If there's one funny thing to appreciate Sam for, it's that he can't cook a TV dinner for shit, but...

...he does take sandwiches a bit more seriously (also it's good to know he has condiments and herbs and other stuff like that around to imply his meals are a little more sophisticated than the cooking menu would lead you to believe).

been working on this for a while

the toga was a pain in the ass to figure out how to draw but i think it turned out realy good and i cant be botherd right now to figure out a background so i just made it blue for ultramar

also the skin color is apears somewhat greenish yelow on my main monitor, i think it may just be my monitor not having that saturated reds but it looks okay on my Drawing tablet Screen so it may just be difrent color spaces or something?

Feel free to let me know if youre more informed on what could cause this and how i could fix it

thinking about how, after reading catching fire, I assumed haymitch was a surly, smart aleck teenager that was smarter than the other 47 tributes. only to be shown in sunrise, that he never was that!! I fell victim to the capitol’s propaganda by assuming that how his games portrayed him was accurate. in reality he was kind and the ultimate team player who supported and believed in his allies. but a supportive and kind teenage boy in the games is more dangerous than a loner, rascal kid. the newcomers show that there can be solidarity between the districts. haymitch’s affection for all his adopted children shows that the districts aren’t bestial. their innate nature isn’t “violent” (@ dr. gaul).

just kindness is more dangerous than violence to a fascist regime.

Today was my Second Annual Bad Idea Potluck. I make things that I know are great but can't convince other people to try, and also things that sound horrifying but I'm morbidly curious. Other creations from today:

Old Fashioned and Manhattan jello shots (Old Fashioned was too strong but the Manhattan was great):

and a bizarre cocktail called the Death Flip (which was truly great, do recommend if you like that sort of thing).

Extremely fun party; will do again.

More plushpinos, who are canon now hehe

They were created by a Pizzard (who is definitely a real Pizzard!!!) who was hired by Pizzahead to make even more copies of Peppino. He just did not expect them to be so... soft, so he doesn't utilise them like the lab clones or peppibots

They are a bit on the fragile side either way, usually needing to be restuffed or stitched back up after getting snagged on something, so maybe it is for the best
