Simon, the human on the crew. He's a sidhe-seer, a null, and a Croi Mian. And an interrogator! His found gift for sadism and causing pain helps him fit in among his particularly ruthless Unseelie brethren in the group.
He's also a homewrecker, coming in all wide-eyed and pretty like that, causing love triangles and such. Heh.

I am back with more skeleton themed projects
This is my first vest and I wanted something unique, so I made this skull using textile paint and added a ribbon which I laced through some safety pins (inspired by corset piercings)
While I was painting there was also a little moth on my window so in honour of that I also added a tiny moth next to the skull. They're friends :)

Say Hello to Hugo, Hugo was my sisters anatomy skeleton (but she is done with her schooling so now Hugo is free), normally Hugo resides at the window above our front door, greeting our neighbors and passers on the street but today I awoke from my (very evil) slumber and dressed him up in my (also manicaly evil) battle vest.

AWS Inc. 'Gen.2' Version Strike Vest
This particular chest rig was adopted by Delta Force C-Squadron around 1989-1990 from what I can tell, and my example is 1995-dated, possibly making it one of the last batches before the modern 'Gen.3' version that AWS produces to this day.
Prior to this one, there was only three known surviving examples of the Gen.2 Strike Vest, two of which are lost, making mine a new example and also the only other example I know where it exists.
Above: A comparison of the three main primary pattern revisions to the AWS Strike Vest
The 'Gen.2' design is quite radically different from the Gen.1 and 3, in that there are side-release buckles at both ends of every strap, and features a wider gap between the center-most pouches, which I believe is intended either for aiding the addition of hook velcro to the back of the vest or for potential split-front modification.
Above: A variety of period photos showing the Gen.2 Strike Vest in use with Delta Force during Operation Gothic Serpent
This version is also the rendition of the Strike Vest design that some members of C-Squadron would supposedly affix to the panel loops of their T.G. Faust Body Armor to use as an early form of 'swiftclip' chest rig, although this practice was rare and isn't well-documented.
The original waist strap on my example was missing unfortunately, so I'll be making a reproduction replacement later.

The "Voltaire corner" of my vest. I tell myself that is one of my best speech bubble placements of all time. All Gothic Homemaking shenanigans considered. 🤣
