#i try to be objective because they have all made less than stellar decisions but every other decision he makes im like #i. understand this too well #and i dont understand why other people see it so much worse than any of the other characters doing their questionable things #well i do though its Softboys Omen #its The Spectre Of Cringe #people also do this to vikki but at least vikki kinda got shooters #even if theyre just like well shes a hot goth girl and thats the only thing i care about #gage also has shooters. gage is shooters #the only person people have less compassion for is claire and uh well #ok not true probably griffin and even him its like the whole thing just makes me sad i dont see him as ~evil~#ykw not fair to vikki either i believe most of her defenders are genuine #but you know there is an element of simp in the same vein as gage #which is true of me with milo so first stone etc.

so I’ve decided that Lanturn has at least three personas/alias’. There’s him as his actual self, Divinity Angel Fell, a peasant commoner who managed to get into a very very reclaimed upper class wizard university that seldom allows those who aren’t nobles to attend (he is 100% hiding his origins somehow.), he takes his studies very seriously as he is passionate about learning magic and wants to be taken seriously himself! His bartending person where he goes by “Angelus Opera” (he just elongated his middle name and choose a pretty last name), he also takes this job seriously, he can be flirty and playful but isn’t going to do anything at could risk him his job! And lastly his gold digging/sugar baby/what have you alias, Lanturn Howlite Lustre in which he seduces mostly rich nobles because shit is expensive and he needs to pay his bills <3

#this is me half asleep info dumping #also I think that when he’s working as a bartender that he pulls up his hair into a pony tail #I can’t wait til I can do art again I’m going to give Lanturn and Trinket redesigns #Cashmere may be getting a slight one and Sapphia as well #I’m going to use some outfits I have as inspo for a few of their design elements and also just kinda go based on what I like #Trinket is supposed to be like romantic goth and I’m going to try and actually commit to making him read as more goth!#and while I like the purple I used for him I may try and go for more like #raven and grow collars for his hair!#crow *#Sapphia is getting a redesign because I don’t really like care about genshin much that’s just gonna be an oc or sona/general self insert #character now and Cashmere will just be getting new outfits + maybe a small change to how I draw her bangs because I saw a character with #similar bangs that read as more heart and I kinda wanna see how I feel about that #then Lanturn I need to make him actually read as like whimsigoth #I have a nice black lace button up with gemstone buttons + a low to pearl belt I’m gonna put him in #I love to put my ocs in my own clothing

Imagine one of those "goth isn't about music" types going out to a goth club and as soon as they step through the entrance, they cover their ears and say "This is the worst music I've ever heard!" and then they just gtfo. Like they probably expected the DJ to be playing Lil Peep and Billie Eilish.
