week-long Tumblr hiatus was mostly for mental health, but it was very good for productivity. (And I'd intended to buckle down and finish Chapter 5, so...!)
I gotta say, one thing posting on the internet has made me aware of... it never hurts a story's production to have people cheerleading for it to come out! ("Apologies" may have gotten as much attention as it did, overtaking MariPav, because of all the enthusiastic asks ^^;)
But as for the next chapter of "Marionettes' Pavane"...
