I started reading White Fragility for reasons that were probably not the healthiest, and now I'm finding it bizarrely addictive.

It's surprisingly bad.

This is a half formed idea that I may abandon, but I'm not sure it's worth arguing about the racial politics of the book because I'm not entirely sure it actually *has* any coherent racial politics.

Probably more once I finish the book.

It's sociologically fascinating despite being, again, extremely bad. And like... not bad because I disagree with it, bad in the sense of being a poor example of the thing it is trying to be.
