Trama: Hannah è la protagonista femminile, ha una cotta per il giocatore di football, Justin Khol. Però lui non sa nemmeno che lei esiste, ma non ci soffermiamo su questo, perchè non è lui il nostro protagonista principale, ma è Garrett, giocatore di Hockey. Si perchè alla Briar ci sono ben due squadre. Lui è un ragazzo ricco, figlio di uno dei giocatori più famosi della storia, ma odia suo padre. Mentre lei non proviene da una famiglia benestante ma la vogliono molto bene. Hannah la lasciato la sua città perchè è successa una cosa molto grave, è stata stuprata, ecco il motivo per il quale si è trasferita da sola in massacchussets. Garrett è bravo in quasi tutte le materie, ma c'è una sola materia in cui ha bisogno di recuperare o non può giocare la partita più importante di hockey, ed essendo il capitano e la pressione del padre che ha addosso lui non può tirarsi indietro. Quando scopre che Hannah è brava in quella materia cerca in ogni modo di farsi aiutare, all'inizio con scarsi risultati, perchè i giocatori non vengono ben visti, hanno la nominata di stare con tutte le donne e poi scaricarle, ma Garrett non è così, lui non fa ubriacare le donne per portarsele a letto, lui va solo con le donne che sono consensienti. Un giorno a una festa lui capisce che Hannah ha una cotta per Justin il giocatore di football, quindi si avvicina a lei e dice di fare un patto, lei aiuta lui a studiare e in cambio lui si finge il suo ragazzo, in modo da darle la popolarità e finalmente Justin sicuramente la noterà. All'inizio lei non accetta, ma quando vede che comunque ogni volta che lei è vicina a Garrett tutti la notano e anche Justin. Quindi inizia a dargli ripetizioni, ma quando iniziano a frequentarsi anche come amici Hannah avrà una strada da scegliere. Perchè c'è un capitolo in cui Justin la invita a cena, ma c'è anche un bacio tra lei e Garrett e qualcosa in più, perchè dopo lo stupro Hannah non riesce più a stare con nessun ragazzo, quindi Garrett si offre ad aiutarla anche in questa situazione. Il punto è che Hannha non dice niente del proprio appuntamento con Justin a Garrett, ma lo viene a sapere grazie a un suo amico di squadra. Dico solo che Garrett si arrabbierà moltissimo. Quindi si presenta da lei chiedendo se effettivamente è la verità. Cosa succederà dunque quando sarà il momento di uscire con Justin? Lei sceglierà di andarci ugualmente o sceglierà Garrett? Sta a voi scoprirlo leggendo il libro.

Mi è piaciuto moltissimo come libro, si lascia leggere e non stanca. Ho adorato Garrett ma anche Dean uno dei suoi migliori amici e come voto gli do un bel 4.5 anche per Hannah è lo stesso voto, la sua evoluzione con l'aiuto di Garrett e qualcosa di meraviglioso solo che non mi è piaciuto il fatto che non ha detto nulla del suo appuntamento con Justin. Quindi vi consiglio questo libro se non ancora l'avete letto.

Eu queria muito ter gostado mais desse livro. ☹️

Antes de tudo, vale destacar que a escrita da autora, foi, de longe, algo que me fez querer continuar a história. Pra quem não sabe, Elle Kennedy é autora de Off Campus, uma série bem famosa no bookredes, que eu gosto muito, talvez por esperar algo parecido, que eu tenha me frustrado um pouquinho com essa história.

Oa personagens são bem construídos, apesar de alguns momentos causar uma raivinha, digna de livros do gênero; além disso, a história é repleta de clichês, o bad boy pobretão que se aproxima da menina risacassa filha de político, a amiga que sente ciúmes do bad boy, o irmão problemático do cara e assim por diante... O que não é problema nenhum, se eu tivesse ao menos me apegado a esses personagens.

Acho que aqui tá o grande problema do livro pra mim, não ter conseguido me aproximar desses personagens, diferentemente de off campus, no qual eu me apaguei quase instantaneamente à Hannah e Garrett, aqui não rolou isso, a única personagem que ganhou completamente meu coração foi Daisy, uma cachorrinha que foi salva pelo casal.

O livro também traz uma trope/clichê principal que eu não suporto (assunto para outro post) então isso também somou ao fato dos personagens não terem me conquistado.

Porém, é uma história rápida, leve (na medida do possível) e ótima pra sair da ressaca ou depois de uma leitura mais cansativa. A Elle continua criando personagens que chama atenção e faz o leitor devorar o livro.

Síndrome de Boa Garota Garota foi lançado recentemente pela Editora Paralela.

Não vai ter jeito: ela vai ter que sair da zona de conforto Mesmo que isso signifique dar aulas particulares para o infantil, irritante e convencido capitão do time de hóquei, em troca de um encontro de mentirinha. Tudo o que Garrett Graham quer é se formar para poder jogar hóquei profissional. Mas suas notas cada vez mais baixas estão ameaçando arruinar tudo aquilo pelo qual tanto se dedicou. Se ajudar uma garota linda e sarcástica a fazer ciúmes em outro cara puder garantir sua vaga no time, ele topa. Mas o que era apenas uma troca de favores entre dois opostos acaba se tornando uma amizade inesperada. Até que um beijo faz com que Hannah e Garret precisem repensar os termos de seu acordo.

Fiz a leitura de " O acordo" no dia 21/01 e super amei. O livro fala sobre o início da amizade de Garrett Graham e Hannah Wells ( Wellsy) e com o passar seu romance.

Garrett é o capitão do time de Hóquei no gelo na faculdade de Briar e filho de um jogador famoso. Hannah estuda música e trabalha no Mallone's. O bar onde todo mundo vai KKK

Pra quem gosta de um romance escolar, vai gostar muito dessa série!! É composta por 4 livros principais e se eu não me engano 4 novels.

Me apaixonei demais por esse livro de uma maneira inexplicável, gostei de como abordou a história de ambos e fiquie triste em partes como a fase difícil da adolescência da Hannah e o pai abusivo de Garrett.

Ambos são totalmente maduros em relação ao romance deles e isso me deixou muito mais empolgada pra ler, oque não falta entre eles é diálogo e tudo se resolve a base disso! AMEI.

A escrita da autora é fluida e é um livro muito gostosinho de ler.

Livro recomendado pra maiores de 18. Contém gatilhos e palavras explícitas.

Duggar-Caldwell #3 Baby Name, Weight, Length Guesses

In August 2020, Joe and Kendra announced they were expecting their third child. In November it was revealed their baby is a girl and she is due to be born at the end of February 2021.

Joe and Kendra announced their first pregnancy in December 2017. Their first child, a son named Garrett David, was born on June 8th, 2018 and ended my time of having no Duggar birthday twin. Garrett weighed 7lbs 8oz and measured 20.5 inches at the time of his birth. They announced they were expecting their second child the following April. Addison Renee was born on 2nd November 2019 weighing 7lb 12.5 oz and measuring 20.5 inches, during the Duggar/Bates Bowgeddon. Remember 2019? When the world was ‘normal’!

Date of birth, Length and Weight Predictions

Kendra’s previous labors went well with no complications, however she has gone into labor a few days early with both her children so I think baby will arrive on 22nd February. I think the baby will measure 20.3 inches and weigh 7lbs 11oz.

First Name

Joe and Kendra’s first two children are named Garrett and Addison, both names have at least one set of double consonant letters so it’s possible this is the theme they’ve chosen. Possible options for girls include Hallie, Savannah, Emma, Elliana, Tiffany, Isabelle, Danielle, Gabriella, Brooklyn, Lillian, Charlotte, Willow, Ellie, Quinn. They do seem to like longer names too.

Both Garrett and Addison’s names also have seven letters but I’m not sure if Joe and Kendra are intelligent enough to notice and I’m not sure where that theme would come from. 

JoKen seem to like to choose names that are cutesy or have a cutesy nickname so it could be something like Riley, Paisley, Alexa, Molly(ie) or Aubrey

Middle Name

I think Joe and Kendra will continue to have a family names as middle names for their children. I think it’s also possible they could begin to use virtue names like her Mom does for her daughters (Lauren Hope, Olivia Grace).
