people tend to do this weird thing when listening to neils music of like. assuming him to be completely incapable of sarcasm or tongue in cheek jokes or just like. writing lyrics that dont Literally Mean Exactly What They Are Saying At Face Value at all. a neil song will have the most obvious joke possible in it and people are still like I Cant Believe He Really Literaally Said This In His Song. just dont know what it is about him that lends itself to this idea that everything he writes is 100% literal

My Standing pick list for sitcoms re-imagined for the Parahumans Universe:

Community: To the extent that I once did an involved write-up of the Greendale 7 as bush-league capes who, for the most part, haven't actually figured out they have powers. I never tightened it up and ported it over here the way I did with the Team Fortress writeup, because it was absolutely the weaker of the two, but I'm still quite fond of it. Highlight powersets include Pierce as spite tinker who can only build effectively if he's trying to get revenge for petty slights, Abed as a documentarian breaker/thinker who can produce ex-nihlo attenbourough voiceovers of whatever he's looking at that are a mix of truths and conjecture, and Troy as a shaker/brute with a shamrock-style causality power that makes him incredibly difficult to seriously harm (and a broader, Jack Slash-styled power that makes it incredibly difficult for shard-based agents to seriously harm his preferred status quo, justifying the constant snap-backs of the first several seasons.)

It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia: The pitch writes itself, and unsurprisingly I've seen this done at least three times.

Seinfeld: Difficult to carry beyond the structure of a fakeseinfeldplots pitch, but it's there. Also probably the only one of these where the meat wouldn't be giving powers to the main characters so much as coming up with plausibly awkward ways for them to bounce off a society in which powers are a thing. I think I've seen this floating around.

The Office: I think it would be funny to go episode by episode mining scenarios wherein Michael inadvertently causes his subordinates to trigger. This could be fun for the same reason it's specifically fun to put the Dunder-Mifflin crew in something like a zombie scenario- these specific people forced to work together in any situation with actual life-or-death stakes is an inherently funny premise
