They had been holding hands during their walk. It was... normal. The normalest activity that Shinobu had done in a long time. And she was doing it with Giyu of all people - not that it was bad. Just unexpected.

And pleasant. 

Her heart had been fluttering the entire time, ever since her’s and Giyu’s fingers entertwined - yet she knew it was coming to an end, with the Butterfly Estate back in view. There was a pain creeping into her heart - because who knew when they would get another day like this? Perhaps Shinobu had an expectation. One she had no idea if Giyu would meet. 

But, at the end of their walk, she would surprised - just outside the entrance to the Estate Giyu had stopped, pulling on Shinobu’s arm to get her closer, holding her for a moment: one hand on her shoulder, the other still holding her hand. The blush was already beginning to burn her cheeks as she stared into Giyu’s eyes for the split second she was allowed before he swooped in, their lips meeting and her eyes widening in the initial shock before she started to melt into it. 

It lasted for what seemed to be an eternity, Shinobu kissing hungrily in reciprocation before he pulled away - leaving her wanting for more. Leaving her chest fluttering still, filled with butterflies.

I couldn't write a fic ab Shinobu x anyone accept douma bcuz I only ship them with each other 😤

I do think they are a realistic ship and would've happened, I just can't bring myself to do it 😔 I feel it would be cheating on my beloved
