4/10 - A little slow and doesn’t navigate turns well, but it gets the shopping done.

0/10 - Large and clunky, the boomer of shopping carts. Always scratchy and dirty.

8/10 - You could drift on this bad boy. Speed is its middle name.

3/10 - Doesn’t meet market demand, could easily be replaced by a basket.

10/10 - Perfect balance of speed and durability. All other carts wish they were her.

I was looking up pictures of what my favorite teddy bear from my childhood would’ve looked like brand new for reference for a tattoo I’m getting tomorrow and at first I got kind of sad looking at rainbies busted up eyes and the lil hole by his sun on his chest. And then I thought about how like no. Rainbie has been on so many adventures and has been played with so hard. This bear has had more hair cuts than I have and I’m bald by choice. This bear has been with me my whole life and yeah it’s very clear just by looking at him but ya know what that just means he’s been well loved.

my strongest take is that if you have more than 5-10 items (range depends on size and ease of scanning) you should not use the self-checkout when there is a perfectly good cashier line already.

If you bring alcohol or other age restricted items to the self checkout I will kill you in the middle of the Walmart and everyone behind me in line will be cheering.
