We all know that Bryce was heartless, in all senses of the word, but I think what people fail to notice is how hard the constant work affected her in the long term. I mean, yeah, she's money hungry and wouldn't stop if there was a literal baby in her way, but she has a heart now, her own heart.

Those 30 years of constant upping the anti while working, working, working, and not to mention the /literal/ heartbreak over bobby, has eaten away at any energy and life she's got left. Now she's got Bobby alive, and she's finally seen as a hero again, all the while she finally has some time to rest after 30 constant years of increasingly harder work; but god she must be tired. You can physically see it in her face. You can see how worn down she is between the two pictures, and you KNOW it's not just because of age. Stress ages you ten times faster and god does Bryce have a story to tell.

i think about this so, so much. do you think that when he held that little girl in his arms he knew he had to go back? do you think that when he held her, this tiny little baby whose mother lay dead at his feet, father was nowhere to be found, he thought of susato? do you think he saw her in iris? do you think that, in the darkness, lady baskerville’s still form might have looked a little like how ayame’s had when she was sleeping, the curve of her shoulder, the waves in her hair. do you think he looked upon her bloodied corpse and her bloodied baby and his bloodied hands and realized that he had left his daughter behind? that he had been too afraid of being alone to stay and be strong for her. that when we lose the people we love sometimes we don’t know how to go on. we can’t go on. he fled to a faraway country months and months away from his baby girl because he didn’t know how to handle it all on his own. do you think he held iris in his arms and realized that he had to go back to his daughter? that he couldn’t leave her to suffer the same fate that this infant would have?

because i think he did. i think he did and he went back and he was a thousand times greater of a father than he would have been otherwise. and i think, in that way, he and iris and herlock and susato will always be connected, the four of them, in a little cycle of love. yuujin loves susato who loves iris who loves herlock who loved yuujin. around and around and around and all because of this single split second.

Two characters: (have a visibly toxic/abusive relationship, literally can’t stand one another, one threatens to kill/endanger the wellbeing of the other SEVERAL TIMES)

Fandom: no they love each other though, can’t you see it

On the other hand…

Two other characters: (become friends, get along well, one mourns the other when they die)

Fandom: I sleep.

If you think the former is love, uh…I don’t know what you’ve been through but that is, in fact, not love, that is dangerous, and I hope you’re okay

I understand a lot of people say “oh it’s only fiction it doesn’t hurt anyone”

…but is that really true??? Fiction can inform people and their choices, and then fiction can impact reality.

Not saying people who ship those things think abusive relationships are true love or that it’s okay, but…I automatically put up a wall and don’t trust that

I don't hate or get annoyed by BiscuitBites/Nuzi as a ship, I just don't care much for most ships in general (besides PinkLemonade/Vizzy because personally I think their dynamic is really cute ok??) And I'm not irritated that Nuzi is becoming canon like a lot of people are complaining about, Murder Drones is not becoming a shipping-focused show because of this, this episode had probably the most horror and emotional scenes by far... I'm happy shipping wars will be over and I'm happy that people are voicing out their happiness that the ship is canon! Yippee! People are happy, everything is good, and I'm not irritated by that! What I do find irritating about some Nuzi shippers is that I'll have actual tears running down my face from reading a V memoriam post and then scroll down to see some people saying that they "didn't care V died that much and that they're glad that V is dead to completely set in stone Nuzi as a ship". Most of the main cast of characters were comfort characters for me and this is a shot in the heart because I loved V as a character. Even though I was kind of emotionally hurt by the last scene, I really do think a sacrifice was a good call by Liam. That won't stop me from being sad however. But PLEASE, I don't want to see people complaining about how everyone's upset over V's death and not putting enough focus on Nuzi confirmation (which both statements are super untrue, both get a respective amount of attention) Like I understand why some people wouldn't be super upset about the (presumably) V death, you can voice your own opinion and not be too emotionally affected by the death and I'm not judging you for that, but when I see people get to the point where they're judging and kind of shaming people for getting stressed or anxious or generally upset at a character death? It kind of kills me. Please stop beatboxing I'm crying on the floor Though a lot of Nuzi shippers I see aren't like this and I'm so happy about that, it's super nice to see that!!!! I've seen some of the most amazing works of this community come from Nuzi people and I still respect them so much because they're still people and part of this fandom even though I don't directly care much for the ship itself anymore, I'm not judging anyone based on their favorite robot pairings (UNLESS YOU'RE LIKE. A PROSHIPPER. ICK. OFF WITH YOU.) :)
