CREEK: if you don't like them i don't like you idc. they're so boyfriends. they are boyfriends. they canonically stay together for 40+ years. they hold hand. canonized crack ship turned best pairing in whole show. they are so wholesome <33 fuck you if you hate creek.

STYLE: my babies!!!! i love them very much! they love each other very much :) they beat up cartman together. they love each other so much it's painful. style breakups make me cry.

KENMAN: prob my favorite cartman ship. listen, cartman's an asshole, but he and kenny have matching necklaces and kenny puts up with his shit better than anyone else in the main four and cartman gives kenny troll headphones to watch movies with to make sure he doesn't get sad. they always laugh at stupid shit together while style stares at them in exasperation you can't change my mind.

Since its pride month and I take too long to draw I've decided to make some posts of my sexuality + gender headcanons for some South Park characters!! This is mainly just what I fuck with most right now because some of my headcanons are prone to changing like ALOT so uh here's Part 1 with the main 4 + Butters

Stan - non-binary bisexual - they/he (CANON because I said so!!1!1) (also maybe hyperromantic but idk he also blows of his relationships super easily so for now I've not put the flag but might change my mind on them)

Kyle - cis omniromantic asexual with a preference for women - he/him

Kenny - cis pansexual, polyamorous and gender non-conforming - he/him but doesn't really care if you use others, and uses she/her when he's princess Lenny (might be pronounfluid? Idk I feel like he'd use different pronouns but still be a cis guy if that makes sense)

Cartman - cis unlabelled + oriented aroace - he/him but might change idk (I can't really decide on what Caftmans sexuality woukd be but he definitely feels aroace spec maybe bi or omni? But they don't feel right plus I don't see Cartman giving much of a fuck anyways)

Butters - cis queer + genderqueer - idk what pronouns uhh maybe he/she or he/they or he/him aaa (I swear my mind changes on Butters like evryday) (I can't decide if he'd be bigender or genderfluid but again I feel maybe he wouldn't know either and just calls himself queer and chills)

i was just talking to my roomie yesterday about how weird it is that people characterize kenny to be hypermasculine when he is literally NEVER shown to be like that in the actual show. like. legitimately, hes very feminine? i think this mischaracterization comes from the fact that hes hypersexual and that equates to being a man i guess lol. but be serious.. he went to home ec with all the girls, hes dressed as a girl multiple times... princess kenny? hes not even stereotypically masculine at all. anyway this just leads into i think that people should consider fem genderfluid/transfem kenny more because theres actual canon evidence of this lol.

What are your gender headcannons for the main 5 + anyone else you wanna mention

Stan: fem nonbinary, he/they. Doesnt care too much about gender, but becomes uncomfortable if anyone refers to him as a boy or a girl. Still uses the label gay though, because he feels it fits him best. Stan hardly puts much thought into how he dresses (he wears the same american flag jacket and broncos t-shirt constantly without washing them. He’s greasy asf) EXCEPT for when he dresses fem. He goes all out then and loves to express that side of himself, especially at Crimson Dawn concerts. He likes sweaters n tank tops and skirts. They especially like their outfits since they can’t dress fem much because Randy would fuckin freak and South Park isn’t exactly an open town to that kind of stuff.

Kyle: cis male, he/him. Becomes pissy if someone asks him his pronouns because he takes it as them not perceiving him as male. For sure answers with “the boy ones”. He’s not transphobic though, just very self-conscious, especially about his appearance.

Cartman: bigender, she/he. Calls you a fag if you ask him his pronouns. But if you get them wrong he’ll berate you. Her pronouns are just kind of implied to everyone. Calls herself both a man and a woman, and is in touch with both sides of herself. She’s very comfortable with her gender. LOVES to dress up and put on costumes. But when dressing casually he usually just wears a t-shirt and either a skirt or shorts. Doesn’t take anyone’s shit if they make fun of him for dressing fem.

Kenny: genderfluid, any pronouns. Like Eric, they’re very comfortable with their identity. And everyone had kind of seen this coming ever since the princess Kenny thing- Kenny had started using any pronouns ever since he had turned like 12 or so. Only calls himself a girl, Karen calls Kenny her big sister, but he’s still fluid. He just has fun with it and dresses however the hell he wants. Usually they just dress comfortably.

Marj: trans girl, she/her. Realized she was a girl at age 14, but struggled internally for a long time because her parents are fucking douches and for sure wouldn’t accept that. But after she started dating Eric he helped her come to terms with herself and her gender, and now she’s out at school and the gang. but NOT her parents, she does a lot to make sure they never figure it out. She’ll usually keep a pair of her girl clothes on her when she goes out and changes outside of the house.

I have strong thoughts about these 5 with their gender identities, especially since even in canon they’re all very expressive about it (for instance Eric dressing in drag constantly, princess kenny, Kyle’s extreme persistence that he is a Boy, Stan’s struggle with gender in the cissy, and Butters’ overall side with femininity). But other than these 5, Wendy is nonbinary she/they, and Kevin Stoley is nonbinary they/them.

Just gonna share some of my headcanons, mainly for the 16 - 22 year old highschool/college versions of the main 4/5 but also for their canon age version as well. I took some of @rottrottencorpse's SP HCs cuz I thought they fit so well

Here's what I have so far:

Stan is bisexual, Kyle is biro-asexual (gay pref), Cartman is gay (closeted), Kenny is panro-hetero and Butters is bicurious

Stan, Kenny and Butters have blue eyes with Butters' being sky blue, Kyle has green, Cartman has heterochromatic (brown and blue)

Kenny and Cartman are Genderfluid, both having masculine and feminine identities. Kenny goes by He/She/They pronouns but normally goes by He/Him, while Cartman goes by He/She, mainly He/Him as well unless in feminine clothing (and Transginger)

Stan has Spanish/Iberian roots, given from Randy. He sometimes gets called greaseball by Cartman but mostly as a joke (his hair isn't greasy anyway)

Cartman and Stan hang out together on weekends when Kyle isn't around or have nothing else to do. They get along well together

Stan's dog Sparky is a Staffordshire Terrier and American Bulldog mix. He still has him, though he likes to hang out with Big Gay Al usually. He still likes Stan though

Cartman is the shortest out of the gang (5'5) while Kyle is the tallest (6'2) while Stan (5'9) and Kenny (5'11) are somewhere in between

Cartman and Butters both love Disney films

Eric has a soft spot for cats and dinosaurs

Kenny does Karen's hair while she paints his nails for him (Butters taught her)

He also loves Fast and breakfast foods, pancakes especially

Kenny smokes the most out of the gang, from nicotine to marijuana, Stan and Eric occasionally, Kyle doesn't, Butters would be easily peer pressured to do it though

He doesn't do substances around Karen

Stan listens to Alt Rock, Emo, Grunge and Metal (most subgenres), hates Dubstep. Kyle listens to Classical and The Cure. Eric has his Spotify playlist filled with Pop music. Kenny is a Grunger and Nu Metalhead, loves Nirvana and Limp Bizkit, though he likes plenty of different music. Butters probably likes Pop and Eurodance, the happy, cheesy kind. Stuff you'd here on DDR basically

Kenny plays with Karen when she wants to, sometimes Butters plays dolls with her too

Stan binge eats when depressed/stressed. He's gained a bit of chub because of it aside from his sluggishness when high or tired. It isn't noticeable in his usual jacket or in baggy clothes

Kenny has a job that he works at in the summer. He spends a bit of his money on either for his home or for Karen. 60% of his money is given by Butters

Stan has a slight crush on Kyle, though they both see each other as mostly best friends

Butters and Kenny both love each other platonically and romantically.

Butters is a pro at DDR. Kenny sucks at it but plays it with Butters anyway when at the arcade

Stan is still with Wendy, both have gone over their on and off relationship and managed to become better. He's in a poly relationship with her and Kyle since Wendy is polyamorous

Kyle is from Irish-Polish descent. Irish from Sheila's side, Polish from Gerald's side

Stan and Kenny are smoke and music buddies. They both nearly have the same music taste

Eric, Kenny and Butters still have their superhero characters, though all of them LARP as their superhero and fantasy characters

Stan is an alcoholic and stoner. He doesn't go to the point where he abuses it but he usually drinks a can/bottle or 2 a day

Stan is an animal lover but mostly loves big dogs

He also plays the guitar, mainly because of playing Guitar Hero that inspired him

Kyle is germophobic. He hates pee (canonically), anybody sneezing/coughing on him or even a drop of spit getting on him while one is talking

Cartman is most likely the one who'd blast music in the car at full volume

Kyle is more outdoorsy than Stan and would go have walk in the woods

Kenny is a skater boy

Has piercings on his nose and ears, dragon tattoos on arm and back

Also loves Horror and action movies

Stan sucks at iceskating or skating in general, though Wendy is sweet enough to help him out

Butters works at a diner, which Kenny meets him at often. Butters would give him either a hot dog, pancakes or anything he'd like

Kenny has a crush on Butters, which Butters is aware of. Both are real sweethearts to each other

Kyle enjoys writing stories and poetry. He sometimes shares some to Stan, Kenny and Wendy

Kenny is more of a foodie than the rest of the gang. He even eats more than Cartman does (Jk, not pokin fun at his weight)

Kyle hates his hair but Stan would hate it if he would cut it off

Kenny is still Mysterion. No one knows it's him except for his friends. Due to him being up at night, he sleeps a lot in class. Total night owl

Kyle is a A+ student, who Kenny leans onto due to him failing math. He's nice enough to help him out

Stan would be the one who'd sneak in a hip flask at school just in case he gets depressed, though it'd affect his focus if he drinks too much. Despite that, he's a B+ student. Great at art and History

Cartman is a B- student, he sometimes slacks off, texting or watching YouTube videos on his phone. Great in Spanish and English

He and Kenny would be ones who'd pack plenty of snacks. Kenny would be sweet enough to share a bag of chips or 2 while Cartman just hoards it all, especially for Kyle. Though exceptions are for Stan, Kenny and Butters, maybe Clyde too

Kenny is a C grade student. He sucks at math and History but nails science and art

Stan has had moments where he'd get drunk at prom night or in class

Even though he struggles with depression and alcohol, he's such a sweetheart teddy bear

Kenny hides his playboys and cig packs under his mattress in case Karen finds them in his room

South Park isn’t transphobic. While I do somewhat disagree with some of their stances (like Gerald wanting to become a dolphin is not the same as being trans and the infamous “Board Girls” episode (which I PARTICALLY get),) I thought “The Cissy” handled the topic of trans issues really well.

Why does everyone think Kenny is pan? He’s clearly straight. While I enjoy the irony, Cartman becoming Jewish just feels so out of character and hard to take seriously. I know that was the point and was meant to highlight Kyle’s emotions towards him, but it’s so cartoonish he might as well have been fucking with him. Like, who the fuck names their kid Menorah? Kenny Rant

This got really long. I’m sorry.

I wanna talk about Kenny because he’s my favourite. And he’s a silly little guy. I may be projecting a teensy bit but Im just going to scream into the void and you can listen if you want.

Kenny is Cartman’s best friend. Kenny is Butters’ best friend. These can coexist.

Kenny is not saving Butters from Cartman. 2 Reasons:

1. Butters is not an uwu boi who needs protecting. He’s an asshole who’s a little too trusting sometimes.

2. Kenny is not some flirty strong dude-bro. He’s an asshole and a quiet kid who’s just happy to be included.

That’s not to say that I don’t ship Bunny. I do (sue me). but more like a teacher who seats two kids next to each other because they’d be cute together, than as an actual canon ship.

Another thing real quick is Kenjorine. I do wish people would give Marjorine more of Butters’ personality, but someone’s take was that in the episode “Marjorine” Butters never wanted to be Marjorine, therefore she’s just used as a love interest for Kenny, is objectively wrong. Yes Marjorine was Cartman’s idea. Yes Butters was hesitant. But no one can deny how happy Butters looked as Marjorine and the fun she had. Is Marjorine hyperfeminized? Yes absolutely, and it is annoying. But headcanons are okay! Transfem Butters who goes by Marjorine, Genderfluid Butters who can go by Marjorine, etc, yes go for it! But claiming Marjorine is NOT Butters and JUST a love interest for Kenny? :/ Its all fun and games here. Let people have fun and games.

Anyway, back to Kenny because no one understands him like I do.😔

KENNY IS NOT A FLIRTY WHORE. He is kind of a pervert who probably had unrestricted internet access and found porn waaaaayyyy to early. But that does not mean he’s a total slut who will sleep around with anyone and everyone. On a similar note, he’s also not mr. popular either. He’s a quiet kid. He doesn’t talk a lot and often fades into the background. He enjoys hanging out with Stan, Kyle, and Cartman. I can only think of one time he willing chose not to hangout with Cartman. He enjoys it! He loves going along with they’re crazy shenanigans! He loves to be included. Because if he’s not included, he’s forgotten about. He dies all the time and no one remembers. He misses out on so much. I’m sure he feels really left out sometimes. (If you like the someone remembers headcanon), does anyone ever catch him up on what happened after he dies?

Imma leave that question there and move on. Kenny is obviously a wonderful brother who cares deeply about his family. However I really wish the show touched more on his relationship with Kevin. Slight switch. Another characterization I see a lot is that Kenny is a crackhead or similar. I really don’t think Kenny would do a lot of drugs. He lived in a household that had a meth lab in the back yard and his parents were almost always drunk or high. I don’t think he would want that for himself. I know there’s that one episode where he gets high on cat piss and daffodils or something. That’s there. It exists. I know. I would like to think he would have some character development between 8 years old and the typical 16-21 years he’s usually aged up to. I don’t know though, it was never mentioned again. You’re entitled to your own opinion but I just don’t think he’d stick with it.

literally the lack of girl!kenny is appaling. he's dressed up as a girl and changed teams when his teammates didn't respect his choices. he likes boobs. you could say that's body envy. he's covered up 99.9% of the time. what's not clicking.

butters gets FORCED into girl clothes. he doesn't particularly jump at the gun for it; marjorne was bc the boys needed someone to infiltrate the girls sleepover, and courtney love was bc he was told he'd get to go home if he did it.

like. im not saying it's WRONG for this headcanon, but that you're ignoring a perfectly good canvas that even has some fun canon traits you can use to back it up positively. rather than based on negative events where other ppl force it
