My favourite headcanon is Kid Percy been a revengeful kid and an absolutely menace to society but no one's seems to care because he is quiet and knows when to behaved when asked.

Like, he would put Bill's stuff in the chicken coop whenever he was mad at him and blame the twins for doing so.

Or make everybody think that Fred is George and George is Fred in purpose knowing damn well that he is the few that knows who is who 100% of the time. The twins were kind of pissed after being confused for a whole week without them wanting to and Percy's shitty grin doesn't help.

Or "borrowing" Charlie's precious dragon books and reading them in dangerous places like, too near the fireplace, outside when the garden is muddy and the twins are nearby, drinking oj with the book layed on the kitchen counter. Have Charlie 5 heart attacks but could take his book back because "he said he will let him read it" and "Percy is responsable enough and he should worry because it's just Percy reading".

Or "helping" mum to make Bill's fav dessert but put a bit too much fruit for Bill's liking (or something similar).

Honestly, anything involving dessert he is getting his tiny baby hands on it and intentionally fucking it up in a way that the only one suffering it's you.

He also "help" Fred and George clean there room and moving all their stuff in different places knowing damn well how they normally organize their stuff. The twins even got scolded for making a mess trying to re-do their room and Percy got an extra cookie because "the poor boy wanted to help and you destroyed everything he has done".

Oh! And he was super petty. He ate the last piece of pie in front of Ron knowing that Ron wanted that pie. But of course he didn't do it when Ron told him directly he wanted that pie but he will do it if he is really mad and heard it earlier.

He would do it to anyone except Ginny because that's his baby sister and he would never do such things to her. But he would definitely leave embarrassing pictures on her desk or whatever just for her to remember them, like the time she puked on the beach all over her just built sandcastle.

Anyway, kid Percy was a petty sassy and probably would tell you that you look like a newborn baby owl making you think he complemented you but actually was calling you ugly.

I love him very much.

What do you think about Albus Severus in The Cursed Child? And I know they were pretty much ignored by the narrative, but what about James Sirius and Lily Luna? (gosh these names are ridiculous. Is there there anything weirder than naming two of your children after both of your parents who were married and in love?)

Also how come none of Ginny's family is in there??

Okay. If I'm assuming that Harry and Ginny got married young and had their first kid at 23-24... I don't think either of them are going to be especially creative namers. They're just going to go with the most expected thing.

(Harry/Luna is how you get Hawthorn Dobby Xenophilius Potter. Harry/Draco... I think goes with Sirius, because the astronomy name would make Draco happy, and Harry isn't signing off on Scorpius.)

In the wizarding world, the most common thing seems to be to use your name/your grandparents' names as your kids' middle names. Bill is 'William Arthur,' presumably Charlie is named after his paternal grandfather, Percy is 'Percy Ignatius' and I'd be very surprised if Molly's father wasn't called Ignatius Prewett. By the time they get to Ron they're pulling in Arthur's brother (or potentially uncle) Billius.

So Harry and Ginny would just do that. They also seem to have this desire to name the kids after people who have died, and so keep their memory alive that way. Okay.

If no one else is using Fred's name, I think that's the name of their first son. I think Ginny insists on it. In which case (following the pattern established by the world) he would be Fred(rick) Harry Potter.

If someone else is using the name Fred (or George has communicated that he feels uncomfortable with this) I think Harry names his son Sirius, not James. First - I think he'd be saving 'James' for a middle name, because That Is What You Do. Also, there'd be political utility to going with Sirius. Sirius' name was never officially cleared, and I think that no matter what else happens, Harry would be on that post-war. So Sirius Harry Potter.

I think it's in character - I don't think it's healthy, but I do think it's in character - for Harry to attempt to work through his complicated feelings about Albus Dumbledore by naming a son after him, and I think Ginny has positive enough associations with Dumbledore that this wouldn't raise any red flags. But there is NO way she is signing off on 'Severus.' It would be very 'I understand that you have complicated feelings about him Harry, but he was also a miserable bastard who bullied me and all my friends, and was headmaster during the worst year of my life, and it's not fair to put that on a kid. Also, you're sort of implying that Snape is your father or something if you do that.'

Which leaves number two named Albus James Potter.

I do think they go with Lily for their daughter, there's no talking Harry out of that. But her middle name is going to be Ginevra, after her mother.

tl;dr - Taking what we know about common wizarding naming conventions, and what we know about Harry and Ginny as people, I think their kids would more realistically be called:

Sirius Harry Potter (or Fredrick Harry Potter)

Albus James Potter (or Sirius James Potter)

Lily Ginevra Potter

Honestly though kudos to Ginny & Georgia bc yeah it's still a cringey show but they had the balls to write a storyline about a teenage girl getting pregnant, not doubting for even a second that's not what she wanted, and having an abortion. With the unconditional support of her mum, who was a teen mum herself but didn't push her decision on her daughter at all. Which, in the current climate, I think it's a pretty bold, and fucking good choice.

So I need to discuss my thoughts on Abby and Ginny’s dynamic in episode 1 of the new season because god do they fascinate me

Spoilers below

-them meeting alone with no one else around and have this sorta unspoken bond where they just get each other. Like you can see Max is trying but they just get each other in a way that no one does

- them going back to Abby’s place to smoke weed and that scene was so cute because Abby feels comfortable not hiding as much and Ginny feels like she has a safe place where she can kinda talk about her feelings

-Abby mom coming in and you could see the shift in almost defensiveness in Abby and how Ginny gave Abby the need to rant about her parents without digging (which is something that is interesting they get each other and don’t push for more then that)

-Abby trusting Ginny enough to talk about hooking up with press and whether this is because of the weed or just to distract herself idk. But Ginny doesn’t judge like someone like Norah did but she starts asking questions of why she is doing this (which I think is going to lead them to figure more things out)(ask hooking up with press is definitely a form of sh and Abby is just doing it to distract herself)

- Ginny stealing Abby’s lighter. I have seen no one mention this scene and I have no clue why but this might be a parallel to the first season. I think this is going to get Abby to figure out about Ginny’s burning (or this could go the opposite way but idk)

- also the whole thing where Abby’s like I’m evil but Ginny’s like your not :) them just seeing the light each other is adorable.

This turned more into a ramble of small things I noticed but yeah I just really like there dynamic

How can just Harry name his son after Snape and Dumbledore is beyond me??? I really don't get it , he could have named him after Hagrid, Hedwig or Cedric , so many and better options .

The Weasley Children are taught to be self-sacrificing for the greater good from the beginning. Arthur and Molly raised little Order-Soldiers. All of the kids were taught to be courageous and competitive. Ron was brave enough (or insane) to sacrifice himself at 11. Little Ginny thought a baby that defeated the dark lord must be the greatest boy on earth. Charlie went on to tame dragons.

I believe that all the people that died protecting Harry (her husband mind you) are in very high value. Ginny would definitely want her children of the man that ended the second wizard war to have very meaningful names dedicated to people that were lost, while trying to end that war.

It's a way to honour them and give them a second chance of a peaceful life. I don't believe it was Harry who dictated what their kids will be named.

I do however agree that Albus Severus was Harry's Idea. It's his way to say "thank you for looking out, in your own odd way ,even if you didn't have to" since he never could in person.He was never able to say thank you or talk it out with either of them. Ginny trusts her Husband's Intuition and never had issues with them personally.

If Harry and Ginny had a third son, and wanted to continue their theme of 'names to honor the dead'... there are a couple of options. Obviously Remus - although Harry is honestly a bit conflicted about Remus Lupin, so I don't know if he'd immediately go there for a name. He also wasn't really a father finger like Dumbledore + Sirius, or as heavily involved in Harry's life as Snape. It's also possible that Harry doesn't feel l like he has a claim to the name Remus, like it "belongs" to Remus' son Teddy.

Alastor is a good option - he's also a beloved mentor, and as far as we know he didn't have any kids. So same general category as Albus. However, it does sound a lot like 'Albus,' and would have a lot of similar nicknames. Harry also miiight still associate it with Barty Jr.

Which is why I actually think... Harry goes with Cedric if he has a third son. Cedric's death hit him incredibly hard, and enough time has passed that he might find that choice healing. It does *rhyme* with Fredrick though... which makes it a better choice in a universe where his eldest son is Sirius.

THREE SONS:

Fredrick Harry Potter or Sirius Harry Potter

Albus James Potter

Cedric Arthur Potter or Alastor Arthur Potter

If Harry has girls I think he goes with Ariana instead of Albus, when following up on that instinct to honor/process Albus Dumbledore. The third name is harder. Nymphadora / Dora is an option, especially because Ginny knew Tonks (better than Harry did.) It runs into that Remus problem though, of Harry not feeling like it's "his" name. If anything, I think this depends a lot on how close Harry is with Andromeda post-war, because she would definitely feel *some* sort of way about this choice.

(also Tonks didn't actually *like* the name Nymphadora, which might possibly taint it for Ginny and Harry.)

The two of them are also very close with Neville, so I really think it's possible they might ask his permission to use Alice. (I don't think Neville would be able psychologically handle a daughter named Alice Longbottom, and I don't blame him. Alice Potter might okay though.) Also 'Euphemia' is the name of Harry's paternal grandmother, so it's the next one up in terms of middle names, and 'Alice Euphemia' is pretty.
