I think this lovable asshole is surprisingly a good bf.

He may be a little harsh and mean towards you in the beginning and that's probably since he's always been alone and haven't had anyone to lean on.

But he will slowly warm up to you and be less harsh and mean but instead he's gonna tease the living hell out of you.

He would definitely keep your relationship a secret since he doesn't want you to be targeted by other awakeners that are his enemies.

But there are a few exceptions for example Jiwoo and Kartein. (but Kartein found out by himself after seeing how you two act when your together)

The most affection he will show you when there are people are around is probably holding each other's pinkies or he has his arm around your waist or shoulders.

But when your alone and for example cooking he's hugging you from behind and has his chin on your shoulder while making small comments on what your doing. If your sitting on the couch he either as a arm around you while you sit in his lap or a arm around your shoulders if your leaning into his side.

He's big spoon no exceptions (might make a exception and be small spoon if he's exhausted or if you have gotten hurt by someone when he was not around)

Kartein

This fine man is a good bf for sure.

He definitely likes to buy you things it doesn't have to be anything big but maybe a necklace you have seen and wanted or something he saw and it reminded him of you.

He's not extremely affectionate but he won't complain if you want to cuddle or wanna hold hands.

He LOVES to gossip about people(kayden) he hates and boast about himself with you.

If you have hurt yourself no matter if it's small or big he will always heal you and if it was done by a awakener be ready for that person to go missing.

And like Kayden he will keep your relationship a secret for both of your safety especially yours.

one of harper's best friends in the entire world is jiwoo, one of @celestialshearts' muses. did harper initially have a little crush on him while they were trainees together? definitely, but that passed years ago and now he's just content to be jiwoo's best friend. he travels abroad with jiwoo often, and nights with ezra and jaden usually include jiwoo. harper adores him! that's his best friend and he doesn't know what he'd do without him.

harper's first birthday with his parents was ... anxiety inducing. he didn't know what to expect, if they'd remember or care at all, if they'd plan something or see him as selfish if he asked about doing something or ungrateful if he didn't expect it ... he thought himself into a black hole, but in the end? they made him breakfast and got him a few gifts (a journal. some clothes, and an ipod, which was a big deal at the time), and took him out for the day. they did also get him a cake, and it was nice. they kept it simple so he wouldn't be overwhelmed, but even now, harper day is a big deal in the yi family.

his parents' home is still one of his favorite places. his childhood room is just as it was the day he moved out, with old toys, books, and clothes everywhere and his old kpop posters all over the walls (they're, ironically, mostly posters of sunnie). when he visits his parents, it's like becoming a teenager again, and it's actually not as bad of a thing as you might think. honestly, he goes back home a lot when he's stressed, comforted by the smell of his mom's favorite vanilla candles and the old arm chairs his dad refuses to get rid of, even though they look so tacky now.

aside from dancing and singing, which take up most of his time, harper also likes to crochet! it helps when he needs to be busy with his hands, and he likes getting to make things for his friends — usually sweaters, blankets, or little creatures. he also likes to reform clothes, and has a lot of old clothes he's repurposed for better things. just wait til he finally commits to filling up his favorite jean jacket with patches and paints on it.

harper yi is, as most people will tell you, incredibly hard to upset. even when he is upset, he'll keep it to himself. the fastest way to get him visibly upset with you is to lie to him. he doesn't cry or get mad, just ... cold. indifferent. it's unsettling and not at all like him, and people hate it because harper is too warm and too forgiving, and he completely shuts down upon discovering a lie.

they have a tendency to overexaggerate their own happiness for the sake of others, but harper does actually find joy in a lot of small things. a new houseplant, their coffee being made just right, the convenience store down the street having their favorite pack of ramen in stock ... the little moments make him so happy. sometimes, a great end to his day is sitting on his balcony eating some cheap ramen and listening to his favorite music. does he at times conflate happiness with contentment? maybe. but they're not so different, are they?

harper is ... jumpy. when it comes to fight or flight, some very special circumstances aside, he tends to lean more towards fleeing. he's scared of a lot; spiders, strange noises in the dark, horror movies, etc. but nothing will ever top the fear he feels when it comes to being himself. that said, he's absolutely the type of person to forget his own fears if it means helping his friends out.

Reading on webtoon is for me.... Complicated let's say. I was catching up with Eleceed after I left it to gain more official chapters and not the poor people's blessing of a translation the point is.

How do you fuc up in culture and language so bad, first of all the problem of the first hundred chapters of the siblings Yoo in what sane mind a younger ASIAN child would call the older sibling by name, also with how picky Korea is with age titles calling the name of a person older and in power is no no like come on.

Even if you don't want to use the romanization of the words you can go on and translate them, even if they are not really commonly used in english culture don't you have the words for mister, brother, sister, miss but then so how do you explain the shit ass translation on freaking webtoon

I saw full on typos in different chapters (extra letters, words badly written) after the 'hyung' introduction even more inconsistency with the tittles or manners to reference other people i seen Jiwoo call Jiyoung by her name and by 'nuna' which is the equivalent of older sister from a younger brother, but then her actual blood brother call her sis or in the earlyish chapter by her name

And even if he does call amyeong 'hyung' the dialogues are translated so as much he doesn't use that word even if by the original version he uses the world in an appropriate manner of conversation, example a question like "are you ok, hyung?" is reduced to "are you ok?" Sure it doesn't affect the story but is a little.... How do I say, strange consider the kind of speech some characters use

So, it's been some time since I last wrote something for Eleceed so here I am again on my bs after catching up on the chapters.

After Amyeong and Royst appearance, the thought of an ABO au with omega Kayden has once again forced itself at the forefront of my thoughts. I've talked about some of my hcs in these posts under the tag #eleceed abo 'verse.

I'm gonna put a everything else under the cut as a spoiler warning in case you're not familiar with those names!

Aaanyways, so it's been stated that a lot of people wanted to be Kayden's disciple ever since his name made waves. Jisuk mentions how having a electric characteristic even became a fad among the awakened ones in order to imitate Kayden. So far, we only have Amyeong and Royst that actually sought out Kayden and asked to be his disciple. And both of them got rejected.

But like I said, this is an ABO 'verse.

So, imagine if they're not only attracted to Kayden's strength but they're actually pretty much half in love with him. Amyeong and Royst had both wanted to be his disciple, but had also dreamt of bonding with Kayden. And Kayden both broke their hearts.

They didn't really care what his designation was. And it was only by accident that they even found out he was an omega.

He had been at least gentle (in Kayden's own way) in his rejection of Amyeong. He had been thankful that he got to stay by Kayden's side for some time. Even if his status as his disciple was one-sided.

It hadn't been the same with Royst. Not when Kayden had told him to get lost. And Royst had carried that rejection ever since.

Amyeong

Amyeong's first meeting with Jiwoo hadn't been pleasant. He was jealous. No matter what front he put up, it leaked through his defenses. What did Jiwoo possess that he didn't? What made him different that Kayden had broken his own self-imposed rule of not taking a disciple? He had expected someone intimidating. Someone that could rival Kayden's own presence. Maybe he even expected an omega as strong-headed as Kayden. But no, it's an Alpha. A baby Alpha, in fact. Barely out of maturity you could still scent the traces of pup on him. He was so kind and sweet it made Amyeong's teeth hurt. He can't fucking believe this.

Except Jiwoo was completely covered in Kayden's scent. A pack scent. A claiming Amyeong had never had the pleasure of knowing. Until now. It made Amyeong angrier. He loathed this child for having something, taking something he'd always wanted: Kayden.

Still, he couldn't bring himself to kill him. Not when he begins to understand why Kayden chose this kid. He has to admit defeat there.

He also reminds him of someone else. Someone he owes a debt towards.

It takes him some time to realize why that is. A familiar scent, so faint, you could barely detect it even when you try looking for it.

He can't begin to understand how that feels, for a parental bond to be so faded. It must have been painful for both of them.

He wonders if that had been a factor to why Kayden had pack bonded the kid.

Royst

Royst, on the other hand, had been dying to meet Jiwoo.

The moment his master told him about Kayden taking in a disciple. Royst had to restrain himself from running there that very instant.

Then, that Grayne kid came crawling back to their base with his tail between his legs, bleeding and smelling of frustration and anger.

Royst was intrigued. So, goes to the World Academy.

He feels his nose twitch when he catches a whiff of Kayden's dangerous, intoxicating scent. It's been years since he'd last been this close to the man. He's still beautiful. His gaze sharp enough to cut steel, Royst has to rein in his instincts not to pounce.

Especially when he catches another scent clinging onto the man. He keeps the snarl at bay. An Alpha. Two of them, in fact. One mature, while the other was still growing into its own skin.

He tries to keep his composure as he follows Kayden.

And then the scents grow stronger as they get close to their destination.

One of the scents belong to Jiwoo. Understandable, as proximity could do that. But it does not explain the undercurrent of pack. It's a claiming no one has been able to put on Kayden.

It's even more astounding that the bond is mutual. Kayden and his disciple where pack. This baby Alpha was Kayden's pup. Royst feels something in him stir.

He wants to ruin this boy. He wants to spill his blood and watch Kayden as he guts this—his—puppy in front of him.

The jealousy burns. The envy nearly all-consuming. This pup had gotten what Royst had been coveting for years.

The other unfamiliar Alpha was here too. But there was no one around Royst can pin it too. He shouldn't have taken his eyes away from Kayden. No other Alpha should be that close to him. No other Alpha should lay claim to him.

When Amyeong had appeared, he had thought this mutt had been the one drenching Kayden in his repugnant pheromones. But no, he was familiar with Amyeong. Even concealed, he could tell this claim was not his.

In the end, Royst doesn't learn who it is. He just knows that it's also clinging to Jiwoo and that malnourished cat that was hanging around them.

Royst had made it his goal to find out who the Alpha was and show them who exactly Kayden belongs to.

Chaewon huffing as Jiwoo snuggles against her. The sight was surely as ridiculous as sounded. The older woman was taller than her, but here she was clinging like a baby panda, and even if she complained she would pull those puppy eyes out.

"I'm surprised you're not trying to push me away." It was unfair really, because Jiwoo was pretty and great at cuddling. But sometimes, she just talks too much.

"It wouldn't stop you anyway." Chaewon wanted to roll her eyes at the whine, but instead went right back to watching the dumb documentary she was interested in at the moment.

Jiwoo didn't have to say anything, but Chaewon could feel her excitement and happiness leaking from her body. It wasn't everyday that Chaewon let Jiwoo of all people be clingy for this long.

Sooyoung finds it funny how all her friends makes assumptions about her relationship with Jiwoo.

That Jiwoo is too clingy, that she's too loud, too much energy, too childish, etc.

Truly sad.

They would go crazy knowing that Jiwoo is clingy because she likes it, that she's to loud because she gets excited easily, she isn't childish she just isn't an angry 20y old girl like the rest of them are.

Honestly, of the two of them Sooyoung feel like the clingy one, the childish one... thought never the loud one...unless we are talking about other thing...

She just like how Jiwoo is always there, how her hands are so warm and soft, how firm and strong her grip is, how she's always full of energy making Sooyoung to never feel tired, the way she loves the most tiny thing because it gives her a good time.

Yeah, those assumptions are funny, specially because she's happy when they are not.
