human walks behind a pillar as casually as they can

no one can see them but that will only last a moment

footsteps are getting closer

a moment of disorientation

when the footsteps catch up-

the bad guy sees a different face than the one he was expecting

a surprised figure in ill fitting clothes

that he has never seen before

speaks into his earpiece "False Alarm"

walks away

as their heart rate starts to return to normal the figure feels something moving along their skin

eventually the formally human-sized human peaks out through the scarf

"i can't believe that worked. did you have to shrink me so fast?"

the fairy uncomfortably readjusted their wings under the polyester shirt
