Your relationship with Sebastian Sallow started five years ago: five long, yet blissful years. You were engaged to him, living together and overall extremely happy with your relationship.
Since leaving Hogwarts, after everything that had happened, you had developed some issues with your mental health - everything seemed like a chore to you and your mood was constantly up and down. Sebastian was nothing if not supportive, always reassuring you that everything was okay and that he was there for you through thick and thin: he wouldn’t have put that ring on your finger otherwise. So why was it, when Garreth Weasley got in contact with you again after all these years, did you find yourself suddenly unhappy in your relationship? Garreth was all you could think about and you found yourself talking to him constantly, even when Sebastian was sitting next to you. It was definitely getting out of control.
“Garreth, we shouldn’t meet,” you had said to him over the phone.
“Why?” Came his voice, angelic like.
“Because I don’t trust myself,” you replied honestly. Your response had taken Garreth back, but he had agreed. He didn’t necessarily trust himself either.
Garreth had always had a crush on you, even when you were at school. He knew he should leave you alone, being engaged to Sebastian and all, but he couldn’t help himself. When you texted him first thing in the morning, it made his heart swell. When you updated him on your day, it made him smile. And when you texted him goodnight, he yearned for you. He simply couldn’t get enough. He spent so many lonely nights with his cock in his hand, jerking himself off to photo’s of you on social media and listening to voice notes you had sent of you just explaining how you felt. He had it bad for you, and he knew it. Equally you were no better. Fingering your tight cunt to his voice notes back to you, his soothing voice like music to your ears as you came undone. Sebastian just wasn’t cutting it for you anymore and you felt so guilty.
Despite agreeing that you wouldn’t meet up together, you found yourself stood in Hogsmeade playing with your fingers nervously as you waited for Garreth. Your engagement ring on your finger, a reminder of what you were betraying by indulging in your fantasies. “Y/N?” His voice came, pulling you out of your guilt-filled trance.
“Garreth!” You forced a smile and immediately wrapped your arms around him, hiding your face in his chest and inhaling his scent.
“You okay darling?” He asked, the pet name rolling from his tongue was as sweet as honey. You nodded, looking up at him, that same forced smile on your face. Garreth kissed the top of your head, forcing a blush to rise to your cheeks. “How are you really?” Garreth asked, raising an eyebrow at you. He knew you had been struggling lately and wanted to make sure you were doing okay.
“I’m okay,” you said softly as you returned to playing with your ring. There was something about him that had butterflies fluttering around in your stomach. “How are you?” You asked back.
“I’m good now that you’re here,” he grinned down at you, watching intently as you bit your bottom lip nervously.
“What should we do?” You asked as you looked around at the shops in Hogsmeade. There were so many things you could do together, but your mind was on one thing and one thing only. Being this close to him was intoxicating, especially after all the back and forth flirting you had been doing over the phone.
“We could go to The Three Broomsticks. Grab a drink?” Garreth suggested.
“That sounds like a good idea,” you nodded as you began to walk in the direction of the pub.
You felt Garreth grasp your hand, intertwining his fingers with yours as you walked. You immediately felt your heart skip a beat upon the contact and your palms began to get slightly sweaty, but Garreth didn’t seem to mind. Instead, he just held your hand tighter as you walked to The Three Broomsticks. When you entered you found a spot in the corner, somewhere you couldn’t be seen unless someone was really looking for you. Even though you were simply just ‘meeting a friend’ your intentions felt seedy, especially since the wetness between your legs continued to grow at Garreth’s touch. “So,” Garreth smiled as you sat down in the booth. “What shall we have? Firewhiskey?”
“That sounds delightful,” you smiled.
Garreth walked away and went to the bar to order your drinks. Within moments he was back holding two glasses of firewhiskey. “Here you go beautiful,” he said, sliding the glass to you with a wink. You couldn’t help but blush as you immediately sipped on the fiery liquid. It burnt down your throat and you pulled a funny face that had Garreth smirking at you. “Burning?”
“Yeah,” you replied, sticking your tongue out in disgust.
“That’s the best part,” he smiled, taking a sip of his own drink. “Have you never had a firewhiskey before?”
“Only once back at Hogwarts with Sebastian,” you replied honestly. Garreth rolled his eyes at the mention of your fiance, jealousy bubbling slightly in his gut. The fact you chose to marry Sallow over anyone else really grinded his gears. “Have you?”
“Oh all the time,” Garreth responded. “It’s one of my favourites to drink on a night out in Hogsmeade.”
“Really?” You asked, taking another sip.
“Yeah,” Garreth replied. He continued drinking until there was nothing left in his glass, placing it down rather loudly on the table. “Oops, sorry!” He said, laughing slightly.
“How on earth did you drink that so fast?”
“Practice,” Garreth grinned. You rolled your eyes and placed your half empty cup down onto the table next to Garreth’s empty one. You both decided to chat about your time at Hogwarts, laughing and joking at some of his failed attempts to impress during potions class. It was always the way with him: experiment after experiment.
You were now three glasses of firewhiskey in and your vision was starting to go blurry. “I didn’t think you’d want to meet with me,” you slurred.
Garreth grasped your thigh under the table and gave it a slight squeeze. “Why not?” He asked, leaning in towards you.
“Well you said you wouldn't trust yourself if you met up with me,” you whispered, eyes drifting down to his lips.
“So did you,” he pointed out.
“Trust yourself with what, exactly?”
“I don’t trust myself to not fuck your brains out,” his voice came out like a whisper in your ear, making the hairs on the back of your neck stand up. Arousal grew in your stomach at his words and you knew in that moment there was no coming back from this.
“Oh really?” You asked, raising an eyebrow. You knew you shouldn’t start something, but you couldn’t help it.
“Yeah. Really,” Garreth’s voice was still a breathy whisper against your earlobe: something that drove you mad. His hand on your thigh tightened its grip and his thumb gently stroked your exposed skin. Of course you chose today of all day’s to wear the new skirt you had bought. “Do you want to fuck me as badly as I want to fuck you?” He asked. You couldn’t respond with words, not trusting them to come out in a calm and cool manner, so instead you just nodded your head. Garreth let out a slight chuckle as he moved his face even closer to yours, lips skimming your cheek. Your heart was beating a million miles an hour at this point and despite the alcohol that had clouded your senses, you could clearly see where this was going to end up. “Kiss me,” he begged, his lips chasing yours within an instant. You closed the gap completely, pressing your lips against his firmly. Butterflies continued to explode in your stomach as Garreth’s tongue licked your bottom lip, clearly wanting entrance into your mouth. You opened your mouth slightly, giving the ginger-haired male exactly what he wanted. A groan of approval left his lips the second his tongue brushed against yours. The kiss was passionate, dominant, something you hadn’t realised you had needed in a long time.
When you pulled away, you looked at Garreth through your lashes, blinking rapidly at him. You were most certainly swept away by the kiss. “Do you want to leave?” You asked seductively. Garreth just nodded his head, removing his hand from your thigh and standing up. Like the true gentleman he was, he offered you his hand to take once he had stepped out of the booth before dragging you outside The Three Broomsticks.
“Where do you wanna go?” Garreth asked, looking you up and down while biting his lip.
“Anywhere,” you replied breathlessly. Sebastian wasn’t home today, he was working, providing for the small family you had together, but you didn’t think you’d be able to make it back to your house before you passed out from the sheer amount of arousal you were feeling. “How about down there?” You asked, pointing to a secluded alley.
Garreth led you down the secluded alleyway, immediately pushing you against the wall when you were out of earshot, and sight, of the others in Hogsmeade. His lips attached against yours so rapidly that you let out a little squeak of surprise before wrapping your arms around his neck and pulling him closer to you. It felt so wrong and yet so right at the same time. The pair of you wasted no time: Garreth had bunched your skirt up to your waist, pushing your underwear to the sides of your puffy, soaking folds while you unbuckled his trousers, feeling the strain of his erection through his boxers. He was hard, oh so painfully hard. “Merlin, I want to taste you,” Garreth whimpered, dropping to his knees and forcing one of your legs over his shoulders so he could get at the perfect angle. The one leg holding you up buckled the second his tongue came into contact with your slit, hands flying to his hair almost immediately in a futile attempt to stop his ruthless assault.
“We - ah - we don’t have time for this!” You pouted, watching as his tongue darted into your tight hole and out again, returning to your clit. You were embarrassed to admit you were almost close to cumming.
“Just a few more seconds,” came Garreth’s muffled voice as he slurped at your sensitive nub. “You taste so good.”
“You really think so?” You asked, one of your hands covering your blushing face. Garreth just nodded, licking you with as much fever as he could. The way he was going at it just did something to you: no one had ever eaten you out like this before. Garreth prodded a finger at your entrance, teasing you before pushing it in slowly, his lips still attached to your clit. “Oh Merlin!” You cried out, covering your mouth with your hand to muffle the sounds escaping your lips.
“Cumming already?” Garreth teased as he pulled away from you for a split second, allowing your juices to squirt from you like they never had before. Your legs shook violently, back arching against the wall in an attempt to keep yourself upright as your orgasm washed over you. Shamelessly, Garreth opened his mouth, catching as much of your squirt in his mouth as he could as he pumped his finger in and out of you, clearly pushing you over the edge. You were overstimulated for sure. When you had stopped squirting, Garreth placed a chaste kiss to your now throbbing clit and looked up at you. “Are you ready for me baby girl?”
“Yes, oh please,” you begged, voice babbling. Your brain was fuzzy.
Garreth unhooked your leg from his shoulder and stood up, grasping your hips and turning you around to face the wall. You stuck your arse out as much as you could as your companion pulled his aching cock out of his boxers. He spread your cheeks, admiring the way you clenched around nothing as you anticipated his cock. You were practically shaking. Garreth grabbed the base of his cock and gave it a few experimental pumps before lining himself up with your entrance and slowly inserting himself inside of you. The pain of the stretch felt too good and a wanton moan left your lips. Garreth’s hand quickly placed itself over your mouth to cover up the noise, not wanting to gain any attention from the passersby. He took a second before beginning to move, his hips slowly snapping against yours. Not even Garreth could help the moan that fell from his lips. You felt better than he’d ever imagined. You were so tight and warm and wet, and were sucking him inside of your body.
“More,” your voice croaked at him.
“More?” He asked teasingly. You nodded your head as Garreth continued to thrust against you harder, hitting that sweet spot inside of you already. All thoughts of your fiance were out of your mind, there was no guilt at the current moment and it felt good. You grasped the wall tightly, nails dragging down the stone as Garreth’s hand fell from your mouth to your hips, angling you in a way that had his cock pressing deeper inside of you. You wanted to yelp, but you couldn’t. You bit your lip, hard, and squeezed your eyes shut as his movements sped up. His cock was huge, definitely not what you had imagined from the somewhat nerdy potions boy from school. His cockhead kissed your cervix as he continued to pound against you, lips tracing your exposed neck as he breathed heavily. “Fuck Y/N, you feel so good.” You wanted to say that he felt good too, but all that came out of your mouth was a string of “fuck”’s and “shit”’s. Tears welled up in your eyes as his pace became more and more ruthless, all that desperation and wanting had left him so pent up the last few weeks that all he could think about was cumming inside of your sweet cunt. A hand fell from your hips to strum your clit once again, pushing you to the brink of a second orgasm. Garreth could tell from the way your walls were clenching around him. “It’s okay baby girl, let it go,” he cooed against your neck.
Almost on command you did. Your second orgasm washed over you. Your head slumped against the cool brick of the wall as you bit your lip once again to stop yourself from screaming. This time, your entire body shook, pleasure shooting up your form as you came. It was an experience like you had never had before, but the guilt hadn’t set in yet. “Fuck, Garreth!” You whimpered pathetically, hand slapping at the wall in front of you.
“I’m gonna cum now baby girl, okay?” Garreth asked. You nodded in response, feeling the force of his thrusts become more brutal by the second as he reached his own release. “Shit. Fuck. Shit!” Garreth called out, his cock twitching ruthlessly inside you as thick ropes of cum spurted deep into your womb. As his hips stilled against yours, your mind began to process everything that had happened. You felt his hot mixture inside of you, something you hadn’t felt in years. Sebastian was always insistent on wearing protection to prevent pregnancy, but Garreth didn’t seem to mind the possibility. Either that, or he just didn’t care. He pulled out of you slowly, the cool air against his now softening cock made his entire body shiver. Within seconds he was fully zipped up and pulling your underwear back over your cunt, and your skirt back down over your arse. He turned you back around to face him, pulling you close against his body and kissing the top of your head. “I love you,” he mumbled.
Your eyes went wide as you looked up at him. “You… Love me?” You asked, slightly confused.
“Yes, fuck yes I do. I love you,” Garreth chuckled. He pressed another kiss to the top of your head and smiled. “Come on, let’s get you home.”
“I don’t wanna go home yet,” you whispered, nuzzling into his chest.
“Then why don’t you come to my home?” Garreth offered. Again, you looked up at him in surprise.
“Really?” You asked.
“Yeah! My parents are gone for a few days, why don’t you come round for an hour?” He suggested.
You looked at the time and nodded, knowing Sebastian wasn’t going to be home for a few more hours. You took Garreth up on the offer. You used Floo Flames to travel to his home and quickly nestled yourself in his bed. The warmth of the covers soothing you as the guilt began to eat at your gut. You practically made your bed, and now you had to face the consequences. But you were stuck with what you were going to do. You loved two men, how was that even possible? You sighed as Garreth lay down next to you, pressing a soft kiss to your lips before pulling you close yet again. He stroked your hair until you finally fell asleep, dreaming of your adulterous escapade. You’d figure out what to do later, but for now, you just wanted to be in Garreth’s arms.

You and Garreth stood in front of Professor Sharp with your heads dipped in embarrassment as he scolded the two of you in front of the entire class. "Both of you will have detention this evening," Sharp said coldly. His eyes bore into your soul and you felt your face heating up as eyes casted upon you. You wanted to argue your case or deny your involvement in helping Garreth obtain the fwooper feather, but you were the only student who had access to Sharp's office Not to mention, Sharp had seen the two of you conversing before your entry.
Garreth groaned, "I didn't mean for that to happen Professor." His futile attempt to worm his way out of a detention, however, fell on deaf ears.
"That is besides the point, Mr Weasley. Your insolence is what obtained your detention, not your little stunt," Sharp rolled his eyes before he turned his attention to you. "And you, Miss L/N, should know better than this."
"I'm sorry Professor," you mumbled. "I was merely trying to help out a friend."
"Well, helping a friend has gotten you into more trouble than you had bargained for, hasn't it?" Sharp asked rhetorically as you nodded silently, averting your gaze. "I'd like for you to both be here for 5pm, no later or you'll be finding yourself in detention for a week!"
"Yes Sir," you both nodded in understanding and walked back to your potions station.
The rest of your day went by rather quickly and was, thankfully, uneventful. After potions, you had charms and then the rest of your day was free to do with what you will. You met up with some friends and hung around the castle grounds before you made your way back to the potions classroom for your detention.
"I see you're here Miss L/N," Professor Sharp said without looking up from his parchment. "Where is Mr Weasley?"
You shrugged. "I don't know Sir. I haven't seen him since potions this morning," you explained.
"Well, it looks like he is going to be late," he said, checking the clock on his desk. "If he isn't here within four and a half minutes."
"I'm sure he will be here Sir," you said quietly, shuffling your feet on the floor. "I have heard that Garreth has a tendency to leave things... last minute."
"I know students like Mr Weasley very well, Miss L/N. But what matters is that you are here on time," Sharp said. "And are therefore safe from any further punishment."
"Thank you Sir," you nodded your head and sat at your potions desk silently, eyeing the ingredients placed upon the surface. After ten minutes of silence and absent-mindedly strumming your fingers across your desk your detention partner came running in.
"I'm here! I'm here!" Garreth yelled, closing his eyes tightly and hunting over, placing his hands on his knees breathing heavily. "I'm sorry I'm late Professor Sharp! I fell asleep."
"I'm afraid that's not a good enough excuse Mr Weasley," Professor Sharp rolled his eyes and continued to scribble away. "Detentions every evening for the next week."
You couldn't help the slight smirk that laced your lips as Sharp gave Garreth his sentence. "But Sir-"
"But nothing Mr Weasley. I gave you a chance and you show up ten minutes late to your detention. With a pathetic excuse, no less."
Garreth nodded and pursed his lips. You could see he was trying his hardest not to roll his eyes as he sat down next to you at his own potions station. You were still smirking when he turned his head to look at you, a frown on his face. "What are you smiling at?" He asked quietly, voice oozing frustration.
"Nothing," you whispered back.
Garreth couldn't help the silly smile that spread across his face as he looked at you. He thought you were truly beautiful; one of the most beautiful witches at Hogwarts. Your hair framed your face nicely, and it's colour made your eyes pop. You felt the ginger haired boy staring at you. You looked over your shoulder and offered him a sweet smile, but as soon as your eyes met, Garreth looked away quickly. A faint dust of pink dancing across his cheeks.
Your detention was two hours in length and the first hour dragged. You had opted to doing some homework in the meantime while Garreth just sat there. His eyes narrowing on the potions station in front of him while he thought about what exactly went wrong with his experiment earlier on in the day. Roughly an hour and a quarter into your detention, Professor Sharp glanced at his clock and stood up swiftly. His eyes flickered between the two of you.
"Is everything okay, Professor?" You asked, startled by his sudden movements.
Sharp nodded quickly before opening his mouth to speak. "I have a meeting I have to attend too. It shouldn't take me too long. I trust you two can behave yourselves in the time I'm gone?"
"Why don't we just finish the detention now?" Garreth suggested cheekily. "I've certainly learnt my lesson."
"Silence, Mr Weasley."
"Garreth," you hissed, eyes narrowing at the boy besides you before you turned your attention to your professor. "Of course, Professor."
"Good," Sharp said. He used his wand to lock his office door between looking between the two of you once more. "If you don't behave, I shall know about it. Now if you don't mind, I shall be back momentarily."
And with that, Professor Sharp limped out of the classroom.
A few seconds of silence had passed since Professor Sharp had left, and Garreth was already up to mischief. He had opened up his potions book and was flipping through it, a grin on his lips. You eyed him wearily. "What are you up too?" You asked, shaking your head.
"Looking for something," he replied quickly. His eyes scanned the pages of the book in front of him before his grin lit up. "Damnit! That's why it went wrong!"
"Why what went wrong?" You asked, raising an eyebrow. "Your experiment?"
Garreth nodded, shoving the book your way. "I can't believe I was so stupid! Next time, it'll blow your mind, I promise."
"Garreth, no," you scowled, furrowing your brows at him.
"Why not? It'll be fun!" He protested. "In fact, we could do it right now while Sharp is at his meeting. It'll be finished and cleaned up before he even gets back!"
You snickered slightly before you eyes widened with realisation. "You're not joking are you?"
Garreth shook his head, eyes glinting with a wicked mischief you had never seen before. "Nope," he said, plopping the 'p'.
"You cannot be serious," you scowled. "What if he comes back in the meantime? We don't know how long he'll be gone!"
"I know all the Professors schedules around here," Garreth replied cooly. "He'll be gone for at least twenty minutes."
You shook your head as a slight laugh of disbelief left your lips. "You should not be messing around like this!"
"Scared, princess?" He teased, raising his eyebrow at you.
Your eyes widened at his use of 'princess' and a blush crossed your cheeks. "N-No!" You stuttered. "I just don't want to get into anymore trouble than I already am!"
Garreth wiggled his eyebrows at you. "What if I promise we won't?" He was teasing you again. You couldn't help it, the way he was looking at you sent a warmth straight to your core and you found yourself gripping your thighs together tightly. Garreth noticed your sudden stiffness and smirked at you. "Something wrong princess?"
"No, nothing," you replied, shaking your head.
He leaned closer to you, so close that you could feel his breath on your face. "You sure about that?"
You squeeze your thighs together tighter, desperate to gain some friction between your legs. His cologne was overwhelming as it invaded your nostrils. So much so, you began to feel a little light headed. You found yourself grasping underneath the table until your knuckles were turning white. Shaking your head desperately at your detention partner. "I'm sure."
Garreth rolled his eyes playfully at you. "You seem... tense." He scooted closer to you, your shoulders now touching.
Your face was flushed with embarrassment. "Garreth, I'm fine," you snapped sharply.
Garreth's hands dropped from his side to your thigh, gripping your soft flesh ever so slightly. "Come on princess, talk to me. What's the matter? Do I make you nervous?" He asked cheekily, a chuckle emitting from his throat. He knew what he was doing as your thighs continued to press together. Your face red from his thumbs movements on your bare skin. You stayed silent as his hand continued to caress your thigh. "Say something."
You gulped, hard. You weren't sure what to say and thoughts were swirling about in your mind. "T-There's nothing to say."
"You know, Professor Sharp will be in his meeting now," Garreth smirked. His eyes flickered from your eyes to your lips before looking back into your eyes again.
"What are you suggesting Garreth?" You asked as your eyes widened.
He leaned into your ear, nipping lightly at the soft flesh of your lobe. "I'm suggesting we make a little mess," he purred. Your eyes were wider than they had ever been now as Garreth's words sunk into your brain. His chapped lips against your earlobe was sending a wave of heat straight to your cheeks as the red-haired male continued to tease you. "What do you say princess?" He asked as he pulled away and looked into your eyes.
"What exactly are you suggesting Garreth?" You muttered lowly.
You turned your head to avert your gaze from Garreth's, but the boy tucked his hand under your chin and forced your face to look at his. "Let me show you," he whispered breathily before pressing his lips to yours. Your eyes fluttered closed as his chapped lips collided with yours, his tongue running along your bottom lip. You swore your heart skipped a beat as the boy caressed your cheek softly, almost as if you were porcelain threatening to break at any moment. When he pulled away, he spoke quietly. “How was that?”
Your eyes opened upon his question, and although you were almost too stunned to speak, you managed to force out a quick and shy “good.”
Garreth grinned at you goofily. His heart was threatening to beat out of his chest as he leaned into kiss you once more, this time more passionately than the last. His hands fell from your cheeks to your hips, pulling you ontop of him. Your eyes shot open as you were pulled onto his lap and you squrimed uncomfortably at this new position. You repositioned yourself so your legs were on either side of his body, you were straddling him as he kissed you passionately. Your new position earned a slight grunt of approval from the Gryffindor, which caught you of guard, a gasp emitting from your throat at the sensation of his grunt against your lips. Garreth took this surprise to his advantage, by slipping his tongue into your mouth. You couldn’t help but moan softly as his tongue met yours and suddenly your tongues were fighting for dominance. Garreth won, his tongue continuing to swirl around your own as he gripped your hips tighter, pulling your body closer to his.
You couldn’t help but grind your hips against Garreth’s as he pulled away from your lips. His goofy grin still plastered on his face as he gazed into your eyes longingly. Your lips felt tender but you didn’t care, leaning in to kiss the ginger again. “Are you thinking what I’m thinking?” Garreth asked between kisses.
“Probably not,” you replied honestly, continuing to kiss him inbetween words.
“Well,” Garreth pondered, moving his lips away from yours. “Sharp will be gone for at least twenty more minutes.”
“And?” You asked raising an eyebrow, curious as to where he was going with this.
“I say we find ourselves a broom closet and I give you a proper welcome to Hogwarts,” Garreth smirked.
You blushed profusely at his suggestion but shook your head. “We can’t,” you said. “He could be back any minute.”
“Trust me, he’ll be gone before we even get back,” Garreth gripped your hips tighter and you grinded against him again.
“We can’t,” you protested, biting your bottom lip. "Believe me, I want too, but we can't leave this room."
Garreth thought for a moment before pecking your lips once more. "What if we don't leave this room?" He asked, his hands moving to either side of your arms and rubbing lightly.
Your eyes widened. "You mean... in here?" You asked. Shocked wasn't even the word you were feeling right now. "W-What if Professor Sharp comes back?"
"Believe me, he won't," Garreth winked. "Do you trust me?" He asked.
You shook your head and laughed. "No."
His eyes darkened slightly. "Trust me Y/N," he said, a seriousness lacing his voice.
You gulped and nodded. "Okay."
Garreth bucked his hips against yours and grinned wickedly at you. "I promise you it'll be worth it princess."
"I'll hold you to that," you said.
Garreth winked at you once more and shifted his weight, pushing you off his lap slightly and standing up. He loomed over you, it was almost intimidating but before you could give it any more thought he pulled you close to him, dipping his head to kiss you again in a lip bruising kiss. Before you knew it, you were pressed up against the potion station table, his hand working its way down to the hem of your skirt. You felt Garreth's hand shaky against your thigh and you pulled away for a second, looking him in the eyes. "Have you done this before?" You asked. He shook his head 'no' and began to press kiss after kiss down your neck, sending shivers down your spine. "Are you sure you want to do this?" You asked.
"I'm sure," he whispered breathlessly against your neck. His fingers were up your skirt now, playing with the waistband of your underwear teasingly. Despite his confident demeanour, you could tell he was nervous. "I want you," he reassured you before dipping his fingers into your underwear quickly.
You hissed lightly at the coldness of his fingers as they danced across your folds, teasing you. He wasted no time in plunging a singular finger into your cunt, biting at your neck as he did. "Oh," you whimpered, your hands finding their way to Garreth's shoulders, steadying yourself against him.
"So tight," Garreth grinned against your neck as his finger began to plunge in and out of you. You gasped quietly at the sensation and bucked your hips up against him.
"More," you whispered to him.
"More?" Garreth asked teasingly, a second finger teasing your entrance as he pressed his lips to yours again.
You nodded eagerly into the kiss, moaning as you felt his second finger enter you slowly. You were already floating above the clouds from his fingers alone and you couldn't help but wonder how good his cock would feel. You pulled away from the kiss and groaned as Garreth's fingers quickened their pace. "W-We don't have time for this," you moaned lightly.
"Okay princess," Garreth smiled sweetly, removing his fingers from your cunt. You expected him to wipe away your wetness on his uniform, or maybe even lick them clean, but you didn't expect what he did. He placed his two fingers to your lips and grinned. "Suck," he ordered.
You nodded shyly, opening your mouth and slowly enveloping his two fingers. You rolled your eyes into the back of your head as you sucked your wetness off of his fingers, swirling your tongue around the digits. Suddenly, he retracted his fingers from your mouth and began to quickly unzip his trousers and pull his already hard cock out of his boxers. You couldn't help but trail your eyes down to Garreth's cock as he pumped at it a few times, grin widening at your reaction, watching as you bit your lip at the sight of him. "Wow," was all you could say.
You were surprised at how big and thick he was and you couldn't help but wonder the cliche - would it even fit? You quickly pushed that thought out of your mind and yelped as Garreth turned you around so you were facing the potions station, away from him. As he flipped up your skirt and pulled your underwear down to your thighs, Garreth couldn't help but chuckle. "This is definitely a memorable detention. Dare I say, the best detention I have ever had."
You rolled your eyes and opened your mouth to say something, but he quickly pushed his cock inside of you, walls stretching as he entered you. A moan fell from your open mouth and you gripped the table below you to keep yourself steady. An "oh God," fell from your lips as he fully bottomed out inside of you.
Garreth pulled his dress shirt and jumper up to get a good view of your ass as he settled inside of you. A soft sigh left his lips as you squirmed beneath him. "C-Can I move?" He stuttered, biting his bottom lip. He knew he wouldn't last long, the way you were squeezing him simply felt too good, but Garreth knew he'd try and last as long as he could.
"Yes, please," you nodded and happily obliging, Garreth began to move his hips slowly, pulling his cock from your cunt before forcing himself back in. You moaned in unison as Garreth began to pound into you slowly, but harshly. Your mouth was hung open as soft moans and sighs fell from your lips and your eyes were squeezed shut as the pleasure overtook your mind.
"So tight," Garreth repeated, hands grasping at your hips desperately bouncing you up and down on his cock. He was completely entranced by the way he disappeared and reappeared out of your cunt. This was possibly the best moment of his life: loosing his virginity during detention definitely beat all of his current life achievements so far.
"Don't say such things," you whimpered, biting your lip. You were embarrassed by what he was saying, you weren't sure why, but you were.
Garreth chuckled and responded by quickening his pace, rutting into you at a now brutal pace. You moaned loudly, completely forgetting you were in a public place and could be interrupted at any moment by your Professors. Garreth didn't seem to mind, if anything his pace encouraged you to make as much noise as possible. His grip on your hips tightening even more, sure enough to leave bruise marks later on. He bent down and bit on your earlobe, whispering words of praise. "You feel so good princess. You're doing so well for me. You take me so fucking good."
"Garreth," you moaned, one of your hands falling in-between your legs and rubbing quick little circles around your clit as you reached your orgasm.
"What's wrong beautiful?" He asked, eyes full blown with lust as he continued to buck his hips up into you quickly. He couldn't help but let out a strangled groan as he felt the walls of your cunt tighten around his cock. "God you're getting so fucking tight."
"I'm going to cum Garreth," you whimpered.
"Cum for me princess, cum on my cock," Garreth smirked. One of his hands moved from your hip, to your hair, tangling itself into your locks as he pounded into you. He pulled on your hair, forcing your head back. You turned to look at him, watching as his green eyes glistened with anticipation. The sight of him alone had you cumming on his cock, hard. A squeal of his name left your lips and Garreth pushed your head forward and returned his hand back to your hip, pace speeding up more than you ever thought possible as he reached his own orgasm. The feeling of your walls spasming around him with your own release had him reaching his in no time, and shamelessly he shouted your name as he spurted thick ropes of cum deep inside of you. "Fuck!"
Garreth's hips stuttered as he came, your hand returning to the potions station table to balance yourself. After a few seconds of stuttering hips and curse words, Garreth finally stilled himself. His breathing was heavy, but that goofy smirk remained on his lips. There was silence for a minute as the two of you caught your breath, panting echoing in the empty room. You opened your eyes as Garreth pulled out of you quickly, tugged up your underwear and flipped your skirt back down before he tucked his softening cock back into his boxers, zipping up his trousers.
Your legs wobbled as you sat back down in your seat, returning to your homework. The silence was almost deafening until Garreth spoke, his tone teasing. "Did you enjoy yourself?"
You nodded, too embarrassed to look him directly in the eye. "I did, did you?"
He laughed heartily. "Very much so." When you didn't look at him, Garreth sat down and tugged on your shoulder, forcing you to look at him. Without saying a word, he cupped your face in his hand and pressed his lips softly to yours. You sighed into the kiss but before you could kiss back, he pulled away and stared into your eyes, thumb caressing your cheek gently. "We should do that again some time."
"You think?" You asked softly, eyes lighting up.
"Oh yes. I think we should do it all the time," Garreth smirked mischievously.
You nodded to him in agreement and chuckled. "I agree."
"Glad you do," he said before grabbing his potions book and turning his attention to the pages in front of him. You smiled to yourself softly as you turned back to your homework, continuing to scribble your answers on the parchment.
It wasn't long before Professor Sharp was limping in, his eyes automatically darting between you and Garreth. "I see there have been no accidents," he stated, looking at Garreth approvingly.
"No Sir," you smiled, looking up at him from your homework. A nod of approval was given to you by Professor Sharp as Garreth didn't even bother looking up from his potions book.
As Sharp reached his desk, he looked at the clock and coughed. "Your detention is over," he stated to the two of you. "And don't forget Mr Weasley, I expect you here tomorrow at the same time, or your detentions will be extended for two weeks."
Garreth nodded and stood up quickly, packing his potions book away before turning to you with his hand held out for you to take. You smiled as you took Garreth's hand and was hoisted up. The ginger wasted no time in dragging you out of the potions classroom and to your dormitory before placing a soft, chaste kiss on your lips.
"I'll see you soon, I hope," he whispered into your lips.
"You'll be seeing a lot more of me Weasley," you smirked, kissing him on the cheek and walking into your dormitory. Garreth stood outside the doors smiling to himself before walking away, no doubt, up to cause mischief somewhere else.

I want to thank @pugsnotdrugs92 for basically forcing me to write something for Garreth Weasley *eye roll* - ONLY JOKING. But I am extremely happy with how this turned out, so although you're not the biggest Garreth fan, I hope it tickles you in the right way regardless!

You called one last good-bye to Albie Weekes as you left his shop stepping into the cool November air. It had been well over a year since you’d last stepped foot in Hogsmeade, and it was nice to catch up with some old friends. Your next step would be visiting Parry Pippin, who had been most fond of you while you were in school. You’d always helped him make deliveries to Fatimah Lewang, which had gotten you a decent amount of pocket money. He had always paid you handsomely for having to deal with that unpleasant woman. You made your way up the street towards the potions shop, savoring the sights and sounds of the bustling village. Seeing students wander the streets talking and laughing filled you with so many fond memories. You could almost see yourself with Sebastian and Ominis, or perhaps Garreth Weasley, walking through the village and stopping in at the shops.
Your mind lingered on the idea of walking through Hogsmeade with Garreth. The two of you had formed a very close friendship in your sixth year. You had been immensely fond of him, and something deep down inside of you had always hoped the two of you might become more than just friends. Besides Sebastian and Ominis, he was the one you spent the most time with. The amount of time the two of you had spent flirting was obscene, with delicate touches and priceless banter. Garreth had been quick to blush, and how you loved to make him blush.
You got to the entrance of J. Pippin’s, and were jolted by the door opening suddenly. A man with a friendly face and a messy head of red hair bumped into you.
“Garreth?” You said, momentarily wondering if you’d accidentally summoned him.
“What are you doing here?” He asked, and then frowned at his choice of words, “er… I mean It’s lovely to see you!” He added quickly. You couldn’t help but smile at the blush that bloomed across his cheeks.
“I needed to buy a new broom, I figured I’d come and visit some of the other shopkeepers while I’m here.” You said.
“Still up to trouble, I gather?” He asked.
“Naturally.” You gave him a wink. He laughed, and opened his arms for a hug. You embraced him briefly before stepping back and inspecting him. In the year since you’d seen him last he’d grown out of being the boy you knew. He was taller, his shoulders broader and he looked obviously strong under his clothes - which you noticed were very well tailored. The boyishness of his round cheeks had lessened, his cheekbones and jawline more defined now. You’d thought him handsome while in school, but now… he was breathtaking.
“I can’t believe you’re really here.” Garreth said, his eyes searching your face.
“I only live over in Feldcroft. It’s not that far a journey. I’m more surprised to see you here.” You said. A sullen look flashed across his face so fast you almost thought you’d imagined it.
“Feldcroft? Are you living with Sallow?” He asked, an unexpected bite to his voice.
“Anne Sallow, yes. Sebastian and Ominis moved to London to be closer to work. What have you been up to?”
“Oh… right! I… well… it’s a little embarrassing.” His hand reached up to push his hair back.
“What, are you shoveling dragon dung for a living?” You asked. He shot you a scandalized look.
“No, I’m Parry Pippin’s assistant.” You arched a brow at his response. That seemed like a respectable job to you.
“Why would that be embarrassing? Mr. Pippin is an excellent potioneer.”
“Speaking of Mr. Pippin, he is patiently waiting for one Mr. Weasley to go gather his ingredients.” Parry Pippin’s voice made you nearly jump out of your skin. You looked over to the shopkeeper, who had his hands on his hips and a little frown on his face. Garreth’s face flushed again.
“Hello, Mr. Pippin!” You reached out and shook his hand.
“It’s lovely to see you dear, now, if you’re insistent on distracting my assistant, why don’t you make yourself useful and help him collect the ingredients I need? He could use someone to watch his back.” Mr. Pippin said sternly. It was your turn to blush. You looked over to Garreth who had a hopeful look on his face. You nodded, it wasn’t like you were expected anywhere else - not with Anne visiting Ominis and Sebastian - and there was no way you could say no to that face. You would certainly rather be with him than be in the frigid sky on your way to an empty house. After a final sharp word from Mr. Pippin, Garreth started on the road that would take you towards the Forbidden Forest.
It felt a little surreal, to be walking down that familiar path with Garreth Weasley. Truth be told, you hadn’t anticipated running into any of your school friends. You hadn’t really been close with many students under your year, and most of your friends were busy with their new jobs. Natty was back in Uganda, Poppy was running around the wilderness looking for beasts, Ominis was apprenticing in Diagon Alley, Sebastian was working in the Auror’s office… Even Anne seemed to be spending more and more time in London.
You did think it a little amusing that you found yourself yet again protecting someone while they entered a dangerous location. It had become a habit during your school years, and it seemed to be carrying into your graduate life. The villagers in Feldcroft often asked for your help when it came to potentially dangerous situations.
“I needed a job so I could save up and open up my own shop - Mr. Pippin was looking for someone to help out around his shop, it just seemed right.” Garreth said, jolting you from your thoughts. His tone was a little dejected, as though it was a disappointment for him to not own his own shop.
“It certainly gives you good access to ingredients for your experiments. You’ve only just left school, you have loads of time Gar. You’re brilliant, I know you’ll have your own shop in no time.” You said encouragingly. He really was brilliant at potion-making, despite his unfortunate mishaps with his personal experiments.
“You think so?” He asked, a little smile on his face. You nodded in response, returning his smile. His green eyes seemed to sparkle as he held your gaze for a moment - before promptly tripping over his own feet and stumbling. You moved on reflex, your arms wrapping around his, and hauling him upwards so he didn’t fall down.
“Even if you can’t walk in a straight line to save your life, yes I do think so.” You said, laughing at him. His face was red as he joined in your laughter.
“I can walk perfectly straight, thank you very much.”
“Hurt your pride, did I?”
“At least I can reach the top shelf.”
“That’s a low blow, Weasley.”
“Yes, because you’re so close to the ground.”
You and Garreth bickered back and forth as you walked along, without realizing you were still holding onto his arm. You loved spending time with Anne, and you did appreciate your neighbours in the village, but this was wonderful. It had been a long time since you’d laughed like this. Before you knew it, you stood at the entrance of the Forbidden Forest. You dropped his arm, pulling your wand out of the hidden pocket inside your coat.
“Alright, I’ve got to find unicorn hair and hopefully some unicorn horns. They’re shedding this time of year.” Garreth said.
“Really? That’s not going to be easy. I know where some unicorns stay, but it’s very deep in the forest.” You said, frowning a little. You’d gone to see the unicorns several times during your time at school, especially after you’d chased all the poachers out of the woods. You wondered if they would remember you - and if they would just run from Garreth.
“You know where their den is?” He looked at you with an amazed expression.
“Well, Poppy Sweeting wasn’t the only one who was fond of magical beasts.” You said, stepping through the gate towards the forest. You’d never shown anyone the Room of Requirement, preferring to keep it your own little sanctuary. There was no way Garreth would have known about your beast rescuing services. He merely tilted his head in agreement and followed you through the gate.
It had been a long time since you’d set foot in the ancient feeling forest, and it was just as unnerving. Despite going into the forest countless times, the feeling of it was something you’d never gotten used to. It was always so unnaturally quiet, despite the abundance of life you knew dwelled under the dark canopy of trees. Garreth’s hand quietly found yours, and you didn’t have it in you to tease him about it. The forest could really be scary. You didn’t speak as you guided him down the path, trying to remember the way to the unicorns all while listening carefully for the tell-tale signs of trouble. You navigated the twisting paths, taking the route which you recalled to have the least amount of spiders.
You both froze when a spine-chilling howl echoed in the distance. Garreth’s hand tightened over yours. You had no idea what sort of beast had made that horrible noise, and you weren’t in a rush to find out. Dark mongrels you could handle. Werewolves, you weren’t all that eager to try and fight. Anything else… Unless it was small and easily defeatable, you truly weren’t interested today.
“Please tell me we’re not going towards that.” He whispered to you. You shook your head, looking towards the direction of the noise. It was, thankfully, in the wrong direction.
“I can’t believe he wanted you to come here alone.” You whispered, unwilling to speak any louder. You wondered in part if that was because of Parry Pippin’s cowardice. The man wasn’t exactly known for his bravery, which was showcased so brilliantly in the delivery job he’d given you. If he wasn’t able to face Madam Lewang, how in the world would he have faced the forest and its denizens? Perhaps you’d have to have a talk with the master potioneer upon your return. You gently tugged on Garreth’s hand and started walking again - increasing your pace when another howl echoed.
“You never said what you’re doing now that school’s done.” He said quietly, clearly desperate to break up at least some of the tense silence.
“I’m not really doing much these days, I mostly help around Feldcroft and take care of Anne. St. Mungos reckons they’ve nearly got a cure.” You said, stepping over a large root and turning slightly to make sure Garreth didn’t trip over it. After everything you’d done, from stopping the Goblin rebellion to destroying the poacher trade in the Scottish Highlands, you figured you were owed a well deserved break - not that you were doing much relaxing.
“That’s wonderful to hear, I always did like Anne…” He trailed off, as though there was something more he wanted to say. Heavy footsteps made the ground tremble slightly, and you shoved Garreth into the shadows against a tree before pressing against him trying to make the pair of you as inconspicuous as possible. He made no noise as a troll thumped across the path. You were steadily growing more annoyed with Mr. Pippin by the minute. What if he had been alone? It was inexcusable! You at least knew you could take on a fully grown troll. He may have been decent at defense against the dark arts, but Garreth had never fought a troll on his own. Hell, even Sebastian struggled and that was with your help. It was a tense few moments before the troll moved deeper into the forest.
“Come on. He didn’t see us.” You kept the steady pace up.
“This is awful. How in the world are you still alive? I am so sorry for asking you to collect ingredients for me all the time.” Garreth hissed as he followed you. You snorted, his requests for you to go into the forest were often the least dangerous adventures you went on. The forest got darker as you ventured deeper, and now you really had to be on your guard. You jumped when something wet and cold dripped onto your face, and looked up with your wand out. You sighed when you felt more drops and realized it was just raining. You wondered if you’d lost your nerve, which was not helped when Garreth huffed a laugh at your reaction.
“Not a word out of you, Weasley.” You shot a glare over your shoulder.
“Are you frightened of the rain? Do you need me to protect you?” He teased. A stick cracked nearby, and with a nervous gasp he moved closer to you. You smirked a little, not even needing to tease him for his face to go red. You fell into silence once more, hoping the rain would stay light. If it was storming by the time you were due home, you weren’t going to be happy about it. Hand in hand and wands at the ready, you and Garreth pushed on into the darkness.
You smiled when you heard the soft nickering of horses. You pulled Garreth to the side behind some bushes, quietly casting the disillusionment charm on yourself. He did the same, and you guided him forwards a little. You let go of his hand, beaming at the sight of the unicorns in front of you. You could feel him looming over your shoulder, his fingers gently pressing against the small of your back. It was a stunning sight, to have so many of these rare beasts all in one spot.
“They’re beautiful.” He bent to whisper in your ear. You nodded despite the fact he couldn’t really see you.
“Stay here. I want to see if they’ll let me approach them.” You whispered back, stepping away from him and removing the charm. You stepped forward slowly, letting yourself be seen by the unicorns. A massive white stallion moved forwards, staring you down with deep-set eyes. His coat was majestic, it almost seemed to glow despite no light hitting it. You stopped, and lifted your hands carefully. A loud whinny made you look to your left, and you gasped when Hazel the unicorn trotted happily towards you.
“Hazel! You look wonderful, my friend.” You said, smiling at her as she stopped before you. You lifted your hand and gently stroked her forehead. She truly did, her coat was shining bright as ever and she was plump from eating well. You flicked your wand, summoning a horse brush to give her a nice brush down. You momentarily forgot about Garreth as a few other unicorns you recognized moved in closer - including Hazel’s mate who you had named Ares, and the now-grown foal they’d had just over two years ago that you called Honey. You were laughing now, greeting each of them and letting them all take their turns with your brush and summoning little treats for each of them.
You took a moment to glance around the clearing that they lived in, and indeed there were a few horns littered around the ground. You looked over your shoulder to where Garreth was hidden behind the bush, and carefully beckoned to him. The unicorns froze, going on high alert as he took a careful step into the clearing.
“This is Garreth, he’s my friend.” You said, the word friend leaving a slightly bitter taste in your mouth. He came to stand beside you, careful not to move too quickly. He didn’t want to frighten them. Hazel moved a little closer to you, assessing him carefully. You swore that she understood everything you ever told her, and when she turned her head towards you and then back to him you felt that she knew just who he was. You held your hand out for Garreth’s, and he placed his hand in yours without hesitation. You lifted his hand, gently pressing it to Hazel’s forehead and stroking it downwards in the way she liked to be pet above her nose. You watched him while he repeated the motions you showed him, reveling in the awed look on his face. His green eyes were wide, and almost sparkling. A smile slowly spread as his nerves faded, and he met your gaze. He was so handsome it almost hurt. To see him so happy to be doing something that you loved… you hadn’t expected it to make your heart pound like this.
“Hello! It’s lovely to meet you.” Garreth addressed Hazel, and you thought you were going to drop dead at the way that made you feel. You thought about how so many witches and wizards completely disregarded beasts and their intelligence, and to see someone so important to you regard beasts with respect… you were getting flustered with the overwhelming urge to kiss him.
The rain really started to pick up now, and you were reminded that you stood in the middle of the Forbidden Forest, probably surrounded by dangerous creatures. You and Garreth got to work, he searched for fallen horns while you brushed unicorn tail hairs out carefully.
“You know, this has turned out to be a very pleasant adventure.” Garreth said conversationally, coming closer to you to help with harvesting some tail hairs.
“Are you only saying that because Pippin won’t be complaining about his unicorn ingredients now?” You asked with a grin.
“Not at all! It’s nice to see you again. If I’m being honest, I wasn’t sure I would. I’d assumed you would disappear wherever Sallow went.” He said, giving you a nervous glance. Your brows furrowed as you thought about what he’d just said. Why in the world would he assume that?
“With Sebastian? What do you mean?” You asked.
“Well… It wasn’t just me who thought this, of course, but I thought you would end up marrying him. You two were always so close.” He said awkwardly. You were close with Sebastian, and you had been through a lot with him, but not once did you see him as a romantic partner. You could understand why others may have thought that; the man was an unbearable flirt after all, but he’d never sought you romantically either. In fact, you’d played wing-man for him far too many times to count.
You shook your head, “Sebastian and I were never romantically involved, nor will we ever be. That would be like kissing my brother.” You cringed at the thought of kissing Sebastian. Garreth was quiet for a long time. You looked over at him and saw him deep in thought as he gently brushed Honey’s tail.
“Oh… so, you’re not… involved with anyone?” He asked, tilting his head cautiously.
“No, Garreth, I am not.” You said. Your love life was indeed woefully empty. Some part of you still clung to the idea of somehow being with him. Why would he even be bringing this up? Did he truly care about your love life, or was he being polite?
The rain was lashing down now, leaving you both absolutely drenched while you worked. The unicorns began to retreat deeper into the woods now, looking to find some sort of shelter from the rain. You had started to shiver from the cold rain, chilling you down to the bone. Hazel was the last to leave, leaning against the palm of your hand one last time before turning and walking through the trees into the darkness. It was bittersweet, seeing the unicorn go. You resolved to come back and visit more often - you’d handled the forest as an inexperienced witch, you had so much more skill and experience now to navigate the twisting paths. You looked around, wrapping your arms around yourself to try and gain some sort of warmth. The thick clouds in the sky and the rapidly setting sun bathed the surrounding forest in an impossibly dark shade of black.
When the clearing was suddenly bathed in light, you turned to see Garreth holding his wand with its tip shining brightly between his teeth as he finished stuffing unicorn hairs and horns into the satchel he’d brought with him. He looked at you, and you squinted as the light hit your eyes.
“You’re blue! Come on, let’s get you somewhere warm and dry.” He said, taking his wand out of his mouth. You frowned, not happy that your little adventure was coming to an end. Garreth was right, you were freezing. Your hands had gone numb, and you could feel your teeth starting to chatter a little. It was going to be a long trip back to Feldcroft. You lamented your loss of the Hogwarts floo system, an annoying decision Phineas Nigellus Black had made upon your graduation.
“I’ve g-got to p-pick up my br-broom from Alb-bie. Got t’ f-fly home.” You stammered out, the cold effectively locking your jaw. A powerful gust of wind made the trees swish and made you even colder.
“Don’t be stupid. You’re going to fly home in this? You’ll catch your death.” Garreth shook his head, holding his hand out. You took it, and he apparated before you could even put another word in.
You looked up at the little cottage you stood in front of, blinking in surprise. You supposed Garreth did have a point - the wind had picked up far too much now, flying would be dangerous. You’d go see Sirona again and see if she had any rooms available. Garreth unlocked the door to the cottage and practically dragged you inside. The door closed behind you, and the lamps flickered to life lighting up a cozy little living area. Garreth wordlessly waved his wand towards the fireplace on the wall adjacent to the door and it roared to life almost instantly flooding the room with delicious warmth.
You moved closer to the fire, looking around the room as you did. There were two narrow bookcases crammed full on either side of the fireplace, and a squashy green armchair and matching loveseat with a small wooden table in front of the fire. On the next wall was a potions station complete with an extensive storage system. On the other side of the room was a small kitchen with a little dining table that had only two chairs. A door on the very back wall led to what you assumed was the bathroom. It was a charming little house, somehow very maximalist despite not having much for decor - how typical of him. Leander Prewett had once described their dormitory to you, and he apparently hadn’t changed much in terms of taste.
“Are you listening?” Garreth’s voice jolted you out of your snooping. You looked at him, shaking your head.
“I wasn’t, I’m sorry.” You said, your jaw still tight. Your wet clothes were extremely uncomfortable.
“I was saying that I’ll find you something dry to wear, just follow me.” He sounded equal parts amused and concerned. You nodded, and followed him up the narrow flight of stairs that led up to a loft. A four poster bed lay under the window, with a desk on one of the other walls and a large armoire across the room from the bed. The walls up here were much less bare, with the Gryffindor coat of arms hanging above the desk, and banners from different Quidditch clubs decorating the walls. He also had some artwork on the walls, including photos from school. You turned, and watched him open the doors to his armoire and dig through it looking for some dry clothing. He tossed a soft looking green jumper onto the bed, and dug around a little more before pulling out a pair of pyjama pants.
“Thank you.” You said, taking the pants out of his hand as he walked towards you. You set the pants on the bed next to the jumper. You were too cold and too uncomfortable to care that he was still in the room as you began to fumble to take off your soaked clothing. Garreth made a startled noise, whirling around and looking away from you.
“Do you want me to go?” He asked in a panicked tone.
“Don’t care. Too cold.” You mumbled, shedding your wet clothes onto the floor and pulling the jumper over your head. It was an immediate relief. It was massive, hanging almost to your knees, and so warm already. You pulled on the pyjama pants which were far too big for you. You took a step forward to pick up your wet belongings, and the pants promptly dropped right to your ankles making you giggle. Garreth turned around at the sound of your laugh, and saw the pyjama pants pooled at your feet.
“A little big, I suppose.” He said sheepishly. You waved him off, picking up the pants and putting them back onto the bed. You’d just go without, you were fully covered - what difference would it really make?
You took your wet clothes downstairs so he could get changed in peace. You pushed open the door to what you thought was the bathroom and were pleased to see you were right. Along one wall was a rope with some clothes already hanging to dry, you just added yours to the mix. You took a moment to towel dry your hair, before standing directly in front of the fire to capitalize on the pleasant heat with your eyes closed and hands outstretched.
“Enjoying yourself?” Garreth asked, and you nodded without opening your eyes. He chuckled and nudged you to the side so he could also capture some of the warmth of the fire. You blinked your eyes open, looking up at him. His hair hung in his eyes, messier than usual thanks to the rain. It was strangely intimate, seeing him in a comfy jumper and pyjama pants with wet hair. It was something so mundane, but it felt… personal. You forced your eyes back to the fire with a newfound determination to just never look at him ever again. Your eyes slowly closed again, this time from the day’s journey catching up with you. Garreth huffed another laugh, and hooked an arm around you to help you back up the stairs to his bedroom.
“You’re asleep on your feet, you can just sleep here.” He said, helping you sit down on his bed. You didn’t protest, allowing him to pull back the thick quilt while you made yourself comfortable. Garreth mumbled something about delivering the ingredients to Mr. Pippin, and he disappeared. In his absence, you couldn’t fight the sleep. You were so warm in his soft bed surrounded by the smell of him, and you drifted off to sleep.
There was no way to tell what time it was when you were startled awake by a loud clap of thunder.
“It’s only a storm.” Garreth’s voice came from the floor. You sat up, rubbing your eyes and blinking. The room wasn’t completely dark, the light from the fire downstairs gave the loft a dim light. As the blankets fell from your shoulders, you shivered against the cold air.
“What’re you doing on the floor?” You asked.
“You’re in the bed?” He said as though it was the most obvious thing in the world. You rolled your eyes and beckoned towards him.
“Don’t be stupid, you wouldn’t do anything I didn’t want you to anyways.” You grumbled. Sleeping on the ground? You were adults, you could share a bed. You’d only bite if he asked, anyways. He stood up and sat down on the edge of the bed beside you. You absently reached out and fixed his hair so it wasn’t in his eyes. His eyes searched your face with a cautious expression.
“Am I a fool?” Garreth asked you suddenly, making you frown.
“A fool? What for?” You asked.
“For thinking that there is something to that look in your eyes. That there is some part of you who might want more,” Garreth’s hand closed around your arm and you stared at him stupidly, “there have been so many times I’ve wondered if I should just kiss you, or if it’s all a hopeless daydream. This past year without getting to see that look has been agony. I haven’t known if it was all in my head, if you were with Sallow or someone else, if I ever stood a chance.” An agonized look passed across his face in the dim lighting and he looked away from you. All of your breath left your body like you’d been punched in the chest. This day truly had taken a turn you’d never expected.
“Gar…” You murmured.
“A week ago, I’d thought that I could try to move on, and now you’re here. You’re in my house, you’re in my clothes, in my bed… I feel like I’m going mad.” His voice was thick with emotion, and his distress was visible. His hand left your arm. Garreth reached towards your face, but hesitated and started to pull his hand back. You took it and brought it to your cheek.
“I..” You opened your mouth, cursing your sleep-addled brain for being unable to come up with a reasonable response. You wanted to tell him how you felt about him. You wanted to tell him that you loved him, and you’d been hoping and wishing he’d say he felt the same about you. A flash of lightning showed Garreth’s pained expression as he awaited your response. There weren’t enough words in the world that could adequately describe the way he made you feel. You would rearrange all the stars in the sky if he asked you to, and you didn’t know how to tell him that.
“I love you.” You whispered instead, and watched as Garreth’s expression changed from stunned to bright as sunshine. You let out a gasp as he lunged forward and kissed you with so much fervor he knocked you onto your back. He pulled back and started to apologize, so you wrapped your arms around him and tugged him back down as you kissed him. Garreth’s strong arms held you tight against him. His kiss was sweet as honey, and you poured every drop of emotion you held into it. You might not be able to tell him how you feel, but you could certainly show him. As your tongue brushed against his lower lip, Garreth let out a groan that seemed to settle right between your legs. You wondered what other delightful noises he was capable of, arousal swiftly spreading through you.
You spread your legs a little bit, and he fell right between them with a surprised noise. He lifted his head a little, looking at you with a look of disbelief. You could see the want in his eyes, but you could also see the hesitation. You gently squeezed his waist with your bare thighs, and you could see his cheeks going an even darker red.
“I want you.” You whispered, tugging him down for another kiss. Garreth relented with a gleeful look in his eye, his hands gripping your hips holding you in place as he gently ground against you. He kissed you deeply, his tongue lazily exploring your mouth. His broad hands slowly moved under your borrowed jumper, stroking over your skin slowly and gently. The feeling of his skin against yours was heavenly, and he already had you wanting more. It was unfair that he had this effect on you.
“You have my heart, darling.” Garreth murmured against your lips, his fingers curling slightly into your skin. You couldn’t stop your smile, your heart beating just a little bit faster. You’d waited years to hear those words. Garreth’s lips trailed kisses along your jaw and down your neck. He nipped gently at your pulse. His hands worked in time with his kisses, pushing up the jumper to expose more of your skin to him. Impatiently, you pushed him back a little bit and pulled it over your head, dumping it onto the floor. Garreth’s green eyes scanned you up and down, his jaw slack. You wondered if you’d caught him off guard by being completely bare under his jumper.
“You’re beautiful.” Garreth breathed out, his hands reverently running over your skin without restraint. Your back arched as his warm hands cupped your tight breasts, massaging you. The slight roughness to his hands made the most delightful sensations on your skin, you let out a small string of moans as he gently tweaked your already sensitive nipples. He continued to grind against you, becoming more breathless himself. You looked down, watching him work his hands over your skin. He moved them lower, and lower, making sure he touched every inch of your skin with his burning hands. You were panting now, wriggling under his touch as his hands smoothed over your belly and down onto your thighs. You ached for him, needing him to give you some sort of relief to the pressure that had built up between your legs. “Please, Garreth, touch me.” You whined out.
“I am touching you,” He said with his most charming grin, “I’ve wanted this for years, I intend to take my time.” He whispered in your ear, before giving your neck a sharp nip.
“Bastard.” You said, despite the smile that played on your lips.
“Do you have any idea what someone like you does to a teenage boy? Seeing you every day at school and not having you was torture” His tongue traced up your jaw and you whimpered. You captured his lips in another kiss, wondering if you could tempt him into giving you what you wanted. He groaned against your mouth at the feeling of your kiss, you pulled out all of your favourite tricks, proving to him you could do many things with your tongue. Your wicked little plan seemed to be working, until Garreth pulled back and looked at you with soft eyes. He began to press kisses all over your face. Your cheeks, the tip of your nose, oh-so-gently over your eyelids, and onto your forehead. He held your thighs in a bruising grip, contrasting with the sweet kisses that now were trailing down your jaw, onto your neck, then down your collar. You were a whining mess as he massaged circles on your inner thighs and kissed every part of your body until his lips hovered just below your belly button. His hands on your thighs tugged you so your lower half was dangling off the side of the bed.
“Please Garreth.” You whispered, certain you’d burst into flames if he didn’t do something. He looked up at you with hungry eyes, a smile playing at his lips.
“Anything for you.” He promised, getting on his knees and guiding your legs to rest on his shoulders. He held them in place and licked a firm stripe against your soaked, aching heat and moaned. Your eyes rolled back and you let out a loud moan of your own. He concentrated on your aching clit, his tongue swirling around it carefully before he gently wrapped his lips around you and sucked. You arched into him, crying out loudly because of this. He let out a hum of appreciation, squeezing your thighs. You propped yourself up onto your elbows to watch him. His eyes were closed, and his head dipped and you felt him tonguing at your soaking hole before he moved back up to latch onto your clit again. This time, his tongue flicked across your sensitive nub while he sucked it and you swore violently, your hands gripping the sheets tightly. Your hips bucked, and he planted one of his hands on your belly to firmly hold you in place. Your core tightened, pressure building inside of you as he kept up the same motion.
“I’m– Oh Merlin– That’s…” You couldn’t string a sentence together, and the pressure reached its peak and you cried out as a mind-shattering orgasm crashed over you. Your thighs clenched tight around Garreth, and he let out a moan that added to the sensation of his tongue and lips while you rode out your orgasm on his face. He only stopped when your legs twitched, and he was laughing softly as he pulled away from you. You stared at him, your jaw slack. He was a mess, and he was beautiful. The lower half of his face was shining with your slick, his cheeks flushed, and his smile was more than a little arrogant. Your eyes scanned down his body to the bulge in his pants, and then back up to his face. Another flash of lightning lit up the room, almost reminding you to move. You pushed yourself back enough that you could sit up and reach out for him.
“You, taste amazing.” Garreth murmured to you, stepping in closer so you could reach him. You palmed the bulge in his pants, and he let out a flustered breath. You hadn’t the patience to toy with him, that would have to come another day. You wanted him inside of you now. You pulled his pants down, looking up at him while you did so. His thick cock sprang out, and you let out a little eager whimper at just the thought of him being inside of you. You looked up at him, and he was watching you with love and hunger in his eyes.
“Come here.” You said, pushing yourself back on the bed and spreading your legs a little bit in invitation. Garreth flashed you an eager smile, pulling his shirt over his head and dumping it on the floor. He stepped out of his pants and crawled onto the bed between your legs. You wrap your arms behind his neck, and lick from his chin up to his cheek tasting yourself on his skin. Garreth let out a strangled moan, and tilted his head to capture you in a scorching kiss. You can almost feel that he’s reached his limit, and now he needs reprieve from his aching arousal. He grinds into you, his head dropping as he does so. You reach down, and guide him to what he seems to be so desperate to have.
“Oh fuck.” Garreth hisses as he slowly presses into you, his teeth gently clamping down on your shoulder. You couldn’t even make a noise as your eyes squeezed shut at the sensation of Garreth’s thick cock stretching you out. As he fully sheathed himself in you, he stopped moving.
He lifted his head, looking down into your eyes. His adoration was clear in his eyes, and it caught you a little off-guard. You’d taken men to bed before, but not once had it been someone you loved. This emotional connection you felt to Garreth… It made this feel so much… more.
“I love you, Garreth.” You reached up and traced your fingers along his jaw. Garreth’s hips began to roll slowly, and he gave you a sweet kiss. He thrust into you with a slow and deep rhythm that had you whining and clawing at his back. The delicious way he stretched you out, paired with the way his pelvis ground against your sensitive nub had you in ecstasy. He clearly felt the same, with the pants and quiet moans that escaped his lips at every movement he made.
“You feel amazing, Darling,” Garreth whispered to you, “You take me so well. You’re perfect.” He continued with his little praises as he ground into you. He picked up his pace ever so slightly, the steady thrusts had you clenching around his cock already. His forehead dipped and pressed against yours, his hands on your hips as he pulled you against him to get as deep as he could. You planted your feet on the mattress, lifting your hips to help get a new angle. Garreth’s groan was sinful, he sat back on his knees and abruptly began to pound into you. Your eyes rolled back, your pleasure peaking again.
“Right there, shit… right there.” You panted out, and Garreth obliged your wishes. You screamed out his name as your knees buckled and you came hard. The bolts of pleasure had your eyes screwed shut and your mouth making incoherent sounds. He caught you by the waist, holding you up as your walls pulsed over his cock. He fucked you, his groans becoming more and more guttural as he chased his own pleasure. His grip on you tightened almost painfully as his head fell back and he came, thick ropes of cum painting your insides. He allowed you to fall back on the bed now, flopping down beside you. For a long time, the only sounds in the room were the storm still raging outside and the sounds of you and Garreth trying to catch your breath. Eventually, you got enough energy to roll over and nestle into Garreth’s side, with your head on his chest. You stretched up and kissed his jaw, and his arms wrapped around you.
“I don’t want morning to come.” Garreth said, his voice soft. Morning meant returning to reality. Garreth would have to go to work, and you’d have to return to Feldcroft.
“Mmm, neither do I.” You agreed. You didn’t want to leave. You knew that you’d made a promise to take care of Anne, but she was spending so much time in London these days that you almost wondered if she would just move in with Ominis and Sebastian.
“Please don’t ever leave…” He said.
“I’ll have to get my things.”
“That’s alright, I’ll help you with that. Mr. Pippin won’t mind if I take a couple days off.”
“And I’ll have to tell Anne.”
“I’ll write a letter to send by owl right now.” “And then there’s the matter of you meeting my parents…”
When Garreth didn’t have a quick solution for that, you let out a little laugh. You would stay, regardless of how much work you’d have to do. You never wanted to leave his side again.
“Will you stay?” He asked.
“I’m not going anywhere, Garreth. I’m staying right here.” You promised, kissing his cheek. With a cheeky grin, he rolled over and loomed over you and captured you in a deep kiss, his hand smoothing along your waist. Yes, you’d stay.

Imagine dating Garreth Weasley and you both get detention
"I can't believe this." Professor Weasley paced around the transfiguration classroom as you and Garreth sat motionless on one of the desks in complete silence. Garreth had the marvelous idea for a new potion that could increase the drinker's...endurance and you decided to help him if not for results, for laughs. You yourself had suggested that devious idea to...why not drink such a potion and spend the rest of the day and night in the room of requirements. Potions was your one and only class for the day anyway.
You yourself had brought the ingredients he asked you to bring from prof. Sharp's office and all was going well, you were giggling at your cauldron mischievously and whispering to each other...until the cauldron started shaking and bubbling uncontrollably. You looked at each other nervously and froze when you heard the potions professor clear his throat behind you.
"What in Merlin's name are you two brewing back here?" He asked, eyeing you suspiciously. At this point the cauldron was ready to explode. "We, uh..." Garreth started. "We were just..." you tried to think of the best solution to not make this awkward in front of him and the class who were all staring at this point.
Your heart stopped beating when you noticed Sharp leaning over the cauldron. "Professor, no!" But it was too late. The cauldron exploded in a wave of purple vapor and covered the man in its contents. You and Garreth sucked in a breath, afraid of what the aftermath would be. When the purple cloud cleared from him, you noticed that the potion had made his hair a poisonous shade of blue and his face - that which rather resembled a horse. He tried his best to not explode in a fit of rage and only hissed threateningly "Go to professor Weasley's office. Now." Even his voice had become more squeaky. The rest of the class tried to laugh quietly, but the noises were shut down as soon as the man looked them all one by one, as if daring them to laugh.
Honestly, as ridiculous as it seemed, you were relieved the potion went wrong. How awkward would it be if the class found out its intention. So you sighed in relief, happy you got the lesser evil. Garreth's aunt wasn't so happy tho. She had almost lost it when you two walked in.
"Seven years in Hogwarts and you haven't matured one bit!" She yelled. "What will it take for you to realize your recklessness won't be tolerated outside of Hogwarts?! How many detentions will it take?! What do you have to say for yourself?"
You bowed your head low in apology "I'm so sorry, professor. We didn't intend..." but she cut you off. "Oh, I'm not talking to you, dear." You and Garreth both looked at her, puzzled "I know my nephew dragged you into this mess and you went along because you're too kind to him." Garreth opened his mouth to say something, but no words came out from it, as he was too surprised. "Wha-" you questioned. "Garreth, shame on you for risking this brilliant young person's academic future for a moment of fun in class."
"But..."
"What was the purpose of this potion?" She asked. You both blushed and looked at each other, Garreth seemingly more red than you, as his freckles had become very much more noticeable. "It was just an assignment gone wrong." He explained. "Don't lie to me. If it was an assignment, Y/N would not be sneaking into professor Sharp's office behind his back."
"It was my idea, professor, I swear. Garreth shouldn't get detention because of me." You evaded the question, bowing your head again. "Look at this, Garreth. They are even ready to take the blame for you and you treat them like this?"
Garreth was taken aback again, thousands of questions in his eyes, but not knowing where to even begin to defend himself. "But, auntie..." he was cut off. "Don't 'auntie' me, Garreth. You will stay here and think about what you did." With a wave of her wand, she conjured a large, thick book in front of him and a parchment paper with a quill "You will study the potion ingredients you used and write down exactly why and how your potion went wrong so it doesn't happen again in the future. Then you will write the correct way to brew it. Understood?"
"And what about me, professor?" You asked. "You will enjoy a trip to Honeydukes, because this must have been a terrible experience for you, dear." You tried your best not to laugh from the surprise and the even more confused expression on Garreth's face. "Thank you, professor. It won't happen again." You stood up from your seat with a smile. "You better bring me something from Honeydukes on your way back..." Garreth whispered. "It better not happen again. I know you mean well, but you shouldn't allow yourself to be fetched into such shenanigans."
"But it was Y/N's idea..." Garreth whined quietly.

Summery: Garreth is wonderful at Potions, so who better to ask for help with homework? And, of course he wouldn't say no. Why would he say no to his friend of seven years? Especially when she makes him feel so nice inside.
Garreth,
I could use some help with my Potions homework.
I’ll be in Sharp's room this afternoon if you have some time.
Emilia
Emilia let out an anxious breath as the owl flew off with the small piece of parchment in its mouth. Garreth Weasley had been making her anxious a lot, as of late. Something about how she felt the butterflies in her stomach whenever she saw his red hair in the halls, or the way his laugh alone could make her laugh. It didn’t matter why he was laughing, it was just contagious to her.
She hated not knowing why things happened to her. Why his eyes on her made her face burn. Why she felt little jolts of electricity when their hands touched for just a moment while handing each other potion ingredients in class. Why the time she caught a whiff of his cologne she thought she would melt on the spot. Why she found herself looking for him wherever she went in the damned school. She hated it.
Unbeknownst to her, Garreth had been doing his own version of questioning himself. He had been friends with Emilia since their very first day at the sorting ceremony.
Garreth made his way off one of the boats at the school’s dock. His wobbling legs led him to almost fall between the crack separating the wooden ledge of the small vessel and the solid (and very stable) stone face of the dock. The Black Lake smell was dangerously close to his senses. He hadn’t realized he had his eyes closed until he shot them open at the sudden feeling of someone holding onto his arm. He looked back over his shoulder to see another first year staring down at him, Her pale blue eyes shining in the light of the moon and her loose braid dangling over her shoulder as she leaned over to catch him.
“Are you going to sit like that all night?” She asked him with a small smile.
Oh, she’s a jokester, is she?
“Well, I’ll have you know, I quite like the view of the lake from here,” He shot back with a small smirk of amusement.
He realized that maybe that wasn’t the best answer in his current situation–being as she could soon as just drop him. Then, as if that was the purpose of his words, she laughed, her shoulders shaking as she chuckled.
And then he felt his arm slipping through her grip.
Suddenly he was cold and wet and peeved.
After some grumbling on his part, and laughing on her’s, she managed to pull him from the lake without getting herself wet in the process. She didn’t give him much more time to complain at her before she cast a drying charm on him with a quick flick of her wand.
She couldn’t help but tease him the whole way up to the castle. And he found himself shooting teases right back at her.
It was only right that the pair should both be sorted into Gryffindor. Why would someone want to separate such a budding friendship?
He thought about that moment often. How he wouldn’t have his best friend by his side if it wasn’t for a little slip all those years ago. Seven long and brilliant years of friendship with her. She was always right by his side as he tested new potions–and because of that, also right there with him when he gained himself a scolding or detention from Professor Sharp.
She always laughed at his jokes, ever since that first day. He found himself craving the sound of her laughter more and more as of late. Something about her laughing because of him made his chest swell with pride. It was a good thing he was born with the ability to make people laugh, or he might go crazy searching for the sweet sound that escaped her lips.
Her lips.
That was another thing. He found himself watching her lips as well. He couldn’t tell you why, but he found himself imagining what they felt like. Were they soft? Were they as plump as they looked?
And that was just a few of the new problems he seemed to be having when she was around. The list seemed  never ending when  he found new things to add to it everyday.
He was brought from his thoughts as something light smacked him in the face.
He blinked a few times and looked down at the envelope now sitting in front of him. It was a good thing he had finished his lunch already, or it would have fallen straight into his plate.
He turned it over to see his name in a beautiful cursive. He knew exactly who it belonged to and that made his heart start to pick up its pace behind his ribs.
Without another thought, he almost tore the thing as he hurriedly tried to get to its contents and read the short note.
She slowly made her way back to the castle. Each step made her heart beat faster and harder in her chest. He was just her friend. She wasn’t even sure he would have the time to spare. Her mind swirled with more of those thoughts as she walked through the corridors down to the dungeons. The stone under her feet and surrounding her echoing her steps.
She could already smell something brewing as the scent wafted through the hallway. She turned the corner into the Potions classroom to see Garreth already there. He had his head bent over a piece of parchment as he took notes. A cauldron was already being heated and ingredients already strewn about the station.
She couldn’t help the smile that grew quickly on her face as she took in the scene before her.
He had taken his robes and jacket off, opting for just his vest–that he had already unbuttoned–and she noticed his tie hung loosely around the neck of his shirt that he had unbuttoned as well. His sleeves were messily rolled up to his elbows, leaving his wonderfully freckled forearms in plain view for her.
She felt the heat spreading across her face again as she greedily took him in.
“Em!”
She snapped her head to meet his gaze. She realized she had been off in her own world, just standing in the doorway like an idiot.
She smiled and quickly walked over to him, hoping he didn’t realize that she had just been staring at him, “Gar. I see you’re getting started without me.”
He chuckled as he threw a handful of freshly chopped Dittany into the cauldron and stirred it lightly, “So, we’re already starting off grumpy, are we?”
Grumpy?
“I’m not grumpy.” She crossed her arms.
He turned to face her fully, a look in his eyes she could only explain as mischief, “Not grumpy, eh?”
She nodded, “Not grumpy.”
He looked her up and down for a moment, a devious smirk beginning to pull at his lips, “Hmmm.”
And that’s when it clicked, “Garreth-”
She was cut off by her own laughter as his fingers lunged into her sides, tickling her furiously. He was laughing too, the bastard.
She tried to wiggle out of his grip, pleading for him to stop between taking breaths and giggling. He wouldn’t let up, his signature goofy smile on his face the whole time.
That bloody smile that made her feel warm inside. She turned around to run, but to no avail. He swiftly wrapped an arm around her waist and pulled her back into his chest, his fingers still attacking her right side as he did so.
She hadn’t realized how strong he was. She tried her best to wiggle out of his grip, which only made his arm around her tighten and her back press further into his chest. After another moment, she felt his fingers slow to a stop, his laughter falling away as well. Her hands that were firmly on his arm a moment ago now gently rested, her skin against his. She could feel his breathing against her back as his chest rose and fell with each breath. She could feel those breaths washing down her cheek and neck as they stood there, her still firmly encircled in him.
She should move, right? Take a step out of his arms. She found, to her surprise, that she didn’t want to. She wanted to stay exactly where she was. Her skin was tingling and her mind was spinning.
Why wasn’t he moving to let her go? Why did she feel like the butterflies in her chest were trying to crawl their way out? Why did she feel safe?
Her mind was brought back to the moment as Garreth gently whispered her name.
She spun her body slightly to look up at him, his hand sliding to rest on her hip as she did so.
Those wonderful green eyes that she loved so much were full of admiration and something she couldn’t quite place.
He spoke, barely a whisper. She wouldn’t have even heard him if they weren’t so close at that moment. She could feel the heat that everyone of his breaths left in its wake on her face, “Emilia…..I’m going to do something, and I don’t know what’s going to happen after, but I can’t hold myself back any more.”
“Wh-”
And then he kissed her.
He kissed her.
If her heart wasn’t already beating a mile a minute, he was now. She took a sharp breath in through her nose as his lips found hers.
His soft, wonderful lips. She had never known she needed something so badly in her life.
Her eyes fluttered closed as his hands made their way to the nape of her neck, thumbs resting gingerly behind her ears. She rested her hands against his chest, which caused him to take another quick breath.
The only sounds that filled the room at that moment were a slowly bubbling cauldron and lips working together gingerly in a wonderfully sweet kiss.
After what felt like forever and not long enough all at once, he spoke again, “I..Wow, I never imagined it would be this nice.”
“Imagined?” She asked, a little shocked at his confession.
She saw his face grow pink under those freckles she found herself loving more as each second ticked by.
“Well, yeah” He chuckled, “I’ve been dying to kiss you for a lot longer than I’d care to admit.”
She found herself smiling up at him, “Oh, well, in that case. I’ll just have to get the answer out of you.”
He raised a brow questioningly at her, “Oh? And how do you plan on doing that, Miss Findley?”
She smirked, “That’s for me to know and you to find out.”
“As long as I can kiss you again, I don’t much mind what you do.”
That was all the invitation she needed to practically leap into him as she kissed him again. His lips fought back with a new hunger that was starkly laking before. Like he was being given water after a long walk through a desert. She wasn’t complaining, she found herself to live for the feeling. The feeling of him thirsty for something only she could give him.
She only hoped that he would continue this little study session, together and alone. Anything could happen, right?
As if he was reading her mind, she quickly felt his hands pick her up and set her on the table next to all of the homework they were supposed to be doing, slotting himself between her legs as he started letting his hands roam. She let out a small gasp as his lips left hers to find the soft skin of her neck, sucking lightly.
She could feel him smile into her skin as she reacted to him, “You do things to me, Em….So many things.”
She couldn’t help but giggle before pulling his head back to look at her, “Well, you can show me what I do to you later. We have homework to get done, and I don’t much feel like failing.”
He pouted, “Oh, come on, just a little?”
She wrapped her fingers around his tie and pulled him in, bringing her lips to his ear, “Later, you can show me whatever you want.”His breath caught as he felt her breath caress his ear. Oh, he would be showing her a lot after they got this blasted Potions homework done.

Potions for Brains
Tumblr media
Curly wisps of ginger bounce around with each movement. An emerald gaze that narrows with focus. Pale skin speckled thoroughly. And the tip of a tongue poked out the corner of plump pink lips as he ever so precisely poured some ingredient into his cauldron. Oh how absolutely adorable he was. Garreth Weasley.
“You're staring again,” Poppy’s cheerful and playfully teasing tone broke your infatuated gazing. Warmth fills your cheeks turning them nearly as red as the Gryffindor robes that your previous focus dawned.
“I was not. I was simply curious what unruly concoction he’s brewing today,” you defensively argued with the slightest of huffs. Poppy’s warm brown eyes rolled with a light snicker and shake of her head.
“As if you don’t ogle him every time we have potions or see him in the halls. You have fallen mad for him! If he wasn’t so oblivious to anything other than his potion making he would be just as aware as the rest of us.”
As much as you would try to deny your interest in the chaos causing, potion obsessed gryffindor you truly couldn’t hide it. And Poppy was quite right, Weasly was much too preoccupied with his potions to notice, but not the rest of Hogwarts. Even Imelda Reyes had begun making remarks about losing the contents of her stomach if she had to witness all these
“bloody lovey-dovey bollocks” as she’d put it, into the next term.
With a deep sigh as you stirred your potion, and a glance toward him once more you finally responded to Poppy with a shakiness.
“I-I suppose I could ask for some potions tutoring. My grades haven’t been faring well as of late.” Poppy’s features light up and grow nearly as big as those of a mooncalf in response and she gleefully squeals, earning an abundance of confused glances and a stern scolding from Professor Sharp.
- - -
Class had gone as smoothly as any potions course with Garreth did, ending with an abrupt explosion, points from Gryffindor, and turning in one's potion (if it survived). The only difference being a light pressure to your back sending you in the direction of some slightly tinged ginger curls. Catching yourself, having nearly bumped into the back of the wielder of those curls, with rose tinted cheeks you toss a glare over your shoulder at a very pleased and excited Poppy.
Bump!
“Oops pardon me! I didn’t see you there!” For a moment your eyes are like saucers, did you have an invisibility potion on hand, or maybe you could transfigure yourself into something like a mouse to scurry out of the situation with great haste. To your utter panic it was far too late for either scenario, those emerald gems for irises had already landed upon you.
“No n-no! It was my fault! I-My apologies!” Bollocks you couldn’t seem to even apologize without stumbling over each word, not when his gaze and proximity was making your heart hammer into your chest like some sort of enchantment for blacksmiths. Taking a step back to allow yourself breathing room, you take one slow deep breath, knitting your clammy fingers behind your back. Try as you might, you can’t force your eyes up to meet him, so you settle for gazing upon his cauldron.
“Oh!” Garreth suddenly lets out, raising a pale and broad hand to rub the back of his neck with a dry chuckle.
“That was a minor inconvenience. A slight setback. I am still the finest potions crafter wizard kind has yet to see!” His confidence was just as unwavering as ever it would seem, but it brought a slight smile to your face, it seems to spark some courage and confidence within you, to move forward with your plan.
“Actually, I’m quite aware of your potion skills. I actually approached you in hopes of acquiring some tutoring in the subject. I’ll admit my skills are quite lacking in comparison.” In truth your potions skills were quite average, when your mind wasn’t captivated by mapping each individual freckle on Weasley’s cheek and fantasizing about kissing each one. However Garreth, like many Gryffindors had a lot of confidence, maybe too much at times, so an assured method of gaining their attention and/or companionship was to feed their egos.
It’s as if the sparks and embers from his earlier mishap seem to flicker in his eyes with your words, fueling his confidence even more.
“Well you have come to the right potioneer for the job! I will have you brewing Eduras and Sleeping Drought with as much ease as a seventh year casting Lumos, you’ll see!” His smile stretched so gleefully across his features with the slightest of dimples cupping the ends ever so favorably. Oh how you that smile encouraged one of your own, and filled your chest with so much warmth. And all the while the smoke scented fifth year was oblivious to having basically cast Incendio on your heart.
- - -
“EEEEEEEEeeeee!” Garreth’s frame was sent almost face first into the bubbling cauldron before him by a sudden weight that landed upon his shoulders following the contagious sound of unbridled enthusiasm. With an amused chuckle and smile of recognition adorning him, he turned to look at your beaming features.
“I made top marks in potions! All thanks to you! I even overheard Professor Sharp commending my improvement to Professor Hecat nearing the corridor!” Your eyes seemed to shimmer in the afternoon sunshine, your warm arms wrapped ever so comfortably around his broad shoulders. For once those always confident and unwavering emeralds weren’t solely focused on potions and ingredients, they gazed upon you, with such affection.
“Congratulations! Though it shouldn’t be a surprise. It was I, Garreth Weasley who tutored you.” His voice vibrated in his chest, beneath your arms, it was an odd sensation but you found it enjoyable. Yet another reason for your desire to be close to him, to press your head to his chest and not only feel those vibrations better but to listen to his heart. Did it beat like yours did, as fast or as loud?
“Sweetheart? Are you ok? You’ve gone unusually quiet on me.” His voice had softened, still just as happy and uplifting as was to be expected of him, but it held a concern that he rarely demonstrated unless one of his potion catastrophes had actually injured someone. A shiver overtakes you and your face that was sat undeniably close to his became feverish.
“A-actually, I have something I must admit…,” Unconsciously you grip his robes as your hands begin to shake. To your utter bewilderment, calloused fingers from endless ingredient harvesting and cauldron scrubbing slides over your own, giving it a gentle but firm squeeze. Meeting those reassuring gem-like eyes for a moment, you take a deep breath before slamming them closed as tightly as Professor Black’s office and finally blurting out what has been festering in your chest for the past year and life altering last few weeks.
“I didn’t actually approach you in potions because I needed assistance. I actually was pretty ordinary before. The truth is I have been utterly and madly infatuated with you for over a year! I adore everything about you from your unruly phoenix feather curl to the positively precious way your laugh gives you this huge smile that brightens every little detail of your face, like the slightly darker freckles that hide amongst the rest. Everything about you has driven my heart into a bloody frenzy… And this time with you, our late night study session and potion cleanups, have only solidified my affections toward you… so is there any possibility you have feelings for anything other than your potions?”
There was a pause, the only sound reaching your ears being your thunderous heart, the light breeze from the open window of the empty potions classroom offering little relief to your inflamed cheeks. Then a familiar rough hand touches one of said cheeks. Darting your eyes open faster than Imelda on a broom, you are met with a bright almost blinding smile and a gleaming green gaze.
“That confession was very Gryffindor of you, sweetheart. I knew I was loved by many but hearing such adoration come from those sweet lips has caught me by surprise,” his tone was as teasing and light-hearted as usual and almost broke your heart. It was as if you hadn’t just bore your heart and soul to him! Before you could fully retract yourself from his touch he used his other hand to grasp one of your arms that were just wrapped around him to pull you back.
Pulling your face closer his long awaited plump pink lips met yours. Soft, not like clouds but instead like a soft cake, and warm as if fresh from the oven. Your lips moved together, gently at first, and slowly, but then the kiss became more intense and pulled the air straight from your lungs, his tongue having found its way to meet yours. Then he abruptly pulled away, his previous smile nothing compared to the extremely cocky and obviously thrilled toothy grin that enveloped his every feature.
“How could I not have feelings for you sweetheart? It became so blatantly clear when I could no longer focus on even my most brilliant potion ideas in your presence… So now that that small matter has been established, would you mind assisting me in an inspired new brew I’ve been developing?”
Lightly bumping your nose with his own after returning some air into your depleted lungs you laughed lightly and pecked his lip.
“Blimey, those concoctions of yours truly are the clear path to your heart… And yes of course.” Your smile and his both light up the dark potions room as your love for each other is solidified and your love for potions continues to grow.

Poll ideas (for upcoming fics).
So bunnies are being rampant in my mind. I think up one idea, 3 more follows 😮‍💨 so I decided to put up a poll for a little help.
(They will all be released, this is so I can force myself to focus)
I'm focusing on one shots during 5th year as a build up for a slightly longer fic (each) featuring their 6th year.
(Of course, now I've said it, more bunnies will probably come out of the wood work)

“You’re staring,” Ominis murmured before letting out a quiet sigh. “Again.”
“She’s talking to Weasley,” Sebastian muttered back, his arms folded across his chest.
“Which one?” he asked, a wry smile slipping into his face. Ominis didn’t need to be able to see to know Sebastian was glaring at him.
“Garreth, you prat.” A brief silence fell over the pair as Sebastian continued to watch the interaction between Y/N and Garreth Weasley. Y/N threw her head back and laughed at something Garreth said, and Sebastian felt something in his chest tighten as the sun caught on the natural highlights hidden in her hair. “He can’t be that funny.” Garreth muttered something to Y/N and she turned in his direction to catch his eye. He felt every nerve in his body as she smiled sweetly at him and waved her fingers to say hello before looking back at the wizard in front of her. “He’s just using her.”
“How can you be so sure?” Ominis’ eyebrows shot up in surprise as he turned his head to look at Sebastian (he hoped he was, at least).
“Isn’t everyone?” Sebastian asked. Ominis had been there with him that fateful day in the bathrooms. They had both heard what had been said, had both heard the chorus of laughter and agreement that followed.
“Everyone but you, you mean.”
“Don’t be ridiculous, Ominis,” he looked away from Y/N to narrow his eyes at his friend beside him. “You’re not using her either.”
“Aren’t I?” Ominis asked. There was a beat of silence between them before he laughed loudly at the lack of response from the brunet, and he could almost picture the incredulous look being shot his way.
Sebastian would blame the sun, he decided, if anyone asked why he was frowning in your direction. It had come out today, and the trio had taken advantage of the warmth it provided to sit in the gardens by the north entrance for the castle. It seemed they hadn’t been the only ones to have the idea and it wasn’t long before Y/N had leapt from her position in the grass next to him to greet Natsai Onai and the red-clad gaggle that seemed to follow. Sebastian couldn’t help but begrudge Natty (who was a wonderful witch despite being in Gryffindor) from stealing you away from him. He had been content with your arm pressed against his, your legs touching as you stretched out beside him, head almost resting on his shoulder as you watched the clouds drift by.
Ominis twirled his wand idly in his hands, the sensor pulsing every-so-often to let him know Sebastian was still brooding beside him. Although he didn’t need it to, because if he listened carefully he could hear Sebastian mutter to himself occasionally as he more than likely watched Y/N from across the gardens. It wasn’t loud enough for Ominis to hear everything he was saying, but he did manage to catch phrases such as stupid Gryffindors and was just going to hold her hand. The latter made Ominis snort in amusement. Sebastian had been working up the courage to admit his feelings for the third member of their little group since the beginning of their sixth year, and now here they were nearing the end of their seventh and final year.
He had tried to tell Sebastian - time and time again - that there was nothing to fear and that he strongly suspected you returned his feelings, but he refused to listen. Ominis wouldn’t outright betray your trust and inform Sebastian of the late night conversations they shared where you voiced your concerns for the brunet, voice tinged with more than just friendly admiration. Instead, he subtly tried to push the pair together with flimsy excuses to explain his perpetual absence. Not that it did any good when either of you refused to acknowledge the Erumpent in the room.
It could be worse, he mused, I could actually have to witness the pining between them, instead of just hearing about it.
“Get up,” Sebastian nudged Ominis gently and stood up. “Come on.”
“Where are we going?”
“We’re going to save Y/N,” Sebastian replied as if it were the most obvious thing in the world.
“Y/N doesn’t need saving,” Ominis rolled his eyes, but stood up nonetheless, brushing grass from his robes. “In fact, I need to remind you that she has saved us. Several times.”
“Well, call this us returning the favour,” he tugged Ominis in the right direction softly before letting go of his robes and stalking over to where Y/N and Garreth were sat talking, set a little apart from the rest of the Gryffindors. “Y/N…Weasley.” He nodded once at the wizard and came to a stop right next to Y/N. Ominis, wand held aloft, offered the ground an awkward smile. “I can’t believe you left us for a bunch of Gryffindors,” he looked down at her, forcing a chuckle so he didn’t start an inter-house fight. “Are we not enough for you?”
“Don’t start,” Y/N laughed and rolled her eyes at him. “Garreth was just telling me about his newest potion idea.”
“Planning on getting her into more trouble by making her sneak into Sharp’s office for supplies again?” The comment earned Sebastian a nudge in the ribs from Y/N, but Garreth chuckled and shook his head.
“Actually, I was hoping Y/N would accompany me to the Forbidden Forest soon to gather some ingredients.”
“Not man enough to go it alone?” Sebastian nodded thoughtfully. The tips of Garreth’s ears were tinged pink as he looked between the three of them, before an easygoing smile fell across his features.
“Is that why you keep asking her to join you on trips to spider caves?” Ominis let a laugh slip out at Garreth’s words, and Sebastian shot him a glare for it. Y/N shuffled nervously on her feet between them all, sensing some tension simmering under the surface. She wasn’t sure why they were both standing there, chests puffed out, and had a feeling she didn’t want to know. The only one who didn’t seem to be stancing was Ominis, who looked just as out of place as she felt.
“I don’t mind going into the forest,” Y/N supplied quietly. Two pairs of eyes shot her way, and Ominis looked a little to her left. “I mean, I need to go anyway. Ms Bugbrooke asked me to go and check in on a unicorn she named Hazel and find a way to keep her safe.”
“I thought we were going to go do that this weekend?” Sebastian asked.
“You could all go,” Ominis supplied. He could feel Y/N relax from beside him, her hand reaching between their robes to squeeze his arm in gratitude. “Saves for multiple trips to the forest.”
“I don’t think that’s wise,” Sebastian frowned, crossing his arms. Garreth gave them all a half-hearted smile and shrugged.
“You let me know, Y/N. I’ve got to get to Charms, I can’t be late again or Ronen will tell my aunt,” he shuddered at the thought and waved goodbye to the three of them before turning to walk away. Y/N offered Garreth a forced smile as he left and waited until he was well out of earshot before whirling around to face Sebastian and hit him with her glove.
“What was that?”
“What was what?”
“Don’t play dumb, Sebastian. It doesn’t become you.”
“Sweetheart, everything becomes me,” he sent her a cocky grin, his body language loosening now that Garreth was gone. “Do you want me to walk you - both of you - to class?” He bent down to pick up her discarded bag and slung it over his shoulder.
“Don’t change the subject,” she sighed in annoyance, her eyes narrowing. “You always seem to do this whenever I’m speaking to someone.”
“I don’t do it to Poppy, Natty, Imelda, or Ominis.”
“Please, leave me out of this,” Ominis muttered, looking away from them as they began to walk to the castle for class. Even though he knew he couldn’t see it, Sebastian still shot his friend a look as if to say way to back me up, help me out here and hoped he would get the message. The trio walked in silence until they passed the History of Magic classroom.
“Why don’t you let me talk to any of our classmates?”
“You’re talking to me, aren’t you? And you speak to Ominis all the time,” Sebastian gestured at his friend, who cringed internally at being brought back into this. He hoped if he kept silent that they would forget he was there, and perhaps he could sneak off and make it to class on his own. Not that it would do much good - he shared his next class with Y/N, and Sebastian was sure to follow. They had overheard a conversation between her, Imelda, Poppy and Natty about the chivalrous actions some of the wizards at the school took to get the attention of the witches and which ones in particular seemed to charm the girls the most. Ever since then Sebastian had held her school bag and walked her to every class.
“Stop trying to be charming, Sebastian. I’m annoyed at you.”
“You think I’m charming?” Sebastian grinned down at her, earning a quiet whack as she hit him with her glove again. “Why are you so violent today?”
“Why are you so bothersome today?” she shot back. Ominis smiled to himself and walked a little faster. As much as he enjoyed hearing Y/N rip into Sebastian, he did not want to get caught in the middle.
Y/N wrapped her arms around herself, trying to fight the chill that lingered in the stone walls after the warmth they had felt outside. Sebastian had been acting differently lately. Some days he was attentive, almost sweet; others like today, he was a nuisance, plain and simple. She never knew who she was going to get - the man who greeted her with coffee and a smile in the mornings, his hand lingering on hers after he handed her the mug, or the sulking mass walking by her. Her eyes fell on his back, watching as his muscles rippled through the white shirt, at her bag hanging on his shoulder.
He never aimed that gruffness in her direction, she realised. Even now, he was holding her bag for her and looked over his shoulder to see if she was still with them, a breathtaking smile falling on his face when he caught her eye. It was only ever when one of their male classmates spoke to her, standing a little too close that he began to act out, and despite his protests that she spoke to Ominis, she had seen him do it with him too. It was to a lesser scale, but even this morning he had placed himself between the pair as they all sat in the sun, his shoulder pressed against hers.
“Why won’t you let me speak to any men?” the words slipped out of her mouth before she could process them. Sebastian came to a stop and looked at her in confusion. She was vaguely aware of Ominis slowing as well from in front of them, a low groan escaping from him.
“What?”
“That conversation you were having with Garreth wasn’t exactly pleasant, and it’s not the first time this has happened.” Sebastian watched as she twisted her fingers together nervously and longed to take her hand in his. “Don’t you want me to be happy?”
“You think Weasley is going to make you happy?” Sebastian raised an eyebrow.
“I-I don’t know! But how am I meant to find out when you keep…”
“When I keep…?” His casual tone infuriated Y/N, and judging by the amusement in his eye and the twitch in the corner of his mouth, he knew it.
“When you keep acting so possessive!”
“Maybe I’m just a good judge of character and know none of those simpering idiots who keep coming over are enough for you.”
“Enough for me - ” Ire flared at his words and she gave him a withering look. “You have some nerve, Sebastian Sallow. And you,” she glared at Ominis, who had the decency to look a little frazzled at her anger. “I expected better from you, you’re always by his side whenever this happens. Care to explain yourself?” Ominis shook his head slowly and backed away a few steps as Sebatian came forward.
“Don’t take it out on him, he had no part in this.”
“Good to know the stupidity started and ended with you, then,” Y/N snapped. She turned her back on him and walked a few steps away to calm down. “Why do you always do this to me, Sebastian? Give me one good reason why you keep acting out like this.”
“I’m only looking out for your best interests. You need someone who will challenge you,” Sebastian stood taller, annoyance flashing in his eyes. “Not a lapdog who will roll over every time you call their name. You need an equal.” Ominis grimaced at his best friend's words and slowly began to back away. He didn’t make it too far before someone bumped into him, pausing to listen to the argument occurring in the hallway.
“Who are you to presume anything about my happiness?” Y/N stalked forward to poke Sebastian in the chest roughly. “Who would even fit within your insane standards for me? Who would challenge me, make me happy, treat me as their equal?” she asked, all but spitting the words at him. “You?”
“Maybe.” Sebastian shrugged, not quite meeting her eye as he shuffled between his feet nervously.
“You…” Y/N let out an incredulous laugh. “You’re something else, Sallow.” In all the times Y/N had imagined Sebastian admitting he may return his feelings for her it never went like this, in a corridor attracting the attention of their classmates with their fight. “I have done nothing but wait for you to notice me for two years, Sebastian. And when I finally realise you’ll never see me the way I want and decide to move on, that’s when you’re determined to want me?”
“I don’t just want you,” his voice was hoarse with her declaration. Two years? How could she not see that I’ve noticed her, that I've only ever noticed her? How could this have gone wrong so fast.
“You’re nothing but a jealous coward.” With one final poke to the chest, Y/N took her bag and started to walk away from him and the little crowd that had gathered.
“You think I don’t know how selfish I’m being?” Sebastian called out, suddenly finding his voice. He followed her path, near enough pushing anyone aside who stood in his way. “I would give anything - anything - to go back to that day we first met. Back when all you were was Atë personified, before I realised how absolutely breathtaking every inch of your soul is. You’ve ruined me, Y/N!”
“And that’s my fault?”
“I’m not saying that!” Sebastian groaned and reached for the sleeve of her robe to pull her to a stop. He quickly rescinded his hand when she shot him a menacing glare as if to say I dare you.
“Then what are you saying?” she asked. Doubt clutched him, stopping the words from leaving his mouth. He must have waited a beat too long to respond because Y/N sighed, and the disappointment on her face was enough to bring him to his knees as she continued to walk away from him, the students they had attracted parting to let her through. She had made it halfway down the corridor when sharp panic squeezed his chest tightly.
“I’m in love with you!” he shouted after her. His face flamed at the confession, at the sudden whispers of those around him as his words echoed down the stone corridor. Y/N stopped, and for a second Sebastian felt hope that she would turn around and say she loved him too. That it was him she wanted, who she always wanted.
“Well, you have a funny way of showing it.” He watched in despair as she walked away from him, slipping through the doors that would take her into another hall. There was a dull roaring in his ears, drowning out the sudden whispers that had started around him. A gentle hand landed on his shoulder and he looked over slowly to see Ominis, a grim look on his face. Sebastian couldn’t bear to see the sympathy in his gaze, to hear the voices around him talking about his rejected confession.
“All right, show’s over!” he growled, shaking Ominis’ hand from his shoulder. “Everyone clear off.” He rolled his shoulders and stood a little straighter before stalking down the corridor. The younger students jumped out of his way, and he caught the looks of pity from those in his year. Poppy tried to step forward and speak to him, but he just shook his head at her and walked out of the hall and made his way to the Undercroft.
*~*~*~*~*
It had been nearly a week since Y/N and Sebastian’s argument in the middle of the hallway and she could still hear people whisper about it as she walked by, as if she couldn’t hear a word they were saying. A group of Ravenclaws were sitting at a table in the library near Y/N, Poppy and Imelda, and every-so-often they looked over and started to giggle.
“Just ignore them,” Poppy murmured to her.
“No,” Imelda glared at the group, who immediately quieted down and looked away. “They need to learn to keep their mouths shut, or I’ll do it for them.” She raised her voice just enough for them to hear her threat and they quickly packed their things and left in a flurry of navy robes.
“You can’t threaten everyone in the school, Imelda,” Y/N said with a sigh, not looking up from her Charms textbook. Another group would soon come and replace that one, and the cycle would just repeat itself.
“Watch me.” Her grin was unnerving to say the least. “What’s he doing in here?” Y/N looked up to see Sebastian walking up the stairs into the upper part of the library where they were currently sitting. He looked around, a little unsure of himself and Y/N’s heart clenched in her chest at the sight. He always looked so confident, even when he was utterly terrified, but now he just looked lost. “He better not come over here.”
“Imelda,” Poppy sighed and shook her head. “We don’t even know if he’s here for Y/N, he could be here to study.” Even though Poppy was right, Y/N couldn’t help but wish that he was here for her, that he wanted to speak to her.
“No you don’t, wipe that look off your face,” Imelda pointed her quill at Y/N. “Don’t go mooning over him after what he’s put you through. You don’t need someone who’s going to treat you that poorly.”
“He doesn’t exactly look great himself.”
“Who’s side are you on, Sweeting?”
“I didn’t realise there were any.” Y/N rolled her eyes as the pair continued to bicker, her gaze turning back to Sebastian, who had turned in their direction as he heard Poppy and Imelda arguing. He caught her eye and began to slowly make his way to their table, casting a weary glance at Imelda as he neared.
“What do you want, Sallow?” Imelda snapped at him, turning on him as he got closer.
“Hello, Sebastian, are you alright?” Poppy nudged her in reprimand and offered him an awkward smile.
“I-I’d like to speak to Y/N, if that’s okay,” he asked, not quite looking at any of them.
“Come to shout more declarations of love in my face?” It was a low blow, and Y/N knew it. She watched as he flinched slightly and looked away from her, his shoulders slumped in defeat. She was vaguely aware of Poppy grabbing onto Imelda’s robes to pull her away while the latter protested as she stared at him. There were dark circles under his eyes as if he hadn’t slept in days, and his shirt and robes were rumpled. “Sit down,” she muttered, closing her book. “You look like you’re about to pass out from exhaustion.”
Sebastian listened, his hands running through his hair as he slumped down into a seat. He looked awful, Y/N noted, eyes wandering over his frame. It went beyond the creased clothes and the lack of sleep. He looked paler, and Y/N watched as he sighed heavily and rubbed a hand down his face.
“I’m sorry, Y/N. I went too far.” There was a different level of weariness in his voice, it went down to his bones, his very soul. The man in front of her was not the one she had fallen for. Her heart ached as he looked up at her slowly with dull eyes. “I always go too far.”
“You do,” she murmured. His eyes slid shut at her words and he braced himself for a blow that wasn’t coming. “And yet, somehow, I always forgive you for it.” She hated admitting it out loud, but once her rage had simmered and the adrenaline had left her a few hours after their fight, she had forgiven him. She could never stay mad at him for long. Even after their only other argument that had happened in the Undercroft years ago when he had called her ignorant for trusting a goblin and stormed out she hadn’t been hurt or angry, just concerned for him.
“I don’t deserve you.”
“No, you don’t.” She waited until he looked at her before giving him a small, teasing smile. They stared at each other for a few seconds in silence, each drinking in the different ways the other had changed in the past few days until Y/N sighed and looked away again. “I’m not an object to be possessed, Sebastian. You can’t just stake your claim on me.”
“I never…I’m sorry. I don’t mean to be like this. I just…” he sighed and tried to sit a little straighter in his seat. Y/N waited patiently for him to finish his sentence, waited as the wheels turned in his head and he tried to figure out what he wanted to say. He looked at her from the corner of his eye, his heart constricting in his chest and he saw the matching dark rings under her eyes.
“I’m not going to fight you, Sebastian,” Y/N said gently, reaching his hand. She stopped before she could touch it and instead started to fiddle with the quill Poppy had left behind. “You can say what you need to.”
“It’s not pleasant.”
“None of this has been.”
“No, it hasn’t,” he smiled without humour and finally looked her in the eye. “Ominis and I once heard a conversation in the bathroom. I don’t think they realised we were in there, and they were gone before we could confront them. They were talking about you. About how they wanted to spend time with you and ask you to accompany them - alone, might I add - to the Three Broomsticks so that they could be seen with the Hero of Hogwarts.” Sebastian all but spat the nickname out, hating it in that moment. “They all left before I could see who they were. Ever since then I’ve stood between you and anyone who looked like they were trying to express interest because I didn’t know who was genuine and who was just using you.”
“Garreth…” Sebastian hated himself for being the one to break the news, for putting that heartbroken expression on her face. Y/N felt her stomach churn in revulsion and grief. She wasn’t stupid, she knew there were people in the school who only wanted to be seen with her because of what she was as opposed to who she was. She knew some of the requests she politely turned down for company and a drink in Hogsmeade weren’t out of attraction, but rather a ploy to get into her graces. She never suspected Garreth would be one of them. She was hurt - not because she had feelings for him, but because she had thought they were friends.
“No, I made a mistake with him.” He pulled a face as he admitted he was wrong. “It turns out he actually wants to get to know you - the real you.” Oh. Oh. Y/N felt her face flush and Sebastian looked away. He couldn’t bear to watch her blush over Garreth Weasley, or anyone, for that matter.
“What about you?”
“What about me?”
“Your delivery was less than ideal but…did you mean it? Do you mean it?” she asked nervously, her voice no more than a whisper. Sebastian hated the look on her face, hated seeing her so unsure of herself.
“Y/N, I’ve been in love with you since our fifth year.”
“What does that mean?”
“It means,” he held a hand out for hers, letting her make the decision if she wanted to take it or not. A few seconds passed, and he was just about to rescind the offer, when she shyly placed her hand in his. He squeezed her hand gently, his thumb brushing her knuckles as he tried not to think about how perfectly her hand fit in his. “It means that I want you to be happy,” he murmured, “and if Weasley makes you happy - or anyone else who wishes to genuinely court you - I’ll take a step back.”
It hurt him to say the words out loud, to voice the possibility that after all this she wouldn’t want him anymore. Not the way she had once, the way he currently still wanted her. He let her collect her thoughts, watched as she chewed on her lower lip.
“What if…what if I don’t want you to?” Y/N asked, voice so quiet he almost missed it.
Sebastian’s heart stuttered at the blush that rose to her cheeks, and he wanted nothing more than to pull her into his arms, to be the only one that made her blush like that ever again. For the rest of their lives. The thought startled him slightly, but he realised it was true. He wasn’t saying he wanted to marry her (although, a rather enticing image of Y/N floating down the aisle to him in a white dress did flash to mind), but he wanted to stay by her side. Whether that was in a friendly capacity or more. Merlin, did he hope it was more.
“I meant what I said too, about waiting for you to notice me,” she continued.
“Darling, I’ve not noticed anyone else since the day I met you.” He brushed his thumb across the back of her hand again and squeezed it gently before pressing a kiss to her knuckles. He watched in satisfaction as her blush deepened, and tried to read the flicker of emotions that passed across her face. “I’m more than aware my confession was…something, to say the least (Y/N rolled her eyes at this) but I meant what I said. I’m in love with you, Y/N Y/L/N. I have been for a while now.” She looked away, unable to handle the deep emotions swirling in his eyes, that are written clearly on his face for anyone to see. She didn’t doubt for a second that he was telling the truth. “I don’t expect you to say it back.”
“I…I’m not good with all of this. I can’t quite say if it’s love but…” Her face burns, and she feels as if it will be a permanent shade of red after this conversation. “I am entranced by you, Sebastian Sallow. I’ve never been in love before, never felt it in anything more than a friendly capacity, but with you…it’s different. It runs far deeper than I can explain.” She presses a hand to her chest, right above her heart that is beating so hard it’s a wonder he can’t hear it. “I can’t picture my life without you in it, whether that is as a friend or more.”
Y/N doesn’t know how else to put it into words. She can’t seem to say that it’s been him from the very beginning. From the moment she beat him in their first duel and he was thrilled instead of being put out she knew she was in trouble. She’d only fallen faster and harder since then, from their first trip to Hogsmeade where he flirted with her the whole way, until the day his uncle had died and she had talked Ominis out of sending him to Azkaban.
“You don’t need to say it back,” Sebastian repeated, his grip on her hand tightening as he took note of the adoration in her eyes. “I mean, how could you not be in love with me?” Y/N laughed loudly before clapping her hand over her mouth suddenly. They waited with baited breath for Scribner to come and reprimand them, only relaxing when they couldn’t hear her making her way up the stairs.
“You have to apologise to Garreth.” Sebastian groaned at her words, but there was a smile on his face that he couldn’t quite hide from her. Already he looked better. He still needed a good night’s sleep, in Y/N’s opinion, but life was returning to his eyes and he sat a little straighter, a little taller.
“Where does this leave us?” he asked, shuffling his chair closer to hers so their knees could press together under the table. He hooked one foot under her ankle and tangled their legs together, enjoying the look on her face as he did so.
“I’m still mad at you. But knowing you did this to be noble…to protect me. That lessens the blow.” She gently squeezed his leg between hers, grinning to herself as she watched him take his turn to blush. “I do hope you know I don’t need protection though.”
“My still-healing ego from our first Defence Against the Dark Arts class together remembers.”
He’s rewarded with her laugh again, her real one, and he makes a silent promise to make her laugh the same way every day for the rest of their lives. Every muscle in his body loosens at the sound, and he feels like he can finally breathe again when she grins at him and tugs him a little closer by his tie.
“If you ever pull a stunt like this again…” Although there was still a smile on her face, the threat was evident in her eyes. He nodded quickly, throat bobbing as she twirled his tie between her fingers and let go. She watches as he looks down at her lips nervously and gratification shot her through as his face slowly flushed. A smirk falls on her face at this, and she raises an eyebrow at him when he finally looks up to meet her gaze. “Feeling a little warm?”
“What, no.” He leans back and rubs the back of his neck, his blush deepening.
“Ah, so you’re just blushing like a third year at the thought of kissing me.”
“I’m not blushing.”
“So you want to kiss me?”
“Darling, I always want to kiss you.” The look he gives her makes her stomach flip.  “Can I…”
“Not until you ask me properly.”
“To kiss you?”
“Sebastian.”
“Alright, alright, fine,” he grins, loving the way she rolls her eyes at him. “Will you do me the honour of joining me on a trip to Hogsmeade?”
“Right now?”
“Right now.”
“Sebastian, it’s nearly curfew.”
“And when has that stopped you before?” he laughs and begins to gather her things into her bag before slinging it over his shoulder. He holds a hand out to her expectantly and waits until she grabs a hold of it before they leave the library, waving goodbye at Imelda and Poppy (who are doing their very best - and failing - to eavesdrop). They make it as far as the doors that lead to the greenhouses when Sebastian pulls her under the stairs, ensuring no one can see them as they dip into one of the shadows. She meets him halfway, pressing their lips together in a long overdue kiss.
“Do you have any final demands for this? For us?” he murmurs against her lips.
“Only one.” Her fingers run through his hair and his heart stutters in his chest. “I’m never going to make this easy for you. I'm going to challenge you every day for the rest of our lives.”
“I wouldn’t have it any other way.”

Tis the Damn Season - Garreth Weasley
Tumblr media
Read on AO3
Word Count: 4,145
Rating: Explicit
Warnings: Smut, Oral and Vaginal Sex, NSFW, MDNI
Summary: You're back from five years of traveling the world and living in America, and Garreth Weasley invites you on a foraging trip down to his family cottage in Cornwall. You accept, having regretted not sharing your feelings when you last said goodbye. Or, the origin story of the Weasley knitted sweaters.
A/N: An exercise in writing smut turned into a delicious one shot for Garreth. I've clearly been listening to too much Taylor Swift.
Tumblr media
“Welcome home!” Leonora giggled, over the sound of merriment in the Leaky Cauldron.  The class of 1893 was celebrating their five year reunion, with almost all of the graduates in attendance. Sebastian and Ominis had decided to sit out the reunion, staying at your shared home in New York, sending their well wishes with you as you boarded an ocean liner back to London.  Cross-Atlantic apparition had never been your thing.
“I’m glad to be back,” you smiled honestly. London had never really been home, not really.  You’d landed in a shared flat with the boys for a month after graduation before embarking on your world tour, but you hadn’t stayed long enough to make it feel like home.
Leonora and Poppy started detailing the whereabouts and day to day lives of your classmates. Violet McDowell had married, as had Grace Pinch-Smedley. Duncan Hobhouse was still painfully single and afraid of not just puffskeins, but now nifflers too after an incident with Amit Thakkar at the bank.  Leander Prewett was still gangly, and proudly wearing his ministry of magic badge for all to see.
“Oh, and Garreth–I’m sure you heard about him and Samantha Dale,” Leonora giggled, pointing across the room.
Your heart sank as you thought of him.  If you had wanted to know who Garreth had been dating while you were away, you would’ve brought it up yourself–now, you had to face the burning jealousy that bubbled in your throat as you thought of the pretty Ravenclaw who currently had her hand placed on his forearm.
Poppy sensed your emotions, elbowing Leonora to stop. “They broke up,” she cooed softly. “Months ago. They’re just friends now.”  Poppy cradled her swelling stomach, your future niece or nephew growing inside.
“Good for them,” you said blithely, trying to feign indifference.
“He’s coming over here.” Leonora whispered.
You adjusted your skirt as Garreth cheerfully bounced over, red waves crashing over his head.  He’d grown since you last saw him, thicker and sturdier than the stocky teenager you’d last seen.  No wonder Samantha Dale had been interested in him, you thought.  He was impossibly handsome, with emerald green eyes that shined at whoever he spoke with.
“You’re monopolizing our New Yorker,” Garreth announced, cheeks tinged pink from the alcohol.
“Excuse us, then.” Poppy grinned, winking at you as she tugged Leonora away.
You smiled at your Gryffindor friend, who leaned against the bar next to you. “Are you having fun?”
He nodded eagerly. “It’s good to be back together again, you included.” he nudged. “I wish we could spend more time together before you go home.”
“What are you doing tomorrow?” You asked, trying not to sound too eager.
“Taking a trip down to my family’s cottage in Cornwall,” he sighed. “I need to gather some more horklumps for my potions.” Garreth took a lengthy sip from his beer, but his eyes never left yours. “How about you come with me?  Been a while since we had an adventure.”
You blushed. “Are you sure I won’t just get in your way?”
Garreth smiled earnestly at you. “Anything to spend a little extra time with you.”
So, you agreed.  Garreth spent the rest of the evening by your side; you felt smug when Samantha Dale stared at the two of you, and the little bubble of regret in your heart grew when Garreth leaned against you.  It had been five years since you’d said goodbye, and you wished you’d been honest about your feelings with him the day you both left Hogwarts.
Instead, he’d given the back of your hand a chaste kiss, letting you go for the last time.
Tumblr media
“Don’t mind the dust,” Garreth advised, pushing the door in. “Mum usually cleans up before we all get in for the holidays.”
You peered over his shoulder as he guided you into the cottage. It was dark, clearly uninhabited over the colder months. You settled the bag of horklumps the two of you had foraged on the wooden table as he walked around the kitchen, lighting candles. Waves crashed outside the walls of the cottage; you imagined how this place might look during the summer time.  Visions of Garreth and his many siblings running around the beach flashed in your head, leaving a lump in your throat.
“There,” Garreth said proudly, assessing the lighting situation. “And we can start a fire in the living room.  Will probably be too cold to sleep upstairs anyways.” He led you to the living room, a small den with two loveseats opposite one another, and a stone fireplace in the center.
“You just had to drag me on a foraging trip before a snow storm,” you teased.
“What can I say? You’re an awfully great helper,” Garreth said sweetly, casting his wand at the fireplace.  It lit up beautifully, and the room started to warm.
You hadn’t seen Garreth since you and your Slytherin boys had left school for a worldwide tour at eighteen. Eighteen became nineteen, and then twenty.  Suddenly, London no longer felt like home, and the boys wanted to go to America.  You’d tagged along, their third wheel as you’d been all throughout your Hogwarts years, because there was no one else in London for you; why not experience New York?
Correspondence from your classmates steadily declined as you all got older and busier.  Some had started families (Poppy was pregnant with her first child already) and others were dominating their careers (Imelda was quick on her way to captain of the Holyhead Harpies at twenty three).
Only one remained constant.
Garreth Weasley never stopped writing it seemed.  A letter once a week; two in one week if he missed an owl.  You shared your adventures, and Garreth told stories of the little potions stand he’d opened in Diagon Alley. It wasn’t glamorous, he wrote, but it paid a living, and he was finally able to move out of his family home and into a modest flat he shared with Lucan Brattleby. Garreth was the one who’d arranged the five year reunion, right before Christmas time. He had convinced you to attend when Sebastian and Ominis declined, claiming everyone would be glad to see you.  He was there to pick you up from the dock when you landed, and had escorted you to the room you were renting for the week at the Leaky Cauldron.
Garreth–the sweetest Gryffindor you’d ever known.
“You alright?” Garreth asked, breaking you out of your thoughts.  He stood before you with stacks of woolen blankets in his arms.
“I’m fine,” you uttered. “Just thinking,” you shrugged, grabbing some of the blankets to spread on the loveseat. Garreth did the same, setting the one opposite you, and your heart sank into your stomach.
Why had Garreth invited you to Cornwall?  Was it really just to forage the finest horklumps for his potions?  You’d assumed that he wanted to get you alone, and that you could finally confess your long held feelings for him.  Instead, he’d made you stomp through the brutally wet weather, stashing the spiky bastards in your bags for his famed wiggenweld brews. Your heart had done flips when he assessed the weather, claiming it was too cold and too far to apparate back to London.  He’d offered up the Weasley family’s summer home for the night, claiming the two of you could catch up over a bottle of firewhiskey instead of trekking home in the snow.  You felt that familiar warmth in the lower part of your belly when Garreth held you by the waist as you walked down the dune towards Shell Cottage.
You’d only spent the last six years of your life dreaming of a night spent with Garreth Weasley, after all, and now he was tucking the sheets onto the couch opposite of you, preparing for an innocent sleepover.  You couldn’t help the flutter of disappointment, both emotionally and sexually.
“Well I think we should drink, and then we can properly catch up, just the two of us.” Garreth announced.  “Be right back.”
You let out a hot puff of air, sinking to your knees in front of the fireplace.  So much for seducing him, you thought.
Garreth returned with two glasses and a near full bottle of firewhiskey.  He landed on his arse next to you and you smiled, remembering the clumsy, boisterous teenage boy he’d been when you last saw him.  That boy seemed to live inside this grown adult–all muscle, shaggy hair, and hints of red scruff on his chin. He pushed his hair back as he held up his glass to yours, clinking them softly.  You caught up on everything you’d missed in the past five years; how Leander was still his best friend, despite being an annoyance, and how Lucan was a messy roommate.  You told him about your travels around the world, how Ominis snored, and Sebastian was a terrible cook.
“How is Samantha Dale?” You asked, breaking the ice. “I heard you two dated.
Garreth chewed on his lower lip. “Not very long, I’m afraid.  We didn’t have much in common.” he wrinkled his nose.
“Oh,” you said softly. He seemed to want to leave it at that.
“How are Sebastian and Ominis?” Garreth asked tentatively.
You rolled your eyes. “Still a pain in my arse, after all these years. I love them, but I’m not sure how much longer I can live with them.” You sighed.
Garreth snorted. “You’re the one who chose to follow them.”
You hummed quietly, knowing he was right.
“Is it weird?” Garreth asked after a long sip. “Living with Ominis when you and Sebastian are together?”  He was looking down at his glass, avoiding eye contact.
You sputtered the firewhiskey, coughing at the thought. “Me?  With Sebastian?” You wheezed.
Garreth knitted his eyebrows together in confusion. “Well, yeah.  Because you’re together, aren’t you?”
You laughed, and then laughed some more.  Tears were coming out of your eyes while Garreth gaped at you, eyes wide as saucers.
“How could you think Sebastian and I are together?” You wiped your eyes with the sleeves of your sweater, chuckling.
Garreth’s face was red. “I–we–everyone assumed!  You two were attached at the hip, and there was a rumor you two…” he trailed off, face as red as a tomato.
“A rumor that we what?” You demanded.
“That you two had slept together in seventh year.” Garreth said sheepishly. “Leander told me.”
“Ah, yes. Well, that was a lie,” you chuffed. “I was only covering for him and someone else.  It was easier to let everyone think I was slag than for them to face the criticism.”
Garreth cocked his head. “What?  Who?”
You leaned back onto the carpet. “Let’s just say Sebastian and I have very different taste in sexual partners.  For example, I prefer men who are actually into me.  And two, Sebastian prefers Ominis.”
Garreth stared at you, blinking as he put two and two together. The blank look on his face disappeared, eyes widening in shock as he blushed.
“What…oh… oh .” he stuttered. “Wow.  I mean, I guess that makes a ton of sense. Good for them.”
You grinned, laying back on the floor with the glass balanced on your stomach. “Yeah, the two of them are pretty happy together. I think they’ll get married soon.  Bit loud, for roommates though.  I’ve been looking to find my own place.”
Garreth rolled onto his stomach, leaning his head on his hands as he laid next to you on the ground. “In New York?”
“New York, Paris, Buenos Aires…Madrid, Rome, or Berlin.  I could go anywhere in the world,” you declared, stretching out. “I’m a nomad now.”
“Not London?” Garreth asked softly.
You tilted your head to look at the redhead next to you.  His eyes were glistening, a perfect pout as he frowned at your list of locations. You fought the urge to brush his fiery hair out of his eyes.
“I’d come back to London,” you echo, “If there was something here for me.”
“Your friends are here,” Garreth reminded you. “Poppy, Imelda, Natty.”
“Poppy is about to have a baby,” you remind him in return. “Imelda is busy with Quidditch, and Natty splits her time between London and Matabeleland. There’s really no one else.”
“What about me?” Garreth’s voice was small. “I’m here.”
You dig your face into the carpet, hiding the blush that crept up your face. “You’re busy with the shop. I wouldn’t want to be in your way.”
Garreth suddenly pulled you close, his large hand traveling up to cradle your chin so you couldn’t hide your face. “You’d never be in my way.” he said firmly.
“I’m sure no woman would want me constantly hanging around you either,” you breathed.
His eyes flitted down to your lips. “I think you can tell from the way we’re sitting, there won’t be any other women,” he whispered.  His thumb ran over your lips, pressing against your pout.  Garreth rolled you onto your back, hovering over your body as he slotted a knee between your legs.
“You put the blankets on the other loveseat,” you whisper. “I didn’t think you liked me.”
“Because I wanted to be respectful,” Garreth added, brushing his nose against yours. “I’ve been thinking you were with Sallow for years , when I could’ve been doing this.” Garreth’s lips brushed against yours sweetly. “Fuck Leander–I knew I shouldn’t have listened to him.”
You gave a breathy laugh, putting an arm around his neck. “Yes, well, Prewett can fuck off.”
Garreth gulped. “I watched you leave, all those years ago, because I thought you were in love with Sebastian. I thought so long as you were happy, I’d be happy for you.”
“No,” you breathed in sharply. “I was in love with you .”
Garreth wasted no time pressing the weight of his body against yours.  You moaned into his mouth, letting him slip his tongue between your lips. He was everything you’d dreamt of and more since you were seventeen–hard muscle under soft warm skin, his freckled forehead pressed against yours.  You let your legs fall to the side, his thick body slotting between them perfectly–the most natural fit.
“If I had known,” Garreth groaned into your mouth, “I would’ve asked you to stay.  I would’ve begged .”
“Gar,” you whimpered as he ground his hips into yours, arousal digging into your thigh.
“I would’ve been on my knees,” Garreth’s voice was gravelly now, pressing sloppy kisses against your neck. “Fuck, I would’ve had my mouth against your cunt, begging you to stay with me. It’s all I’ve dreamt of.”
“No use for regret now,” you manage to gasp. “No time like the present.”
Garreth grinned devilishly down at you as he pulled away.  He ran a hand through his hair, pushing it back from his face. “Tell me you want this.  Tell me, and I’ll give you all the reasons to stay.”
You licked your lips, nodding at him. “I want you.”
Garreth went to work–your sweater was torn off, trousers rucked off your hips as he stripped you of all your clothing.  His damn near tore off his own sweater, throwing it absentmindedly as he worked on the buttons of his pants. The room was warm–whether from your passion or the heat of the fire, you weren’t sure–but you stared up at the man, who’d tugged his pants and undergarments down far enough to free his length. You couldn’t help but admire the freckles all over his body, peppering his skin down to his groin. He pumped his deliciously thick cock in his hand, the tip glistening as he prepared himself.
“All this from a foraging trip,” you joked.
Garreth laughed, his whole body rippling.  He released his length, dipping down to kiss you again. “I promised I’d make the trip with your while,” he teased, fingers dancing over your core.  You shuddered, eyes shutting as he massaged your clit. “I intend to make good on that.”
His teasing words had you unbearably wet, the vulgar sound of his fingers pumping in and out of you filling the room.  Garreth laughed again, the sound music to your ears as he leaned down, pressing his lips to your nub.  He closed his mouth around it, and you let out a stuttered moan as he sucked.
“So sweet,” Garreth groaned. “Fuck, I’ve been thinking about getting you off for years.” Opening one eye, you saw him thrusting his hips against the air, desperate for friction.  You nearly stopped him to help his situation, until he curled his fingers inside of you.  Thankfully you two were the only ones in the house, with no neighbors nearby–the scream you let out rippled through the air, Garreth’s name rolling off your lips as he guided you through your orgasm.
“Reason one to stay,” Garreth announced, your slick glistening around his mouth as you panted. “I can do that, every morning and every night.”
Nothing could have stopped you from pouncing on him, pushing him back onto the floor.  He gave you his signature mischievous grin, hands falling to the side of his head. “Go on,” he said lazily, as you straddled his midsection. “You can do whatever you want with me.”
You scooted backwards, his impossibly hard cock brushing against you as you adjusted your body.  His hands slipped to your waist, holding you up as you took him in hand, pressing the tip to your cunt. Garreth looked so beautiful, pupils blown with pleasure as he stared at the two of you, about to join.
“If you hadn’t been listening to your stupid friends, this could’ve been yours years ago,” you breathed.
“I’ll never listen to another soul besides you, ever again.” Garreth rasped. “Only you.”
Garreth’s head tipped back, hitting the ground with a loud thud when you slid onto him.  His hands snaked up to your hips, holding you as you took him in, inch by inch.  He held onto you so tightly, he could’ve bruised you–not that you would’ve cared. You would’ve claimed those marks as a badge of honor, knowing they were left by him .
“Fuck, you feel amazing.” Garreth sputtered. “So–so good around me, so tight.”
“Tell me to stay,” You whispered, slowly circling your hips as you leaned down to brush your lips against his. “Ask me.”
“Please,” Garreth moaned. “Stay.  Stay with me.”
You picked up speed, cantering your hips.  It was picturesque–the fire crackling in the background, Garreth spread beneath you, coming undone. You raked your hands down his chest, fingers catching on the red hair that dusted his chest.
“Beg me,” you demanded, planting your feet on the floor as you bounced up and down his cock.
“Come home to me,” Garreth whimpered. “Please, please, please come home.  I’ll do anything to have you here with me, always.” He gritted his teeth, pushing his hips upwards. “Gods, I’ll make you come every day, twice a day, for the rest of your life if you just stay.”
“More,” you breathed.  You weren’t sure what you were asking for–more of his pleas, or more of his body.
Garreth started pistoning his hips upwards, meeting you with every bounce.  You couldn’t help letting out the desperate cry that tumbled out of your mouth when he sprung forward, pushing himself even deeper into you.  You were now fully seated in his lap, grinding against one another as you raced to the finish line.
“I’ll worship you,” Garreth growled, peppering kisses on your face. “No need to run anymore. You’ll have a home–I’ll be home for you.” Despite his hand that had slithered up to your neck, pressing light pressure against your pulse, Garreth’s words were wholesome, sweet. He meant them, you realized.  It wasn’t just the sex, or years of pent up feelings coming out into the room. The realization that Garreth Weasley loved you, had loved you for all these years apart, made you feel as if you were about to snap–and without warning, you did.
Garreth let out a guttural groan as you wailed atop him, cunt clamping down on him as you finished.  You pulled his face onto yours, kissing him as you rocked yourself back and forth on him, riding out your climax.  From his breathing, you knew he wasn’t far behind.
“Come in me,” you whispered. “Make me stay.”
Garreth choked as he let it out, his release filling you to the brim.  You clung your sweaty bodies to one another, gasping for air.  He gave you another sweet smile, brushing your sweaty hair out of your eyes.
“Do you mean it?” he asked quietly.
“Mean what?”
“That you’ll stay this time.” His big green eyes stared down at you hopefully, peeking through his red lashes.
You bit your lip, pressing your nose against his. You thought of the last day at Hogwarts, how Garreth had held your hand, wishing you well on your trip.  How if Garreth knew the truth, he probably would’ve asked you to stay. And now, after all these years, the road you hadn’t taken and had always regretted was now an option.
“I’ll stay,” you assured him.
Garreth gave you the goofiest, most hopeful grin you’d ever seen before pressing his lips against yours.  You were still joined, and you could feel him stiffening again inside you as you wriggled your hips.  You would’ve picked back up on your lovemaking, if it weren’t for the smell of singed wool filling the room.
“Damn,” Garreth cursed, gently pushing you off of him.  He crawled over to the fireplace, patting down on his sweater, which had a black burn mark in it. “Must have kicked it into the fireplace while we were…” he trailed off, giving you a sheepish look.
You laughed, pulling blankets from the loveseat. “I’ll knit you a new one,” you assured him. “It’ll be your Christmas present.”
Garreth rolled back over to you; he looked silly, six feet tall and rolling on the floor like a boy. “You knit now?” he asked, eyebrows raised.
“I had to pick up some hobbies,” you snorted. “Keeps me calm, considering my roommates are sex fiends.”
Garreth laughed, pressing a kiss to your hair. “Tell Sebastian and Ominis you’re moving out.” he said firmly. “I’ll tell Lucan to beat it, and we’ll have a home all to our own.  You can knit tea cozies and make sweaters for the cat.”
You leaned up, nosing his chin. “And sweaters for the family.” you whispered.
Garreth gave you a lazy, proud grin. “Especially for the family.”
You cuddled him in front of the fire, stroking his chest hair as you spoke freely about the future. You would have to write to the boys in the morning, you realized.  Perhaps they could send your clothes in trunks so you wouldn’t have to go back.  Ominis had been begging you to clean your room anyways, and Sebastian could finally walk around nude without you screaming at him.
You could spend Christmas with the Weasleys.  You could meet Garreth’s many siblings, as he’d promised long ago.  You’d knit him a sweater with your own hands, claiming him as yours. And perhaps, one day, you’d be knitting sweaters for your children, who’d run around the very fireplace you were currently laying in front of.
“What are you thinking about?” Garreth asked, stroking your hair.
“How nice it is to be home.”
Tumblr media
The children ran around Shell Cottage, shrieking with laughter as they chased one another.  The Weasley wives sat in the living room, in front of the fire as they sorted through piles of yarn.
“Who started this bloody tradition anyways?” Hermione whined. “I’m rubbish at knitting.”
“It was Arthur’s great-aunt,” Molly Weasley laughed.  “She and Great-Uncle Garreth lived here when they first got married, and they started the tradition of new sweaters, every Christmas. Everyone in the Weasley family has followed it ever since. You know, she's actually got a very interesting story...thought she was a squib, didn't go to Hogwarts until she was fifteen...ended up becoming a world traveler before she settled down with Great-Uncle Garreth...” Molly trailed off, but no one else was listening over the sound of Celestina Warbeck over the radio.
Her daughter and daughter-in-laws sat on the floor, learning how to make sweaters for their babies.  Fleur had taken quite well to it, all of her children wearing knit sweaters in Beauxbatons blue, and it was now Hermione’s turn to learn, her daughter laying in a woven basket on the floor next to them, cooing softly.
“Thanks a lot,” Hermione grumbled, looking up at the photograph on the mantle. The young couple smiled for the camera, with Garreth Weasley proudly wearing the first Weasley Christmas sweater recorded in family history.

How do you think the boys would react upon hearing that Leander got so frustrated with MC turning him down (yet again) and cast the eat slugs curse at her?
My opinions for this definitely change with my mood, and I'm absolutely projecting on MC here. I put Ominis, Sebastian, and Garreth and kept it p gender neutral
i rant forever so it's under the cut
Ominis:
His initial reaction to hearing about the whole incident was to make sure MC was okay. Eat Slugs does go away after awhile, but it's uncomfortable, and Ominis also can't stand that sort of incel behaviour tbh.
He's mad and wants to defend them, but he trusts MC to do what they need to and he will be there for whatever they choose to do.
if Ominis was present at the time of the hex he would prevent MC from maiming and/or killing Leander. MC can beat him up and hospitalize him, but NO cut off limbs and no murder!
Ominis would show up to the hospital wing with a package of the best-selling fudge from Honeydukes to visit Leander while he lay in his recovery bed from the absolute shit-kicking that MC gave him.
Like, MC would not stand for that disrespect and MC is the superior duelist and would pulverize his ass even though they're burping up slugs.
Leander would be so surprised to see him as Ominis sat down beside the bed and opened up the box of fudge.
Ominis would ask how he's feeling, before taking a bite out of the fudge and setting it back in the box.
Leander tells him he's still in pain, MC really kicked his ass.
Ominis offers his most insincere condolences and picks up another piece of fudge and takes a bite out of it before putting it back.
Nurse Blainey comes by, Ominis offers her a piece of fudge. She takes one and leaves.
Not once does he offer Leander a piece of fudge, he just keeps taking bites out of individual pieces and putting them back until he's taken a bite out of all of them while making barbed quips to Leander.
Ominis genuinely just showed up to gloat over Leander's pain, eat some of his favourite fudge in his face, and then leave to rub some salt in the wound.
It works, with Leander genuinely upset at being insulted and the fudge being thrown out.
Honestly it's very sexy of Ominis to kick a man while he's down.
Sebastian:
Sebastian would want to immediately track down Leander and throw him off the Astronomy tower he's killed once what does one more body really mean?
Despite his blood boiling furiously, Sebastian goes to find MC and make sure they're alright first.
It surprises MC who was certain Leander was a dead man walking.
He stays with them while the hex runs its course, and then when MC finally stops throwing up slugs he returns them safely to their common room and goes on the hunt.
Leander, unfortunately, had good enough sense to anticipate Sebastian. He's made a point to remain in well-populated areas, in his common room, or the professors were keeping him quite busy in detention for hexing MC.
So, Sebastian plays Madame Scribner like a fucking fiddle and earns his way into detention himself.
This risk ends up working out, when Leander and Sebastian are assigned to clean the trophy room together.
Leander shakes in his boots the entire time, anticipating Sebastian's inevitable murder attempt.
It's the longest 2 hours of his life. Sebastian just keeps staring at him, but since Mr. Moon sticks around there's nothing he can do.
Their detention ends, and just as Moon leaves Sebastian slams Leander against the wall with his wand at Leander's throat.
He threatens Leander, letting him know that if he so much as looks at MC from now on he'll have to answer to Sebastian.
Sebastian promised MC he wouldn't physically harm Leander, who just wanted to put the entire event behind them. Deep down
Sebastian knew that MC could defend themselves, but he liked being protective of them.
and then like 3 weeks later MC is paired with Leander for a class project and Leander has a crisis over it lmao
Garreth:
He'd just beat the shit out of Leander. Like, with his fists.
Garreth's got siblings, the man can throw a punch (source: i have sibling).
Garreth's a really sweet guy, but even warm and friendly people can reach their limit. Garreth's limit just so happens to be MC getting hurt in some sort of way.
He's unbelievably pissed that it was his friend and fellow Gryffindor who happened to cast the hex - and for Leander to have cast it because he was rejected by someone who had repeatedly told him they weren't interested? Mmmmmmm no thank you sir.
Garreth doesn't make Leander wait for anything, he doesn't toy with him, he just kicks the hell out of him and tells him to smarten up.
It's a short and sweet way of dealing with it, and honestly very on brand for both stereotypical boys and Gryffindors.
Quick, easy, and done. Leander ends up apologizing to MC and swears he won't bother them like that anymore.
He seems genuinely remorseful, but MC does avoid him for quite a long time. If he wants to prove himself, he's got to do it slowly.
Leander absolutely learned his lesson.
Garreth can hit really hard.
MC doesn't really mind Garreth's reaction, in fact they find it pretty amusing to find Leander with a black eye the next day.

Garreth:
Tumblr media
When Garreth heard Headmaster Black announce your name, his blood went cold, the entertained smile vanishing from his face. But - we agreed you wouldn’t… No. No, this isn’t fun anymore. Stop this. Stop all of this now.
He watched you as you made your way up to stand with the other champions. You were smiling, happy, proud as can be that your name was chosen. But he caught the guilty look in your eye when you glanced his way. You lied to me.
The room seemed to be spinning while he sat still in his seat, looking Headmaster Black’s way but not listening to what he was saying about the tournament. His ears were ringing, he was starting to feel sick.
As soon as everyone was dismissed, Garreth shot up from his seat, wanting to get out of the Great Hall as fast as possible. You wanted to chase after him, explain yourself. But you could only watch Garreth’s form walk away as you were guided with the other champions out to discuss the tournament expectations.
-
Garreth had gone numb. The one he loved most had lied to him, deciding some dangerous, unnecessary tournament was worth more than him. Without thinking, he had gone to Professor Sharp’s empty classroom and started brewing whatever came to mind. He wasn’t in the mood for experimenting, he wanted to put together ingredients that made sense, he couldn’t take anymore surprises.
You had been watching him silently from the doorway for a few minutes, trying to think of what you could possibly say to him after what you had done.
Feeling someone’s presence, he turned to see who it was. He shook his head and scoffed humorlessly seeing it was you, turning back to his potions.
I deserved that welcome. “I -” You began but stopped short, not knowing how to continue.
He took a step back from his potion brew, resting his hands on the table, looking at the ground because he wasn’t quite ready to look at you. “I just want to know why. Why would you look me in the eye, promise me you wouldn’t put your name in the running, and then go off and do exactly that behind my back?” His voice was hard, his words direct.
You had never heard him be this stern with you. You didn’t think you’d ever heard him this stern with anyone. Way to go, you’ve managed to make the most fun loving, easy going person you know livid. “There’s no good excuse, Gar.”
“Don’t.” He said through gritted teeth. “You are not allowed to call me that.”
Your heart broke, but you knew you brought this on yourself.
He took a steadying breath, trying to push down his temper. “Either tell me why you did it or leave me alone.” His tone sounded like he was already done with you.
You nodded your head, quickly trying to find the words. “I… Natty put her name in.”
Garreth squeezed his eyes shut. He had heard Natty throwing the idea of entering around but he hadn’t realized she’d actually done it. If he had found out before you did, he would have done everything in his power to keep it hidden from you. Although, he didn’t know how successful he’d be when Natty was your best friend. “If she wanted to compete, that's her choice.”
“And this is mine. I’m not letting anything happen to her.”
He stood up straight then, looking at nothing in particular. He shouldn’t have expected anything different. You were the most capable person to compete for Hogwarts, and the only one in ages able to wield ancient magic, you both knew if you entered your name you’d get chosen. He had begged you to promise him you wouldn’t put your name in. But of course, it still ended up like this.
All it would take was one misstep, and you’d be taken from him forever. The thought had brought back the sickening feeling he had earlier. Wishing he had felt numb still, he sighed and rubbed at his brows with his thumb and forefinger. “Why do you have to be the hero every bloody time?” He grumbled, just loud enough for you to hear.
You looked down, feeling horrible seeing him this way. It was a new low knowing you had caused it. Garreth was always bright and full of good humor, and your betrayal seemed to wash that all away like it never existed. “I’m so sorry. I never… never wanted to hurt you.”
He finally turned your way and looked over you solemnly for a moment. You held his gaze as he walked up and cupped your cheek. “I just had to go after you, didn’t I? Why couldn’t I have gone after someone dull? Why’d it have to be you?” He gave a small shake of his head as he mused to himself. “It’s cruel being in love with you.”
It hit you then that you could lose him over this. “I know.” You whispered.
With a disappointed sigh, he released you and went back to his potions station. “You can go now.” He said with no emotion, as if he were dismissing you.
You stared after him a moment longer, then took your leave.
He poured some of the wiggenweld potion he brewed into a flask. Just as he was about to cap it, rage coursed through him and he threw the flask against the wall.
-
He wasn’t planning on attending any of your challenges, but he found he couldn’t keep away. He needed to keep an eye on you or he’d feel worse than he already did. He remained near the back of the audience, pacing back and forth, anxiously running his hand through his hair throughout the whole thing. The sick, nervous feeling never dissipated, he could have sworn the sensation was burning a hole through his insides.
He nearly collapsed when the challenge was over, breathing easier with so much relief washing over him. He ran down to the champions’ tent to wait for you to leave. He called your name as you walked out and you quickly turned in the direction of his voice, eyes wide that he had not only shown up, but approached you first.
He closed the distance between you two and pulled you into a tight embrace, holding you like he never wanted to let go. You wrapped your arms back around him, nearly crying at the collision.
He pulled back just enough to cup your cheek and look over your features. “Are you alright? Are you hurt?” His stomach dropped seeing all the gashes and bruises on your face.
“I’m fine.” You tried to reassure him, but his eyes darting all over you told you your words hadn’t done much reassuring.
He took your hand in his and pulled you urgently along with him. “I’m getting you to the hospital wing, and I’m going to make you some wiggenweld potions.” He stopped briefly to look you dead in the eye, no nonsense. “And you’re going to drink every single one I put in front of you.” He turned and began tugging you along again.
You smiled to yourself, not daring to disagree with him. “Yes, sir.”
-
On your way to the hospital wing, you walked by the wall where the Room of Requirement would be. It never showed up when you were with someone else, but that day it did. Garreth slowed to a stop, furrowing his brows as he watched the door form before him.
“What’s happening?”
“It’s the Room of Requirement. Looks like it believes we both need it now.” You tugged him in with you and his eyes went wide at it all before him.
“You’ve had all this to yourself since fifth year?” He was in awe, how could you ever want to leave this place? As his eyes explored the room, they landed back on you, and he remembered in a panic what he was originally doing. “Sit down.” He commanded. He turned and scanned the room for your potions station. Spotting it, he strode up and began on some wiggenwelds. While those took a moment to brew, he looked around for some bandages, anything to patch you up with.
“Right here.” You held them up as you sat on the couch and began working them onto yourself.
He snatched them from you, sat down, and started doing it for you. You watched him as he fixated on your scrapes and bumps. Being this close again, you wanted to kiss his freckles more than ever before. He had been avoiding you since you last spoke, you were convinced you had lost him. You probably had and this was only a moment of weakness on his part.
“I love you.” You found yourself saying. “I’d do anything for you, I hope you still know that.”
He seemed unphased by your words as he continued cleaning you up. “You’d do anything but keep your name out of a burning goblet, it seems.”
You closed your eyes and sighed through your nose. He had you there.
He stopped his movements suddenly and shifted away from you, sighing himself and leaning his elbows on his knees. “You broke my heart, you know.”
Tears stung at your eyes. But you refused to let them fall, you weren’t the victim here. All you could do was nod your head even though he wasn’t looking at you.
“You promised me you wouldn’t put your name in that damned goblet.” His voice was strained. He went silent for a moment, taking a steadying breath. “You got me thinking about life outside of Hogwarts.” He began again. “It’s only going to get worse once we leave here and we’re out there. You’re going to put yourself in worse and worse situations for others.” He rubbed his hand down his face roughly at the thought and let out a shaky breath. “I don’t know if I’ll be able to bear it.”
You sat up straight, trying to keep your composure as your nerves went into a stomach-turning frenzy. You knew what he was getting at.
“I don’t want to be in love with you… I don’t.” He admitted. He looked up to the potion pots and saw the wiggenwelds were done. He stood to his feet to grab them and bring them over. He knelt before you, holding up one of the flasks. “You’re to drink all three of these.” He looked up at you with a face of you don’t have a say, drink it.
You took the first one from him, downing it, then did the same for the following two. Once you finished he got up and discarded the flasks. He returned to your side on the couch and took your hand in his. He looked down at it in his lap, tracing shapes on your skin lightly with his thumb. “What I do know is that being apart from you feels so much worse. Now that… that I know I can’t bear.” He looked at you then, his face told you he was upset with himself for feeling this way, for choosing to stay by your side.
You had caused this. You had done him wrong. And he was right, things were going to get worse after Hogwarts. You really were a cruel one to love.
“I don’t know how long I'll be furious with you, but I’m thinking it’ll be a while.” He let himself get lost in your eyes for a moment. “Glad you’re okay at least.” He released your hand and got up to leave.
You were going to let him go, but you stood to your feet and stormed after him. You grabbed at him to face you and then crashed your lips onto his. You cupped his face and he shot his hands to your waist, his fingers digging deep into your sides.
He pulled away slightly, his eyes narrowed at you and he exhaled, frustrated. He was beyond exasperated with you, but he still craved you like no other. Furrowing his brows, he returned his lips to yours, moving his mouth against yours to satiate said craving. His hands slid up your back as he wrapped his arms around you.
He hadn’t realized how starved he was for your taste until he had you there in his arms again. He licked at your bottom lip, wanting to get more of you, and you gladly granted him access. Anything he wanted, you’d give it to him. He could feel your compliance, and he was tempted to see just how sorry you were.
But his hands slowly moved up to yours and removed them from his face. He tore his lips from yours and looked over your flushed features, wanting more but not allowing himself more, then he released you. “Nice try.” He turned and made his way out. “Stay sweet and I might let you call me ‘Gar’ again.” He called over his shoulder.
-
Ominis:
Tumblr media
“You what?!” Ominis was fuming now, you had seen him angry with you before, but never like this.
“I thought,” You exhaled in frustration, “I thought it would help your family approve of me.”
“My family should be none of your concern!”
“I’m not a pure-blood, Ominis, you know they would never approve of me. Being the Hogwarts Champion has to mean something. If they ever find out we’re together, they’d arrange a marriage for you like that.” You said with a snap of your fingers. “This tournament could help prove my worth.”
He shook his head, pacing back and forth. “And you’d think I’d just roll over and let that happen?! This was not the answer, I’ll never understand why you thought it was.”
“There’s no need to get this upset. I might not even get picked anyway.”
His pacing came to a sudden halt, his eyebrows shot up in incredulity. “Is that supposed to be a joke? Of course your name’s going to get picked!” His fury turned into something with a bit more worry then. “I can’t help you when you're out there, you’re going to have to do all those challenges on your own.”
“Whatever they throw at me, I’ll be able to handle it. I’m sure I’ve already survived through worse than what they’re planning.”
“That’s just it! You had no control over everything that’s happened and you survived through it! This? You’re actively seeking out danger now, it’s pointless! When did you become so dim-witted as to not see that?!” Ominis regretted his words immediately, desperately wanting to take them back but unable to do so.
You were stunned for a moment he had actually spoken to you in such a way. A petty smile formed on your face. “Seems we’re done here.”
Ominis called your name in a panic as he heard you storm out of the undercroft, but you ignored him. He dug around frantically in his pocket for his wand, holding it up and having it guide him to follow where you had gone. He knew his wand didn’t work as a tracker, but he had the slightest bit of hope that if it sensed how much he needed to get to you it might help him out. But no such luck.
-
It had been a week since you and Ominis fought and the dreaded day had finally arrived to announce the TriWizard tournament champions. Every now and then his wand would sense you were in the same room as him, but he didn’t need his wand to be able to tell you were keeping your distance.
How could I have spoken to you the way I had? Every time he thought back to it, he wanted to ask Sebastian to punch him, just bash his face right in.
Even though Ominis knew it was coming, he was still hit with an overwhelming sense of dread when Headmaster Black announced your name. He didn’t clap with everyone else and he hoped you noticed.
He left the Great Hall with everyone else and his wand sensed Poppy was near him. An idea instantly formed in his head. “Excuse me, Poppy?”
Poppy turned her head in surprise hearing Ominis call to her. “Y - Yes, Ominis?”
It was a relief hearing your best friend’s voice still sound so friendly to him. You must not have told anyone about how he spoke to you, which only made him feel worse. He was the villain here. “I need your help with something.”
-
He was leaning against a tree in the woods behind the beasts class stables, hands in his pockets and tapping his foot anxiously. He heard your footsteps crunching the leaves on your way over.
“Poppy? Poppy, I’m here with the feed, what’s happened to High Wing?” You asked in a panic. When Poppy didn’t respond, you looked up from the feed in your arms and Ominis stepped forward.
You groaned and turned on your heel to leave.
“Please - just wait -”
“Want to insult me some more, do you?” You snipped without looking back at him.
“I’m going to have my family speak to Headmaster Black. Ominis blurted, and you froze. “They’ll get you out of the games.”
He could hear you drop the feed to the ground. “Don’t you dare.” A chill went down his spine at your warning tone but he stood his ground.
“You don’t have a say in the matter. You’re not competing.”
He could hear you stomp up to him, could feel your presence, and you were close. His breath hitched when he realized you were close enough for him to feel your breath against his skin. It had hit him all at once how he hadn’t been able to touch you for a week, and he didn’t know if he was able to keep himself from closing the distance between you two right then and there.
“Back off, Gaunt. How about you sit down and shut up while I show this entire valley what this ‘dim-wit’ can do?”
Ominis’ lips parted slightly. Oh...
He fisted the fabric of your shirt and shot his lips in the direction of where he felt your breath and heard your voice. It was all too perfect getting your lips on the first try, especially with you having riled him up, speaking to him as you had.
He nipped at your lip and it drew the softest of moans from you, but he caught it. He always heard every little noise he could get out of you. Your hands went up and ran through his hair, you had missed him too, he could tell. Remembering where the tree he was leaning against was, he walked you back until you were pressed against it.
He released your shirt and brought his hands to your waist. His kisses turned less ravenous and more apologetic. He slowed and deepened his mouth movements. “I’m sorry.” He whispered against your lips. “I’m so sorry. I had no right speaking to you that way.” He said in between kisses. “There’s no excuse. I’ll do everything in my power to make it up to you.”
“Ominis, stop talking.” You sighed, greedily taking his lips again. Though his body weight was against you, keeping you trapped between him and the tree, he was the compliant one.
Ominis pulled back, as much as he wanted to keep connected to you, you two had unfinished business. “I won’t go to my family… if it’s what you really want.” Ominis said, still a bit breathless from your kiss. “Just… don’t do it for them, I beg of you. They aren't worth it.” Ominis leaned forward to kiss at your neck tenderly as he waited for your answer.
You wrapped your arms around him, holding him close. “It’s what I want. If not me, then who?”
His mouth on your neck stilled. As much as he hated to agree with you on this, he did. If he sent his family to speak with Headmaster Black to have another student take your place, he’d practically be sending that student to their death. You were the most capable person he had ever known, and you didn’t even need dark magic to accomplish all that you had. If anyone was going to survive this thing, it was you.
He wrapped his arms around you, pulling you into a loving embrace. He nuzzled his face into your neck and took in your scent, reveling in this moment you had together. He thought he had ruined everything after your fight.
More than anything, he wanted to go back in time and do everything he could to stop you from ever entering your name into that Goblet. But in the end, it was always your choice, not his.
-
The days leading up to your first challenge, Ominis kept close to your side, constantly asking you questions on how prepared you were.
“Did you brew enough wiggenweld potions? How about we start on some thunderbrews for you as well?”
“I know how effective the chomping cabbages are, but let’s get some mandrakes and venomous tentaculas grown to be on the safe side.”
“Were you able to put that enchantment I showed you on your competition robes?”
The day of the challenge, he was able to keep his composure, but only because you asked him to. You were anxious as well, and him being sick with worry for you would only add to the frenzy of nerves within you.
He asked Sebastian to narrate everything that was happening while you were out there. Hearing Sebastian’s depiction and the blasting sounds of spells from the arena unraveled his calm exterior more and more by the second. He leaned forward with his elbows on his knees, his head in his hands, leg bouncing up and down rapidly. He didn’t know how he was going to have to sit through two more of these.
Use the Unforgivables if you have to, I don’t care. He found himself thinking. Whatever it takes, just come back to me.
The sound of the crowd cheering and the feel of Sebastian roughly patting his back in excitement told him you had completed the first challenge. He immediately stood to his feet and took out his wand, his legs were jelly but he pushed through and went straight for the champions’ tent. As soon as he arrived you had run up and thrown your arms around him.
He didn’t hesitate to drop his wand to the ground and wrap his arms around you. He closed his eyes, holding you so close to him he had started to lift you off the ground a bit. He was beyond thankful to every little thing in the universe that aligned to help him get back to you.
“If you still believe my family would be able to tear me from you, you might actually be a dim-wit.”
He could feel you chuckle against him. “I’d like to see them try after what I just accomplished back there.”

Sebastian:
Tumblr media
Sebastian had let his emotions get the better of him again. It was his fault you had been avoiding him for days now, and he couldn’t bear it any longer. He tried giving you your space but he needed to at least let you know how sorry he was. As soon as the TriWizard champions announcement ceremony was over, he’d find you and apologize. He needed to be better, he knew that.
But then your name was called.
Wait, that can’t be right. You didn’t even put your name in so how…? His breathing grew a bit heavier. No, no Professor Black read the wrong name. You told each other everything. And he specifically had you promise him you wouldn’t enter.
He watched for your features to see if you were just as confused as he was, but you weren’t. You were smiling, happily receiving congratulatory pats on the back as you walked up to stand with the champions already chosen, not glancing his way once.
He mentally willed you to look his way as you stood up there. Give me something, give me anything. Tell me with your eyes why you did this. But no use, you were up there looking as if you had no reason not to be.
When everyone was dismissed he stayed back a bit, wanting to go up to you. But you and the other champions were escorted away to discuss what was to be expected going into this tournament.
Sebastian waited outside the Great Hall until you were done. Once he saw you walking out, he pushed up off the wall he was leaning against and came up behind you, calling your name.
“Did you enter because of me? Is this my fault?”
You stopped in place, taking a moment to turn and face him. You had some trouble meeting his gaze. “You weren’t the main reason, but I’d be lying if I said you weren’t a part of it.”
“Then why? Why else would you do this?”
You looked over his dispirited features in silence for a moment. “Since the moment I arrived at Hogwarts, I felt as if I’ve been running around taking care of everyone else. And after our last fight, I… I don’t know. Something in me snapped, Sebastian. Putting my name in that Goblet, it -” You exhaled, feeling like he wouldn’t understand but you decided to tell him anyway, “it was the first time I felt like I was doing something for me.”
Sebastian looked down, it seemed you didn’t tell each other everything like he once believed. How could he have not known you felt this way? He was the one seeing you and he didn’t even realize something had been off with you.
“I know I made a promise not to do it. And for breaking that promise, I apologize. But… I don’t regret doing it.” You were ashamed at the admission, but you wanted him to know.
He realized it then when he met your gaze, he had lost you. You had been slipping away from him for a while, and he had been so blinded by his own issues he hadn’t noticed until it was too late.
A nasty, stomach turning feeling hit him all at once. “Is this… Are you ending things between us?”
His heart constricted painfully when you didn’t answer him right away, didn’t reassure him that he had it all wrong and you would never part from him. You were looking at him like you knew the next thing you were about to say would make him feel terrible.
“Sebastian, I’ll always be around to help you with Anne -”
He huffed in disbelief and turned on his heel to get out of there, as far away from you as possible. He didn’t want to hear you finish that sentence, how you had started it had already broken him enough.
-
He fell back onto his bed, throwing an arm over his eyes. He couldn’t stop the tears from stinging at them but he could sure as hell keep them from falling. It hurt more thinking back to the conversation and realizing that not once had you called him ‘Seb’ like you normally did. How long has it been since you had? Even more indication of how far you had drifted away. How did this happen?
When was the last time you asked him to help you with anything? There were a few times in fifth year you had asked for his help getting the triptychs, but those outings had benefited him as well in trying to get a cure for Anne. Was there ever a time he had helped you with anything that was purely for you? He was disgusted with himself, not being able to name a single time. No wonder he lost you.
And now you were going to compete in a tournament famous for being so dangerous, it was common for the participants to die. Throwing yourself into jeopardy like this, you hadn’t asked for his help. No. You had banished him from your side. How could you expect him to keep his distance in circumstances such as these?
The tears were overflowing, escaping out of his shut eyelids and he pressed his arm over them tighter. Just come back. I need you back. I’ll be better, I promise.
-
Ominis had advised Sebastian to give you your space, if you wanted his help you would ask for it. But all these horrifying scenarios kept popping up in his head, scenarios where you die and he could have done something to prevent it. He didn’t care if you ignored him, didn’t care if you hated him, as long as you were alive, you could feel however you damn well pleased about him.
He had scoured the library for any enchantment you could put on your competition robes, any herbology methods to make your carnivorous plants more vicious, anything to make your potions more effective.
He lost sleep over it, he didn’t mind. He’d much rather sneak into the restricted section late at night than face those nightmares of your corpse he’d been having the past week. Once he felt he had enough notes written out of all these things that could help you, he decided to find you.
He waited for you to come outside of the Room of Requirement with a notebook of everything he had researched for you. It was late but there was still a good amount of time before curfew. As the halls were getting darker and emptier, he sat on the ground, head back against the wall until you came out.
He startled a bit when the door finally formed. He sprang to his feet and straightened out his clothes as he watched you walk out. Your eyes met his and it pained him that you looked uneasy to see him.
“I um -” He cleared his throat, a bit unsure of himself now that he had your full attention. “I have something for you.” He held out the notebook to you.
You glanced down at it in his hands, then eyed him as you took it. “What’s this?”
Sebastian moved himself to your side, looking over your shoulder, opening the notebook as you held it in your hand and gave as brief an explanation as he could. He pointed out where you could find the herbology notes, the enchantment notes, and the potion notes. As he explained, your eyes drifted gradually up from the notebook to his face.
After a moment, he noticed you looking at him and not the notebook. “What?”
“Nothing.” You looked back down at the notebook. “Thank you for this.”
Sebastian didn’t say anything and stayed where he was next to you. You looked back up at him, wondering if there was something else he wanted. He hadn’t been this close to you for weeks. He missed your scent, your warmth, your lips being this close to his. He wanted to claim them again, but he knew he couldn’t. You weren’t his anymore.
Rather than pulling you close, he kept his hands to himself and gave a single nod of his head to you. Then he turned on his heel and left.
You watched him walk away in silence. You were expecting him to ask for something in return, help with some cave that had some book that mentioned some untapped magic. Just like he had always done. But he had just given you the notebook and left it at that.
Where was this Sebastian before? Truth be told, you always felt like he could walk out on you at any moment. Especially if he ever felt like he no longer had a need for your ancient magic, there were many nights you’d be up wondering if that was the only reason he was with you. This along with the way he would snap at you whenever he was frustrated, taking it out on you. He had gotten better about it since fifth year, but it still occurred.
Whether he was doing this to get you or your ancient magic back, only time would tell.
-
The day of your first challenge arrived, and Sebastian hadn’t gotten a wink of sleep the night before. He debated not turning up at all, but the idea had made him feel nauseous. He needed to stay close to you throughout this whole thing.
Whether or not he actually watched was still up in the air. He stood behind one of the wooden beams in the audience stands, arms crossed over his chest tightly in hopes of keeping himself from throwing up. When it was announced you were up next, he squeezed his eyes shut and the blood drained from his face. This could be it, these could be your last few moments alive. He could hear you start the challenge below and sweat began to form on his forehead.
“Sebastian, you've got to see this!” Lucan Brattleby shouted to him over the crowd’s cheers.
Sebastian’s head snapped his direction, and he noticed the crowd’s faces. They weren’t biting their nails or covering their eyes in horror, they were ecstatic, brows raised and eyes wide in awe. Sebastian came out from behind the pillar and looked down into the arena below.
A rousing sensation coursed through him as he watched you. You’re glorious. He always knew you were capable and talented. He’d caught glimpses of your skill with a wand when you competed in Crossed Wands or fought side by side on your outings together. But he had never just… watched you. His worry for you in this tournament was fizzling away the more he witnessed you practically dance through this challenge in the arena below. Your footwork was clean, your defensive reflexes quick, and your offensive casts brutal.
He could watch you do this all day.
When the challenge ended, you had placed first with a sweeping victory. He couldn’t help it, he wanted to run to you and congratulate you, tell you how amazing you were himself. Even if you only gave him a fleeting glance, even if you ignored him.
His nerves went into a frenzy seeing you come out of the tent. You had spotted him right away, and you seemed genuinely pleased to see him. He was taken aback and thought his heart would burst out of his chest.
You made your way up to him and he stuttered trying to get his words out. “I - I just wanted to come by and tell you -”
“Come here.” He was silenced when you grabbed him by the back of the neck and pulled him in for a kiss. He was stunned but quickly shook himself out of it, wrapping his arms around you to keep you on him like this.
You were in complete control of this kiss, and Sebastian had no complaints. Your hands moved to cup his jaw, holding him in a way that you could move his head so his mouth was right where you wanted it at all times. His heart was racing in anticipation while yours raced with adrenaline. His body was turning into a furnace for you. He knew this wasn’t a makeup kiss, this was a passionate, emotions are high kind of kiss. But he’d give it to you all the same, anything you wanted, it was yours.
You had never felt so on top of the world in your life. The sound of the crowd cheering you on so loudly the arena began to shake, completing the first challenge like it was nothing, and taking charge of Sebastian Sallow’s lips, it was all unbelievably intoxicating.
“Thank you.” You said breathily, breaking from him. “For that notebook, it helped more than you know, thank you.”
“It’s nothing compared to what you’ve done for me.” He shook his head, then placed his forehead on yours. “You deserve so much more.”
You stroked his cheek with your thumb, taking in his freckles, soaking in this short moment where you two were close again.
“Can you see yourself coming back to me?” He found himself asking.
You took a moment to answer as you kept your hold on each other. “I don’t know… I still love you. I think I always will. But -” You thought on your words carefully and Sebastian stiffened, tightening his hold on you, afraid of letting you slip away again. “I don’t know if I have anything more to give.”
“I’m not asking you to give anything.” He said quickly, voice just above a whisper. “I don’t care if you never help me with finding a cure again. Just… Please, don’t tear yourself away from me.”
You looked into his eyes, not wanting to break this moment, unsure of what was supposed to happen next. “I need more time.”
He closed his eyes briefly at that answer, then gave a small nod. It wasn’t what he wanted you to say, but there was still hope in it. He’d wait, as long as it took. And he’d continue helping you in this tournament whether you liked it or not.

Garreth had always had a soft spot for his roommate and best friend, Leander. When Leander had come to him, confiding that he was feeling pent up and horny, constantly having to evacuate the room when Garreth had his fuck buddy over, Garreth felt a bit sorry.
At first he’d thought about maybe taking Leander to the pub to find him a lass to hook up with. But after thinking more about it, he’d decided to instead have a chat with his fwb to see if she’d be down for a threesome.
She’d hesitated at first but eventually agreed when Garreth had described his plan, when he’d been so excited explaining it to her she didn’t have the heart to deny him.
Leander wasn’t bad looking or anything, but there had always been a certain…stigma surrounding him that he was whiny and snobbish. Yet all the experiences she’d had with him had been pleasant, willing to leave his and Garreth’s shared dorm so they could have the privacy to hook up whenever they pleased.
When she’d arrived the next day, Leander had already begun reaching for a book, gathering his things to evacuate the room for them. Garreth grinned from ear to ear at the look on his best mate's face when she’d simply wagged her finger at his roommate, pointing back at the bed he’d stood up from.
He did as she instructed, confused albeit refusing to say anything. “What’s going on? I thought you’d be coming over to get cozy with Garreth. Are you guys going somewhere else today?”
She shook her head, grinning as she grabbed the book from his hand, setting it aside to his bedside table before pushing against the center of his chest till he laid back on the rumpled red duvet of his bed.
She climbed up to straddle his lap, watching with a smile as he blinked, mouth trying to form words desperately. “Not today, Lee. I wanna play with you today. We both do, actually.”
Leander’s eyes shot to Garreth who leaned against the bed post of his own bed, sleeves rolled up to his elbows, waving with his fingers. “That’s right mate. Said you’ve been pent up lately, right? I thought maybe I’d share my favorite little stress reliever. She’s happy to oblige, as you can see.”
Leander’s glance snapped back to her and she sat, straddling his waist innocently. He took a shaky breath, trying to process what was happening. “I-is this your way of playing some fucked up prank on me, Gaz?”
Garreth pushed off his bed post, coming to stand at the foot of Leander’s bed, fingers gripping onto the top of the wooden frame. “No pranks, mate. I genuinely want to share. Figured I could get you laid and fulfill a little fantasy I have all in one go. If you’re down, that is.”
Leander swallowed and much to his horror, the girl in his lap shifted, sliding back to see the tenting of his pants. “Damn, Lee. You might be bigger than Garreth here.”
Leander’s mouth popped open in surprise and Garreth chuckled, coming around to stand behind her. “Hey now, don’t start slamming me when I’ve given you rights to get dicked down by my best mate.”
She giggled, turning back to Leander who still laid open mouthed below her. “So, Lee. Are you down or not? Because I’d really like to feel all this…” she caressed his cock through his trousers. “inside of me tonight.”
Leander peered over her shoulder to Garreth, who nodded at him with a genuine smile. His eyes met hers again and she gave him a lusty smile, still caressing him through his pants. “Y-yea. I guess I’d be down. How exactly will this work…we take turns or something?”
Garreth chuckled, leaning over her and pushing her skirt up. Leander’s mouth went dry. “Nope. I’m gonna fuck her ass and you’re gonna fuck her tight little cunt.”
She worked his pants open, not minding as Garreth slid her panties down and helped her out of them. “H-have you ever-“
She pulled his pants down, exposing his length which bobbed needily. “Have I ever taken two cocks? No. Have I done anal? Yes. Garreth is an ass man above all else.”
Garreth spanked her playfully, while undoing his pants with his free hand. “Don’t act like you don’t love it sweetheart. There’s no denying you’re a good little anal slut when I need you to be.”
She hummed in satisfaction, sliding herself across Leander’s stiffened length for friction. “Gods, you feel so good, Lee. Need to feel you…”
Leander looked absolutely dizzy below her, face red as he watched her grind against his cock. When she reached down and slid him inside his head tipped back. A gasp spilled past her lips and she slid all the way down his cock.
Garreth groaned at the sight, using a wandless lubrication charm before sliding himself between her cheeks. “You’re little pussy looks so good wrapped around his cock, sweetheart. Gonna look positively divine speared on both our cocks.”
She went starry eyed, so full from both of them that her lips popped open with a moan. “S-so full. All that talk about bravery with you Gryffindor’s but no mention of incredible cocks.”
Garreth grinned, thrusting gently which had her rocking forward on Leander. “Holy shit. Can feel him filling your pussy, making your ass even tighter for me.”
She clenched down, which tore a moan from Leander, who reached up to grab her hips and thrust into her. All three of them groaned in unison. Garreth and Leander worked together and got into a rhythm, grinding into her, against each other. She was pleasantly unraveling between them, giving into the intense pleasure they wrung from every last bit of her, sending her to multiple shaking orgasms.
Garrath was the first to finish, filling her ass with his cum before pulling out and sitting back to watch as she rode Leander. Garreth groaned, watching as his cum dripped down to her pussy and mixed with her juices.
She rode Leander till he stilled deep inside of her, climax hitting him like a tsunami and dragging her to another shaking orgasm in the process.
The two settled with her collapsed on his chest, both panting in an attempt to regain breath. Garreth, now cleaned up and fully clothed, came to lay beside them on the bed. “I think we should get into some more fun like this more often, what do you guys think?”
