Galo screwed his eyes shut tighter, frowning to himself as he pulled his cuddle pillow tighter to his chest. It wasn’t like he had to pee yet, so that wasn’t what woke him up. Did his arm fall asleep? No, that wasn’t it either. He hadn’t changed his sheets in a bit, so it probably wasn’t laundry-detergent-smell or something.

Oh well. Probably nothing. He huffed a bit, making himself comfortable and pulling his pillow closer.

His pillow shifted slightly in response, pressing its cheek against Galo’s shoulder.

………Wait a second.

Okay guys, I need your help: I'm looking for a Promare fanfic that I can't find anymore on AO3 so I guess it was deleted but I hope someone saved it.

Plot: post movie but with alternate ending in which the world has been destroyed, humans have arrived on the new planet, the Burnish are slaves, Lio is the personal (and sexual) slave of Kray and believes that Galo is dead (but he is alive).

I know it's not an active fandom but I'm desperate! so please can you help me?

It was raining outside, no- it was pouring and they were soaked wet from running from Lio's bike to the apartment complex. Galo felt uncomfortable in his own clothes, feeling everything sticking to his skin and so, so cold. He was glad Lio let him take a warm bath or he would probably be on his way to get sick.

As he ventured outside the bathroom, clothed with only a white robe that was too small for him and could barely close at the front (and isn’t that just so much embarrassment?), a soft piano was playing a little too loud to not be live. It was his first time in Lio’s apartment and besides not having any clothes to wear but his soaked ones, he didn’t even know if there’s a piano in the living room or not.

The apartment looked big and fancy enough to have one, if he was honest (and he always is).

Galo walked slowly to where he could hear someone playing, rubbing the towel against his damp hair. He peeked at a corner and saw Lio sitting by a black piano, his own towel twisted on his head as he wore a soft looking baby blue hoodie, eyes half closed as his fingers flew through the keys creating a beautiful melody.

“What song is this?” he asked as he approached slowly, too curious to stay away.

“It’s Beethoven.” he shrugged, not pausing his fingers “Come, sit here.”

The bench wasn’t large enough for both of them, so Galo squeezed one of his buttcheeks on it and let the other hang, using his leg to keep balance. Lio rolled his eyes and stopped the song, getting up and pushing Galo to sit in the middle of the bench before Lio himself sat on his lap.

Galo’s eyes widened in surprise while Lio started another melody - one more melancholic than the one he was previously playing - as if nothing was amiss.

“What.” Galo started, but his voice cracked, so he tried again “What are you playing now?”

Lio chuckled softly “Debussy.”

“Right.” like he knows these names somewhat.

Lio smiled, tilting his head a little to look at him.

“You’re so pretty.” Galo said out loud, getting flustered immediately.

Lio chuckled again “And you look ridiculous in my robe.”

He does. He knows it, so he checkled too, leaning his chin on Lio’s right shoulder. He watched as Lio played swiftly, as if he had decades of experience, his fingers were pale and long, reaching keys that looked too far away.

As the last notes resonated through the living room together with the rain against the windows, Lio turned a little more and kissed him.

After decades of violent war, peace between the nations of Parnassus and Promare has finally been established by the promised union of Prince Galo Thymos and Regent Lio Fotia. The two have never met, but their wedding is suddenly the most important event in recent history and they know that millions of lives are riding on their ability to get along, or, at least, their ability to fake it for the cameras.

Unfortunately, neither are the type to just sit back and let things happen.

So here’s chapter 1 of my first Promare fic. Very exciting. If you’re following me for P5 stuff, don’t worry, gleaming darkness is well underway. This is just something that wouldn’t leave me alone and after my second viewing I knew I had to write it. The third and fourth viewings were for, uh, research, obviously.
