hii! i love your all your fics and clinic was the fic that got me into fanfiction 💕 A couple weeks ago i started a clinic!wilbur piece that i was gonna send to you on your birthday (ik august is a long time away but i was giving myself time incase of art block) but since the recent wilbur situation ive decided to change the character that i was drawing and wanted your input because this drawing is prettu much gonna be a birthday gift! Ridiculous Groupie Things Diane does to Hobie @ Shows (aka, Hobie realizing how much misogyny Diane goes through)

[This post is about my Spider-sona Diane Pastors, aka DiscoSpider, aka Hobie's number one fan. Their relationship status is officially groupie and guitarist.]

She owns a number of clothing that she wears only to his concerts, usually to annoy others

All of which Hobie loves. A couple are:

Of course, her signature guitar pick chain

A pair of booty shorts with 'HOBIE' bedazzeled across the ass

A number of shirts with his autograph, usually band tees from his tour

One of his spiked cuffs (he doesn't know she has it. yes, he's looking for it)

The most transferable lipstick she owns. She digs in the bottom of her makeup bag to find the one that smears the most and leaves a mark.

Hobie looks cute in kiss marks

A pair of Pleaser Brand stripper heels. Spider-balance means you'll never catch her tripping

At 5'11 - Any heel over 6 inches makes Diane taller than him, which Hobie ADORES - and he tells her this. He loves a stallion.

So she'll where 8 inch Pleaser heels, so she stands over the crowd. You WILL see her from the stage she's like the only chick in here that's 6'7"

But Hobie still carries a spare pair of shoes. He'll give her his chucks - or if she drukenly begs, his boots, and he gets to walk around holding the world's tallest heels

Fuck it, it'll just swap shoes with her and put them on. He's standing there in heels while she's in his boots talking about how her feet hurt

She wears one of Hobies shirts around a belt loop.

Hobies likes to throw his shirt off stage.

Fans love fighting for that shit like it's a wedding reception and he's throwing the bouquet

But here comes Diane-

She's 6'7" in heels and RIGHT next to the stage - so she's always catches it. Snatches that shit right out the air. Full on interceptions.

And of course the other fans get pissed, because sis you already have his pick what more do you want

Is he aiming it in her direction? Or does she just know which way he's gonna throw it??

Who cares - either way she got it and will wear it on her waist the whole night. It's debatable if she even gives the shirt back to him. Only if she doesn't like the design that much

She always asks him what he's wearing so they can color coordinate

Gets annoyed when he shrugs and goes 'idunno was just gonna pull something on'

Cause Diane has to carefully algorithmically put together outfits like she's Cher from Clueless

She uses the Lyla in her watch for fashion advice even though Miguel tells her that's not what Lylas for

(Diane: but look at her little coat and glasses and stuff. She knows what she's talking about)

Meanwhile Hobie can pull on ANYTHING and it'll come together like Alexander McQueen rose from the grave to construct it himself

She gets his autograph every time

She'll wait in the line like everyone else - she doesn't care

Hobie laughs every time she makes it to the front

He'll be ready to thank the fan and sign the photo only to look up and Diane's standing there - big ass smile on her face

Drunk, 6'7" like "Awwww I'm your biggest fan, I'm so happy to meet you, I love you so much AH 👅

She's constantly caught by security who thinks she's just a rabid fan that snuck in

And she HATES bouncers with a passion. Like a vendetta against them irregardless of universe

It's a personal thing (they never let her into the Disco clubs before she turned 18. So she hates them, even though that's their job)

BUT NOW she looks at bouncers like 'im taller and stronger than you so don't put yourself between me and my man cause GOOD LUCK brotha'

Hobie has to step in all the time and break up arguments to tell security that yeah there's rabid groupies backstage that need to be taken care of

Except this one, this one he specifically knows already - she's fine

But there's some she's cool with

Some bouncers that know her face and guitar pick and let her through right away because she buys people drinks and she's a friendly drunk

It's not rare for Hobie to walk by a bouncer and have them say 'Oi, Diane's looking for you.'

She talks up every guitarist in the venue. Featuring Artist or an opening act? If you're a guitarist GREAT

it's like she spawns next to you like a COD lobby

Half the time she catches them off guard like

Guitarists in the circuit know about her. She's THE GROUPIE.

Like the Godfather of Ginessing Guitarists

It's helpful that Hobie always knows when someone is talking about Diane.

He's heard it all - The groupie chick, the guitarist girl, or his favorite - "Hobie's girl."

One of the only times he doesn't correct people on that.

Because he knows they don't mean it like that, they just know that Diane is here for HIM, and she's his plus 1.

If you perform after Hobie - tough tiddies. She's leaving with him.

Shoot your shot before he gets on stage and DO NOT try and talk to her during his set.

All the guitarists know about her - and yeah she'll fuck them but they better know come Saturday she's gonna be at HOBIE's show goddamn it

Don't be asking her to come see you on show night she's gonna look at you like 'absolutely not. actually you're ridiculous for asking lose my number'

It doesn't come without it's slutshaming

And that's what surprised Hobie so much.

He knew about sexism OF COURSE but he just didn't realize how quick people are to just go there - for no reason.

Diane LOVES fellow groupies, but some don't love her. A small percentage.

And it's been a couple times Hobie's heard one call Diane a slut or bimbo under their breath. He seen girls outright call her a bitch.

There's been girls who try to trip her, or spill drinks down her dress, or get her kicked out or something

And Diane usually has the same response : "Can't wait to tell Hobie about this after I fuck him. AGAIN."

And if you don't like it - talk to this Daiquiri in the face cause she's throwing her drink yfvlhvjlj

She's not fighting anybody - for their sake. She has an unfair advantage being both pretty and semi-superhuman.

But Diane is more likely to be wounded by it if it comes from a girl. She's not taking any shit - but she's like 'Damn sis we could've been besties.'

But it's the dudes that get Hobie really heated, and it makes his skin crawl

Dudes who ask him questions, ask if Diane is easy or how many times they shagged. If he thinks they have a chance at getting her in bed, what she's willing to do

Sometimes dudes make the mistake of thinking Hobie is a safe space for sexist shit like that - HE ISN'T.

Sometimes they just say the most vulgar shit about her, or what she's wearing, thinking he'll be like 'i know that's right bruv'

NO.

Hobie isn't one to violence when someone is simply being a dumbass, but he will quickly tell them that if he catches dude around her, he's gonna ruin his mfing night

Hobie isn't possessive or protective of Diane by any means

But he hates people who take her for an idiot - just because she's enjoying herself. Especially guys who only see her as a little groupie bot that dispenses sex and attention

He's seen her defuse bombs and shit on missions. She's so much more than that

And Diane tells him to ignore it, or even better, laugh at it. That's what she does

Diane has been dealing with it all her life - being taken for one-dimensional, or worse, dumb

Sometimes even Miguel or Jess treat her like she's nowhere near as smart as an average Peter.

And sure it hurt sometimes, Diane would love if she could come up with plans or gadgets like everyone else

But she's realized that whenever she's called things like a bimbo or a groupie, usually the people who mean it hurtfully are just as one-dimensional as they think she is

She figures if these people lack the self awareness to see her for who she is, she already has an advantage on them

Sure, she wishes she could be the 'professional, respected' woman like Jess is. But then she thinks for more than two seconds

Then realizes she loves sparkles, and dancing, and funky basslines and fruity cocktails and pretty boys.

And all of that makes her way happier than all that stuffy shit

She likes being a groupie. She LOVES it.

The way Hobie smiles when she compliments him, doing her makeup in bar bathrooms and feeling the excitement backstage during soundcheck, or waiting in line for autographs with the Lucky Charms

Always making her way to the front row and looking up at him, seeing his eyes search for her in the crowd

And when they're eyes meet, it's always like she's back at her first time at a show.

She wouldn't do it if it didn't make her happy.

And that's why Hobie loves it too.

No matter how 'weird' someone may think it is.

She's not hurting anybody, she's just being happy.

She's showing her love for him - and she's not letting anyone stop her. And he loves her for it.

Every guitarist needs a great groupie.

It didn't start out that way, but Hobie found he loved songs a lot more when Diane couldn't get them out of her head

When she went around the boathouse humming a chorus or repeating a lyric

or outright GUSHING about how cool the song is, how awesome he'd look on stage playing it, which of his outfits goes along best.

And every time she says it's her favorite, he can help but make it a single.

He always wants to make the songs as catchy as he can, just to hear the sound of her singing them when only he can hear.

I am plural, sharing a body with a rabbit girl named Moon. Hello, all! It's Moon- I'm not typically around as much as Mira, but it's always a pleasure when I can be~

I do have a partner, and I will always talk about them given the opportunity, but I carry a certain form of love for all of my close friends. The people I know mean a lot to me.

I love the simple things in life, from food, to nature, to the contrast of light and dark in both a literal and literary sense. I often find myself overwhelmed by everything that goes on in the world, but I find comfort in knowing the bad stuff is only a few bad people out of a beautifully diverse species.

If you couldn't tell, I generally prefer looking on the bright side and finding something to love about things rather than staying miserable all of the time. I don't get out much, and so I'd much rather give people that light to hold onto than spread the same old bleak story that you've heard from countless other people, regardless of how important it is to share. Change is built on hope, after all.

Normally people put a DNI in their bio or their pinned post, but I don't really care to do that. If you're a bitch, I'll block and move on. I don't care how you use a label, or where the other folks in your head came from, or whatever other queer-adjacent drama is the hot topic, I accept you regardless. I'm ace, I still love my partner, I can love anyone, I use it/its pronouns, I'm robokin, I've got another goober in my head whose origins are unknown, do you really think I'd hate you for being you?

That's actually an important point- even if I do think something someone's done is unforgivable, I believe that bad people are still people. In some ways, that makes things better, they have lives outside of what they commit, but it also makes things worse when you realize someone woke up and actively chose to perpetuate genocide. Some people are genuinely that bad, others are just misguided and can be helped. Ultimately, it's not my job to "save" anyone. I just try to provide a light of kindness when I can.

Wow, that was long-winded for a post that's just supposed to describe me. I suppose that's in-character for me, though. Agree with me or not, I don't really care, as long as you're respectful. As long as someone’s specific depiction of the ship isn’t abusive, they shouldn’t get flack for it. However, if you ARE someone who romanticizes abusive versions of these ships, please get out.

Also note that due to my nebularomanticism (arospec umbrella), I do not know what the fuck romantic love is supposed to feel like or look like, the lines between strong platonic bonds and romance are so blurry they barely exist for me, and such- all of my ships are queerplatonic in some way. I have never seen any ship as solely romantic and I don’t think I’m capable of that. But I also do not limit the types of intimacy I depict these characters having. If you’re not ok with queerplatonic kissing or holding hands or other forms of “romantic gestures” or if you think they can’t exist, get out.

Keep in mind that while my art and personal works ARE here, this blog IS a personal blog. I DO vent on here and often talk about personal topics. Be aware. OKAY SO I GOT LIKE A LOT OF GEM OCS HERE SO I MIGHT RAMBLE

BUT THE MAIN ONES I LOVE AND HAVE THE MOST LORE FOR ARE: LaLi (Lapis Lazuli, she/her), Pearl (he/him), and Bear (Pink Beryl, they/he) !

Together, they are the Flower Gems—sworn protectors of preserving the Earth's beauty, flora, and fauna.

Putting this under a read more bc i typed a lot <:3c

Starting with my dear LaLi, she was the first gem oc (used to be gemsona) i made back in 2014 !! Here's her most up-to-date visual vs her first one owo

Lapis Lazuli's are my fav gemstones (thanks hamtaro) and i made her before SU Lapis was announced/revealed. LaLi is a friendly gem who loves sparring, human culture, photography, playing the piano, and meeting new beings. She can manipulate both water and sand, but she mainly prefers fighting with her Khopesh sword weapon. She taught herself how to fight by watching some soldier gems during her terraforming days.

She grew a bond with Pearl when she was assigned to aid his superior, Petalite, and wanted to get to know him more. During the time of the rebellion, Petalite abandoned Pearl when their ship was attacked, causing LaLi to whisk Pearl away to Earth away from the danger. There, she and Pearl began to grow closer and find themselves in their new world. They even had their first fusion (Prehnite) on Earth !

She started out pretty silent and observant, but she soon blossomed into an outgoing type who wants to fight for her friends (and fight in general, she loves to fight). She's still very much observant tho, making sure their world is free from dangers and her buddies are doing okay, becoming the de facto leader of the Flower Gems.

Next up, we have my second gem oc (also used to be gemsona) Pearl ! I created Pearl before there were any lore or information that there were other Pearls as well as Pearl being my birthstone and another favorite gemstone of mine :3

I haven't made a new visual for him, but here's his sort of up-to-date visual vs his first one

At first, Pearl's lore was that he was a Homeworld Gem that had a past with LaLi and came down to Earth to retrieve her. He was sort of an antagonist to her. Now, as explained above, he was saved by LaLi and lived life with her on Earth to protect it's life. He was a self-proclaimed Fire Flower Knight.

Pearl is a somewhat snooty and arrogant gem who likes to keep up appearances and make sure everything is in proper check if LaLi is off doing her own thing. He can manipulate fire/heat and has a Glaive weapon. He's pretty hard to read and doesn't like to hang out with other as much as LaLi does, but he does like spending time with her, playing the violin, and sparring. Once you get to know him, he's pretty soft and kind and deathly afraid of rabbits. He's usually in charge of doing retcons and keeping maps and charts of places they've been.

Overall, Pearl is a pretty loyal gem who grew to be his own being and not allow to be controlled or shaped to fit anyone that didn't allow him to just be himself.

Lastly of the trio, we have Bear ! They also lack an updated ref, but here's their most up-to-date visual vs their first one !

Bear's lore is that they were once a scholar gem on Homeworld, tasked with other Beryls to keep track of Gem History and Culture. His rank was pretty high and respected and he played his part and didn't care much for other gems nor the rebellion. However, in some of his notes on Earth where he jotted down it's beauty, the other beryls interpreted as Bear becoming rogue and planned to have him interrogated. Around the same time, he encountered another former high ranking gem, now turned "defect" by the name of Dentritic Agate (Dendé). Long story short, Dendé attacked Bear for being to nosey in his business and the two sort of have a history of not liking each other. They did end up crossing paths on Earth later on.

Bear ended up on Earth escaping his interrogation where they knew they were going to either get shattered or bubbled forever. Because of this, they were labeled a "traitor" and had a bounty on their head. He ended up getting wrapped up in the Gem War and poofed on the battle field, however, his gem managed to get buried underground for years. Eventually, he managed to reform by tapping into his latent earth manipulation, resurfacing to a new world.

With no one to turn to, Bear isolated themselves from other beings, trusting no one, but found comfort and solace with the Earth and animals around him. They ended up taking up forms of animals he befriended, especially a family of bears he was "adopted" into. He soon encountered humans, but kept his distance. However, these humans were destroying the forest he resided in, so he took on multiple forms of animals to drive them away, soon becoming an urban legend of a Shapeshifting Forest Protector.

i know i do want to work on his backstory more, but essentially he did end up getting close to a human after saving them and the human pestering them to be friends. Bear watched was there in the human's life watching them grow and have a family until one day their village was attacked and burned to the ground. The human ultimately got caught in cross fire and subsequently died in Bear's presence. Wanting to protect the place this human cared so much about, Bear shapeshifted into a multitudes of beasts and laid waste to the pillagers, but indirectly destroyed what little the village had left.

The remnant of people, including the human's family that survived, connected that Bear was that one myth of the forest, took it as a bad omen, and tried to have him killed. He ended up fleeing and never wanted to get close to humans again. Years later, he was founded by LaLi who was so ecstatic to see another gem and wanted him to join her small gem group of two. At first, Bear was annoyed, but LaLi's continuous pestering reminded him of his late human.

Begrudgingly, he joined her and found home with LaLi and Pearl. He was left alone to his own devices and mainly either stayed in his room or tended the gardens around their base. He tolerated the two and even saw them as family, SOMEWHAT, but he doesn't show it. He does care about them in his own, indirect way, and eventually made it his goal to become stronger to keep those he holds dear safe.

Oh also, they can manipulate Earth and their weapons are Dual Tonfas nwn they love playing their flute and tending flowers

So my funky sona originated from an animation i had created! I wanted something somewhat easy to animate, and i figured if my character was made out of goo i could ignore anatomy

(Here’s a little snippet of it, i know its crunchy it was at 8 fps and it’s OLD)

I then kinda stuck with it! It started to become a representative of me and how i felt about myself at the time. Whenever i drew myself in my sketchbook or anything, i would draw myself at this sona cause I wasn’t really happy with how i looked.

But now it’s more of just how i represent myself online! I chose the name Ectype, because it means a copy or mimic of an original, which is what they are to me now!

For some funky little facts, they do have bones but no muscles or skin, they can photosynthesize (thats why they're green, cause of all of that tasty chlorophyll), and when they get nervous, the goo around their hands starts to melt off along with the face and hair (?) area. I decided that because when i get anxious my hands get so freaking sweaty and clammy its not cool beans.

So like, I'm not calling this abuse, do NOT take it this way, but. It *is* really annoying, frustrating, and a bit hurtful, that I've lived like 8 years of growing my hair our as long as I can with my parents rarely saying anything nice about it.

Like even WAY before I knew I was a girl, I wanted my hair as long as I could reasonably grow it. That's why I drew my sona with such long hair even in her earliest designs. And I'd always get from my grandma "when are you getting your hair cut" and my parents always telling me that it didn't look good. "You need to style it, it's way out of control" "Look at this photo of you with your curls, I still love that so much" like. Eventually I had to put my foot down and tell my parents I didn't appreciate their comments and the frequency has slowed down. And I have gotten compliments about my hair but it's been very very rare.

My hair IS curly naturally, I think? but it's so long it weighs down the curl and just makes it wavy and, honestly, just. frizzy as fuck. It's a *lot* it's very thick and fuzzy which, is unfortunate bc I would really enjoy having straighter hair. But I do my best to take care of it, I comb it in the shower and I wash and condition it every couple of days. It doesn't look the best and I wish it looked exactly how it looked in my fursona's design. But you wanna know the worst part about those comments?

Every. Single. Person. online or offline who's seen my hair, and isn't part of my family. Loves it. I've literally been told by many people they wish they had my hair. And it baffles me so much every time, because while I appreciate the compliments... I've had so many comments from my family directed at the idea that my hair DOESN'T look good... and then when I do literally nothing to it and take a pic I get told it's awesome. Even teachers from my high school told me they liked my hair, and I was WORSE about taking care of it back then.

It just gets me struck with "I don't know what to believe" syndrome bc I truly don't know how to feel about my own hair. So I get upset being told it doesn't look good but I don't know how to accept a compliment. And it really sucks that the comments disapproving of it are the ones from those physically close to me. Bleh

Rules for when you're adopting characters from me 1. Always give credit! And I mean proper credit, not just "o credit 2 original creator" and not misspellings and shortened versions of my usernames. It needs to be one of my full usernames on one of the sites I use most (Weasyl and Linktree for example) and if possible, link back if you can! 2. Do NOT steal. The character needs to be bought before you do anything with it. No buts! You have to buy before using it. I don't want to have to put up with shoplifters thank you very much. ¬.¬ 3. Don't complain about the prices. Art is expensive. Deal with it. 4. No begging or asking stuff for free. This includes asking to lower prices, change the way of payment, giving points instead of actual money. No means no, so don't be a spoilt brat please. 5. Be nice or I'm not giving you my characters. Simple as that. 6. Chances are it might not be first come, first serve. I want my characters to go to loving homes, so if you’re buying the character, please tell me what you’re going to do with it. whoever plans to give the most development to the character will get to buy it 7. I accept payments of all currencies. Well, at least I think so.. ^w^; The prices are listed in great british pounds but don't worry! That doesn't mean you have to pay in pounds ^w^ As long as it's a real currency, you can pay! 8. No collectors allowed. Please don't buy this character just to hoard it into your oc collection.. OCs are not "rare collectables", they are not rare toy collectable action figures that you "gotta collect em all". Please don't buy them if you're only gonna use it just for display reasons only. I don't want to sell a character I worked hard on designing, only to be hoarded into your oc action figure collection. I want all my characters to go to loving homes where they have some sort of role as a character. I just want them to be loved and used, that's all.. :< 9. I have the right to refuse your purchase. Unless it's my own species, if it has a fursuit, custom plush, and other physical items, then there's a chance that it might not be able to be returned due to complications. Feel free to sell it for the same price or cheaper however! But no higher than what you bought it for. That's unless you've given the character alot of art and media since you bought it. But if it still has the same amount of media when you got it, then you need to sell it no higher than how much you bought it for, because that isn't fair on their creator. 15. Do not give or sell my characters to blacklisted users. Blacklisted users are banished from taking part on my sites, games, livestreams, events etc, and are forbidden to receive any future works from me. By giving my works to a blacklisted user, you aswell will also be proven untrustworthy aswell as blocked and blacklisted. By purchasing a character from me, you hereby agree with all rules and promise to follow them. Breaking any of these rules will result in consequences. I work hard on all my creations and put alot of love and effort into making them. Yes that includes art for others! And I hope you enjoy them as much as I did making them :3 You will be asked the magic word which is whammy zammy. Don't forget to include it when you ask to purchase! Hello people!! Sorry I didn't update on the discduo Spider-Man story today, I was doing a discduo drawing of an AU I like a lot from an artist and then I was preparing my page for Art Fight! (DM if you want my link to it if you're also participating!). But!! I'll tell some few fun facts about the AU since I haven't mentioned them yet hehe. INTO THE RAMBLE WE GO!!

"Fun-Facts about the Discduo Spider-Man AU"

1.- The number of dimension that each Spider-person comes from it's based off the birthday of the CC's (day, month, year)

2.- I accidentally made them all have a roommate and to be that roommate to be the one that they lost.

3.- I purposely made all of the Spider-people to have lost their special one by the hands of the villain and they couldn't reach them in time; however, with discduo I made them that they indeed reached their brother, but because of miscalculation, they lost them (this could technically mean that they were the ones to kill their own brother -BUT IT'S NOT THEIR FAULT TO BE CLEAR, THEY JUST MADE A MISTAKE BUT IT'S IN NO WAY THEIR FAULT/lh)

4.- Yes each Spider-Sona has their own design of their costumes according to their personality and what they like (but not too obvious to be able to tell their secret identities). I'm also debating if they would have different art styles depends ending of their dimensions (let me know what you think about that!)

5.- I purposely made that Tommy is the Green Goblin in Niki's dimension because I'm basing that part as when c! Niki hated c! Tommy so much to the point she wanted to kill him and considered him an enemy (and because we deserve some insane Tommy content from time to time lol-in that universe Wilbur is his brother, and he's very much sad about his brother and how he lost his sanity-)

6.-This will be more explored in the story, but basically that part where discduo was having an internal carnaval in their heads because of their spider-sense when they meet each other, it's basically them having a connection between each other, that means (just like what we could see briefly in ATSV) the both of them will be able to sense each other across dimensions, feeling if the other is in danger and how they're basically feeling (I'm basing this off at that scene of Gwen sensing Miles was in the wrong dimension and being in danger, even if she was in another dimension)

AND THAT'S IT FOR NOW!! As we go deeper in the story I'm pretty I'll have more fun facts to tell but for now that's it!! Let me know your thoughts and opinions on this!! I'll probably be busy this month with Art Fight and all my other personal projects I want to make, but I'll make my best to update in this story and make the designs for this AU!! I really love this AU and I want to make proper fanart for it. Anyways have a lovely morning/evening/night :D!!

OKOKOKokokok so like !! My favorite things r normally world-building, world-designing, character plotting and so much more

My current dream is to create a project or two that i can keep up with: think One Punch Man, a manga series that literally started off as something personal and silly that slowly grew in popularity!

I currently have a few projects i would love to talk about! Alot are scrapped, on hold, or still being developed

It Gets Worse: Originally about Gutsy's lore, the comic would basically start by introducing how Gutsy died and became what he was, which was becoming a type of demon in a Limbo world. The entire plot is all about redemption and accepting the fact he cant go back and be better and needs to move on, but along the way he needs to correct wrongs since the world is also sprinkled with people he needs to make up with, such as his brother Killcode. This story was scrapped since it changed alot since atm im unsure if i want Gutsy to have lore. I used to do the " theres OC Gutsy then Sona Gutsy " but if i did that for him i would do that for pretty much everyone i consider a "Sona"

Creation Damnation: A world where it just expanded on characters backstories and profiles pretty much! The few main characters involved would be Gutsy, Rot, and other ocs like Angie, this story is currently scrapped too Un-named Hero World: A world where Endo and a old fursona Cinder would be placed: Loosely inspired off cliche hero shows/manga/anime/cartoons. But with this world very few are born with a power, those born with ones often get sent to a school called CTC ( Champion Training Course, Champions are what the heros are called ) and are trained to use these powers for good. It would ofc have cliche villains and stuff and its kinda on hold since i still need to work on tweaks and theres still a daunting issue ( see all the way down )

Project Cloud Nine: Was a world that involved Sugerhigh, Spiggy, and Wish. Sugerhigh is a cryptic hunter / old magic user, and Wish is the cryptic he is hunting. Spiggy is just a victim in all of this and is dragged along

Black-Water : the newest project im thinking of doing, as of rn the idea is Black-Water takes place in... Well Black Water County, a town that is festering with witch-craft and magic users. It would focus on a few characters, a main one being named Zorra, a social media influencer who left the town but rumors go around of something terrible coming

Currently im wanting to combine most into a story: Black-Water and PCN can mesh together flawlessly because Sugerhigh is connected to Zorra because both were born and raised there

Creation Damnation and It Gets Worse can be combined too since its roughly the same in the sense of how i would project it: Characters going through shit and showing how they change and grow The Hero World is the only one im not too focused on since its mostly a placeholder world for Endo, but i did also draw him, Cinder, Spiggy, Wish, and i believe Sugerhigh in a comic cover for It Gets Worse...

If you couldnt tell, my main issue with projects is i make alot but tend to repeat using characters, which can easily be fixed by scrapping or mixing certain worlds together! Ik for sure It Gets Worse will mostly be re-used title wise, and a current fix i have in mind is that It Gets Worse is the title of the series, while everything else are chapters....

Which.... Honestly i love the idea of that..... Mixing in all the stories that end up clashing into one only separated from different POV's... Huh.....

As a kid I loved drawing, even more than the usual kid! Watching cartoons, playing pretend with my sister, and reading made me want to make my own stories and characters. It wasn’t until I started applying to college that I decided I would do art for a living!

Originally, Fleet’s team were 3  white stallion pegasii  named after cloud types. Stratus, Cumulous, and Cirrus. Generic henchmen. When it was time to introduce them, though, I ended up going all out! Then I fell in love with them! This is how I imagined them to look.

Sky was going to appear on another, abandoned ask blog of mine. His very first design was so ugly, haha, he’s changed a lot! He was actually always meant to have Fleet Folly as a rival! So mad I lost Fleet’s original concept art.

At the start of the year I redesigned my sona to be a bat! So I changed Page Turner to look similar. She’s not exactly a kirin, just a bat unicorn pony thing!

My sona (Mayor)'s new design was decided because I like bats/cats and because I like this shade of blue a lot. Her old design was fine, but was a bit too plain for my tastes, plus I had changed so much since I first designed her!

sm0lcatfish: what was the inspiration behind lost celestia? was she always intended to be a part of the sky warden+fleet folly sorta universe or did that come later?

In 2017 I sketched a drawing that looked kinda like this. I got the idea for a Celestia ask blog called “Tower Princess” where she would have amnesia, break out of a tower, and look wide eyes and emotionless. I didn’t follow through because I didn’t think I could accomplish it. So instead I started Ask Wizard Sunburst c:

Ask King Sombra was also inspiration for me finally starting this blog, as it showed me a story-driven ask blog could both be successful and include OCs in the main cast! As for Sky Warden, I very self indulgently included him so Celestia wouldn't just look around confusedly at everything without any dialogue or exposition. Lastly, Fleet was always a part of Sky's story, but him getting his own blog was an accident driven by me being Way Too Into My Own Characters hahah.

Teashle: Your art is wonderful! It reminds me a lot of moonstuck. And congrats on marriage! Anyways: what are your inspirations?

Thank you! That’s the second time someone has mentioned moonstuck and I’m still not sure what it is! Most of my inspiration is from artists in the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon fandom on DA but I also am inspired by stuff like Avatar: TLA, The Underland Chronicles, Game of Thrones, Teen Titans.... It’s a wide variety of things!

was able to further develop their characters a LOT with this!! Sunny is a very carefree guy, unlike his inspiration (me lol) he’s extroverted cause I thought that fit their dynamic better and made his character match better with the sorta tropes I want them to fit

plus I find that I prefer my “self inserts” as not actually being self inserts but more like, “semi-self inserts” cause more often than not its what fits better for the kinda story I’m trying to tell : like I see a selfinsert as being a caricature of ones self, like your selfinsert acts just as you would if you were placed in x setting, but I would see a “semi self insert” (for lack of better term) as being a character that’s design is a sona but writing wise doesn’t function like a sona, like their core character traits are taken from my own personality, but isnt a direct representation of me, sense I cherry picked the traits and amplified them or adjusted them to make the kinda character I wanted: 

idk I know most people probably still call that a self insert but I tend to like being very specefic with my laungauge as my brain takes things very literally and at face value (plus I only want to give the very special self insert title to a character that feels like a complete self insert to me) 

anyhow SUNNY! he’s a sweetheart and has that classic headstrong shonen protag kinda personality, he wishes he could be a flirt but hes way to much of a simp for that lmao, their sorta a ditz but manages to have a high enough “charisma stat” to survive without a trainer, very much a classic “>:)” kinda ghost type. probably has some kind of internalized toxic masculinity thing going on, he has a hard time with emotionally vulnerability. He feels he can trust Daisy and he also admires how she can be so strong despite being more timid and emotional, so she very muched helped them with expressing himself emotionally. He’s never had a trainer and previously resided in the ghost type trial site (abondoned thrifty megamart) and now scurries around on akala island where he met Daisy. As a shiny he knows he’s of high value to trainers, which is why he doesn’t want to get a trainer, because he would want a trainer to admire him for him and not his shiny status. plus he find it MUCH more entertaining to watch trainers panic over having lost a chance to catch a shiny. He loves listening to Daisy’s stories about her trainer and the trainers she’s met tho, really he just loves listening to Daisy in general. sense me making more content for this is lowkey just all as a shoutout to younger me who would very much love this kind of misfits mimikyus love at first sight friends to lovers sappy romantic kinda story: I VERY much want to make his general character be the kinda character that younger me would adore~ just less angsty and with the “badboy” underdog gig being more performative. Like I need to combine the nick wildes and discords and misunderstood villains with the oopsie bears and spikes and sidekicks. also making em’ queer and autistic af. Not just cause I’m queer and autistic, but cause I think a lot of the characters I adored as a kid was for sure because of gender envy or a subtextual queer and autistic coding kinda thing that resignated with me tho i couldnt yet understand. so I think it’s fitting for that part to be important with the “shout out to younger me’s tastes in fiction” theme: He likes Daisy for her sincerity, calming aura, intelligence, perseverance, and her rebellious streak/ rarer moments of self confidence

DAISY! she’s shy and timid, but stronger than you’d think. She DID have a trainer and lived in the kanto region before being gifted down to her trainers younger sister, who moved to alola with their father, where they got lost from each other, Daisy is under the impression she was abandoned. She’s more of the mysterious ghost girl kinda ghost type but has a small mischievious streak. she’s been on her own before plenty but she’s never really been alone in human inhabited areas, so being trainerless in the shopping center streets of akala is very much a new experience for her. She tends to be reserved and while she would like to assume the best in others she generally assumes others to be “mediorce” at best until proven otherwise (in contrast to Sunny where someone can be a fucking bitch and unless if they were being a bitch about a manga he likes he will forgive them immediately, if it’s the later he deep down deos forgive them but will hold that grudge against them f o r e v e r) keeping up with the shout outs to past me Shes def inspired by like, raven queen, fluttershy, cerise hood, fucking elsa and other characters from my child hood that come up when I try ot think of the vibe I want her to have. also yall can hc her sexuality and gender as whatever you want, sense Sunny’s (trans masc) nonbinary she doesnt just like guys at least. if I give her a canon sexuality it will probably be polysexual or smth: Sunnys already pan cuz I’m pan but Idk if she has bi wife energy or not. While she’s stubborn and headstrong in her own way, (she does battle afterall) she genuinly tries to stay out of trouble. she’s a very gentle person. She struggles with making friends sense shes quieter and she also jsut finds it hard to click with someone conversation flow wise. Sunny likely encourages her to talk more but doesnt force her too, so their conversation flow clicked properly for Daisy. She likes Sunny for his chaotic neutrual vibes, energetic passion, and his softer caring side

Ayato - honestly, the way I imagine ayato and I is mostly in an arranged marriage type thing (I have a differently designed sona for it and everything khsjfsdj). our first 'date' i guess would be considered the boat trip back from watatsumi island (where the wedding took place) and we drank ginger tea and chatted about folklore and mythology <3

Capitano - i've never really thought about it much, but i'd imagine our first date would probably be some sort of nature walk/hike where we just chat whenever the mood strikes us and i point out cool stuff i see while he just nods politely <3

Diavolo - i. also imagine being in an arranged marriage with him in most scenarios, but outside of those scenarios, in an AU in which im just a normal exchange student, i think our first 'date' would be where im infodumping excitedly to someone else (probably lucifer, satan or solomon) about how dia's demon form looks like it might be a dragon and im all fascinated by that and barbatos overhears and relays it to dia, who then invites me to an afternoon tea and tells me im allowed to ask whatever i like <3 though even given that opportunity it Would still turn into me infodumping about dragons

Lucifer - he's a very traditional sort, he's very careful to make sure none of our regular hangouts could be misconstrued as dates until both of us are entirely ready (which id totally misread as him friendzoning me and be sad about). but the first date he makes a reservation at a nice restaurant and works really hard to make it this Whole Memorable Thing but honestly i still consider our first date to be that time he let me pace around his study and infodump about my favourite book series for 40 minutes while he nodded politely and did paperwork.

Ayato - there's a particular set of lines from 'Inventor's Daughter' by Branches that just resonates so hard with the arranged marriage fic/au i have laid out and it makes me SO insane (/pos)

theres something extraordinarily perfect to me about the "A white flag torn from a wedding gown" line, especially considering my sona's whole gender situation in this fic and the fuckery surrounding that. this au/fic holds a very dear place in my heart and honestly i need to keep writing it because i love it so much <3

Capitano - Black Bear (by Black Bear) sort of gives me him vibes, and the kind of wistfulness and envy the singer has towards the bear just. vibes. and also the way i write him. he is literally a black bear. so thats kind of funny

Diavolo - ok i have a few songs that vibe with this ship but there's a specific one that gave me SUCH brainrot recently about an au in which he and i are like hades and persephone and theres just SUCH a vibe and aesthetic surrounding it that makes me INSANE. The song is Epic III from the live version of Hadestown

Lucifer - There's something about 'Never Love an Anchor' by The Crane Wives that really tickles the Lucifer itch in my brain and the angst resonates SO MUCH with him. This section in particular just gives me SO MANY feels and makes me want to write disgustingly depressing angst of the ship ,,



💐- how did you two meet?

Ayato - usually arranged marriage type stuff, but outside of that im like a stray that thoma brings in because were both from mondstadt and he thinks im silly

Capitano - just through whatever fatui shenanigans and the like, my guy is a knight of favonius so id imagine he just got sent out with that group that went out and met capitano and was like. "ok im fascinated by this big guy. seeya"

Diavolo - again, i mostly imagine arranged marriage, though the first time they meet would be Before that, during some like fancy soiree or whatever, i dunno. other than that, just the exchange program

Lucifer - exchange program. i latched onto him like a remora because i could sense his autism from across the room and he just kind of took it



🏠- what's your and your f/os dream home?

Ayato - the estate beloved <3 but also i could see us having a holiday home in liyue, since its where we went for our (very belated) honeymoon and we liked it a lot !!

Diavolo - I think he'd be very emotionally attached to the Demon Lord's Castle but I could also see us getting a sort of smaller, more modern style house closer to the main bulk of the Devildom where we end up spending a lot of our time.

Lucifer - He's very attached to the House of Lamentation and despite all his complaints he and his siblings are pack bonded and if they're separated they'll all die of loneliness and broken hearts (and also his siblings are too dumb to survive more than a few days without him), but I could see us having basically the inverse of Diavolo's in which we get a small place in the human world or something that we can stay in for a few days at a time just to get away from things!
