ugh I have such a CONCEPT about the indoctrinated footsoldiers of an Imperialist Space Alien Regime, plus their lieutenant/team dad (nice guy, minus the war crimes), who accidentally cause their side to fail in their attempt to conquor Earth. So obviously, the whole squad has to go undercover as a regular human family while waiting on further orders from above.

Only... wait. They're integrating into human society. They're starting to actually care about petty neighbourhood squabbles and high school drama. They're making friends??? And along the way, they're piecing together that a) the Empire is pretty fucking awful, tbh; b) ....wow, propaganda lied to us about. A Lot. (and we didn't ask more questions because we didn't want to know and that's really fucked up, holy shit); and c) ohfuck the next phase of the invasion is on its way and we actually kinda like humanity now oh god what can we do to stop this

Anyway, I have been mulling it for so long and ONE DAY it will be written. One day.

If we end up playing with The Sun That Makes You Homicidal, which one’s going to try to kill the other first?

Because sure Donna’s a human, and the Doctor’s looked into the untempered schism before and allegedly ran.

But the Doctor’s always three unfortunate events away from murder, whereas Donna’s psychologically a much further distance from that. Though I admit I think Donna could do it in panic or self-defence.

But the Donna getting to see the Doctor turn, would be for a certain definition of the word, fun. And a nice callback to her first episode with the Racnoss.

Of course it could just be like the soldiers more than the Meep tale implies. A hostile takeover of the mind. But then would it want to talk to the Doctor as the most powerful one in the room, or be the Doctor?
