Restarting DRV3 made me realize something too.

Like I know I bully Shuichi for being the super bottom protagonist, but when he fell out of the locker, it really did hit me.

I think Shuichi and Kaede make a beautiful, romantic, and complicated relationship, butttttt…

Let’s be honest.

Shuichi is totally a guy who would get off to every one of the other cast members sleeping with Kaede in front of him. He totally fantasizes about Kokichi, Kiyo, Rantaro, Miu, Tsumugi, or even Gonta fucking Kaede in front of him.

Can you please do Gokumatsu where Gonta and Kaede decided to have a child together?

Gonta and Kaede had been together since high school, though they’d only been married for a handful of years. They’d floated the idea of having children before, but it never seemed like the right time.

The both of them had steady jobs, Kaede as part of the really popular orchestra that played nearby and as a part of the ensemble for community plays, and Gonta as an entomologist at a nearby university’s research facility.

So after another while, they had a talk and decided that, since they both wanted kids, it was really the perfect time for them to do so. Finally, they decided to try for kids!

They didn’t tell any of their friends, in order to surprise them if Kaede did get pregnant, and in case nothing came of it, but eventually they just got too excited to be trying at all.

After what seemed like an eternity, the news finally came back that they would be having a child! They were so excited to start their family, they told everybody who would care and some people who wouldn’t.

Kaede’s suggestion of a festive dance proves successful. In the gymnasium, at the piano, she smiles, her fingers dancing in solidarity with her classmates. Even Shuichi seems to have fun,  though he looks slightly flustered as Kokichi swings their hands.

“Are you enjoying yourself, Gonta-kun?” asks Kaede, as Gonta has wandered over.

“Yes.” Gonta nods. “But... Gonta wondered if Akamatsu-san will dance with Gonta.”

She winces. “I’d be a hopeless partner. At school, I always volunteered to play the music instead...”

“Gonta no mind if it’s Akamatsu-san! And Gonta will teach you.”

Kaede smiles. Kirumi plays piano for a while.

Can you please do some headcanons on Gokumatsu or Gonta x Kaede?

Kaede loves helping Gonta raise and look after the caterpillars who grow into butterflies, and Gonta is happy that she’s interested in them.

Gonta likes hearing Kaede play piano, especially classical music, since that’s what gentlemen like. She love seeing his smile after she finishes playing.

They spend a lot of their dates outside when it’s nice out. When it’s not, they’ll stay in and watch a movie, or get some of their homework done together.

They’re so sweet to each other. Gonta knows that Kaede needs her hands to play piano, so he helps to “protect” her when he can, and she helps him continue to learn how to be a gentleman.

In general, they always feel comfortable with each other. They know that they can trust each other with just about anything, and love being near each other.
