#destiel#dean winchester#castiel#spnfanart#spn fanart#spncreatorsdaily#spn art#wiggleart#first drawing on my new iPad!I actually#started it on my old iPad yesterday but I wanted to finish it on this one lol#I redraw my first drawing on my first iPad! which is what is linked#y’all lemme tell you how happy I was because I didn’t feel the pressure of counting layers to make sure I wasn’t#getting close to the limit since on my iPad Air#a canvas this size I can only have like 15 layers or 10 if I used a canvas a little bigger#and if you look at the first art I did with the iPad Air that was fine because I wasn’t using that many layers#but now I use a lot like I can use up to 30 or 40 because everything is its own separate layer it’s all put together like a puzzle#hence the needed upgrade lol#I’m so excited to get started on ideas I wanted to do but couldn’t get to on my old hardware!

I would very much like to infoblast about Raven Beak's powersuit upgrade library with all the optimizations, QoL tweaks, security features, and the myriad integration systems Samus is currently lacking with her babby suit, but alas. Time restrictions.
#txt#not art#don't get me wrong it's a good suit. but samus is running on old hardware (ruins test suit) that's literally been dissected (Fusion)#and augmented by comparatively inferior (at least in Raven Beak's 'humble' opinion) GalFed tech#and she's had her arsenal stripped down to the hard-coded essentials more times than should be possible for any reasonable warrior#barring the whole 'Metroid powers ate my firmware updates' thing from Dread#Raven Beak looks at that technical hodge podge of a suit which can apparently have some features remotely restricted by the Feds at will#and he's like 'girl you need an upgrade'#he can understand the whole Metroid DNA eating your suit thing but the rest of it he chalks up to the powersuit equivalent#of a faulty hard drive being dropped on the hard dirty ground and all of the data within going the way of the Titanic#he's like a gazillion years old so all he sees is an eight year old dropping their Gameboy Advance SP with Pokemon Crystal in the game slot#staring blankly at the screen as they boot up the system to find that their entire save is gone

#(describes things that are just a new look with less customization) more than just a new look!#(the right click menu is a mess in win 11 requiring an extra button press and clashing ui design to reveal basic functionality) find things#with fewer clicks!#i mean no wonder 60% of users haven't upgraded. they do not even spindoctor their new evil technology like copilot in their own copy.#is it because most older hardware does not even have the architecture to support the “neural engine accelerated” features?#like let me go through it. 1. added dedicated “weather and news” widget that in practicality just displays ads. 2. start is centered now#and less customizable. you cannot move the taskbar anymore. 3. native integrated zone snapping. i mean. not bad in itself but works worse#than powertoys. which is a win app to begin with. that i would use instead in win 11. and that you can install to win 10.#4. new ui design for multiple desktop overview. basically just a macos copy but i'll give them it looks slightly less confusing than what's#in win 10. win 10 does have multi desktop natively though? 5. you call it simpler and quicker when you kill the native calendar and mail#apps and replace them with the horrible outlook wrapped webapp. which comes with ads you cannot deactivate????

One of the reasons I've been desperately craving the Switch 2/Super Switch/whatever the hell Nintendo winds up calling it is because I am desperate to play Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity and Fire Emblem: Three Hopes with acceptable (preferably better than acceptable) performance.
Those game are so great, but the appeal of grinding is diminished so heavily by them running so slow you basically have to dial in your attacks a few seconds in advance.
#also as it happens TotK and FE Engage slipped into my backlog and I imagine those would also benefit from a hardware upgrade#video games

#honestly hate the software stuff more than the hardware when it comes to pc upgrades#hardware stuff is scary in the moment but nowhere near as infuriating as realizing your hard drive backup is incomplete#so now it's time to wade through microsoft shitware for days on end getting things back to a usable state

Tree! Singular! We're still working on it, got a few more things to do before we duplicate it a few times and stick it in strategic areas around the scene, but we're in the home stretch and we're almost done! Woo!!!

New brain parts for my PC is here, spent extra on the RGB RAM because it helps with taking better Minthara pics/gifs
#the hardware stuff doesn't scare me but BIOS and Win 11 upgrade do#even though I literally will have to take everything off except the PSU and HDD SSDs in the back#I could spend $30 more for a 360mm liquid cooler but after having to replace the stock one nopeee#anyway this has to wait I have unexpected period my brain does not have enough blood asdasdas#personal

Really funny seeing people talk about the switch two cause im so fucking excited. Finally after all these damn years we get a nintendo console that isnt shit and is on par with the steam deck!!! How is that not exciting!! I dont care if you can play more games on the Deck i want to play totk with butter smooth fps

it's crazy that grif already needed heavy surgery so they could've just made Him the cyborg instead of like, doing the flesh-for-flesh transfusion.
i know sarge is the type of guy that loves botching hard work & inconveniencing his subordinates for personal gain and using his power tools
anyways hooray to dr. grey, i know she'll love patching grif & simmons up then coming across a bunch of fun biological issues to analyze- i mean fix. she'd definitely fix whatever's going weird with them
#what if they have different blood types. what if grif's been anemic or has weird blood-flow issues cuz he's processing 2 diff types of oil#what if dr. grey gave him synthetic blood or created a new blood-type just for him. what if he asked for some cool tattoos#what if she reprogrammed his sweat glands & other biological timers that got wonky when he got a bunch of new organs & limbs#ok im not going down this road anymore. i wanna go back to watching the colour guard cartoon#rvb posting#tho like. im sure simmons & gray would have fun upgrading his hardware & putting in gamer lights and whatever acrylic panelling is
