Aside from some editing, my Christmas fics are all done and now I can slowly return to my main wips, so I thought I'll post a snippet from Eddie's pov in the mudslide fic (most of that part is just too spoilery and I rarely share from it, but this bit was waiting to come out for a while now, so here 🫶).

He mostly thought about Christopher; imagined him waking up in the morning, pestering Buck for breakfast and news he couldn't give, going to school and coming home, sitting at the dining table, doing his homework… Just normal things.

He would’ve given anything to be with them right now. To walk out of his room in the morning and see Buck’s sleep-rumpled face, his curls flat on top of his head, his smile lazy and crooked and his bare feet on Eddie’s living room carpet.

To watch the tattoos shift on Buck’s naked shoulders as he stretched and to hear his hoarse voice as he mumbled out a quiet “morning” on his way to the bathroom. To smell the scent of his overnight sweat still lingering on his skin while making their coffees side by side, waiting for Christopher to finally shuffle out of his room for breakfast.

To hear the sleepy mumble stifled in his own ribs as Chris gave him his good morning hug and see the toothy grin tugging at his lips as Buck entertained him throughout breakfast, making him giggle with his silly facts and jokes.

To yell “come on, we're gonna be late” at the front door as Chris ran back inside for a book he forgot and then to yell again after Chris was back but Buck just realised he had left his phone on the kitchen counter.

To sit in the car and talk about after-school plans and listen to the radio on a low volume before dropping Chris off with a hug each and then to bundle back into the truck and head to work together, barely just having enough time to stop for one of those creamy coffee monstrosities Buck liked so much — that somehow Eddie learned to like too, only if to indulge in the fantasy of what Buck’s lips would taste like on his own.

those are fighting words because i SWEAR i will finish it but Superficial. it deserves more attention because i still find the concept great i just haven’t felt drawn to it since i actually posted it unfortunately

what are your writing strengths?

i think i tend to keep things in character, or i try my best to, anyway. i think endings should pack a punch or hold some weight so i try to make everything i write have an ending i’m proud of even if i don’t like the project much overall. i think my humor is pretty good! a bit over the top in crack fics but i like it that way depending on the vibe i’m going for!

what are your writing weaknesses?

smut always feels SO awkward even though everyone says its fine i just haven’t gotten over the hump yet LOL. sometimes i feel myself losing velocity midway through and i hate that because i love when EVERY part of a story is interesting. also, internal dialogue when writing in third person / multiple points of view.

thoughts on dialogue in another language?

haven’t done it yet. kind of dread ever doing it. i think it’s great though!

can i talk about vent again. please. pretty please. i reread that one OFTEN because it blows my mind that i wrote it? it’s not fanfic-y and i love that about it (nothing wrong with that OBVIOUSLY i have no problem with ridiculous crack i just like how different it feels for me). semper fidelis remains a strong favorite because i love character studies & projecting 🩵 doors/ACM for lost because those made me feel like i was on fire when writing.

Hi there :-) What's your favourite of your own fics? What would you recommend to a reader and why?

Hello dear Anon! Sorry for the delay in answering.

To pick a favorite would be impossible, I love so many of my stories so much, which is why I've been writing the majority of them so many years. So I'm going to gush about my favorites, and why you should check them all out, haha.

To recommend to a reader, it would depend on what you enjoy.

I'm always pushing people to read Stardust. It's got so many good issues tied up in it, I feel like it could benefit people to read such a storyline, but, I know some people are not into the idea of transgender storylines, which, Stardust features pretty heavily. (In the same vein, there's also Screw Stardust, which is the same base storyline, only I've flipped who is trans, which is a WIP, but, I also love it so much)

If you want more canonverse Clexa, I just finished Depths of Love (which I assume is how you've found me, haha). It's unlike any of my other AUs, and has such an amazing idea. Like, I can not get over the storyline, and honestly, would love to see how one of the other talented writers in the fandom would write the same idea. I can not get over the fact it hasn't been done before, and a very special thanks to @sassymajesty for giving me the inspiration to finish it (three years later, but, oh well).

Then I'd say if you want soft and a lot of fluff, check out Softball. It's nowhere close to done, and I don't know if it will ever be, but it's such a soft idea of high school kids growing up and dealing with challenges and Clexa realizing their feelings for each other. It's honestly my most detailed fic, I have like, five pages worth of outlining for it, and a chapter by chapter guide set up, but it's just finding the time and the motivation to write it.

Then, if you're in the mood for some smut, I'd recommend Create Stardust. It's not really a fic, just a future of Screw Stardust (An AU of Stardust, haha) and it does feature Transgender Clarke, which, again, isn't for everybody, but, I think it's just so soft and one of my most beautifully written pieces. And, it's pretty hot, if I do say so myself, haha.

And then, (last rec, I swear) I would say Not the End if you want some angst. Lots of angst, and lots to come. It's a WIP, and nowhere close to done. Starts off full of confusion and hardships, and then realizes the truth, and trying to make sense and understand it from both sides. I don't think enough people start it with an open mind, and are too quick to hate Clarke, but, yeah. It's so fun writing this storyline and seeing how these complex characters deal with their impossible situations. It's not my best writing, but I'm enjoying it.

Then, last but not least, ones that are my favorites, but I wouldn't recommend as a reader (but I'm more than willing to gush about). Keep Holdin' On - This is angst city. It's so sad and I wrote it about 20 different times whenever I just needed a good cry. Not a deep story, but damn, it tugs at the heartstrings, well, mine at least. Not a lady - Game of Thrones AU. It's very different and very fun to write, but I have no idea how to tie my idea's together. I want Clarke to be so much more than a whore, but I have no idea how to make that fit into the GOT universe without changing everything about it. I've got a few ideas, but, I wouldn't recommend waiting around for me to figure it out, haha. Traitors - Harry Potter AU. I LOVE this idea. Griffins vs Woods. Griffins known for, well, Griffindor, and Woods are known for Slytherin, and Clexa coming in and BOTH of them 'ruining' their family's reputation? Clarke, who's always thought of herself as better than, always seen Slytherin as evil, slowly coming to realize, when she's placed into Slytherin, that maybe, things aren't always black and white? Poor baby Lexa, who was already the outcast in her family, giving them even more reason, now a Griffindor. GAH, just talking about it makes me wanna write it, honestly. I need to sit down and make a plan for a story, more than just them being little gay beans (or do I? Honestly, do I?)

6. dumb little writing please?

The premise for this is actually that Karasuma goes on dates with Takayama to try and teach him how to be a good boyfriend for someone (Aka Karasuma trying to help out Umino) but it ends up just becoming a fake dating AU sprinkled with Karasuma pining at max level. :)

“Aren’t you ever going to get a haircut?”

Takayama stills, blinks.

“It’s gotten very long, you know.” Karasuma continues.

“Your hair has gotten long, too.”

Karasuma instinctively brushes a lock behind his own ear. The back of his head is probably getting shoulder length now, but he’s been keeping it in a ponytail too often to check.

“I’m growing it out.” He may need to cut it soon, though. Sagisawa said it looked like a mullet. “But my hair isn’t bad.”

“My hair’s not... bad.”

“It's pretty bad.” Karasuma states bluntly. “If you don’t trim it soon it’s just going to topple on top of itself like a mop. Just a trim won’t hurt!”

“...Okay.”

“Here, sit down.” Karasuma gestures to the floor near his bed, before picking up a comb and scissors. Takayama obliges.

“You don’t use products or anything, right?” He states, as he climbs onto his bed and positions himself behind Takayama.

“No.”

“See, that’s so weird to me.” He grabs the comb. ”Like, how does your hair even stay up-“ The comb immediately hits a knot. “Whuh.” Okay, he should have expected a knot or two. But that’s okay, he can deal with that later. He moves to another section, and somehow is greeted by another, larger knot. He tries tugging it gently, but Takayama lets out a slightly pained grunt. “What the fuck.” Maybe it’s just on base of his spikes, surely his whole head isn’t-

His whole head is matted. He has maybe a few inches near the base of his skull that are free, but the rest is unsalvageable and Karasuma is pretty sure saw a twig lodged in there.

“Takayama.”

“...” The younger teen refuses to look at the other.

“We probably need to chop off most of this.”

“.......”

“Takayama.”

“.............”

“Hey. Speak.”

“Do what you have to.” He sounds dejected.

“I’ll try to salvage what I can.” Karasuma promises. He grabs the scissors and lines it up to the first matted spike, hesitating before snipping it off in a fell swoop. It lands in Takayama’s lap. He tries not to give Takayama the time to grieve (or back out), working his way from the outside of his hair towards his scalp, trying to comb out and keep as much hair as possible.

Minutes later and Karasuma finally gets to a point where there are no more knots. Takayama’s hair is now very mismatched in length, so he sets to work, delicately grabbing locks and trimming. Occasionally he musses up Takayama’s hair with his fingers, sees where it lands and checks for spots of excess length. He thinks he hears Takayama hum during those moments, but waves it off.

Once satisfied with his work, the older teen glances at the floor to take a peek at the hair massacre.

“I had a lot more hair than I thought.” Takayama states.

“You still have hair, you’re not bald like Kamoda.” Takayama’s hair was still very noticeably short. Definitely shorter than Karasuma’s, and probably considered a buzz cut. Still, there’s enough hair that Takayama’s hair can still spike sporadically in the air. Takayama turns around to look at him, and Karasuma has to think really hard about not blushing. The haircut definitely works on him. He grabs his phone and flips the camera so Takayama can look at it himself. Takayama stares a bit, pats the top of his head a bit, before letting his hand drop.

“Does it look okay?”

“It looks fine.” Karasuma says it a bit too fast, and he thinks he’s failing at the whole “not blushing” thing.

“I can’t remember the last time my hair was this short.” Takayama says, grabbing a strand from his head and attempting to look at it. His “bangs” (if they could even be called that) were sacrificed in the hair cutting process.

Karasuma’s hands still tingle from cutting Takayama’s hair, and the memory of his short spiky hair bristling against his palms lingers. Lifting up from where it rests on a knee, his right hand somehow ends up back in Takayama’s hair, ruffling it slightly. “It’ll be easier to take care of this way, anyways.”

“Mm.” And he’s staring at Karasuma, again.

14: a fic I didn't expect to write

* I have two here actually.

The Rotten Apple 🍎 was the first. It's a spin off of the first series I ever completed called Their Hidden Pain.  Both are very dark in nature. The Rotten Apple 🍎 has cameos of my previous Evil Drake character, but take a step further, as Ellie in this AU is Drake's biological daughter, and Liam is raising her as his. I started it on a whim, and it definitely is not going as I planned, and is evolving in a way I definitely didn't forsee. As I am introducing the fandom world to my take on an Evil Ellie.

And So...We Met is the second. This has both Liam and Riley in relationships with other people when they meet. Liam is actually engaged to Hana, (which Riley doesn't find out until later) and Riley is dating Drake. It's a college centered AU and Liam is a professor at Riley's university.

Gah!!!!!!!! You had to go there! I have so many in progress between so many AU's right now. I have 13 current chapters across all my fics in progress right now. I really need a intern or a schedule, or infinite time off work with pay of course! I'd love to get these finished and posted, including an idea for another new series that I've been flirting with.

19. Any new fics to start next year

The Blue Honey Cafe. I would really like to start it when I have finished some of my other series that are close to completion.

I have been toying with this idea centered around a cafe. Mason a new OC of mine, and is a potential love interest, and Riley has just started going to his restaurant. Liam will make an appearance as well. Here's a little snippet for you:

And then there was her. She had no usual and every time she frequented the establishment, she would always look over the menu as if for the very first time. With an embarrassed smile, she explained that everything sounded so good.

She was new to the Blue Honey Cafe, with a bright smile and still wore her Hartfeld Heels lanyard around her neck. She was fresh out of college, eagerly looking to take on the next step in her journey, adult life.

"Well no rush, when you're ready, you know where I'll be." Mason smiled at the beautiful young woman.

“I’m Riley. You seem to know everyone by name.”

“Okay Riley. Now that I know your name, I won't forget it.” How could he forget the name of someone as beautiful as her?

Riley side-stepped out of the line to continue looking at the menu. She was interrupted a few minutes later while she was still perusing the menu, still undecided by a handsome stranger.

“Excuse me miss, are you in line?”

“No, still trying to figure out what I want, apparently not doing a good job at it.”

“Mason should recommend something for you, everything is great here.”

“Liam, great to see you back in town!”

“Hopefully to stay this time, California really wasn’t for me.”

“What was wrong with California?” Riley inquired. “I’ve always wanted to go to California. And see the sights I’ve only seen in movies and on television.”

“I totally get that part of California, and honestly nothing is wrong with it, but I’m a southern boy. You just can’t get decent sweet tea in California or grits. I saw someone put sugar in their grits Mason.”

Mason chuckled loudly. “Yeah we don’t serve our grits here with sugar. Our sugar is for our coffee and tea here, not our grits.”

—a complete surprise! I actually went off and worked on my lucathy turned tables wip! look at me! like I really went to the doc and wrote some lines…. utterly amazing. the problem: no fucking clue on where I’m actually going to head with fic or how to end it, so I got stuck, again. I should probs actually plan this out….

—I have been in Big Touken mood these past days and I had the great itch to work on stuff and finally did today! GAH I LOVE THEM SO MUCH SOBS UGLY AND INCONTROLLABLE they are so !!! so I worked on forehead kisses wip, first and finally worked out this bit that I have been struggles with! exciting! I also have plans to how to actually continue it… and of course, I did run into a lil problem part. I love this lil wip so much it’s so silly and perfect aaaa

—worked on the touken kisses part two! whoo hoo! I’m so excited! FINALLY I HAVE also im crying again because god touken!!!! I love them so so so much sobs this one actually went real smooth! which was pleasant thing. also big golden star to me because I actually persevered and worked on it more! IT MIGHT ACTUALLY GET FINISHED TODAY but let’s not get ahead of ourselves

—to take a lil break I thought to work on another wip, which turned out to be the touken prompt one and well. this one didn’t go as well, but i did stuff! Editing mostly.

—came across the could you take me wip and had enough and edited it and posted it. and FINALLY started writing the second part!!! well……..I tried to. I did start it!! but then deleted that sentence because it didn’t work and then, got distracted by other stuff and before I knew… it was the end of the day. whelp.

Usually, yeah. Not if it’s just a heart of a single word comment, though. Not that I don’t appreciate those comments, there’s just not really anything to respond to. If someone does it on every chapter of a longer fic, I might go like “thanks for taking the time to comment!” on one of them to show that I appreciate it.

6) what’s the fic you’ve written with the angstiest ending?

Hmm, I’m more of a hurt/comfort than outright angst sort of guy... particularly in terms of endings, I really like things to be really angsty but then end on that note of “things are going to be okay”?

That said, it’s probably In Other Circumstances, a fic based on the movie Joyeux Noël, which is already fairly angsty, given the subject matter (that time during WW1 opposing armies celebrated Christmas together). That, or the Dumbledore fic To Be At Peace.

7) do you write crossovers? if so what is the craziest one you’ve written?

Not really. I do have a little bit of a Les Mis/Order of the Phoenix mash-up where Dumbledore’s Army do a student activism after Dumbledore is sacked (Lamarque is dead!) lying around somewhere, but I think that’s about it. God, that was a good idea though. I should get back on that some day.

8) have you ever received hate on a fic?

I think I once got one from a terf on that trans!Harry one but it was pretty vague lol

9) do you write smut? if so what kind?

Yeah, occasionally. I have a lot of kinks in the bdsm area of things, so that’s always pretty apparent in the smut I write. I just think power dynamics are sexy lmao

A lot of the smut I’ve written is original work stuff though, so that’s not up in the same place as my fanfic.

Yes, Just Like That was translated into Chinese.

I’ve also personally translated a Odin/Loki fic I wrote in Danish into English. Fun fact, it’s way harder to translate than if I’d written it in English in the first place. I like to write fic in Danish where it makes sense to, though.

Nope. I’ve partcipated in events where I’ve drawn and the other person written, but never co-written. Frankly I’m not even sure how that works.

13) what’s your all-time favourite ship?

Gah, idk. All-time, huh? I shift between fandoms too much for that.

Obviously I ship Enjolras/Grantaire a lot and have for a long time, but then I’m also super particular about what I want that to look like lol.

I still really love Sirius/Remus even after all these years. Disco Elysium’s Harry/Kim deserves mention here as well, although that’s a lot newer, so it’s difficult to talk about in an “all-time” sense.

Despite not really caring about any aspect of Marvel anymore, I also still really love Matt/Foggy from the Netflix version of Daredevil.

14) what’s a WIP that you want to finish but don’t think you ever will?

A lot of unposted stuff 😂 Maybe once I finish Elysium I’ll pick one of those up again... If it’s a wip I care about, I won’t start posting it till I have a good sense that I’ll continue being able to update.

15) what are your writing strengths?

Hmm, I think I’m good at inserting myself into the mindset of the protagonist. This is also why I practically never write alternating pov, I’m filtering everything through that protagonist so shifting around would be harder. Dialogue tends to come easily to me as well.

16) what are your writing weaknesses?

Descriptions, moving characters around in space in particular. On a more meta level, plotting things out to the right degree where I still actually want to write it but I’m also going in a particular direction. Just... plot, in general, really.

17) what are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?

Generally speaking, if my character speaks the language in question, the dialogue will be rendered in the same language as the rest of the text with a dialogue tag like “he said in German” or w/e. If they do not, the dialogue will be rendered in the actual language being spoken.

Of course this is also hugely guided but what languages I personally speak. I will never use google translate for something like that because I personally find it infuriating when people do that lmao. It’s like saying “Hey, you, who actually speak this language? This isn’t for you. Fuck you. This is just here for flavor. Surely no-one who actually speaks this language will ever come across this.” I’m sure that’s not what most people who do that are thinking, but that’s what it feels like to read. So I won’t do that.

I can’t recall if I’ve done this in anything that’s up anywhere, but if I wanted to include a foreign phrase I would either use Danish, use triple checked German or ask someone I know who speak a given language about the phrase in that language. Or, you know, just use an established quote.

An exception is Latin, particularly for Les Mis fic, where I follow the brick’s habit of rendering Latin untranslated, despite the pov character understanding it (but again, these are always established phrases).

If I wrote something in Danish taking place in the modern day, I would render English untranslated as well, since that is just how young Danes talk and I can assume that 99.99% of potential readers will be able to understand it either way (this, I think we can assume, is also what was going on with Latin at the time Hugo was writing).

18) what was the first fandom you wrote for?

Probably Harry Potter. That, or Avatar: The Last Airbender. I don’t really remember. The first thin I put on FFnet was certainly Harry Potter, though.

19) what’s your favourite fic you’ve written?

Predictably it’s On the Path to Elysium. As I’ve mentioned before, I wasn’t really able to write long things before Elysium. Most of my fics are oneshots and while I really like oneshots, I had long been frustrated that I never managed to get any of my longer ideas off the ground. Elysium represents a lot of growth for me as a writer.

Apart from that, like I said, I’m still very fond of Just Like That, if nothing else then because I wrote it in an emulation of how the game itself is written.

Honestly, no idea, I’ve never given it that much thought - that being said, one of my favorite hilariously impractical ships are Ventress/Obi. They flirt way too much.

17. Describe a fic that is still in the ‘ideas’ stage.

Gah, there’s so many. But here’s one that I think will take precedent above the others after I finish DC.

Togruta culture series! I’ve been greatly inspired by fialleril’s Tatooine Slave Culture series and I wanted to do one for the people of Shili. I’ve only delved mildly into it in Disconnected Conduit with mentions of the fae-like Ase, but after I’m done with that fic, I really do hope to write a bunch of fics on Togruta culture in a fialleril-tales-of-tatooine style. 

Others I’d like to mention: a full-length fic of Fractured twists, a Sith AU I never flushed out fully, a one-shot where Ahsoka lands on Tatooine during her time with the rebellion, and others that haven’t even progressed to the “write-down-the-idea” stage.

Aria opened her mouth and paused, before closing it again.

"Zào Fortuna has got spots right?."

"Wait were you trying to aim a pun at her, but then forgot if she had spots?

"Uh, maybe..."

"Dude, you're an idiot in every sense of the word."

Aria hung her head.

"...I know."

"That's nice."

Aria threw a pillow at her before exploding in a fit of giggles.

"Mooncaaaake! You're supposed to give me a hug and say sorry!"

Marinette sighed and blew her nails before turning to look at Aria.

"We both know how that goes down."

Aria sighed and stood up.

"Have you heard from Adrien in the past few days?"

"You know what? I haven't."

"Last time I talked to him, he told me he got a boyfriend."

"He did? Why didn't I know about that?"

"Babe, weren't you on the other line?"

"Uh... I think I fell asleep."

"Wow. You really need to stop staying up all night on commissions."

"Speaking of, any news about that stuff?"

"Well, from what I've heard, my little sister from another mister is traveling to Gotham because her fashion business has taken off. 'The mysterious designer MDC has bypassed Gabriel Agreste in the polls!' 

"Well, what you heard is true-'

"I also heard that you get to stay in Wayne Manor and bring a friend. Maybe Sabine?"

"What? And risk her finding out that I parade around the city in spots every night? No thanks."

"Hm. Chloe?"

"The invitation would be wasted. She's already going to Gotham with her mom."

"What about Alya?"

"Since 2 heroes will be out of commission, Rena is going to be needed here."

"I don't know."

Aria collapsed on the bed with a groan before sitting up and smirking.

"Lila."

"Okay. Your guessing privileges have been revoked."

"Noooooo! How else will I find out who you're going to take?!"

"By asking. Like a normal person."

"How dare you assume that I'm normal."

"Now I'm beginning to wonder if I should actually tell you."

"Okay, okay! I'll shut up! Just please tell me who, so I don't have to stay up till 3, guessing."

"I wanted to ask you."

"Uh, I will give you an entire list of reasons why I shouldn't come. Plus, I don't really think they'd let me bring the cat."

"I'm asking right now, and if they say no, then I'll politely decline the invitation."

"I don't want you to miss out-"

"They replied!"

"What? Let me see!"

Aria scrambled off the chaise and scurried over to Marinette, tripping in the process. 

"Wait! Let me get up!"

Aria jumped up and stumbled into the desk.

Marinette clicked the email and recited it aloud.

"Dear MDC, your friend's cat will be allowed. If you need to arrange anything to bring your cat on the plane, please do not hesitate to ask.

 Aria squealed and hugged Marinette.

"Ok. If we can start packing now, I'll come with you." 

"Why do we have to pack now? The trip isn't until Saturday and it's only Wednesday! Can't we just enjoy the first sleepover we've had in a month?"

"Babe, please? I hate procrastinating."

"What are you talking about? You love procrastinating!"

"I don't love it, It just happens to be my default."

"Same difference!"

"Um, no, not the same difference."

"Nyah."

"Dante. I am begging you. Don't turn off the computer yet."

"Aria. it's almost 1 A.M and we both have class tomorrow."

"I knoooow! But I put my fucking heart into this, and if you turn it off right now, it will delete and I have no way of saving it."

"Aria. Go to bed now."

"Nooooo! I have to finish it!"

"Fine. But as soon as the clock gets to 1. I'm turning everything off. Just because you're my favorite doesn't mean I'll let you get away with anything."

"Boi! I let you get away with so many things! Can I not just stay up for another hour to finish a damn design?!"

"Aria?"

"Hi, Minette."

"Are you gonna stay up again while binge-ing on coffee?"

"Maybe..."

"Marinette. Please tell my idiot sister that she needs sleep too."

"Aria-"

"Noooo! My favorites are teaming up to defeat me!"

"Aria. Go. To. Bed."

"No!"

Aria jumped up, seized the computer, shot into the bathroom.

"Ha! Now you can't stop me from finishing this!"

"Okay. I give up. Marinette, she's yours now."

Dante slowly backed out of the kitchen with his arms raised.

"Aria. Come out. Please. It's not a sleepover if it's only one person. Plus I need someone to binge-watch movies with!"

"...What kind of movies?"

"Um, MIB International, Charlie's Angels, Hanna, Atomic Blonde, La Femme Nikita-"

"I'm in. Just give me a second."

The sound of shuffling around could be heard in the unusually silent house. The bathroom door opened to show a dark room a few seconds later, and Aria emerged holding a closed laptop.

"I thought it wasn't going to save?"

"Yeah uh, I lied. I just wanted to keep working."

"Geez. I bet you'll be the only person in Gotham like this."

"Well, I do try to be unique!"

"Okay, we need to finish packing."

"But what about the movies?!"

"We'll watch them while we pack."

"Yay!"

Five movies and two panic attacks later:

"Mooncake! Do you know where my-"

"Beanie? Downstairs in the tardis."

"Oh my gosh, thank you! I need to take a shower, are you almost finished packing?"

"Yeah, two more outfits and I'll be done."

"Kay. My phone is charging next to the window, the password is 314159, the flashy purple app turns on the TV."

With that, Aria walked out of the room and shut the door. Not even 2 minutes later, the sound of running water could be heard, along with the song 'Consideration' blasting through the house. Marinette shook her head and laughed.

"Geez Ari. Too loud."

Marinette folded the last outfit and placed it in her suitcase. Walking over to the window, she was attacked by Aria’s cat.

“Ack! Get off!”

Marinette started to try and shake the cat off and Kiro released her leg. She jumped onto the bed and yanked her legs up to avoid any further scratches. The door slammed open to reveal a soaking wet Aria in a towel. She still had soap bubbles in her hair and it had stuck to her face while she was running.

“I heard a screech! Is everything okay?”

Marinette stared for a second longer before laughing so hard she fell off the bed.

“OH MY GOSH! Did you just- holy crap! The cat just jumped on me!”

“...are you freaking kidding me? I literally jumped out of the shower to see what in the world was going on. I thought you were being abducted.”

“I’m so sorry! I just-” Marinette collapsed into another fit of giggles.

“Okay, since you’re obviously fine, I’m gonna go finish my shower. Next time, don’t screech unless it’s an emergency. Now my clothes are wet because of my idiocy. Goodbye, Little Missy Macaron.”

Aria walked out of the room, leaving Marinette to try and clean up the water mess. She just threw a towel over the puddle.

Aria walked into the bathroom while shaking her head slowly. She picked up her phone and pressed shuffle on her playlist. Once again, a song started blasting through the house.

Marinette grabbed Aria’s phone and unlocked it. She pressed the purple icon that Aria had told her about and clicked the red power button at the top. Nothing happened.

Right. The TV is downstairs.

Marinette sighed and checked under the bed before leaving the safety of the mattress. She picked up her two suitcases and took them downstairs. 5 minutes later, the sound of gunshots and suspenseful music coming from the living room rivaled the pop music coming from the upstairs bathroom.

Dante, Evita, and Armando came home to three girls shouting and running around, with another standing off to the side and filming. Chloe and Alya had come over to help after Aria had gotten out of the shower. Though it quickly turned into Chloe chasing Aria around and trying to get her to put on some clothes that weren’t covered in paint, and Alya filming Marinette freaking out about losing her deodorant.

“Dante! I stole your Pikachu boxers because they were in my drawers!” Aria ran past him, a disgruntled Chloe in hot pursuit.

“Why do I care?”

“Just thought you should know in case you start looking for them while I’m gone!”

“Speaking of being gone, shouldn’t you guys get going? Your flight leaves in 4 hours.”

“Crap! Evita! Do you have work soon? Can you drive us to the airport?”

“Can’t you guys just bike?”

Aria stopped and stared at Evita incredulously. Chloe didn't slow down quick enough and slammed both girls into the ground.

“Okay, we have like, 4 bags each, and the airport is like 45 miles away. ”

“Okay. I’ll take you, but I do have to work soon so we have to go now.”

“Okay. Akiv! Stop! Do you have your bags?”

“Yes, Ari.”

“Mooncake! Are you ready?”

“I NEED DEODORANT.”

“We can get some at the airport.”

“GAH! Okay, fine. Let’s go.”

The three girls ran to give Alya a hug before they left.

“Bye Als! Love you!”

“Adios, Vixen! Te Quiero!”

“Salut Alya!”

ONE EXCRUCIATINGLY LONG CAR RIDE LATER:,

Marinette, Aria, and Chloe stepped out of the Envoy and took their bags out of the trunk.

“Zai Jian, Evita! Wǒ ài nǐ!”

“Adios Mija! Te Quiero mucho!”

Aria gave Evita a hug before slinging her book bag and purse over her shoulder and pulling her suitcase over to the entrance. The girls watched the car drive off before turning and walking into the airport.

“Ay Dios Mio…”

“What?”

“Look at the lines!” Aria gestured over to about fifty people standing in front of a counter.

“Oh, mon Dieu.” 

“Um, no. Look at your tickets. We have first-class. Which is the line over there.” Chloe pointed over to a short line with only a few people.

“Oh, thank goodness.” Marinette sighed as she scanned over her plane ticket.

“Wait, really?” Aria scrambled for the small slip of paper in her wallet, accidentally dropping it.

A young male, probably around 15, picked it up. He smiled and held it out to her.

“Here you go, m’lady”

“Thanks, bro,” Aria grunted.

The boy froze for only a second, but it was long enough for her to pluck the leather contraption out of his hand and walk away with the other girls. When they were out of earshot, they all burst out laughing.

“Oh my gosh! Did you see his face when you called him ‘bro’?!”

“That was hilarious,” Aria wiped tears from her eyes.

“Welp, now we know how she keeps guys away.” 

“Who knew it was so simple?”

“No. It’s simple for me. I am the Goddess of repellent. You two are mere mortals.”

“She’s right! Oh, Great One! We are unworthy of your presence, but we beg to learn your ways!” Marinette got down on one knee, with one hand over her heart and the other being held out to Aria.

“Oh, get up Mooncake. They’re looking at us crazy again.” Chloe pulled the smaller girl onto her feet and ruffled her hair.

Marinette giggled, then bowed and took Aria’s hand. 

“I am forever indebted to you for teaching me.” She kissed the brunette’s hand before standing up straight again.

“Mooncake, I love you, but that was the weirdest thing you’ve ever done.”

“Thanks, Abelle.”

“No problem babe.”

Aria rolled her eyes. 

“Next!”

The girls looked up to see it was their turn in line.

“Please place your bags in the designated area.” The lady behind the desk gestured to a wire container.

Marinette looked to the side and placed her suitcase into the basket. The other girls quickly followed suit.

“Names?”

“Marinette Dupain-Cheng.”

“Aria Couture.”

“Chloe Bourgeois.”

The lady typed their names into the computer before waving them away. Marinette saw the dull look in her eyes and pulled out 3 macarons before whispering something and smiling.

“Excuse me, Madame? Here are a few macarons. I hope you have a nice day!” 

Marinette picked up her bags and walked away with her friends. She didn’t miss the small smile that appeared on the woman’s face.

“So, what’d you do to the cookies?”

“Let’s just say the rest of her week will be much better.”

“Minette, I have absolutely no idea what you're implying, and at this point, I'm too scared to ask.”

“This is why I hate flying. I’m already exhausted and we haven’t even been at the airport for 2 hours.” Marinette groaned.

“We’re done with all the security stuff, and our suitcases are already boarding the plane, which basically means we can currently do whatever we want. And don’t you still need deodorant?”

“Ugh. You’re right. Let’s go.”

Aria grinned and walked towards a sandwich restaurant.

“Aria, where are you going? The toiletries place is over there.” Marinette pointed to a little kiosk next to the bathrooms.

“Come on. You didn’t really think we would get deodorant before we got food, did you?”

“...I am kind of hungry…”

“Let’s go then!”

Aria grabbed Marinette’s right hand and Chloe’s left hand and yanked them over to the restaurant.

“Flight Number 763, First class, Now boarding.”

Aria jolted awake at the sound of the announcement. She looked over at Chloe and Marinette sleeping peacefully and contemplated waking them up. She'd rather not lose an eye, or two.

Chloe woke up as the brunette picked up a small pink bookbag.

“Good morning Chlo,” Aria yawned.

“...hi Ari.”

Grabbing all of their backpacks, she took the tickets and passports out and walked over to the admittance booth.

“Tickets please."

“Here,” Aria handed him all three tickets and passports.

 Aria looked up at the man in the booth.

“Can we go in or do you need sleeping beauty over here to confirm something,” Aria pointed at Marinette.

“Um. You can go in…”

“Thanks, have a nice day!”

The girls walked to the plane and found their seats quickly. Chloe helped Aria set Marinette down and put the carry-on bags in the capsules above them. Both girls fell back asleep about 10 minutes after they buckled up.

5. Perfect Harmony in a Stranger’s World (Merlin BBC, Elyan/Percival, 17846 words)

When Arthur and Gwen leave to attend a conference in Nemeth, Elyan is appointed Regent and tasked with running the kingdom while they're away.  But between disputes over a chicken, lords who never liked Arthur's common born knights, and others who will do anything to gain his approval, Elyan finds he barely has time to even think.

But luckily for him, Percival is right there with open arms and ears, and maybe an open heart as well.

Written for the Merlin Rarepair Swap, I was EXTREMELY EXCITED when I got my recipient because they requested two ships I had been meaning to write for: Percival/Elyan and Gwen/Arthur.  I admit that this didn’t have as much Gwen/Arthur as I had originally hoped, but it was really fun getting a chance to write from Elyan’s POV and to explore how characters would react to a situation if Arthur, Gwen, Merlin, and Leon aren’t around lol

4. I Draw Back the Veil and I Say a Prayer (Merlin BBC, Gen, 848 words)

Gwaine blinked after them.  What were they fighting over?  Why hadn’t they closed the rift yet?

And what did they mean-?

A cold feeling sunk over him and his heart skipped a beat.

Human sacrifice had opened it.

Was that what it would take to close it?

ANGST.  THIS IS JUST - NOTHING BUT ANGST. I had had the idea for a few months, but I couldn’t think of a way to stop myself from turning it into a giant WIP.

Then inspiration struck: just have it from the POV of the person who is dead at the end.  Bam.  Can’t keep going if they’re dead alskdjflaksdjflkasdf.  So I sat down and wrote this in an hour and a half - which is a MIRACLE for me because I’ve had fics that are this long that I have had sitting around for MONTHS because I haven’t finished them yet alksdjflkjasdf

(Also, and this is just between you and I, I’m hoping to do a Merlin/Lancelot follow-up fic to this one.  But no promises lol)

3. In Eyes Once Familiar (Merlin BBC, Merlin/Gwaine, 3091 words)

The plan was simple: make his way through the lower town to reach the citadel, position himself to climb the walls during the changing of the dusk guard, enter silently through the window to approach the target from behind, a quick slit of his throat, before leaving the way he came with no one the wiser until they found the body.

In, out, done.

It should have been easy.

So why then, as the assassin stood at the gates into the lower town, did he feel an impending sense of unease about the task set before him?  Why then, as he stepped through the gates and into the city, did he feel like he should go somewhere else within this city first?  See someone else first?

MORE ANGST.  BUT THIS ONE DOESN’T RESULT IN ANYONE DYING :D 

(At least...no one over the course of the fic itself 😶)

This one definitely has room to follow-up/continue, and I do have a couple ideas, but we’ll just have to wait and see.  I was doubly excited because the song I have titled this one after is one of my favorites, and I was ECSTATIC at the chance to finally use it for a fic.

2. The Coronation of the Once and Future Queen (Merlin BBC, Arthur/Gwen, Art)

An experiment with art: I wanted to see if I could digitally create something that looked like stained glass.  It took a lot of finagling and a lot of going over things over and over, but I FIGURED IT OUT :D  And what better thing to depict first than Gwen’s coronation?  I am still very proud of this, and it is by far my post popular work here on Tumblr

1. A Time of Joy (Merlin BBC, Arthur/Gwen, 5588 words)

Gwen’s lip quirked – ever patient even when her husband was being dense.  “I suppose for now.  And for the next few months.  And maybe again in the future, if we’re lucky.”

Arthur still looked confused.

But then his eyes widened in sudden understanding, and he glanced between her face and her stomach multiple times.  “You mean – you’re-?”

Ironically, this one isn’t Merwaine :OOOOO.  WHAT?? Shocker I know - if you’ve talked to me about Merlin for five minutes you know Merwaine is my OTP yet SOMEHOW my fave fic I’ve written in the last year isn’t about them alksdjflkjasdf.

But, it’s about my second favorite ship so close enough 😆

Also written for the Merlin Rarepair Swap, with my recipient requesting Arthur/Gwen and Merlin & Gwen.  I find myself rereading this one at least every couple weeks.  Just GAH Arthur and Gwen getting to finally be parents, a soft Golden Age AU - IT’S SOFT OKAY and I love it and them 🥺

1) How old were you when you first starting writing fanfiction?

Oof.  12 ish? FFNet But we don’t speak about it; the site or the writing :P

2) What fandoms do you write for and do you have a particular favourite if you write for more than one?

Right now, I’m more invested in aokise / knb fandom and well, once invested, it’s hard to pull my focus :P Other fandoms I’m interested in writing in as of the moment are Owari No Seraph (Gureshin :P) and Seven Deadly Sins (man, that’s lovely hell)

3) Do you prefer writing OC’s or reader inserts? Explain your answer.

Probably OCs? I haven’t written OC’s in a while but heck, reader inserts sounds kinda of awkward to write :P

4) What is your favourite genre to write for?

…is angst with a happy ending a genre?(Otherwise maybe coming of age?)

5) If you had to choose a favourite out of all of your multi chaptered stories, which would it be and why?

Blurred Lines is the only one that has an actual plot :P and is multi chaptered :P. It’s also got a couple of my favorite tropes such as mutual pining & simultaneous obliviousness. To be honest, I normally don’t edit my works before I put them out (sometimes I’ll get a loving friend to look at it tho :PPPPPP) because I can’t bear reading what I’ve written without cringing, but yeah, I thought Blurred Lines was pretty good :D in terms of writing skill because I’ve been able to read it again aha and I thank all the wonderful people who showered me the work with compliments.

6) If you had to delete one of your stories and never speak of it again, which would it be and why?

LMAO WHAT MAKES YOU THINK I HAVEN’T ALREADY? If I delete stories, it’s always for the reason I’m disappointed with it in hindsight, or xD embarrassed I produced such poo.

7) When is your preferred time to write?

Night time becuz I like to procrastinate, it’s quiet and the dark is cozy.

8) Where do you take your inspiration from?

Other writers/stories, canon material, music, random insights at odd times, prompts sparked by single words or little phrases, prompts from sites or book quotes or from friends and epiphanies, and then mostly I don’t :P 

9) In your Blurred Lines fic, what’s your favourite scene that you wrote?

Chapter 5, the (two I guess?) scene where Aomine’s really upset and Kise makes it his job to take his mind off of it; it’s a memorable moment for both of them because Kise’s determination and hard work really gets to show (SEIRIN GAH; jskghjkghg sg lgsg gsjlsd) in front of two people that mean a lot: himself and Aomine, and for Aomine, it’s an example of how he can be weak and injured too, and is so much more than some give him credit for.

10) In your fic, why did you decide to end it like that? Did you have an alternative ending in mind? Nah, I really liked how it ended actually :) Happy after endings are my favorite :)

11) Have you ever amended a story due to criticisms you’ve received after posting it?

I’ve only gotten harsh criticism once or twice and man, you should’ve seen me RAWRR in their faces :P. Sometimes self criticism- ex: dislike of plot- will get me to edit though; and then there are just times where I’ve been lazy but reading the work, I’ll see flaws that definitely have to be changed and will proceed to do so.

12) Who is your favourite character to write for? Why?

Aomine and Kise are the most fun imo. I go wild with both because of the complexity to both their characters and simply, the inspiration you can see from different works of other authors (Ex: MoustachePenguin wrote JustBreathe with Kise who had crushing depression and KaijosCopyCat wrote When It Rains, It Rains Bullets, where Kise is actually more jaded than Aomine is); point being said, there’s enough material to make a lot reasonable.Kise is fun for his masks and layers; Aomine is great for his relativity. And of course, you can always find a way to knit in angst of some sort :P 

13) Who is your least favourite character to write for? Why?

Lots man. Kuroko, Murasakibara-

14) How did you come up with the title for the xxx? - You can ask about multiple stories. 

SO. Remember how it was planned as a one-shot aha :P I’d gotten 3 chapters and ½ written out before I said screw it and posted them before gradually working on the rest :P 

Anyways, I’d only then finished on a final summary, and with one of the parts being “Lines Blurring”, I thought heck let’s roll with that.

Oh also! Had a hard time getting that summary out. gotta thank my special, one and only snowflake.

15) If you write OC’s, how do you decide on their names?

- Likes to indulge myself; I’ll base OCs of some real characters, then twinkle with the name little bit, maybe adding extra letters or finding names with similar meanings?

- It also has to do with how the name tastes. You know how some words just flow better? (Connotation and all that :P) but like, Jewel over Gem, Crystal over Jewel, Ruby over Everything, etc. etc. etc. etc. etc.

16) How did you come up with the idea for xxx?

Was a prompt- (voldetort :P)

but i was given an open ending option and then i took it and ran with it and turned it into angst with happy ending :P

18) Do you have any abandoned WIP’s? What made you abandon them?

Yah, who doesn’t? :PP (atop of the temporarily abandoned WIPs :PPP) Either loss of enthusiasm, lack of ability (time, but mostly procrastination :P) to write, or post-insights that lemme realize the story is unsatisfying to the point of repulsive :P

19) Are there any stories that you’ve written that you’d really love to do a sequel to?

Maybe Blurred Lines? Struggle them through 2nd year of school, relationship where it’s so much more precious than a regular, “we-just-began-a-”relationship” because of the stakes. (But then I’d have to like write a conflict???and my inability to be creative would hinder that :P)

20) Are there any stories that you wished you’d ended differently?

I haven’t really “ended” any stories of worthy length, but for Blurred Lines :P. Which had an okay ending in my opinion, though maybe hurriedly carried out XDI imagine when I do get to finishing more/other stories, I might? Because I can be impulsive. :P But then again, I take a heck long time to procrastinate; and sometimes that means more time to think about how a story wants to go- in these cases, I don’t, usually :)

21) Tell me about another writer(s) who you admire? What is it about them that you admire?

I am heck into lots of writers.

Roch; VanillaDaydreams22 (tumblr) and just VanillaDaydreams (ao3) is a great friend and writer :P with a lovely, descriptive style of fluid writing.

A famous one would be moustachiopenguin - wrote lots of heart wrenching stories; aha we both know :P So, imagination, use of plot, detail, etc.

And then there’s an up and new coming one; her name starts with a Y and ends with a U.

22) Do you have a story that you look back on and cringe when you reread it?

Literally all of them. :P Anything from over 4-6 months in particular is a bit of, no thanks :P

23) Do you prefer listening to music when you’re writing or do you need silence?

I prefer music, even though sometimes it’s not helpful and actually, is a hindrance :P but music always helps the mood~

24) How do you feel about writing smutty scenes?

Laughs.

Writing? Nah. Reading? Heck, few times.

26) Which part of your Blurred Lines fic was the hardest to write?

All of it cause I didn’t want to write it, I wanted to waste time~

- In the later chapters, carrying out Aomine’s realization for feelings was a little difficult; I had Satsuki sort of catalyze his action, because he’s pretty heckin determined to get Kise in his unconscious mind; Satsuki’s rejection just enforces the feeling he needs to express himself, though hard. But I occasionally would wonder whether Aomine was made too soft, or OOC in general.

27) Do you make a general outline for your stories or do you just go with the flow?

My impulsiveness pushes me towards flow; but for fics requiring detail, general outline help XD no matter how “general”.

28) What is something you wished you’d known before you started posting fanfiction?

Maybe just the fact that the fandoms I’d get to were in existence :D like how some of us talked about, would have been pretty cool to write with the other gazillion of fan- tho, then again, wouldn’t trade them for you guys aha

There’s a lot of things I’ve learned from it and only with the actual writing action have I come to understand the things :P

29) Do you have a story that you feel doesn’t get as much love as you’d like?

Maybe Lazy or No Questions Asked. Lazy, because it was the first time I’d written something short but with a bit of story to it still, y’know? :P And then No Questions Asked because I just love the trope of uncertainty and obliviousness and pining in the middle of aokise.

30) In contrast to 29 is there a story which gets lots of love which you kinda eye roll at?

Honestly? Say It. It was short and okay but like, plot-wise? Not sure if it deserved all the kindness it/I got XD

32) Are any of your characters based on real people?

I haven’t written any OCs in a while! I imagine one I get back to doing so, they could be :P

33) What’s the biggest compliment you’ve gotten?

Not quite sure. I have shit memory sometimes aha, but all the support is good :D

34) What’s the harshest criticism you’ve gotten?

On one of my first fics, which I’d written 24 chapters / 40K (GASP I KNOW :D IT’LL NEVER HAPPEN AGAIN *SMILES THROUGH THE TEARS OF SAD*) I was told the other chapters should be deleted because it was so bad. But like, the reader had posted said criticism through at least half of the work so :P and a couple of chapters later, said, “This is better! But change everything before this.”I actually got a lot of help/reviews becasue I’d asked for them from various authors aha and fandom was popular and lively; the criticism just went straight through my ears I think. XD

35) Do you share your story ideas with anyone else or do you keep them close to your chest?

3rd for the most of it. I’ve never written with 1st before but I’m considering it for a work that’d require an extensive cast. 2nd also strikes me as fun though, because of this angsty story I’d read where Kise was the narrator but done through 2nd? 2nd also seems very poetic and I’d like to try it out some day for fun :P

A victory, Kise should think, should be thinking. What is there instead is empathy, but sadness anyways. Oh Aominecchi…

45) What spurs you on during the writing process?

Not much. There are periods of time when I don’t want to write at all and I will find excuses of any kind to get off my laptop, or stay on, and just not write aha. What helps is typically at night when I feel semi-tired, I’ll be motivated to write enough to be a pleasant thought before bed.

46) I really loved your Try and Keep Trying fic. If you were ever to do a sequel, what do you think might happen in it?

GoM have a Winter Cup Banquet and there’s alcohol there. AoKise has done a lot more pining and both gotten better at hiding it. They meet awkwardly at the event becuz of their friends talking to each of their friends and then suddenly disappearing while AoKise are startled, staring at each other. Cautious tense talk tried to be made easier by both of them; Kise makes a joke like, “Alcohol would make this a little easier, right Aominecchi?”

And Aomine blurts out stupid becuz high strung, smth like, “Is that what you thought the last time?”

AND THEN, Kise is also high strung right, so his reply is probably something dumb; maybe a few more lines and then:

KISE ACCIDENTALLY CALLS HIM ‘DAIKI’ AND THEY BOTH JUST FREEZE AND BLUSH PROFUSELY BC THEY’RE REMINDED OF THE KISS AND FDSJFS AHO REALIZES KISE DID N O T FORGET - and he’ quick to press Kise for an explanation but Kise is sure this is going to lead to heartbreak, that Aomine’s frantic (heart beating at 12432 beats a second) and desperate (to know becuz becuz if Kise- if Ryouta-) demands of Kise to tell him the truth are from a place of piss/fury. When Aomine realizes Kise is only shying away from his emotional cornering/words more and more, Aomine does the only thing he can think of and kisses Kise again and again and again.

Kise realizes he means it, Aomine is almost heartbroken over how Kise couldn’t understand he meant it; both are overwhelmingly overjoyed becuz c’mon. MUTUAL pining, not just pining :P and then THAT turns into cautious, hopeful, cautious prompts for dating.

47) Here’s a fic title - In the man behold a child

(Uni AU)Aomine pines after Kise’s ass and he constantly sends him is inviting him: “C’mon Kise, kiss me and I’ll shut up forever.” and “C’mon Kise, I’d be a great fuckbuddy. No string attached but sex. I’ll be gone immediately.”, lots of, “C’mon Kise. I’m fun. I’ll give you want you want, what you need.” and more earnest and genuine stuff, “I know I sound like I’m kidding, and maybe parts of me were…but I meant it when I said I love you. And I’ll wait until you finally hear I’m fully serious.”

Eventually, Kise comes to realize he is serious. The fact that Aomine really has matured as a person over time and that he really loves Kise.  Who also realizes maybe a little bit of the fact that he’d never needed a real relationship because Aomine sort of checked off all the boxes; and so, (poetically aha; i thought of this at last moment XD) child Kise is also revealed in man Kise for being oblivious and little bit scared (because that’s what teens/kids are good at Aha?)

Ofc, then Kise finally says yes, though hesitant still; Aomine takes him slowly through love and all the good stuff :P

48) What’s your favourite trope to write?

Angst with a Happy Ending, Mutual Pining/Obliviousness & Uncertainty, Friends to Lovers, Friends to Lovers to Enemies to Friends to Lovers, anything with a slight of it’s hard and if we’re not being told we’re gonna make it through, how can i be reassured now that we will; but you’ve got friends to rely on so it’ll be okay OTHERWISE KNOWN AS Angst with a Happy Ending :P

I don’t know how much you receive this, but you need to hear it more: the Thawing series is giving me life. I have read the first part and enjoyed it immensely, and now waiting for the sequel to finish to read it because I can’t do wips. I really loved the first part and your writing is amazing and I think it deserves more love and I should probably stop embarrassing myself. 🙈❤️

Next week, I’m going to publish a remix sequel to @taggiecb ‘s fic Why Can’t It Be Like That. It’s complete, but I’m going to give it one more look through before I publish it. I’ve had it sitting around for months, but now feels like the right time so it can be in honor of her birthday and also the one year anniverary of the original fic being published. You should definitely read the original! It’s one of my all time favorite fics! 

Right now, I’m working on my fic for @larryabroad, which is anonymous, so I can’t say much about it. Hmmm...maybe I’ll go see how far I am with wordcount. It appears I’m at 10577 at the moment and about half done with the fic, I think. So I guess it’ll end up being around 20k at my best estimate for now, although my beta thinks it’s going to be 30ishk. I’m also now realizing that how I had the chapters broken up isn’t going to work anymore. blah. Anywayyyy...

After I finish Larry Abroad, I’m going to work on adapting something that I wrote a long time ago and never finished. It’s a Regency era fic and ABO. Harry is a viscount and heir to a marquessate, and Louis is about to have his first season in London. Their link is through their best friends, Niall and Zayn, who are half brothers in the fic. 

I’m signed up to write for @1dfanworksforcharity who is auctioning off one of my fics. The fic I’m offering is something 5-10k minimum as it’s possible it might end up longer as I write it, and the highest bidder will be able to either have me write them a sequel to any of my fics or write something completely new according to their prompt/tags/ideas. 

I have a fic that is posted as a wip that I’m not even gonna talk about because it’s been so long since I updated it and I’m v v sorry, but I’m v v stuck and don’t know how to write the rest of it right now. GAH

oH WAIT! I’m going to write a drabble for the @larrydrabble Summer Drabble Challenge. My prompt is “backyard.” So. Not sure what I’m doing with that yet. lol.
