can we talk about the fact that vox isn’t necessarily always smiling, but he does smile wayyy more than the other characters?? he only ever “frowns” when it’s related to val or alastor and he’s either by himself or with val. i can’t even recall him losing his smile in front of velvette. this makes me think that he’s using the advice alastor gave charlie about using a smile to hide what you’re really thinking from people you don’t trust. alastor doesn’t trust anyone so he’s always smiling, and vox trusts very few people so he’s almost always smiling. this makes me think that alastor taught vox everything he knows, which is part of why vox hates alastor so much; he feels betrayed by his mentor/possible love interest. just a thought.

Okay, theory time:

I'm not the first to theorize that Vaggie is not a sinner but a fallen angel. Not only because of her wings, but it would also answer why she wants to help Charlie with the hotel. Besides just being a good girlfriend

Vaggie wields a spear that she's quite skilled and comfortable using.

Sort of similar to the swords and spears that the exterminator angels use. Vaggie also has an X over her eye like a lot of the exterminator angels do. This could be a reach, but what if Vaggie used to be an exterminator? What if she hated killing sinners and tried to protest against the idea? Perhaps that caused her to lose her seat in Heaven and was sent down to Hell. This could be why she wants to save sinners because she knows how vile the exterminators can be.

Vaggie also told Alastor that she wouldn't let him hurt anyone in the hotel. She's clearly aware of his power, so why make such a claim? Perhaps Vaggie is much stronger than she appears to be. And it's not like Charlie being with a fallen angel is unheard of since her father is a fallen angel. If Vaggie is a fallen angel, does Charlie know this?

Maybe I'm far off here, but this definitely would be interesting and impactful to Vaggie's character.

Well, recently a lot of pride month merch was released, and one outfit in particular caught my attention. Niffty's.

That fluff around her neck looks very familiar. I think she found a use for Val's fluff-thing.

Anyone want to talk about Al’s smile almost breaking for a frame?? A core value of his is that failing to hide your emotions is a huge show of weakness, that would mean he hates Luci more than any other character we’ve seen him interact with

Now that hazbin hotel finished, I have some guess list thing for season two:

-Lucifer goes to live whith Charlie at the hotel (pretty obvious for the apple building zone)

-Baxter replacing Sir Pentious (he made two cameos and acording to unconfirmed rumours he was about to ocupate Sir Pentious rol if him would not have been so popular in the pilot)

-Episode about Angel Dust's familly on hell

-Backstory of why the hell Alastor and Lilith disappeared for 7 years

-Lilith owning Alastor soul (Theorys makes this looks so real lol. Specialy if we consider that the time both disappeared it's the same)

-Lilith visiting the hotel like nothing happened, for "visiting Charlie". Lucifer and Alastor being so nervous about it for some kind of awfull backstory

-Alastor being afected by the wound Adam made to him (he's in pain or something like in that fan animatic everyone knows of him discussing whith Lucifer about not mess whith the hotel decoration)

-Alastor asking Charlie for the favor she owns to him, being this be free from his contract whith Lilith (the episode would develop in a comical way, may serious at the end) this would be interesting to watch because Alastor confessing Charlie that his soul belongs to her mother (or someone else)... It could be a very personal and awkward thing for him to reveal (just look at how angry he acted at Husk for him mentioning the thing) but Charlie is very easy to manipulate so let's see how the deer boy would do it whithout loosing all his cool and creepy acting

And that would be all my guesses. Write your opinions if you reached this point :)

The possibility Eve was infected by the apple and is slowly being transformed into Roo aka the Root of all Evil is very tragic if Lilith and Lucifer were genuine about wanting to give humanity free will.

For Lucifer, we can safely say he probably meant well when he offered Eve the apple and didn’t consider any long term consequences.

Lilith is more ambiguous. My theory remains Rosie is Lilith. Lilith in Heaven is Eve. They’re on the same side, but I suspect Eve has an agenda separate from Lilith’s. That’s because the apple is directly corrupting her. It’s a slow ride too.

When you think about it, Eve has every right to be angry. Lilith and Lucifer were punished, but Eve suffered. Afaik Eve was stuck with Adam, who is a misogynistic jerk and the following:

Cain and Abel are born.

Cain kills Abel.

Cain is kicked out of the family and wanders to establish his own family and eventually dies.

Seth is born to replace Abel.

Eve continues to have numerous children so the various family lines can exist.

She is stuck with Adam and is primarily blamed for dooming humanity.

Let’s assume the list above contributes to the “curse” unleashed upon her due to eating the apple.

If Roo is the tree itself, then the apple is a seed to spread infection. All those events could just exacerbate the poison.

At some point, she snaps and decides to go feral on the universe. I think it’d be even cooler if Cain or Abel or both ended up being Lucifer’s kid, conceived in Eden and with Lilith participating.

Just imagine your bf and gf wanted to help you escape an unhappy marriage and they ended up poisoning you as a result. Furthermore, the consequences of said events lead to the premature death of your younger son by your older son, who is later banished and separated from the family.

Aside from the family drama of biblical proportions and Charlie’s development, if she’s got a few half-siblings around, Eve would have every right to burn to the ground. She really got screwed over.

Hell isn’t arguably better. But Lilith and Lucifer are at the top of the food-chain. Lilith exhibited such autonomy and authority in her realm Eve obviously envied.

i mean obviouly the pink chains could be like that because of angel's color palette... but what about husk?

his is green. so what's the green for?? alastor is literally a strawberry so that would make no sense.. what if it was from zestial?? wyat if zestial is the reason alastor is so powerful??

could the colors of the chains actually mean something??

I’ve never seen anyone mention that but when we see Zestial for the first time and he walks with Alastor in episode 3 he mentions rumors of Al « falling to holy arms ». And when he does Alastor looks back (kind of towards the « camera ») and then laughs it off by saying he just took some well deserved rest.

I love the theory saying that Al has a contract with Lilith, wouldn’t that kind of strengthen it ? He could be referring to something else that I don’t remember or didn’t catch buuut it made me tick.

Hazbin Hotel Alastor arc theories, SPOILERS

Hoooooolllllyyy FUCK is he desperate to regain his freedom!!! I’m sure he thought Charlie’s favor could help him break his deal—and I’m sure he’ll try it—but with Charlie’s character arc and how much she trust Al I think she couldn’t bear his suffering and would break his deal (with Lilith? Or Eve?) because she feels it’s wrong without the favor.

Only for Alastor to turn around and cash in that favor to build up his own power, betraying her and breaking her heart.

Her agony wouldn’t be the turning point in Al’s arc yet, but it would be soon—whether because he forced Husk and Niffty with him or left them behind—he would regret his treatment of Charlie and for the first time would help her when she truly needed it of his own free will, not because of the terms of the deal.

Very tired theory time

No, I don't have evidence here, I'm literally grasping at some loose carpet threads here, and tying them together.

So, we know Alastor has been gone for 7 years, and so has Lilith. It's said that Lilith ruled over Hell with her 'song,' and we know Alastor was out overthrowing big names/Overlords before he disappeared.

Do... Do y'all think that Alastor tried to like... Overtake Lilith... And it ended poorly for both of them? So in return the 'leash' Alastor's on, is Lilith's basically as penance for his failed attempt?

Or has Alastor always been one of Lilith's contracts? Does their shared disappearance have something to do with said contract?

Does Lucifer know? Is that why he looked borderline gleeful when he got under Alastor's skin?

[unhinged Hazbin theory 4: After the mess in hell, Lilith evacuates her daughter to heaven. Charlie does not want to stay, so Lute guards her at all times. Against her will and to her own shock, Lute develops romantic feelings for the princess of hell.]

So I need to rant really quick. I've seen this theory that Lucifer will be killed in the second season. It started with a fake leak, and now people have this weird idea that Lucifer can be killed? By who? Vox? Lute?

Lucifer beat the shit out of Adam without breaking a sweat. Alastor got nearly killed by Adam, and he's known as the most powerful sinner in Hell. So that means Lucifer is the most powerful being in Hell. Who's gonna kill him? Sera? Doubtful. Besides, a show can be emotional and heartbreaking without killing off a character. Remember Masquerade? So yeah, if Lucifer is killed, I will consider it terrible writing because I really think the writers can do way better.

But, so, we know in season 2, someone important will die. We have also seen a clip of Charlie, looking sad in front of a room that is Angel Dust's. Now, everyone is thinking Angel Dust is going to die. Nope. That doesn't seem right, when that would be too major of a spoiler or leak.

So, maybe, it's someone Angel Dust is close too. He's sad, because they are gone, and he was close to them. And Charlie's outside of his room, because Angel Dust hasn't left his room in a bit.

I think Husk might be in danger
