Watching Sam & Brennan talk about the beauty of frivolity, of adults playing silly games just as seriously as they fight to survive, and... yeah. There are some things that keep us alive, and there are some things that make life worth living, and I think games are one of those things that fall into both categories. Games make our lives better and they make us better at being alive. I think that's pretty cool.

Finally I can post the comic for Adventurer!Zenos that has taken hold of my brain for the past week.

AKA a man who is currently running off the fumes of the literal souls of the damned being very desperate to be out of the void he was stuck in (and for the first time actually being able to just enjoy something mundane), only to get absolutely overwhelmed but all the stimuli he had just... ignored until now.

The two of you flee to the HOLY TOWER, where you find the swarm of butterflies. As Adea asks about what's for sale, Walter points out that neither of them are talking in comprehensible language. Whatever communication is taking place, there's some unconscious layer to it, something obfuscating and translating intentions to make it seem like a conversation happened. He realizes it was happening to him, too. What does this fox-person on the other side think is happening, when they "talk"? Do they understand your predicament at all, or are they just selling wares to some mystery middleman?

Adea ruffles his feathers and calls him a nerd.

(One serving of BEAT USER restores one point of hunger, and you've got two mouths to feed. You'll need to stock up if you want to last very long! If you need more Coin than you've got available, there's a few options.

There are more than a few anagrams throughout the story that've yet to be solved. A quick sweep reveals thirty-two possible opportunities to earn additional Coin, though ~7-8 of them require information you don't have or are just too unfair to solve. I've gone through and marked unsolved anagrams in red!

Spending time decoding files uncovered by a WIFI ACCESS POINT is an efficient way of getting a lot of Coin at once. Right now, the only one installed is behind the monster, though...

It's not just main story posts that have unsolved anagrams. There's a whole bunch sitting right there in the Coin standings for the reaping!

Speaking of which, there's a few people who've earned Coin but haven't been spending it. If you need a little bit extra, why not decode their name and ask them for help?)

While you lick your wounds and pray for charity from the butterflies, you've got to come up with some sort of plan. But a plan for... what? You're so hungry, it's hard to be sure...

Most places only have a single thermostat. Those poor LONE THERMOSTATS need friends! If only you had some way to install more thermostats.

People just keep yapping on and on and on without accomplishing much. This PALAVER THEME needs to stop recurring, so you can get back on task.

You heard some owls earlier, but then YOU UNHEARD OWLS, so you can't remember what they said. Finding some way to re-hear those owls is important.

Lily here isn't wearing enough clothing. You've got to FULLY ROBE LILY- this wardrobe malfunction is downright scandalous! You don't want to be prudes, but it's really distracting.

And, of course, all of those objectives will be easier to achieve if you FIGHT THY RELIC so it's not getting in your face all the time with its archaeological and anthropological significance.

I don't know how many people on here read (or did read) Pokemon Adventures, but do y'all remember the end of the FRLG arc? When Red, Blue, Green, and Yellow are fucking turned into stone and the arc just ends there?

I remember being in the fucking trenches when we were still waiting for a resolution to that. It took a few years I think, and the entire time I was so upset because "When will you help my friends :((((" (I was like 13 at this time lmao)

The payoff in the Emerald arc ends up being worth it but people who didn't have to wait in the trenches to see the Dex Holders survive their predicament don't know the pain the fandom was in lmao. I still vividly remember waiting for Coronis's monthly updates on the Serebii forums (Coronis was the resident manga expert who would update with summaries and pics from the latest chapter releases in Japan).

Diluc traced the tip of his nails around and around on the surface of the bedsheet. He tilted his head and looked out of the window, seeing lush grass and a couple of shroomboars and suchlike wandering around in the meadow close by the cottage Ayato and rented out for them.

He slipped out of the bed they had shared the night before, still wearing a black silken, somewhat translucent, evening robe which slipped softly against his skin, and as it was relatively warm in Sumeru, this was probably reasonable clothing, considering he didn’t wish to have overheat.. not that he would probably be able to if Ayato was around.

The stool untouched, he sat upon it. The room owned a dressing table made of rich oak wood. It was carved with spirals and wooden flowers in the shape of the sweet flower, a common plant used for many healing dishes throughout Teyvat.

Holding his hands up to his cheeks and letting the tangles of his crimson hair spill down his his back, currently loose and cascading down around his shoulders and collar bone, some got caught up in his fingers as he squished the red strands between his fingertips as he got lost in thought.
