Kera Health
The biggest beauty misconception is thinking you can just slap on some hair tonic or face cream and expect miracles to happen.

Kix *slamming open the door to the barricks after a 20 minute power nap in the medbay*: IT'S GET UP O'CLOCK!!!! RISE AND SHINE VODE!!
Dogma *startles and falls from his bunk*: Agh!
Jesse *bolts up, half asleep, arms raised*: Fight me!!
Echo *who was in a cuddle pile with Fives and Hardcase, violently shoves Fives off the bunk in a rush to get up*: Ready to go!
Fives *on the floor, being stood on by Echo*: Oft *wheezed breath*
Hardcase *dead to the world*
Tup *sits up, hair everywhere*: What's going on?
Rex *standing next to Kix, pinching the bridge of his nose*: So we have drills to do.

I’m tempted to go on T, but there’s one thing thats really setting me back. Both my father and his father went bald very early on in life (starting around senior year of high school). I’m absolutely terrified that I’m going to start balding if I begin taking testosterone
Finasteride will help mitigate hair loss. You can also bring up your concerns with your doctor, and they can discuss best prevention methods with you. There are lots of options (hair loss is a common dysphoria trigger for many cis men), and you can see some of the different treatments people have chosen from this reddit thread.
You can also go for a low-dose of T. It won't stop hair loss, but it will let you take a slower journey through your transition to explore if testosterone is right for you. Do know not all effects of T are reversible, though, including hair loss. But a low dose could give you time to see how being on T makes you feel, and if it's something you feel is worth pursuing even though your fears of hair loss. And if you notice the beginning of hair loss and hate it, you can stop taking T and prevent further loss from occurring.
Finally...it's hair. Hair is one of the most dynamic/least static things on our bodies. Hair loss happens. Hair thinning happens. Hair color changes happen. If you really hate it, then you might find salvation in wigs. But you might also find being bald empowering. There's nothing wrong with baldness! Especially if you're able to just own that and rock it. I think it's worth exploring...what about balding triggers fear for you? What's the underlying fear you're struggling with?
But also - you don't have to have the answers now. It's fine to take as much time as you need to consider this, weigh the pros and cons, and make your decision. It's also completely fine to make one decision now and change your mind later. Spend some time on other transition aspects that may feel more approachable right now. Those might be social, fashion, surgery oriented or anything else. See what kind of happiness you can find without T. It might help you make your decision later down the road.
It's okay. You're not alone. <3

I think part of me expected this burnout would last a long time, but it’s drawing close to a year now. I have a strong reason to suspect medications are prolonging it. Granted: I have no intention of stopping medication, but I suspect I may need to make some changes. It’s been nice not to feel burning rage/crippling despair/panic most of the time, but I also miss being able to actually... act on things! Start things! Feel some semblance of motivation, as fleeting as it is. Mostly my reaction to prompts of any kind are “nah, don’t wanna” or “so what?” which isn’t terribly conducive to anything more than day to day life. (Y’all, I can’t even reliably plan my vacation and that’s pretty terrible.)
I’m saying this in part as a sort of explanation as to why I’ve been so slow to respond to anything, or post any art, or even re-open commissions this past year. I just... generally can’t make myself do anything that isn’t a part of my daily maintenance routine. Knowing that making art (even personal art) takes 3x times as long to complete is a standout reason I’ve been refusing to reopen commissions especially, since I’d be unwilling to make clients wait more than a few months for even something as simple as a sketch. People were patient enough with “Old Me,” I don’t think most would hold out for “New Me.”
Thankfully I’m speaking to my doctor tomorrow regarding my experiences on the current medication, and maybe I can find something that works a little better. I feel like I’ve been pretty fortunate so far, all things considered, and my side effects have been fairly mild. (Though I have suspicions it’s also thinning out my hair something fierce... probably time for supplements for that issue!)
Hopefully I’ll figure it out sooner rather than later? Either way, I’m learning to accept things as they are these days.

What if king records ended hypnosis mic with jakurai cutting his (beautiful!!) long hair to indicate he's forgiven his past-self and ready to accept the future as a mere human and not some-god like figure he's used to
that would be some absolutely gorgeous symbolism i think!!!! i’d actually love to know if there’s a deeper reason that all of mtr have had hair growth in between their most pivotal canon events rather than just a shared design trait 🤔🤔🤔

started taking medication for my horrid feet and I didn't realize this until after buying it and reading over the side effects, but one of the common side effects is altered or lost sense of taste, which "may improve after stopping treatment, but can last for a long time or become permanent" which is like,, my one biggest covid symptom fear that I stop being able to taste and now I'm just popping pills that have a 1-10% chance of just doing that to me

Wigs for Women with Hair Loss: How to Find the Right Option
Are you looking for a wig that is perfect, stylish and most importantly comfortable? If so, then it’s essential to understand how wigs can help women suffering from hair loss. In this blog post we will explore types of wigs available on the market today specifically designed for those who struggle with hair-loss or thinning. We'll also look at what factors women should consider when selecting a wig and provide top tips on finding an option that suits their specific needs.
When considering which type of wig may be best suited for your individual situation there are many different kinds to select from . These include human hair and synthetic options such as lace front, full traditional cap, special occasion or monofilament varieties . Human hair offers more comfort due its natural feel but tends to be much pricier than its artificial counterpart–great if cost isn't an issue! Synthetic hairs offer less expensive alternatives , although they do not have quite the same qualities in terms of style retention over time compared with real strands.
The fit of any chosen physical item must take into account both head size measurements – small (20 - 21 inches), average(22 – 23inches)or large (24+ ) - as well as personal taste preferences. Many shops offer customization services where clients can request trimming down excess amounts before wearing their selection out everyday too! Finally make sure maintenance instructions related necessary products like shampoos/conditioners etc used correctly during launder cycles won’t end up causing damage either directionally !!
If taking these points into consideration sounds daunting don't worry; there's no need to fret about living life without beautiful tresses thanks advancements made recently within industry itself ! Wig suppliers now pride themselves offering helpful customer service support representatives equipped knowledge field willing assist customers find exactly what might suit them based wide choices including length color preference one like source desire whilst maintaining affordability level required budgeting purposes!!
