Brian had picked up the harmonica very quickly at first, and I think Mick didn’t want to be left behind. I wouldn’t be surprised if from the beginning it wasn’t just from being in competition with Brian. He wanted to play in the band musically as well.
And Mick turned out to be the most amazing harp player.

Matt facts.
there is some musical talent flowing through Matt's veins. while he doesn't prize himself as any type of musical genius he will admit that his outstanding skill lies with one specific instrument: the synth harmonica.

I'm 34 and haven't dated in a looooooooooooong time, and I have had this same dark thought in my more depressive moments. But The King of Shitposting is dead right here, and I want to add my two cents.
Abusers and other assorted assholes get into relationships because they don't really give a shit about other people's feelings, only their own. They are kind and thoughtful only in as much as it secured them companionship, but they don't want a genuine partnership.
But those relationships? They're nothing you want and they tend not to last. They are a pitcher plant, superficially sweet to lure someone in before dissolving them to get what they need.
The asker here would be fresh out of high school and that environment gives you a warped-ass view of relationships because you already have a "relationship" of some kind to everyone in your dating pool. But viewing a romantic relationship as the end goal shouldn't necessarily be your mindset. You develop hobbies, find communities, you meet people, you make friends, and then romance develops. You have to have a relationship with a person before you can be in a relationship with them, so to speak. The friend zone doesn't exist, just different sorts of chemistry.
Good luck kid!
Puki, I'm 18yo and I've never had a romantic relationship and this has been taking a big mental tow on my head, if abusive and horrible people get into relationships does this means I'm worse than them???
I know you're only 18 so I'm not gonna be too hard on you, but don't be a dummy. Many people get into relationships and many people are horrible, both of these things are their own criteria. There are a million reasons why someone might be in a relationship and there are a million reasons why someone might not be in a relationship - many of those reasons have nothing to do with eligibility or morality. Also you're 18, you're practically a baby, give yourself time, explore your interests, work on self-improvement, everything else falls into place naturally.
