I just wanted to say thank you. I found your post on the 2012 Hamato Clan in their 20's, and as somone who watched the Mutant Apocalypse arc for the first time yesterday, it was incredibly healing and exactly what I needed.
Aw! You’re so very welcome! I’m sure at least some of you know this, but I absolutely hate Mutant Apocalypse. That post, in addition to being a fun prompt and project, was also a sort of spite post so that everyone can have the ending they really wanted instead of whatever heck Mutant Apocalypse is.
I’m really glad everyone is liking this so much ^v^ it’s good knowing I’m not the only one who wanted a better ending 🤣

there needs to be a word for the type of show that is just one story line, and it takes exactly as long as it needs to tell the story and then ends. like, the good place feels like they wrote the entire thing before they even started filming the first season. and then it ended when the story was done. no scrambling for a renewal, no fumbling a shitty story, just done.
is there a word for that?

There are shows with just a bad endings like Game of Thrones. They just suck but you can't rezlly do anything about it.
There are shows with a happy endings like Charmed or Izombie. There are not necessarily bad nor sad. There are more or less coherente and they end the serie, that s all.
And then, there are shows with good endings... There are the best kind. They make you cry because they may be heart-broken. But some will stick with you forever.
Merlin has that kind of ending, and so does Kaamelott. I wish I could rewatch those shows for the first time...

If my mom sees a significant amount of blood she gets lightheaded, and has fainted on some occasions. Once it happened when we were kids, I wasn't there to witness it but I heard the story from my dad. Basically my brothers, around 7 or 8 at the time, were playing outside while my mom was making their lunch, and she accidentally cut her finger. It wasn't anything serious, but it drew a fair bit of blood and she passed out. My dad saw this and rushed over, but he didn't really know what to do so he just sort of started slapping her to wake her up (not recommended, but he had no idea and panicked)
At that exact moment my brothers both came in from playing, and all they saw was our mom unconscious on the floor and our dad slapping her. So, like, without even saying a word to each other they both just INSTANTLY start whaling on him, like, full blown attack mode to defend our mom. Which obviously didn't help the situation, but she did wake up and everything was fine.
Now our dad says that he's actually really glad they attacked him over what they thought was going on, because it means he raised good boys. And I still think that's true, they're very good boys.
