Etoiles right now : I officially asked Quackity to cancel my election request, but I don't know if he took it in consideration. Also I won't go mental killing everyone because it would not be rp for my character and no one will probably have fun. What I can do though, is assassinate people if I'm hired, on the condition it makes sense who it is. For exemple I will never kill Baghera or BBH, it doesn't make sense rp-wise, Foolish on the other hand...

The eggs are still missing. Let's take a break from the angst with some memes and humor. I'm aware that these memes are from the election arc.

Below are Image IDs.
[Image ID 1: A "Who Would Win?" meme, featuring FoolishGamers in his QSMP elections minecraft skin and Pomme the French egg. Foolish is wearing a green shirt, brown pants, green suspenders, a yellow tie, and sunglasses. Pomme has red and blue marks on her face and wears a black beret. The text under Foolish says "A Living Totem of Undying." The text under Pomme says "A French child with a laser gun." ]
[Image ID 2: A "Who Would Win?" meme, featuring Baghera and Etoiles in their QSMP elections + Mike's haircuts minecraft skins. Baghera is wearing a black suit with black shorts, white shoes, and is sporting short pink hair. Etoiles is wearing a full black suit, sunglasses, and earpiece like a personal bodyguard. He is sporting white hair. The text under Baghera reads "A Swiss duck with a laser gun." The text under Etoiles reads "A cucumber who is boss as security."]
[Image ID 3: A "Who Would Win?" meme, featuring 2 Code monsters and Etoiles in his QSMP elections + Mike's haircuts minecraft skin. Etoiles is wearing a full black suit, sunglasses, and earpiece like a personal bodyguard. He is sporting white hair. The 2 binary entities are floating green numbers in a cylindrical (crooked) shape. The text under Etoiles says "A cucumber who lives for fights." The text under the Codes says "2 strange cylinders made of numbers." ]

I've gotta be honest it's getting harder and harder to follow big lore even on qsmp as someone who lives in Europe 🥲
Most event for my timezone are supposed to start at 1am/midnight but often start later due to some problems (or Quackity being late /lh)
Like it's holiday for a lot of student in France so it's "fine" but lot of people also work, in September people will go back to school. Including me ! I'll go back to university for my last year !! And rn I unexpectedly found s job and I have to wake up early.
But even without all that you don't realise how bad french sleep schedule can be ! Most people I know who watch QSMP go to sleep at 4am almost everyday !
I do know some people have different inner sleep schedule, I am one of them I usually fall asleep at 1am but ugh.... It's awefull that I'll probably not see the elections results because it'll be so late and I'll have to wake up the next day ;;;;;

I think it's funny to see the difference between brazillians (or just all the latinos too lol) vs gringos reactions to the debate
It's a debate guys. You DEBATE other people opinions and they do the same. It's not a discussion between friends, it's a presidencial debate.
What happened yeasterday was the dream debate PF every brazillian. Like just see OUR elections and you will now How chaotic(not in the good way) and ridiculous it was.
In the qsmp everyone talked and was heard. Even in the open debate without a mediator and etc they had a good discussion. The brazillians were not disrespectfu. They gave the oportunity to others to talk. If they didn't, thats not on insaneduo or anyone else.
I think the problem It's that everyone is seeing the election arc trough the lenses of their reality. This is not a bad thing but make easier to misinterpreting to happen.
Brazillians are understanding insaneduo's plan because we have our own political background. While gringos are doing the same but with THEIR government.
The way the communities see political things is different:/

The French and The election :
The frenc ccs plans about the elections for those who don't follow them :
Baghera Jones : She is presenting herself alongside BBH and Forever in order to be sure at least one of the three make it to the election day, as they don't want the power falling into the wrong hands.
Aypierre : Has been up to now unsure if he's gonna run, but has a couple ideas, and is mostly a troll, so his government would most probably be corrupt if he can do all the farms and pranks he wants. He also had the idea to ally with someone who wants to run for president to help them gain the gameplay votes (he has like a hundred factory ideas that would make them top of the leaderboards almost everywhere) in exchange for some power in the shadows.
Etoiles : Unsure, mostly want to have fun, maybe a bit of pvp. Very clearly said he is not interested in the president position, but more by the TARGET TO KILL situation that comes with it. (He added out of rp that, no, he wouldn't go on a killing spree if he wasn't sure every player would still be ok and have fun with it)
Antoine Daniel : Doesn't want to be president, and honestly doesn't really WANT a president. He has been questionning EVERYONE and pointing flaws in every candidates' ideas. He is the "Why should I vote for you ?" of this election. Another post said he was doing kind of a journalist's job, wich I agree with.

Journalist: Don’t you feel that the Insoumis (political party) are using you because of what you are to get the votes from the ghetto’s youth?
Rima Hassan a Palestinian woman who is on the list of the party called France Insoumise for the European election: Your question is a bit inappropriate. I’m an adult woman I think I know what I’m doing. I did a lot of things in my life I worked as a jurist specializing in refugees’ rights. I worked on a lot of programs related to Human Rights. So when I take a decision I know what I’m doing. I know when people try to use me or when they give me a real power to act. Today which party gives a real possibility to act regarding the Palestinian subject but also more largely about human rights in general? It’s La France Insoumise.

In the United States, control-freak Republicans like Sen. Cindy Hyde-Smith tell Americans what to do with their reproductive systems.
Meanwhile, France moves one step closer to enshrining reproductive freedom in the constitution.
GOP Sen. Cindy Hyde-Smith blocks legislation protecting IVF access
French Senate votes to enshrine abortion access in the constitution after US rollback
The only way to protect reproductive freedom in the United States is to sweep Republicans out of power by voting Democratic. The GOP worked 49 years to overturn Roe v. Wade. We need to show as much tenacity and determination.
VOTE BLUE TO PROTECT ABORTION RIGHTS AND IVF.

Just checked the polls, and interestingly, there are 4 Spanish responses and none of them list a Spanish candidate in their top three choices. I don't think it's valid to make generalizations with this few results, but it is an interesting start. I'd love to get more Spanish responses.
The French responses are also the only ones where the majority is not from Tumblr, but that's also 6 people (3 answered Twitch). Also as of right now all the responses pick Baghera as their top choice.
A lot of people are also bringing up Kelp as a joke candidate, and I'm not really up on the lore about who that is.
The English form is at 91 responses, but over 80% of that is from Tumblr. I'm almost comfortable making predictions about the English vote from Tumblr at this point, which is not enough to call an election but it is something that's possible to study.
There are only 9 Portuguese responses, which is the second most, but that split is a little discouraging. I wonder if part of the problem is that I can only really do these breakdowns in English. If that's the case, I'd love to have other people do analysis in other languages.
