Why i kin chris skelton :D i just want an excuse to ramble about him instead of doing college work

●• Chris is a people pleaser and he mirrors the behaviours of those around him. (E.g. he mirrors sam when he wishes for his co workers to respect Annie and going to The Blitz with Shaz despute it being way out of his comfort zone)

●•Gets words mixed up a lot (Alicante and Flagrante)

●• Loves making people laugh and if they dont it upsets him

●• Struggling with social cues and misunderstands people a lot (hands sam the tea and bourbons instead of the files, dw mate i assumed that he wanted them too)

●•cant take things seriously for shit (its ok chris, i wouldve laughed at the curtain not closing at Vivs funeral too, could also link to not getting social cues)

●• Frickin easily distracted (Cant believe Alex took his Rubiks cube and gave it away, Justice for the Rubik!) He will just start talking about some random shit like the mirror at the dentist thing though and i do the same.

●•Clumsy bugger, can relate, walked into plenty of walls, fallen down many stairs and i got my foot stuck in a goal net in football club once. Me profile picture is so relatable :'] i havent skated over anyones thumbs though, but thats because i canr even stand up in skates.

i have decided to be the change i wanna see, so lets do a nice little thing for each other, as a community full of incredible and talented writers. yes this is writer specific only, but thats cause thats where the main problem of people not interacting with creative works lies in this fandom as far as i can tell and have seen people talking about it especially in the last couple of months

if you read this, please add links to your written works. it can be just a single fic youre really proud of, your writing blog, your writing tag, your ao3 account, anything where your works can be found

and if you leave your link here, PLEASE check out someone else that has left their works, and interact with them. leave them a comment, even just a kudos, REBLOG their fic, etc. interacting is the keyword i want to emphasize here, along with building a sort of a masterpost of where to find people writing in this fandom

and just in general.. leave people comments. leave them asks about their projects. just go over and gush about their work. i know it sounds embarrassing but writers love nothing more than to hear that someone likes what they are doing. if you find a fic that hasnt been updated in forever, comment on it. it might just be the spark the author needs to continue. while kudos and likes are nice, and just as valuable to some, its definitely in the words the people leave for them that matter the most. im not saying this to put pressure on anyone, its just how it is, and i feel like unless people are writers themselves, and even then sometimes, thats just hard to grasp, especially if the writer is a smaller and less popular one who doesnt get a lot of traffic in the first place

i think thats all. just be nice and considered to everyone, reblog peoples works, this post with others add ons and so forth. and if i find anyone talking shit here or at other writers for something they share, you'll be blocked and im probably taking your kneecaps. be fucking nice. we are all struggling here and we need to stick together

this was essentially just me testing the waters with digital after some time avoiding it, and especially colours/lighting. it's been a while since i actually tried to make something fully fleshed out like this. i don't know, i feel like it could have come out worse :)

Emerg Commissions

So my retina (right eye) detached (AGAIN) in the middle of my vacay in the states and i had to go to the emerg AND see a specialist/surgeon in 'murica before taking an emerg flight back home to Canada and my bills are gonna be so big ahsdffkjall;;; long story short, i'm gonna be reopening commissions again here soon while i'm on short term disability for a minimum of six fuckin' weeks (potentially longer once i have my follow up in two weeks). i'm gonna make some quirky name for them. like pirate commissions. cause i have only one working eye while the gas bubble gets reabsorbed. i was told that i'm essentially gonna get cataracts in this (right) eye from this vitrectomy cause the bubble is gonna fuck up my lens so that's ANOTHER surgery I'm gonna need down the line. And I'm supposed to be watching my other (left) eye for the inevitable time THAT one detaches. i am so grateful i live in canada rn and got the actual surgery done here but omigawd why cant i save any money or have nice things adfaks;l;;;;ka;rk ANYONE INTERESTED IN BUYING ART FROM ME?!
