Can we talk about Juno Zeta?
You're living the dream, Master Archivist of the Sixth House. The Archaeology department hates you. The secretaries love you. Your son has risen to the very top of the absolutely unproblematic meritocracy of the House to become Master Warden. Sure, you treated him as a colleague when he was 7 too, but this is much more intellectually satisfying and much better for your publication record (suck it, Archeo). You sit on the Oversight Body, making decisions for the 3 million strong House of the Sixth.
Then the Master Warden gets summoned by god to become a Lyctor. (No civilian has seen a Lyctor for thousands of years. But the information you do have speaks of astonishing power. Are you intrigued? Do you regard it as an even more stellar opportunity for the Master Warden? Do Lyctors have access to interesting material for the archives? Does the possibility of your son becoming an immortal finger and gesture of god ever feel strange?)
A few months later, some fragments come back in a box. There's nothing left of Camilla at all. No one will tell you anything. Every House but the Third and the Ninth has lost its head or heir (the poor girl your son loved is dead. You're never going to get another overly-formal letter from the Fifth begging for Lyctoral documents from your archive.)
Then the Master Warden makes contact from beyond the grave to tell you that the saintly founder of your House left a plan in place in case it ever became necessary to betray god. He tells you why god should be betrayed.
Suddenly, the Oversight Body has to make a decision. To take your home and 3 million people away from the Dominicus System (away from its thanergetic soil, no more necromancers will ever be born). To break the contract of tenderness made on the day of the Resurrection. Do you have time to call back your soldiers in the Cohort? Do you have to leave them behind? Has the Oversight Body ever felt unanimously about something before? And how frank can you be with the House? You have visiting scholars from almost every House, and who knows where the Bureau have eyes and ears.
There are calculations to make. How to transport a whole House? How do you work out that it takes five hundred and thirty-two obselisks? That there are deleterious effects past five hundred and sixty? How do you find a stele that would anchor such a big thanergy transition? (Only the Fifth make stele. Do you try to do it yourselves? Who do you trust on the Fifth to help with that? Is that why Kester Cinque left Koniortos?)
The Master Warden, who is dead, lives inside the body of Camilla, who is not. He picks you - in your capacity as Master Archivist - to be one of the negotiators. How do you integrate 3 million people into a completely alien society with whom your people have been at war for millennia? How does negotiating with terrorists feel compared to academic committees?
What happens then? One day you just...lose it? The sun rises too bright and too blue and you are in agony, unconnected from yourself, screaming and writhing. And when the thing in the sky is at its furthest orbit from you, in some exhausted moment of clarity, you nearly kill yourself using necromancy to restore your sanity. You blind yourself. Do you think beyond that moment? As someone who deals in documents and artefacts and forms in triplicate, do you mourn your sight alongside everything else you have lost? Your son, your home, your god, your sanity...
And now you are a hostage. Sixteen of you in the back of a sweltering truck, held at gunpoint, always moving. The only thing keeping you alive is the possibility of selling you back to the empire that you've betrayed. Your captors have signed a 'no torture' clause, and perhaps they do stick to that. You're needed for providing proof of life and are probably better off than most. But it's too hot, there's not enough water, you can't see, and the only way out is either that the Master Warden gives Blood of Eden a Lyctor or being released to the mercies of the Kindly Prince. You sit in the dark and do mental maths with each other to stay sane.
Somehow, the Master Warden has done it. Without a Lyctor, he's turned his own cell commander against her fellows and you have been released. Most of the Oversight Body can't even walk out of the truck without help. But you're free, and the Master Warden - now in the stolen body of a Lyctor's cavalier - has the sort of mad scheme only he could come up with. Those mental maths will come in handy. The cell commander isn't bad either...
You can't see your son die again (the last time he speaks to you, from that borrowed body, he calls you 'mum' instead of 'Master Archivist'). But you can smell Camilla’s flesh burn. Perhaps the Commander, holding your arm, describes it to you. You follow this new person, your child, now something else, back into the truck where you were held captive and watch as they drive it into the River.
The Tomb is open. Your child is part of a being of strange and unimaginable power. The House Formerly Known as Sixth is on the other side of the universe. You are on the Ninth with a dead cavalier in the body of her necromancer, the Emperor’s construct, legions of demons, and a very mysterious dog...
Anyway, I'm very excited to see what havoc Juno gets to cause in ATN. She's there to be snarky, do psychometry, and be a romanceable MILF. Let her yell at god. And for goodness sake, let her get some peace at the end.

THEORY: Sigmund Authen, Anya Forger, Yor Briar and Yuri Briar are all connected to Project Apple.
How is Sigmund connected? He was one of the scientists that worked on Project Apple way before or when it just started
First of all, his appearance is giving Albert Einstein to me, a famous scientist and as well his expression of Eureka-an expression popularized by a mathematician/scientist. He also used to teach in universities.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
There are a lot of other abilities being developed in project Apple. We have seen someone who has an unusual sense of smell in the cruise arc (I really think he was a product of some experiment). But I think Sigmund is a scientist that focuses on the mind's abilities. Why?
His name was probably derived from the famous neurologist Sigmund Freud. What does a neurologist do?  A neurologist is a medical doctor who's an expert in diagnosing and treating diseases and conditions of your brain, spinal cord and nerves. Sigmund is also the founder of psychoanalysis-which also studies the mind. Always connected to the brain. So he must be also the one who first conducted experiments in mind manipulation and mind reading.
Does this mean that Sigmund knows that Anya is a subject of that experiment? No, because he had probably already quit project Apple before Anya was brought in as subject 007 or before she even existed. It won’t fit the timeline if he was one of the scientists that experimented on Anya. (I also think that Anya’s number does not indicate the number of people that have been experimented on but the number of subjects that became successful, still just a speculation)
However, it seems like he doesn’t remember much about the experiment, (he doesn’t even remember the right way home). When he quit, maybe he cut all ties he had with the project, realizing how mean and cruel it was. He forgot about it like he was never part of it in the first place.
And then right after this chapter, Endo gave us that jaw dropping and mind-boggling four page short chapter that started to plague our minds since, indicating we were about to tackle Anya’s past. So I may have to agree that Sigmund could be Anya’s trigger to remember the past.
But how did Yor and Yuri got involved in Project Apple?
Yor and Yuri were once subjects of project Apple, the first successful ones. Where do we think Yor’s incredible strength came from? How about Yuri’s intelligence and resilience even though hit by a car or lost a lot of blood? I know, as the major genre is comedy, some of the scenes are exaggerated. But when it comes to Yor and Yuri, the difference they possess regarding their abilities was always highlighted.
Like also, let’s think about it. The name of the experiment is Project Apple. What is Yor’s favorite flavor or food? Apple. What was the name of the assassin team she belongs to? Garden (Which is tied to Eden and of the forbidden Apple fruit but Eden’s connection with Garden and Project Apple will be dealt in another time)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
How about Yuri? Well, the SS is the one monitoring him. He was the youngest among the SS. The reason they hired him, Oh he was cute right? Said the man who recruited him. Yeah cute alright. They just knew how invincible he was physically because of the experiment.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Ostania, through Garden and SS  is making sure that the Briar siblings remain at their fingertips, doing their purpose, using the skills the project had given them for Ostania’s advantage.
Maybe that’s the reason why their parents got killed. They died in an attempt to protect and hide them. I noticed that their house seems to be far from modern civilization, more like a small province not like a city that is crowded, compared to Loid’s town in Luwen.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
In addition, maybe that is why Endo made Yor and Anya to be the one who met Sigmund in Chapter 90. Because the three of them are bound by the same thing-Project Apple.

Exploration of the now-offline Far Cry 5 official websites
Part 14: Jerome Jeffries
Recovered content
On the American website, Jerome was introduced on or before July 13th, 2017:
Tumblr media
THE PASTOR JEROME JEFFRIES After serving in the Gulf War, Jerome returned to Montana to serve as the county’s Catholic parish priest. But with the influx of Project at Eden’s Gate, he lost his church and some blood along the way. Now, armed with the Good Book and a good gun, he’s ready to lead his congregation from the pulpit once again.
There was a link to this video:
youtube
In an article titled “Meet Far Cry 5's Characters” posted on May 26th, 2017, on the same website, this is what we could read about Jerome:
Tumblr media
THE PASTOR, JEROME JEFFRIES Jerome was Hope County's parish priest for more than 15 years, and was one of the first in the community to befriend Joseph Seed, the founder of The Project at Eden's Gate. Before long, Jerome's flock left to follow Joseph, and Jerome tried to take it in stride – until Eden's Gate locked down the county. Not only did Jerome lose his church, but he was beaten and left for dead in the woods. Jerome survived and vowed to protect the cult's intended victims, and as a Gulf War vet, he's got the training and experience to lead Hope County back to the light.
On or before February 9th, 2018, on the page dedicated to the characters, his description was modified:
Tumblr media
THE PASTOR JEROME JEFFRIES Pastor Jerome Jeffries is God’s hammer. He served in the first Gulf War and saw combat up close, then returned to Montana and has been the region’s pastor for over 15 years. When Joseph Seed arrived 10 years ago, Pastor Jerome Jeffries was one of the first to befriend him. It wasn’t long before many of the pastor’s congregation broke away and joined Joseph, calling him Father. Pastor Jerome Jeffries became uncomfortable with Joseph’s unorthodox worship, but conceded that people must choose their own path to God. Then came the lockdown. The Pastor was beaten, tossed in the woods, and left to die. He clawed his way back to life and headed back to Fall’s End to protect those in need with the Good Book in one hand and a gun in the other.
And on March 27th, 2018, while the text and the linked video remained the same, the presentation slightly changed:
Tumblr media
On the European website, from March 10th, 2018 (or earlier), to at least February 7th, 2020, he was described as follows:
Tumblr media
JEROME JEFFRIES THE PASTOR After serving in the Gulf War, Jerome returned to Montana to serve as the county’s Catholic parish priest. But with the influx of Project at Eden’s Gate, he lost his church and some blood along the way. Now, armed with the Good Book and a good gun, he’s ready to lead his congregation from the pulpit once again.
The video was the same as the American one, but uploaded on the Ubisoft UK YouTube channel:
youtube
Commentary
Jerome does say he once was “a pawn in an oil war” in Far Cry 5, and Mary May, that “he fought in Iraq one or two”, so the part about him serving in the first Gulf War (like Jacob) seems canon. Because of the (cut) description of the Lamb of God Church, I assumed he was Lutheran and not Catholic, so either I’m wrong or they changed their mind and that explains why the word “Catholic” then disappeared from the description.
He also talks about having been kidnapped by John, who managed to make him say things he’s apparently ashamed he said, then “beaten, tossed in the woods, and left to die”, after which he considered leaving but decided against it and to protect the people of Fall’s End instead when he found a copy of the Bible. Although that dialog is still in the game, it always bothered me in terms of the timeline because Jerome says the incident happened before the Deputy arrived, but the Reaping (so the cult locking down Hope County and capturing Fall’s End) only began after Joseph’s failed arrest...
As for the part about him befriending Joseph, it’s never mentioned in the game, but we can imagine Jerome did welcome the Seed family when they arrived. However, it’s reminiscent of the live-action trailer The Baptism, in which we also get a glimpse of Joseph dragging an unconscious Jerome. Several elements of the video, the most important and mysterious one being the little girl, were never explained and/or are inconsistent with the current story of Far Cry 5... but maybe not with early versions of it.
I don’t know how canon this description still is, but I think it’s yet another proof that the story in general and the cult’s methods in particular went through several changes during the development of the game and that, at one point, the locked-down county and the constant terror caused by Eden’s Gate were not new; they had been going on for weeks, maybe months or even years before the Deputy’s arrival, and Jerome had been fighting against them the whole time.
Under the cut are all the available source files, saved directly from the website, of the images you see in the screenshots:

Catherine Borowski has always had an active imagination. As a child, she dreamed that the car park on her north London council estate would be transformed into a garden. The reality was quite different. “No one had a car, so it was empty, grey and depressing,” she says. Now a sculptor and event producer, Borowski has made it her mission to fill unloved urban spaces with flowers – albeit virtual ones.
She and her partner Lee Baker are the founders of Graphic Rewilding, a project to install huge nature-inspired artworks into the urban landscape. “Where real rewilding isn’t possible, our goal is to inject the colour and diversity of nature into rundown spaces, urging people to notice – and find joy in – the world around them,” says Baker.
The pair believe that flowers possess serious powers, even when they’re not real. “We know that spending time in nature is good for us, but studies show that even pictures of plants have a positive effect on the mind,” says Baker. He cites research published in The Journal of Alternative and Complementary Medicine, which found that imagery of plants in hospital waiting rooms can help reduce feelings of stress in patients.
Baker, a painter and music producer, has long understood the benefits of biophilic design. Having suffered a breakdown 10 years ago, he found that drawing flowers was the only way to soothe his buzzy brain. “I would set out to draw dystopian landscapes, representative of my state of mind, but I’d always end up drawing flowers, which uplifted me,” he says.
It was around this time that Baker met Borowski, joining her production company as creative director. The pair have collaborated ever since, launching Graphic Rewilding in 2021. Since then, they’ve installed floral murals at locations including Earl’s Court station, Lewes Castle and Westfield Shopping Centre in Shepherd’s Bush – all hand drawn by Baker. “We love galleries, but we focus on public art,” he says. “This way, our work is out there for everyone to enjoy.”
This year the pair have grand plans to create a series of stained glass pavilions (think greenhouses with colourful floral-themed panels), which they hope might find homes at Kew Gardens and the Eden Project. “The way light shines through the glass is magical,” says Borowski.
Even so, they concede that art is no match for Mother Nature. “Some people have suggested that our project detracts from real rewilding efforts. But both can co-exist,” says Borowski. “Of course we want more green spaces.” adds Baker. “But we aren’t gardeners. We’re artists. In the absence of nature, we want to create inspiring spaces through art.”
Overall, the response has been hugely positive. “The joy that these artworks bring is palpable,” says Baker, highlighting an early project in Crawley, West Sussex. “Many people in the town were employed by Gatwick airport and Covid had taken its toll,” he recalls. In a bid to spread some joy, the duo painted brick walls, billboards, benches and even bins with their signature floral flair. “Peoples’ reactions were heartwarming. There were so many smiling faces,” he says.
Elsewhere, in Earl’s Court, the pair transformed “a ratty piece of tarmac” into a modern-day pleasure garden, which is now often filled with children dancing and doing cartwheels on the way home from school. “Putting art into a place that previously felt unloved feels like cultivating joy where there was none,” reflects Borowski. “If something like this had been installed on my estate when I was a kid, it would have been a dream come true.”

The Founder of the Garden
Okay new sxf chapter came out. I just read it. I had a crack theory form in my head so I will immediatly get this out without thinking it through to be pathetically disproven in the following chapters. People who have been following me for a while should already know I am absolute shit at making theories but I cant learn to stop. Anyway,
I think Martha is the founder of Garden, the assasin organization Yor is part of.
Henry's preferred path to stop the war is education so he becomes a teacher and this chapter demonstrates that Martha's is fighting back. She still fights to end conflicts but she thinks fighting back is necessary. Hence stopping the bullies by attacking them back. So I think she would eventually find an assasin organization and name it "the Garden" in referance to their shared tea parties in Eden's garden.
That is all. Good day

I keep seeing people say Lost Eden is the most hated game but I never really see an explanation as to why, could you please explain it to me? Thank you!
// It ruined everything for most people and it created so much discomfort for no reason.
1. It tries to portray Karlheinz as a good guy and somehow “redeemable” even if he never showed any remorse for literally committing a Romanian genocide and gave such a hard time to so many innocent people, who, btw, once dead were turned into GHOULS.
2. Dumbs down a bunch of characters. Are you really telling me Carla wouldn’t know Shin is fully a Founder, given that he literally has Founder looks and abilities?? And Shin might be dumb sometimes but I refuse to believe he’s really that dense so as not to realize his own species.
3. Inconsistent writing but… more than usual.
4. Seiji being a disgusting creep out of the blue, who wants to marry his daughter.
5. Yui being either thrown aside in some routes and serving just as emotional support or simply making matters worse only because “the writers need to give her a role there after all”.
6. Laito’s whole development from all the previous games being completely erased in his Good Ending.
7. Kino being such a good villain but having such a bad route, for the reason that the romance was too forced and most players were siding with Ayato rather than paying attention to him, since Ayato was admittedly the better choice, which resulted in Kino not acquiring many fans.
8. Ayato’s route, which traumatized too many Japanese, Chinese, Korean and Taiwanese fans due to the uncalled and undeserved mental torture.
9. Some good endings are bad endings in disguise and that makes no sense. Like, that’s the worst way to finish the journey of a character…
10. The cgs didn’t hit as hard as they once did.

A few years ago, I played through the Dragon Age games. Now I'm playing through Mass Effect, and I find it kind of hilarious that in both DA2 and ME2 Bioware was like, "Okay, these games are pretty combat heavy, so we've got to figure out who the protagonists are going to be fighting the whole game." And in both games, they were like, "How about various gangs, each with a gimmick, whose members will ceaselessly throw themselves into the deadly path of the protagonist?"
I've written about this before for DA2, but it's just as funny in ME2.
You've gotta imagine the conversations happening in the mercenary gang headquarters throughout the events of this game. The leaders have gotta be like, "Okay, why are our members dropping like flies all of the sudden?" And then they get a little intel and they're like, "Oh."
So they gather their crews around and they're like, "So guys, we just want to let you know to keep an eye out on any jobs coming up because we've been taking some hits."
And the crew members are like, "Okay, who are we looking out for?"
And the leaders go, "Well, first of all, Commander Shepard. You know that human who saved the Citadel from the Geth and that rogue Spectre a couple of years ago?"
And one of the dudes is like, "I heard it was actually a Reaper she defeated."
And the rest of the crew laugh at that crazy conspiracy theory and are like, "One human? Big deal."
And the leaders are like, "Well...not exactly. She tends to run with a crew."
And then the leaders have to tell them about Shepard's crew, consisting of:
Some human lady who always wears a hood (Kasumi is actually good at her job, so I assume they wouldn't have reliable intel on her)
A Quarian tech expert
A former Alliance marine who survived Eden Prime and the attack of the Citadel
A lady who's pretty much a clone designed to be physically and mentally perfect
A Salarian who helped redesign the genophage and was also a member of the Special Forces
The galaxy's top bounty hunter and also co-founder of the Blue Suns
Some Drell dude who may or may not be the most successful assassin in the galaxy
A biotic prodigy who has broken out of more than one high security containment facility
Weirdly, another clone designed to be physically and mentally perfect, but this time they're a Krogan
An Asari Justicar (or her even more murderous progeny)
A Geth who can talk, apparently
And a Turian who looks like, sounds like, and shoots exactly like that guy Archangel, who took out large swaths of merc crews almost singlehandedly before mysteriously disappearing (or dying?) on Omega
And at first the crew isn't that impressed. They're like, "Sounds like a bunch of weaklings to me." And then somewhere around Zaeed they start to be like, "Okay, we'll keep a lookout." And then somewhere around like Samara they start to be like, "Well, shit." And then they get to Garrus and they're like, "Please don't let it be that asshole again."
And the merc Commanders are like, "Good luck to you guys. Make sure to wear a helmet or you might be getting your head crushed through some mixture of pure biotic force, a Krogan bodyslam, and/or a headshot from the guy who's definitely not Archangel!"
And then after the guys leave the Commander thinks to himself, "I'm glad I made it up through the ranks before all this bullshit."

Tumblr media
The World Tree stick roots in the ground of Eden.
This one, as if in order to inform the end of world to me, continues to lose leafs.
I'm realizing it everytime I visit here.
The fear dominates my mind.
Like, that I can't be like the old man... ...
But, no matter how much I've been thinking, the answer is something that isn't coming.
When I kicked the ground while shaking my head, the feeling of fear desapeared a little.
And then, I thought about a woman's face. That chooses me, no matter what.
That vowed to be by my side... my beloved woman.
"But, she hasn't come yet, huh... ..."
Where is she, and what the heck she's doing? While looking up to the sky, i release an indescribable sigh of anxiety.
The woman expected to be by my side at this time usually, ain't revealing her figure now.
Well, whatever, because it's not like she promissed anything.
That's why I don't know what this woman is doing.
That's right, for example, even if she is involved with my other brothers, or if she is in good terms with the founder guys and the mukami family, who have started to visit me excessively at my place... ...
It's not related to me.
"... ... ... ... Shit!"
I don't want to stay in this place for a long time. Just because of this I'm leaving.
After giving this proper pretex, I turn my back to the world tree.
It's not... ... to search for this woman, I got around the surroundings in order to investigate the eden.
"You... were you still doing that?"
"Su- Subaru-Kun... ... !?"
Unexpectedly, I found the woman easily.
The place was at the Eden flower garden.
We frequently visit here to recover the withered plants of Eden.
By looking at the crouched woman's hand, I understood that she was planting in the ground awkward artificial flowers.
Are you leaving me alone to take care of the garden?
As soon as I thought it, my own confined feelings disgusted me.
"Hey, let's go back to the bedroom quick"
"Could you wait for me just a little longer? Since I'm almost finished."
"... ... ... ..."
I see the woman shaking the head and I get terribly discouraged.
In addition,  you can go back before me, she means.
She doesn't know my feelings.
I sit on the ground and give a deep sigh.
Without a doubt, she thought I would end up leaving.
The woman looks at me in a strange way.
"... ... ... ... Because."
"Eh?"
"... ... Because! You're in trance with that thing like an idiot... ... I'm saying that you should be more aware sometimes! (1)"
I wonder if she undertood my intention.
The woman's cheeks turn red for a moment, and she covers her face.
Simultaneously, I fall in self hate.
I didn't mean to say something like that.
The embarrassment controls my mind, and I fell like I want to scape right now.
At this moment...
"... ... !?"
I breath surprised.
The delicate body that was right in front of my eyes untill just before, was now dived inside my chest.
This way, she passes her arms around my back, and grabs my clothes with her thin fingers.
It was so sudden that I couldn't embrace, or push her aside, just kept dazed.
I felt like a really long time was necessary to comprehend the situation.
Could it be, that she wanted to be hugged... ...?
The moment I realize it, several minutes seem to have passed.
While the woman makes a slightly upset face, she turns her eyes towards me.
"... ... Ch. Don't make this face! (2)"
But even this treatment, stirts up her said greed wish.
Overwhelmed by love, I pull the woman inside of my arms.
This way, I kiss her nape.
The woman was moving as if ticklish, so I dropped my lips there many times to immobilize her.
"We're getting back to the bedroom for sure. Prepare yourself to what comes after this... ... okay?"
As I whisper it close to her ear, she looks so embarrassed, but responds to my expectations with nothing but a nood.
Untill some time ago, I lamented my own lack of power, and then got jealous that she didin't pay attention to me, but now it wasn't remaning on the corner of my mind anymore.
I held her hand with strength, and quickly traced the way towards the bedroom.
Now, I just want to feel her.
The warmth, the touch, the voice, the shape... ... I wanted to put my hands in everything.

Translation notes
1 - Subaru used the verb 構えって here which means "posture", I've found an article explaining this word can be used in martial arts as a command to get ready, so I thought that probably he was upset with Yui because if someone attacked her she would be stabbed without time to try defending herself, since she wasn't aware, she wasn't in "posture" to fight.
2 - He uses here 調子 which means mood, and 乗る which is a verb utilized to talk about taking means of transport, if I translated it word by word would end up in something like "don't ride this mood".

MAIN CHARACTERS
Ayato Sakamaki — Mystic sincerely finds Ayato as someone cool, feeding into his ego, for which he has earned the Vampire’s liking. Their chaotic personalities compliment each other. They are often seen wrecking havoc at any space they happen to be sharing.
Laito Sakamaki — While Mystic isn't as close with Laito as he is with Ayato, they will still have fluid conversations.
Kanato Sakamaki — Mystic enjoys taunting Kanato, like he's a chihuahua to rile up. Let's just say Kanato is not very fond of this.
Subaru Sakamaki — Mystic is aware of the youngest of the siblings and has been close enough to see his outbursts, but hasn't had a decent interaction with him.
Reiji Sakamaki — Reiji doesn't have a personal problem with Mystic, per se. In fact, he has spent enough time with him to know Mystic is a good student and man in general. It's when he is with the triplets that he becomes an utter nuisance and creates double the trouble on his own that the triplets ever could.
Shu Sakamaki — Once more, another brother Mystic doesn't interact with. He sees him passing by and has had to swerve out of the way to avoid tripping over him when he is sleeping on the corridors more than once, but never really had a complete conversation with the oldest brother.
Kino — Within the timeline of LOST EDEN, Kino becomes acquainted with Mystic and his family after a short feud over Yui, who had been living with the Founders as a favor from the Sakamaki. Once the First Bloods welcomed Kino and the Ghouls into the Banmaden, the tension between them started dissipating, eventually managing to build a friendship. It was only a matter of time of spending quality time together (and Kino nearly losing Mystic) for strong feelings to come bursting forth.
Shin Tsukinami — Mystic and his father are acquaintances at best. Since Mystic didn't grow up by Shin's side, they don't have a father-son relationship at all. As a matter of fact, they often feel threatened by the other, always trying to best each other. There are still some hard feelings from the events of DARK FATE.
Carla Tsukinami — Mystic is, quite frankly, terrified of his uncle. He has seen what Carla is capable of and how little he cared with how he may affect them with said actions. However, Mystic has also witnessed the First Blood king to be very protective of his family and—though rather harshly—try to keep them in line. Mystic continues to harbor hard feelings from the events of DARK FATE.
Azusa Mukami — Though Azusa and Mystic aren't particularly close, they do tend to find some form of comfort with each other.
Yuma Mukami — Even though they're always at each other's throats, Yuma and Mystic are pretty close. They actually enjoy the other's company, even though their personalities clash, their energy matches really well.
Kou Mukami — They're not really close, but they do get along. Their liking of music is pretty much everything they have in common. Mystic is a Kou closeted-fan, don't let him fool you.
Ruki Mukami — Mystic and Ruki are only involved previous and within the timeline of DARK FATE, their entanglement beginning upon the pair's first meeting, when Ruki aided the wounded Founder in exchange for his blood. Their unstable relationship is complicated with the ongoing Adam's Apple plan and the trouble from the sudden reappearance of Mystic's family. Without the need to mention, no two serpents should ever be within the confines of one single enclosure.
SIDE CHARACTERS
KarlHeinz — Mystic never encountered the Vampire King face-to-face more than twice since his infancy. However, Mystic's closeness to his sons, as well as the Mukami brothers, leave a wide view for KarlHeinz to pay him further attention. KarlHeinz has shown underlying interest for Mystic due to the complex cross of species that runs in his blood. It also intrigues him how easily Mystic is capable of influencing everyone he comes in contact with. (Especially someone as street-smart as Ruki). In other words, he finds Mystic's ability to "tempt" someone remarkable.
Richter — Their interactions—though few—have been tense and even less pleasant. Fortunately, they don't have to interact much, despite Mystic's frequent visits to the Sakamaki mansion.
Christa — Mystic and Christa never met, therefore neither has an opinion of the other. The Founder is only aware of her due to the few comments Subaru has let slip on occasion.
Cordelia — Mystic met Burai's daughter alive only once in his life. At the time, it was only Mystic that was aware of his familial connection to her at the time. His mother was well aware of who Menae was, but begged him to keep quiet, as they only knew partial facts that led them to the current circumstances. Suffice to say, he disliked the pampered princess from the very beginning. Despite being approximately the same age, Mystic couldn't find anything with which to relate to Cordelia. Cordelia, on the other hand, found him to be entertaining, like a pup of strange habits. The next time he heard her name was from the mouth of her sons, the triplets. Not one of their comments placed her anymore in his grace.
Beatrix — Mystic never really interacted with Beatrix. In fact, he knows even less about her than he does Christa, as neither Shu nor Reiji would even ever mention her.
Yuuri — Within the timeline of LOST EDEN, Yuuri becomes one of Mystic's closest confidant, often acting as a mediator between him and Kino. Mystic wholeheartedly trusts in Yuuri. In addition, both princes are especially keen on the terribly-hidden interest from the Ghoul towards Mystic's cousin, Kazuha.
Socrates — At most, Socrates is aware of Mystic existence from passing comments on KarlHeinz's part. Because of this, Socrates places Mystic in the midst of the havoc within the timeline of CHAOS LINEAGE.
Reinhart — It isn't rare for Mystic to pop at the infirmary during the odd instances Reinhart is there. The Founder has always found the doctor as weird, feeling that something is terrible off, therefore leaving as soon as he is able to. Reinhart has commented on how amusing he finds Mystic, as though he were an interesting comedic relief in the script of a play.

All-Star LAW (Living Assault Weapons), later All-Star Pax
After Raya's escape became known to the owners of the lab were her village was being held, they deploy the LAW to find and recapture her. The initial strike team consisted of Peacemaker (Kristoffer Schmidt, son of LAW founder Augustus Schmidt), The Beetle (Teodor Kordey, an inventor on loan from REACH after converting himself into a partial cyborg), Deadly Nightshade (Eve of Eden) and The Thunderbolt ("John Smith") both results of similar experiments to The Atom in using isolated communities to breed powerful metahumans for military use.
After several confrontations with Atom and the All-Stars, the entire team would abandon LAW and join Raya as the Pax.

Ghosts of New Eden and the Occult in Colonial America:
While playing Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden, I was tickled when one of the first people you meet describes himself and his father as demonologists. That might seem out of place in colonial America, given the nature of the religious milieu at the time, but occultism was all over the place in the colonies.
Despite the belief that magical practice was Satanic in nature, fortune telling, palm reading and particularly astrology were very common practices, and even alchemists could be found in some places. Wealthy people often kept books on magic and demonology in their personal libraries, and one governor of Connecticut had a copy of Cornelius Agrippa's Three Books of Occult Philosophy and some of John Dee's books in his collection. Even the family of Joseph Smith, the founder of Mormonism, practiced types of folk magic.
But how could people in a society built on what we would call extreme Christianity practice these arts? Well, faith never stopped anyone in Continental Europe, so many of those traditions carried over, but it was probably also the distance from standard religious ritual as seen in Catholicism that allowed folk magic to fill that void to some degree (the channel Esoterica on YouTube dives into this quite nicely). Even many monotheists today have spiritual beliefs and practices that aren't properly sanctioned by their religious texts or authorities, so it shouldn't come as a shock that people have, and always will, forge their own spirituality regardless of the "rules".
Just another reason that the setting of Banishers really tickles me.
