(Story)

The GWT--Grand Walking Titan-- stumbled across these brilliantly glow fungi during a scouting mission. The reasons for the glow could be to ward off predators, or to attract pollinators as some species of Earth fungi do.

While it was suggested taking some onboard to grow for study, it was decided to leave them be. It's currently unknown how widely they might spread, or if the spores--assuming they spread like Earth fungi--might be toxic to humans. Even with airtight doors and high-grade atmosphere filters, there is the risk they could spread through the ship.
