another lil about me~

NAME?: lumi / lumina PRONOUNS?: she/they MOST ACTIVE MUSES?: definitely amalthea right now, with a rotating interest for my multi (@wxnderers) being ezra and lazarus. i may add another to the multi soon, a mermaid im slowly picking at. EXPERIENCE/HOW MANY YEARS?: 20 years now, i started writing on forums in 04 and then joined a niche online community shortly thereafter. i stayed on that platform, only dabbling a little bit in tumblr rp around 2013/14. however ive recently taken a massive step back from it and have dedicated myself to my tumblr rp blog because i genuinely find it more rewarding as a writer. FLUFF, ANGST OR SMUT?: a mix of all three is ideal. i tend to skew more for fluff and angst, with some flexible guidelines for plots because i enjoy a sense of structure/goal for a story. smut is preferably only applicable for ships that have been discussed oocly and has in-character chemistry. LONG OR SHORT REPLIES?: i consider myself a novella writer, so i tend to write long / multi paragraph replies. however i never expect my partners to be that, or match my length. as long as i have something to respond to / the story moves along, we are vibing. despite having a bit of a tendency to ramble with my words, i still try to at least match my partner's length for posts. TIME TO WRITE?: mid-morning to afternoon, sometimes the evenings after work. it really depends on my energy level / if ive had caffeine xD i work a desk job too, so on slow office days, i work on drafts when i can.

Happy Caturday. Here's a new baby I got yesterday

She is 10 months old (the vet estimates) and leaped into my friend's car a couple days ago. So one vet visit later and we're here! She is very sweet and friendly

Happy Caturday!! This is my cat Caramel (but I usually just call her “pisi” because that’s kitty in Romanian :DD ). I only see her when I go to Romania cause she lives with my grandma but she is the most adorable :3. I think she truly loves me. The last picture was taken after I returned from running away to a river for 3 hours without telling anyone so i could get away from everyone for a moment. It was stupid of me cause everyone was worried, and I could tell my cat was worried too… she usually never meows but she was meowing a lot when I returned. <33

I love my cat so much… during the Christmas of 2021, we came to Romania for the holidays but I was upset that I couldn’t have had a sleepover with all of my friends even if we didnt go to Romania because my parents are strict and they dont want me to sleep at someone else’s house. I remember getting in bed and having my cat next to me. It all got a bit overwhelming and I started crying. My cat’s paw was outstretched by her side and I put my hand over it for comfort and SHE PLACED HER OTHER PAW ON MY HAND and looked at me like she understood!!! It made me feel so much better…. Cats are the best! When she was a kitten she would often move in her sleep as if distressed and I would hold her close, hoping it would help with whatever nightmare she was having.

I really don’t get why people would ever hate these amazing creatures and even harm them!!! It’s true that they don’t always want you touching them, but that just makes me like them more cause they know how to say no. I was a little too clingy with my cat last summer because I was sad I couldn’t always see my cat and I wanted to cuddle as much as I could with her. But in the process I made her uncomfortable by picking her up (she doesn’t like to be picked up) and forcing her to stay by my side. I have now realised the importance of boundaries even with your pets <333

This cat has helped me in rough times and helped me become a better person. Cats rule!

Celebrating this Caturday with two special cats I got to meet in my life!

In 2018 I got to meet a special black cat named Khan. Khan had severe Cerebellar Hypoplasia, which caused him to be deformed but still able to live a happy and mischievous life. He eventually had an issue with his immune system that caused him to lose his right eye too. Khan was able to waddle around the house and act like a normal cat, but he still needed assistance with other common things in his life like grooming and getting into a litter box. He had the funniest little meow and would walk up to you and squawk when he wanted to be held or pet.

In 2018 we were approached by my mother's life long friend and owner of an animal rescue (where we had gotten two of our cats from before) and asked if we could foster Khan and we decided we would. It was then later decided that we instead would be his new owners instead of his foster family. He presented his challenges as we were new to taking care of a disabled cat, but we quickly got used to each other and bonded. Khan was the sweetest cat and the most special one I have met.

Before we fostered Khan, he stayed at the home of my mother's friend. There, Khan had his own disabled friend in the form of a young cat named Marshall. Marshall had been a feral cat hit by a car out in the country and left to die. He could no longer use his hind legs and could only drag himself around. My mother's friend took him in and tamed him to be a sweet and loving boy who wore a cute little diaper harness and dragged himself around on his butt. Marshall would always cuddle with Khan and they loved each other.

In 2018 we lost Khan to a sudden kidney failure just a few days shy of our one year anniversary of bringing him home. He taught me a lot about disabled animals and made me truly appreciate those who care for disabled animals out of love no matter how hard it can be. Just a few days ago, Marshall died suddenly and unexpectedly despite the efforts of my mother's friend trying to help him in any way she could.

Marshall, say hi to Khan for me across the rainbow bridge. You two can now cuddle as much as you want. I love you both ❤️
