Name: Gaware Collyer

Role: An Executive-rank member of Winterkill Works, and the leader of its Nutrition Ward. A somewhat air-headed man who doesn’t quite seem to fit in with his place of employment, his true intentions involve getting revenge on a particular member of the group who deeply wronged his family. 

Affiliation: Winterkill Works, Fujioka Family

Gender: Male

Age: 27

Height: 6’3

Appearance: Gaware is a tall, slender, somewhat lanky man; while he has broad shoulders and a large frame, he doesn’t carry much bulk or heavy muscle. His hair is black, nearly hip-length, and messy, and he often wears it partially tied up in a ponytail. His eyes are a medium shade of grayish blue, and his handsome features seem distinctly kind. 

Personality: Gaware initially gives the impression of being a little too carefree. Outwardly, he has a relaxed, kind-hearted personality where he values his own contentment over his duties. He can often come across as ditzy, especially due to his habit of eating himself sick. While he seems somewhat selfish, he’s surprisingly considerate of the people around him, especially his subordinates, and is the first to apologize when something he’s done causes someone trouble. And despite his airheaded behavior, he’s sharp-minded and plenty good at what he does... when he decides to pay attention. He’s a very loyal person, especially to his family, and has some deeply hidden anger issues that he doesn’t often make visible to others. 

Positive Traits: Gaware is a genuinely kind person. Despite his role in Winterkill Works, he doesn’t like hurting people. He does his job with the minimum amount of suffering inflicted on others and puts a lot of careful planning into keeping his Ward out of trouble. He’s determined, hard-working, passionate, and willing to put in years of effort to accomplish what he wants. He’s brave enough to face up to the most frightening things in his life, even when he knows his life is on the line in the process. 

Negative Traits: Gaware is bad at knowing when to quit. He’s easily ruled by his emotions, and that means that when he thinks something is right, he has trouble tearing himself away from it. He can be too soft for his own good with people who don’t deserve it, and often at his own expense. Inattentiveness is a perpetual struggle of his— most of his day-to-day problems come from him simply not paying attention. When provoked, he easily loses his temper, and he has a habit of holding long grudges. 

History: Gaware is from a fairly wealthy household that’s of important social standing in their home area. At one point, his younger sister had an encounter with Jackal Balthazaar that ended in her feet being amputated as a consequence of refusing him. Gaware, infuriated by his sister’s permanent disfigurement, sought out Jackal to seek revenge on him and joined Winterkill Works in the hopes of having a chance to repay the damage. He’s been faking his way to the top since then for the sake of his goal. 

Relationships: Gaware’s relationships are generally positive. He’s a social, agreeable person who goes out of his way to get along with the people around him, even when they don’t return the favor. Despite his lofty goals of revenge, he’s a soft-hearted person who offers kindness whenever possible. His subordinates appreciate his gentle leadership, although his fellow Executives find his kind behavior strange, if not fairly foolish. 

Interests: Gaware likes sweet foods of all kinds, his family and home, and small, casual social occasions. He dislikes conflict, sick days (especially stomach aches), and the CEO, Jackal. His interests include seeking out new sweets to try and doing whatever research is necessary for his Ward. 

WW Role: As one of the Executives of Winterkill Works, Gaware has a Ward to manage— and his specializes in Nutrition. While his job is mainly to oversee general projects and workload there, he also handles higher-tier projects that the common scientists couldn’t accomplish. His Ward is overall average, attracting neither significant positive attention nor negative. 

Miscellaneous: Gaware has a rather weak constitution, especially in terms of his digestion. He loves sweets, but he always manages to eat enough to make himself painfully ill, mostly because he’s a stress-eater who’s in a perpetual state of tension. He has three siblings; an older brother, a younger brother, and a younger sister. He’d studied nutrition long before he had a reason to join Winterkill Works, and he’s exceedingly grateful for that history giving him an easy way to get in. While he’s an optimist by nature, his mission for revenge is slowly eroding his ability to see the best in things.

Connotative Description: A kind-hearted, somewhat airheaded man who seems massively out of place in Winterkill Works. Hiding a deep-seated grudge, he’s determined to achieve his mission of revenge, no matter what.
