It’s officially 24 hrs until me and the rest of the luke apologists r fighting for our LIVES (and enjoying some of the best edits we’ve seen since the show started, probably)
Thank you good people (gif makers and editors) that I can just lay on my bed and scrolling without using 0 of my braincells and just reblog new promo stuff with my favorite character ever in a great quality and use it as an inspiration to writing new chapters of my stories.
Girl take all the time you need to write rawnsyf but I'm so glad we are getting little snippets of it!! I love this fic so much, literally just re read it last night
Omg 🥺 I still forget sometimes that the fic exists to people besides myself that means so much to me that you were rereading it I could cry 😭 I am excited to finish this chapter and get it out honestly!! I think there’s some very fun stuff coming up in the story
cod fans are the funniest people on earth cause they’ll see a war criminal twice their height and go ‘i can make that man eeny weeny’ like ma’am that’s a grown man w a kill count in the hundreds
All the edits I’ve watched that slow down the shot of Crowley going back to Aziraphale in their final scene together made me focus on his expression there and every time I see it again I want to cry
I'm rewatching the madness series and it's REALLY FUCKING FUNNY HOW LIKE. LITTLE LORE IS ACTUALLY EXPLAINED IN THE CANON VIDEOS EDDUBDDJEFJFB
Haha, yeah, the animated series itself isn't very heavy on the lore, and that's purposeful from what I can tell. It's kind of like DOOM, in how the plot is a central element but most of the focus is on the action. You kind of have to go digging through everything to get a full perspective on the lore (not so much with the game, but with the animations, it's needed) but I find that fun so it's alright lol. I would recommend checking out the Madness Wiki if you need any additional information on characters and such, since the people who contribute to it record absolutely everything.
Gotta say though, the approach that Krinkels has taken with the lore and discerning what is cannon is very interesting. I've watched quite a few of his streams at this point, and whenever anyone asks him a question like "Are there frogs in Nevada?" his answer is just that if you draw it there, then it exists. I know there are some things that are concrete in the lore (Hank being unable to die permanently, the way S-3LFs are handled and changed after death, the Employers and their jobs, etc.), but Mr. K tends to leave a lot of it up to interpretation and encourages people to figure out details themselves and imprint their own mark onto it.
Perhaps I'm too jaded from other media, but it's very refreshing to see a big creator who's so open about fans doing their own things and having their own takes on their work. The vague nature of the actual lore really lends itself to that too, and it's honestly one of the reasons why I love this fandom and Madcom so much. It's just one of those things you can mold into pretty much whatever you want, and it also helps that everyone here is so welcoming of new ideas. I haven't seen anything else quite like it.
Hey, are you still writing? I love your miraculous au stuff, it's funny, but you haven't posted anything in months. Are you ok?
Hi, Anon! Thank you for checking in, it's very sweet! I'm alive. I returned to uni this past year and have been dealing with some health issues.
I'm creeping back online now that things have settled and am currently behind on fandom projects, if you're out there reading this I'm so, so sorry for not being responsive.
Goodness, it's been six months. Fingers crossed the entire season hasn't aired in my absence. 😅 I'd still like to post memes/my thoughts on what I missed, but I don't think many would care for those.
