ok so i saw your tags about being worried about trying rottmnt since you're a huge fan of 2k3 and as someone who was in the same position I'd like to recommend it. there is a lot to love about it in terms of writing and animation! just have to adjust to the new dynamics of raph being the leader which lets leo have other interests and a different outlook. tbh it feels like a fresh take instead of a cash grab if that makes sense. no pressure of course just my 2 cents

I don't mind the boys having slight adjustments to their personalities from one universe to the next, but I was concerned because 2012 TMNT didn't really do it for me.

I didn't know they made Raph the leader! That sounds like a great idea AND a terrible idea. In 2k3 he was yes, the hot-headed anger issue one but he was also the most emotionally sensitive of the group and the quickest to cry. (also his BFF friendship with Mikey is EVERYTHING in 2k3)

I'm worried about Splinter but from what I gather they went more Uncle Iroh than Mr. Miyagi so... I guess that could work? I'm a little worried about that.

Also giving Leo something to do other than being the leader is galaxy brain tho. That boy needs a personality SO BADLY.

If anyone else was a 2k3 fan and can vouch for ROTTMNT please hit me up ;_; it's a franchise I am very attached to but BOY.... have TMNT fans had to wade through some SHIT in the past.
