Isn't Wukong celibate? The specific following of celibacy that means that he, by virtue of his religion, can't get married or have relationships? I remember specifically that Baije had to leave behind his wife when starting the journey, and all of his attempts to pick up someone after were expressed by the other pilgrims to not be allowed. In this blog I have an AU where Wukong starts to develop romantic feelings for human named Sophie, who was yeeted in JTTW world by Guan Yin and Buddha from our world in hopes that the monkey would learn morals and understanding a gentle side of life. Tripitaka seems to have difficulties to keep Wukong in control so the gods thought that maybe a feminine touch would help and Sophie seems to check the qualities for what Buddha is seeking. Little did the gods (expect Buddha and Guan Yin) expecting that Sophie and Wukong would end up having romantic feelings.

So now for the answer you were seeking, anon. In my AU Wukong in the end of the journey refuses Buddhahood in order to have a chance to marry Sophie in the future. He was mentally prepared to stay as friends sense although they had feelings for each other, their relationship was not on that point to become official. Also Sophie wanted to go back to her world to hunk about staying WITH Wukong at Flower Fruit Mountain. Mind you they never did anything spicy in the journey but attraction on Wukongs end happened sooner compared to Sophies. So their relationship was slow build from friends to lovers in my whole timeline in this AU.

In my AU I want to explore Wukong being more egoistic, a bit of selfish and demanding. Hell even a bit of narcissistic bc he thinks he is the best. He choses violence easily and intimination. He is a King after all. But inside he has a good heart, but he has hard time showing it. He cares about the gang a lot and his people and he will grow through the journey (at some level).

Nathaniel is a unique case because he doesn't necessarily want a lover, he wants family. He is extremely sentimental and he craves what he lost, what was taken away from him while he was away and had no hand in. So after he's met you and mellowed out he realizes how much you mean to him and the love in his chest swirls and pools making him feel so true. It's better than anything in the world and he will stop at nothing to keep it. He doesn't want to lose it.

When he's around everyone will feel how relaxed he is and the affection pouring out of him. And as much as they have their own opinions about it they more or less don't care.

He is extremely sentimental so anything you give him will be loved and cherished for as long as it exist. The flowers will be dried and pressed. Any weapon will be kept in the best condition it could ever dream of. Every kiss on the cheek will be felt for weeks. Anything or anyone who makes any action that tarnishes it in any way they will pay for it.

He wants you in his life so he will make it as difficult as possible for you to stray from him. He's always ready to be at your side and tells you about his life while asking about yours, never failing to comment on how strong you are for fighting. It's so far from when you met him but it just looks like character development. No one knows what he's done in the shadows. That villager who spat at you didn't just get sick, if you catch my drift.

The violence he commits he does no in your name. It's selfish and he would have it no other way. This is his decision and he will take the burden. However, the burden is just having a problem out of the way and you happy and healthy. As long as you're smiling he doesn't have a reason to stop.

Touching. So much touching. It's not forced, or even conscious, he just hugs you a lot or leans with you. He's no stranger to kiss you either, whether or not you're a lover. It's expected after awhile for you to sit with him as close as humanly possible.

And at the end of the day you will never wonder if he loves you. The admiration he has pours out of his mouth straight from his stomach to shower you with endless praise. It's not every other word but the air around him is laced.

HEYYY!!! I sent a fairy!player ask earlier and how it might work with botw2, but upon reading the title "Tears of the Kingdom" I have something even better.

So I'm thinking, people have been theorizing that Zelda dies during TotK, that's why she wasn't shown despite Link saving her at the end of BotW. Since at this point, player is well known throughout the centuries by guiding the legendary hero to defeat Ganon. I don't think society as a whole would take too kindly to hearing that they died (was hylia punishing them for failing her, was Ganon going to be freed once more, what if link is unable to save Hyrule without the guide)

Wild and player up and disappear just like last time, much to the dismay of Hyrule. Only this time, instead of coming back with scars into the embrace of the people they call family, player doesn't come back at all. I don't think Wild would even come back if I'm honest, too ashamed of getting their guide killed (in his eyes) to even face the rest of his brothers. Maybe the chain would have to see for themselves, forcing wild to confront his failures, only this time he remembers it crystal clear.

Imagine Hyrule, knowing who player was, having to be told that the one person that was there for him when no one else was died, he'd try to kill wild. Whether it was by the fault of dink or Ganon, wild is the only one who he can touch immediately. Ultimately, he doesn't succeed, but I don't think their relationship would bounce back immediately. Anything Hyrule has that was originally player's he keeps. Maybe it's a hoodie that still smells like them, a bracelet that he never takes off, or their cape that he wears no matter the impracticality.

If they did remember, While I don't think the reaction would be as extreme (or maybe they would judging sunset's contents). I do feel like there would be a cloud of dread surrounding the links, mix between 'their one shared guide is gone what do we do?' and 'one of our brethren just died how do I cope??'. In true link fashion, I don't think anyone would talk about it, esp not with Wild there in case he feels bad (which would make him feel worse). Eventually though they would sorta have to, tension was noticeable and one can only travel so long with a burden so heavy. Maybe they share memories. Maybe some cry. It hurts. But at least they have each other to lean on in harsh times.

I'm particularly interested in legend's, Wild's, and twilight's reaction.

Well established that legend and player probably spent the most time together, on and off. How would he take the death of his longest friend? Especially considering what happened in Koholint (and how player was the one other person that even knew of it's existence)?

Hyrule's reaction, I've got to agree with. Wild is his best friend, his brother- but he just lost one of the most important people to him (not his fault of course) and now Hyrule wants blood. Wild probably took some of the hits before the others were tearing Hyrule off him in an effort to calm him down. It doesn't work and now Hyrule refuses to even acknowledge Wild's presence at all.

The impressions from everyone else would be a gander, depending by this time if anyone else had remembered or not, but also the idea they start to remember after Player dies is also a heartbreaking one, someone they had longed for, dead and gone in the span of a moment.

Since Eddie is refusing to cooperate writing wise (he's angsty and thinks he isn't good enough, so sue him), I figured I'd type up some head canons that have been floating around in my brain since I'm on the latest chapter of the IT audio book and it's from Eddie's perspective. Some of these I've already said before, but since this blog is new and I lost all the HC's on my old one, they might be new to you. Who knows. Also some are not so much head canons as much as highlighting things in the book that people forget about Eddie.

Eddie loves cars. One of the first scenes from his perspective in the novel is him watching a bunch of cars passing by on the box cars on the railroad and him wishing he could have one of those one day. He's absolutely the type to splurge on a fancy car, and that's also why he drives for a living. I know people hc him as a bad driver because of the opening scene in Chapter 2, but I feel like that was just because Mike calling him left him so caught off guard. Aggressive, sure, but still a good driver. You almost HAVE to be to live in New York.

The first love of Eddie's live was Bill (sorry to my Reddie loves, especially as I hardcore stan Reddie). It's just like so apparent in the novel that you can't deny it. There's literally a line where Eddie says he remembers he would die for Bill if Bill asked him to, he would just say when and where. He talks about how much he remembers loving Bill (and later adds it was like an older brother or a father but stfu Stephen King that shit was gay). He seems to be the only Loser that can look at Bill and know what he was thinking without Bill having to say a word. It's true love, y'all.

They mention that there's some sort of room (I forget the exact word they used, I'd never heard of it) above Eddie's garage where Richie and Eddie would spend hours just laughing and reading comics. (Eddie's favorite superhero is Spiderman). I definitely imagine that this is where they shared their first kiss if they kissed as teenagers. Either that or the hammock, but. Still. Cute.

There's some sort of hc I want to write about the fact that apparently like all the Losers would sit around and smoke cigarettes while Eddie would just watch them. I always forget that Bill smoked, too, especially since in the new films it really only shows Beverly. I don't know what I want to write about it, but SOMETHING is there. It stuck out to me.

This is one that @scribedhorror and I have already discussed several times, but Eddie is the only one that can call his best friend 'Billy.' It reminds him too much of Georgie. But Eddie calls him that several times in the book, and I imagine it's because Bill feels that sort of fondness towards Eddie that he did towards his brother, seeing as Eddie is the youngest Loser. And smallest. And most vulnerable.

A hc I have said before, but Eddie hates hospitals. He spent so much time there growing up that he spent most of his time learning how to tend to his own wounds so his mom would (hopefully) not even notice. He definitely had a panic attack waking up from his 'coma' (I say coma bc if you know me, Eddie full out died, and the magic of Maturin upon defeating Pennywise brought Eddie back, but he was definitely dead) and knowing that he was in the hospital all alone.

Old hc, but Eddie also had to use a wheelchair for quite a few months after this and go to physical therapy. No way does someone get stabbed through the chest like that and damage most likely his spine and be able to walk all easy peasy again.

Just made this one up based on the miniseries ending, but I imagine that Eddie will sometimes take small acting roles for money alongside Richie when Richie gets cast in films. He doesn't go by Edward Kaspbrak in the credits because he doesn't want anyone to find him (specifically Myra), but I haven't decided yet what his name would be. Either way, he definitely has a few small cameos and is actually fairly decent, but he would never do it full time.

OKAY. This question comes at a very interesting time for Ambrosia. I will say that the response under the cut is going to contain spoilers for act three dark urge things.

the spoiler free answer: Ambrosia believes in the power of making decisions for yourself. Anyone can change. Someone might need a nudge in the right direction, but she believes everyone has good in them that can be brought forth under the right circumstances.

I realize this question has a lot of parts, however I'm going to mostly be focusing on Ambrosia's beliefs regarding faith and ideals, as it's central to her storyline.

Get to know the OCs.

Ambrosia is a cleric of Tyr. But it wasn't exactly a choice she made, she woke up on the Nautiloid with a holy symbol of Tyr in her possession. Given that she had no memories, not even her name, she assumed it was hers and began to act as if she was a cleric of Tyr. (It was not, it was Bhaal giving her powers in hopes of luring her back to the temple, but she didn't know that at the time.)

Thing is though, while she believed in good, Tyr never fit quite right. But clearly that's who she was, she had the holy symbol after all, right? When she visited the Stormshore Tabernacle, though, and knelt before the statue of Tyr... I think it really hit her. No, she was not a cleric of Tyr. She could feel the divide, and while Tyr recognized the good she was trying to do.... He was not the source of her magic.

Before she had time to process all of that, they went to the Murder Tribunal. Ambrosia watched all of her friends die at the hands of Sarevok (which I'm still SHOCKED that he didn't try to kill her, even though she was constantly up in his face?? Would love to know what the combat AI was thinking bc holy shit) and then they had to rest. She barely had time to process everything that had happened before heading to the temple of Bhaal the next morning.

And then the full truth came to light. And then she killed Orin. And then... Bhaal spoke directly to her. She rejected him. She died for it.

Ambrosia woke in disbelief. And feeling very... not hopeless. Directionless, I guess. She lost her faith in Tyr, it became clear her magic was coming from Bhaal anyways, and here Withers was resurrecting her from what should have been permanent death.

So now Ambrosia doesn't quite know what to believe in, to be honest. She's kinda... lost faith in all the gods, given her circumstances. She thinks Withers might be a god, but she doesn't want to tie herself to one god ever again, especially since she doesn't know his true motives or what he stands for. She's very grateful that he gave her a second chance, of course, but she knows she'll never be able to repay him for that. She's done being the gods' puppet, though. She's ready to make her own way.

Ambrosia's starting to believe in herself, though. She's spent so long doubting who she is and what she stands for, ever since waking up on the Nautiloid. She recognizes she had to give up a lot to get here, and she still might die, but she wouldn't change a thing about how it happened. She is a better person now, and she hopes to spread that light to others, to help them become the best person they can be. Everyone has good in them, it's just about helping them to get there.

For Lorne its definitely Tarragon. The flowers are very distinct? And the meaning stated by the almanac is "Lasting interest". I think its perfect for them.

Lorne would say they aren't type to let themself get lost in the moment- very few places can make them pause their steps. A few places that strike up memories, however... A canyon that stretches out, echoing with each footstep. A cramped valley of trees, the hint of a bloodstain. Lorne tends towards nostalgia.

Lorne has a strong resiliance- they can get up from things that would kill most of their peers. Its one of the reasons minor gods of their level avoid pushing Lorne's boundaries 1 on 1- they realize they'll be the ones more likely to fall in a battle of attrition.

No. Era doesn't believe in true love either, and before Lorne pushed themself into his life, he hasn't even felt familial love before. Concepts that are based around "emotion" rather than "logic" or "manipulation" tend to baffle him. It easily overwhelms him.

If there was a human that could rival gods, its Era. Though physically this resilience varies between incarnations. (That doesn't mean his mental resilience is up to par though. Still, he is sane for a much longer time than the elders expected.) He is mortal, after all.

There was an event I haven't fully fleshed out yet that takes place right before Gene and Lorne are assigned to figure out what is going on with Era's cult. It ends up being the reason he's assigned to the mission and why he isn't as diligent in keeping Lorne and their ambitions in line at First Contact with Era. Idk if this is gonna be a loss he's had or what. Maybe 'family' related.

Gene is a wimp when it comes to just himself but he's the kind of shounen protagonist that gets up again even if he's cursing himself if he's protecting someone.

None of these three are picky with what they eat. Yuri and Zero eat out of necessity, and Xena isn't a picky eater.

Xena is about as annoying as you can get with things she loves and hates. She's not afraid to make her stance known on things and be in yoir face about it.

Yuri is very neutral on things he enjoys, but cracks down heavily on banning stuff he hates (Zero).

Zero is very passionate about things he loves, and more subdued about things he hates.

Xena will always claim the swings.

Xena's is the loss of her husband and child to the Loop and then seeing her former husband again a few loops later (a fee hundred years) 👍 and having to act like she's never met him before...

Zero's is Also That. Because he's the husband but because of how his Rule works he also remembers everything and is fighting to get back to Ground Zero. But he also assumes that she has no memory of him.

Yuri's is when he lost his wife to an event that was "foretold and destined", thus creating his obssession with destiny and how to subvert it.

Xena and Yuri both have physiques where as long as they are not killed immediately, they can shrug off almost anything. This includes brain damage (and has been proven on at least one occasion in Xena's case). Yuri himself has sensation manipulation, thus can tune out pain when he has to. Xena has been known to still skip around like normal after being mutilated, fully aware of the pain.

Singularity/Zero is along the 'very resilient' side as well, but acts like he isn't to lower other's vigilance. As long as his opponent isn't Yuri 💀 then he drops the pitiful mask and gets serious.

🌱 [SEEDLING] What new passions/hates is your OC discovering?

Xena is discovering she's really passionate about hating how destiny works 👍 Too bad she's stuck here.

Yuri doesn't really have anything new besides his annoyance towards Zero

Zero is really figuring out that he loves teasing the siblings.

They are all in the 'know'. They personally know some gods and have seen or been part of myths whispered throughout the galaxy. Zero's personally in the middle of making a legend that will definitely be passed down the ages.

Chris lore/tidbits I can think off of the top of my head rn, bc he's my one and truly baby 💜

I don't have an exact date I created him (or beta version of him lol) but it was sometime in 2015 iirc! I haven't started to really post/draw him (especially here) since 2018

Before he was Chris/Christian he was just, a random dude lol w no backstory or anything really, other than "slutty punk"

I first made him in sr4 and I honestly lost that original file (the first version of him and newer/current version too) bc my 360 just doesn't wanna play sr4 for some reason no matter how much I try lol

I think I developed him around 2016/17 and I gave him the name Christian. I actually have reasons for the name bc I actually loved that name for a guy so much plus it's a funny irony to him bc he's agnostic. An agnostic Christian.

His birthday (not the creation date) is sr1's release/anniversary date! August 29th (1982) the reason for this is bc it was a place holder, but I got lazy to change it after but I think it's really nice :-)

He's originally from the Row and grew up there, he literally knows the area so well as he loved to get out of the house and just walk around, he'd usually come home around midnight or he'd stay w his at the time boyfriend Lee (when they were teens)

Chris never met Saints members previously in the Row (he could possibly cross paths, but he was pretty much to himself back then)

Before the Saint he was just in a small gang w his friends, gang didn't last long as one friend died, one left for the Canales and another left to go to Chicago

Chris was originally gonna go w that friend to Chicago too, but he decided to stay in Stilwater in the end. A few years later he gets pulled into the Saints (plus he's technically a run away before all this)

I think by the time he's in the Saints he's 24 actually w the correct math lmao but I originally had him like 19/20 before

Chris is always loyal to the depths of hell for the Saints, and he's always true to his word that he'd die for them or take a bullet for a Saint (which has happened lol) he was even extremely loyal to Julius once upon a time

Chris had a one sided love/crush of Lin during the Rollerz arc 🥴 ofc he never admitted his feelings (he rarely was much for convos) so Lin's death hurt a lot, especially since he really loved her as a friend and a Saint.

Carlos and Aisha's death hit hard too. Leaving him w loads of survivors guilt from most of these deaths and just guilt in general bc he's the boss, he's the leader.

Back to Carlos tho, they were close, as a big bro lil bro type deal, so he was a bit more protective and had this extra responsibility for him. So when Carlos gets killed bc of his actions that really hit him the hardest, the point where he felt numb but w raw anger and revenge after. Bringing up Lin and Carlos is very dangerous to do and Saints learned not to bring up their names in front of him.

Aisha was close to him as well, she, Johnny and him were the Rows trio of best friends back in the day. Aisha was also so sweet to him while he struggled to adjust back to 2011 Stilwater,he stayed at their place for a short while (before getting the gang up and running again) just to readjust and get settled/back on track w shit. He still has a neckless she gave him for his birthday/him returning again, it's locked away w his special items/treasures.

Alright besides death, he has one and only car since sr1 which is his bootlegger. Black paint w the white stripe down the middle, all purple inside. His true baby, even if he's not a car person lol hotwired a random car he saw parked in the Row and it's been his ever since

He loves cooking and an absolutely great cook! If he wasn't in gangs he'd probably opened a restaurant or something lmao sometimes he cooks for Johnny and him but most times he's lazy to cook so he orders in lol

The places Chris says at the most at is Purgatory, the penthouse in sr2 and penthouse in sr3

He has 4 dogs and 2 cats lmao but honestly the dogs are his, the cats are mainly Johnny's. Dogs: Queenie (bull terrier), Prince (pit bull), Goober (German shepherd) and Gumby (greyhound); Cats: Machete (black/white) and Stanley the meatball (Siamese)

Chris and Johnny get married post sr3 in this timeline/universe! :)

Chris also has two (adopted) daughters also a younger brother. He also has both parents in his life, relationships were rough over the years but he tries his best to connect w them, especially his mom (he loves both of them)

hahaha for the bad beggining au, lol i think both kalim and jamil would instantly be yandere towards yuu, like imagine yuu accidentally saves kalim at the right moment and place, but surprise yuu doesn't know about kalim being rich or his identity, and kalim starts to obssess over yuu, but with jamil under kalim's orders, the best option for him to use snake's whisper to find out about yuu's origin and learning the true reason of their predicament, and jamil projecting his issues on to them thus making him a yandere to yuu bc of how they never asked to have this happened to them, viper family being servants to the al-asims and yuu's forced servanthood to NRC, lol jamil being a manipulative and obsessive yandere and kalim being a delussional and obsessive yandere go burr

Yuu at this point is well aware of unique magics, and overblots, they have scars and a "job" at Sam's store, being able to buy little tickets to themselfs at least, and blankets, many blankets

After Leona's overblot most of their fisical bullies got scared and don't interact so much at plain sight, the streets are finaly being used by Yuu

After Azul's overblot they got many presents, a "compensation" for their trouble, Yuu sold most of them and asked Azul to cut the crap and leave them alone, they don't need those presents, they know very well that he would just use those for guilting them at some point

Those were the most drastical changes that Yuu noticed, the others were more... subtle, for them at least, Leona bumps into them often, and seems to prefers stiking near them when they have a task to clean some places, it's just silence and staring... much staring

The Leech twins always make time to bother Yuu at some point, mostly Floyd and his squeezes, when Jade tags along he usualy wears a knowing smirk, Yuu got used to their presence and refuses to put an effort to seems entertaining enough to them, Floyd quickly gets bored and that can end two ways, he gets aggressive or he just walks away, if Jade is there he stops his brother, if he isn't... well... at some rare occasions he just picks Yuu and throws them at mostro louge work or something...

Azul refuses to meet Yuu face to face after his overblot, he's fuming that Yuu is the one in charge of bringing him homework and sending reports to the headmaster, tho he does wish to see them at the lounge after he recovers, their presence wasn't that much of a bother...

That was just a quick summary of how things were going to Yuu, now, in canon Yuu met Kalim and Jamil at chapter 4, but we say fuck it, so it's almost winter break

You see, Yuu isn't a heroe, Yuu doesn't have the time nor mindset to help others at any given point, a student stumble over and his books falls? They just walk pass, if they can't clean room 5 by the next lunch break Crowley will lecture them gain, a student lost something? If they don't know were it is they don't stop to help the guy, they are just the silent and mysterious handyman of NRC

However... unbeknown to Yuu... they have a name, because Yuu may not help, but they are efficient and thick skinned now

One day a potion was clearly going to blown in Crewel's class, that day Yuu just happens to be Crewel's helper of the day, this wasn't the first time, and honestly be a teachers helper is way more interesting and less tiring than being the handyman, so Yuu listened, Yuu knew how Crewel organized the ingredients, Yuu separated the piles of corrected tests and read some right answers, and Yuu is too tired to clean the mess this is going to cause, so what do they do? They fix it

Crewel noticed almost too late, he shielded the students and Yuu, in the last moment, threw the right ingredients and started to mix them FAST, slowly the potion stabilizes and everything is fine.... except that teh students are in awe, this is the "useless and magicless handyman" they aren't suposed to know how to fix potions

In the other day Yuu saw a curse that went terribly wrong, it transformed a poor student in a giant beast, the student it was pursing threw them at said monster and Yuu knew they couldn't escape so what did they do? They made eye contact with the beast and stood in the hallway

Yuu realy didn't cared if they would die... but destiny said not today, the beast almost knocked the human, but it stoped at the last minute and stared at Yuu... Crowley arrived to a crowd of students filming and murmuring rumors, who's the new kid? Is that their unique magic? They saved that student, what is going on?

Yuu collapsed once the beast was under control, that was terrifying....

Yuu awoke at night time in the infirmary, they decide to head to Ramshackle

Meanwhile Kalim was held until midnight to a extra class with Trein, he realy didn't understand one thing that was being said din those books.... he realy should have waited for Jamil to pick him up, NRC at night is scary....

Everything had happened so fast, one second they met a friendly boy the other said boys is being kidnapped right in front of their eyes, and against all odds Yuu pursued them

They jump, and dive, and turn, and scale walls, the kidnappers are so quick almost too quick, but Yuu knows this grounds, Yuu can make a pretty good guess to were the bastard is running to so they make a leap of fate, taking the nearest shortcut adrenaline plumping their veins they run and run and jump

Kalim can't feel his legs, he doesn't understands were he is, but he knows what is happening, it has happened before... he hopes Jamil can get to him before his parents get the tiresome notice of another kidna- he's thrown in the ground, no, he isn't thrown, his captor feel

The boy feel worried hands turning him, they are kind and panicked, the face of the stranger he met mere moments ago, did they... did they come to help him? Realy? Why?

He still can't respond properly, but he knows he's in their back now, and they are running to somewhere... to Scarabia

Jamil was the only one that wasn't surprised by the attention skills of the mysterious handyman, no, he better than anyone always suspected the magicless human to be more than they let on, because he himself is in a similar position, don't be seen, don't be heard and let others think less of you so you don't get in trouble

He may have been planing interacting with them if he had any free time, it would be better if he could engage someone like him in his plan, or dispose of someone who could ruin it, he just didn't plan to it occur now and in this circumstances

A frightened strangers with a knocked out Kalim is their back enters in full speed in the main hall, they look terrified, Jamil's first instinct if to get to Kalim, he fakes confusion about who they are, but is a good host, after putting Kalim in bed he interacts with them, he learns about the captors, the run, the incidents and even gets some inside information about the overblots that are occurring in the school

It's very useful and he judges he made a great first impression, but nothing prepared him for Yuu's coments:

Yuu: Jamil Viper... oh! The guy with the unique taste for grades?

Jamil: what do you mean by that?

Yuu: I mean, I saw your tests, and I hear the teachers too, they say you have plenty of potential, but refuses to give it you all, but judging by your results it's realy weird, you are very precise with your answers and even more careful with your error, almost as if you know the right answer but doesn't wants a hight grade? I dunno it can be only my imagination too...

Jamil: ... you are... very attentive for someone who isn't even a student

Yuu: it gets boring being always confused, so I just overthink everything and try to understand were I am, doesn't seem like Crowley can get me home anytime soon anyway...

Jamil: so the mirror can't get you home?

Yuu: nope! Am stuck here as long as the headmaster desires I guess, your "useless handyman" as they call

Jamil frowns at that, "useless"? Maybe in magic but not at all useless, no, Yuu just proves to be in a very similar situation to Jamil, he sympathizes with them, but can't do much about it either, maybe they can be of a better use, yes, they met Kalim but they don't seem to know who Kalim is, or why he almost got kidnapped

It's a interesting evening, they don't know much about this world, very reclusive about their routine,but slowly they open, and soon enough they are playing games while Kalim recovers, Jamil doesn't notice that he let's loose

Yuu: I knew you were smarter than you let on

Jamil: ha, you don't even know this game, how can you possibly know what a good player looks like?

Yuu: because I lied and because your eyes shine like a pro when you are focusing on winning

Kalim awakens the next day and starts bumbling about the stranger that saved his life and how he wishes to meet them again, while Jamil wants to know more about Yuu, they little chat and game last night left him craving for a rerun... but that can wait a little bit more...

It's a sparkle that culminates in chapter 4, Kalim falls like a brick, he wants to be with them so bad, he wants to hold them and shower them in jewelry and them to pay attention to him, he wants those caring gestures again, he wants to fell safe,a nd he knows they want to fell safe again, he can provide that! He knows he can

Jamil falls slowly by the way Yuu treats him, Yuu sees through his bullshit and it infuriated and intrigues him, he empathizes with them and honestly hopes for a better future for them, he wishes he could do more to help them, he can't do anything for now, but he knows who can... he hates sharing, but is it sharing if he can make them fall for him first?

Gojo Satoru's Good Side

Warnings- Gonna be spoliers for Volume 0, and Gojo's school days arc (I forgot the actual name but I think it was something 'star plasma vessel arc'?) anime episode no. 6 and 21. And some latest fanbook spoilers as well. And some theories about his past as well.

So right now we know little about Gojo's family and childhood but to me it's kind of apparent that he may have had sort of an oppressive childhood and his rebellious nature stems from being made to carry the responsibilities from a very young age.

Not only he was the next in line head of the clan in his childhood but also the carrier of the 6 eyes that was born after 400 years and with the pressure of inheriting the clan's technique limitless I have enough reasons to believe he lost a huge part of his childhood in order to be the 'honoured one' he is now.

He's someone who's learned the importance of youth after losing his own.

He longs for freedom with a dream to have an uncorrupted Jujutsu society where the people don't have to be bound to the irrational rules and outdated ideals of people just bec they are a few decades older.

He's ambitious and have the power to become a mass murdered on loose to reach his goal but he knows nobody will follow him down that path. He wants a world where everyone lives their own way not the way that is forced upon them. And as a teacher makes it a point to pass that knowledge on to his students that he low key cares about a lot.

The parallels-

Why he supports Yuuta and Yuuji-

His words are similar and so are his actions in both cases.

At first glance Gojo comes off as a selfish jerk that only seems to care about making things go his own way and it may be true to some extent but inbetween those self entered and reckless nature there are moments of pure kindness and generosity, the subtlety of which can easily be overlooked if you're not careful.

He never makes it a point to boast about his sentimental actions. Sure he's kinda narcissistic in other ways but the fact that he tries to help his students from behind the scenes without a word shows he is not just a simple 'anti hero' troupe.

He tries to protect both Yuuji and Yuuta during what's supposed to be the 'best years of their life'. He knows the value of every mundane things of Highschool that will soon become a memory. Something that everyone's supposed to look back with fondness.

This was one of the first out the very few times we see Gojo emotional, like Shoko comments, it was very unlike him bc he prefers to treat things indifferently and unemotionally.

Not only was Yuuji in a somewhat similar situation with Yuuta but he was also someone who Gojo saw potential in.

Now let's go back to his school days arc. Even tho he makes it clear how he hates that ' strong should protect the weak' charade, after finding out about Amanai Riko's situation he goes out of his way to not only protect her but make sure she has fun during the little time she had left before merging into a state of unconsciousness ( correct me if I'm wrong).

He lets her have as much fun as she wants all the while exerting himself to keep his limitless technique on (when he couldn't control all that well back then), untill he was exhausted to his breaking point. And in the end even tells Geto to let her run away with some money so she could live her life as a normal girl.

⚾ He is aware how hard the Jujutsu soccer lifestyle is and how it will only get harder after they all graduate. The need to have fun during their school time is something he truly believes in and it shows when he seekily changes the individual battel event into a fun and relaxing baseball game.

How he pays attention to the details, he's insightful when it counts-

His concerned face and tone when Megumi gets out so easily. He wanted Megumi to have fun too. It's obvious how much he cares about his students or atleast Megumi.

Even if he didn't experienced all the joys of childhood, he didn't let it change his views on them or forget about their value and importance in life.

His kindness can easily go unnoticed bc of his usually laid back and nonchalant demeanor that comes off as rude and frivolous but in actuality he doesn't make it a point to show off how much he cares nor does he expects for this care to be returned.

His love is filled with complexities and inconsistencies bc he doesn't believe in coddling up his loved ones, like he said He's more of a 'tough love' kinda guy.

One moment he's spending all his energy in making your life hard with his ridiculous and outrageous pranks and his unofficial position as the no. 1 troll teacher and the next thing you know your day becomes a little bit brighter, filled with a little more laughter bc of its light hearted moments that he brings in.🧁

Ah, thank you for your interest!! Yeah a lot of the stuff I had for her I kinda wooshed off of the blog (bc mental illness etc etc) but I still have her premiere post HERE and I can throw some fun facts out there for sure [:

While I've expressed her inspiration came mostly from Jane Fonda, I also got inspiration from another similarly named character- Marvel's Janet Van Dyne aka the Wasp!! Ofc my Jan is her own character and has her differences from her real life and fictional inspirations but she very much has elements of them as well [:

When Frank served in the Korean War he and Jan lost touch; in this time was when she started her anti-war activism and also happened to date a few people fairly casually, namely one Stacey Freeman (who is the daughter of the Freemans that Woods lived with from time to time in my headcanons post1)- they cut it off a little while before Frank came back into Janet's picture but remained friends for life [:

Janet volunteers a LOT- she was lucky enough to have some inheritance put aside after her father died, and then after her brother and her mother died, so she has a stable enough base that she has the time to go to any local soup kitchens, mutual aid events, so on and so forth. This doesn't stop after she has the twins in 1980; she's often seen with them in a carrier on her back or in a stroller with her.

Jan and Frank's conversations tend to seem a little concerning to anyone who may be listening in in passing- they're both fairly loud individuals who curse every other word, so their casual talks tend to sound a little harsh from the outside, but they'd never truly get to the point of arguing over petty things- and any serious conversation they may need to hash out is always in private. They make scenes in public in other ways HDJDHSJS

Not to get all ASTROLOGY here but Jan is a sagittarius and Frank is a pisces and this has a number of implications- especially considering they've known each other since childhood, they have a really deep and kind of profound bond that their fun-loving antics can overshadow sometimes. They're both really empathetic and passionate and tend to make extravagant gestures toward those they care about; oft times they go with the flow rather than make any kind of plans in advance, for better or for worse HDJSGS ultimately they square one another out as Frank is more grounded and Jan is more idealistic with her head in the clouds

Janet and her twin Johnny always butted heads as kids, and Johnny always made a point to harass Frank in some way any time he came around- but when it came down to it, Johnny cared very very deeply about both Janet AND Frank and. In a universe where Johnny lives past his canon time of death he's Frank's best man in Frank and Janet's wedding in '73. (Mostly bc Alex is still MIA at this point, in South Africa with Hudson and Weaver until '78 HDJDHDJD)

Janet refuses to get rid of her greys when they start coming in HDJDGDJHD she thinks they make her look sophisticated and she's right

Janet, at some point- probably around the time she and Frank lost touch for a few years- attended college! I have yet to decide for what and where but this is true

You don’t know how Bakugou got out, but he did. He had more fight left in him than either you or Midoriya gave him credit for, and it seemed that was Midoriya’s downfall. 

He didn’t take it well, slamming door after door in the house looking for the blonde- calling his name, begging him to come out from where he was hiding. All while you remained chained to the bed, a new collar sitting prettily against your throat. Midoriya had been so excited coming home, too, boasting about how many villains he took down before saying he went on a shopping spree- ready to ‘spoil’ the two of you. 

You were asleep when Bakugou left, he didn’t seem to find it important to wake you, to take you with him. You don’t blame him, you’d only slow him down in his efforts to get help- you hoped he’d get help. Hoped he wouldn’t just leave you with Midoriya, who bursts in the room with a manic expression. 

“He’s gone.” Is the first thing that leaves his lips. For a moment, Midoriya looks lost. Like a kid who can’t find their mom in the grocery store, and it’d really break your heart if you had any sympathy left for the man standing before you. But, you don’t. His eyes settle on you. “Did you help him?” 

You shake your head, because no you didn’t help him. You wish you did. Midoriya’s in front of you in the second it takes to blink, and you flinch, scrambling back in an effort to create some distance. He doesn’t falter, grabbing you by your shoulders and digging his nails into your skin. He’s shaking. 

“Did you help him?” He asks again, with more urgency, and you give the same response. A shake of the head. You couldn’t find your voice if you tried. “Look at me.” He whispers. You look at him through your lashes, willing the tears that form in your eyes away. They fall down your cheeks instead. 

He opens his mouth to say more, but stops himself when there’s banging on the front door. You both look up at the sound. There’s a moment of silence before you hear the front door being blown off of its hinges. You flinch at the noise and Midoriya places a hand over your mouth to prevent anything from coming out. 

“Midoriya Izuku, we’re here with a warrant for your arrest.” A voice calls out in the house. Midoriya’s eyes are frantic as they look around the room; from the chains to the collars. He’s fucked if they catch him. You know it, and he knows it. 

“Shit.” 

It’s the first time you’ve ever heard Midoriya curse, grip wavering. He looks at you with uncertainty, before pressing a kiss to the crown of your head. “I’ll come back for you, I swear.” 

Then, he’s pulling away from you, breaking the latch on the window with ease and slipping out seconds before a hero in an all white costume barges through the door. You flinch away from the splintering wood and can only stare, wide-eyed. He looks just as surprised, before calling over his shoulder, “I got someone!”

The recovery period is much longer than anticipated. For both you and Bakugou. After you were unchained and taken from the house, you were brought to a hospital. There wasn’t anything terribly wrong with you, save for a couple bruises, and you were told Bakugou was staying in a room a few doors down. It doesn’t take long to be discharged, and you and Bakugou are asked question after question about what happened-  when did he take you, what did he do, where did he go? 

The last one was a question you couldn’t answer. Where did he go? The thought of him still being out there left you shaking, but he’d been stripped of his hero license, stripped of everything that made him happy. Well, everything except his quirk. 

It was hard, getting back in the loop of things. You moved back in with your parents while an anonymous hero agency offered to pay all of your medical bills. You and Bakugou grew closer as the weeks went on, your therapist suggested it’s because you both went through the trauma together, so there’s now an unbreakable bond.

You learn later it was Bakugou’s agency that paid your bills. Bakugou’s recovery is faster than yours, but you assume it’s because he wants to get back on his feet- he wants to get back into hero work. That doesn't stop him from visiting you, though. 

Within a few months, you’re ready to be on your own again. Well, not totally alone. Just away from your doting parents. Bakugou offers to go halfsies on an apartment, and you don’t deny him- moving in with someone you trust who's also a hero?  It’s the best deal you can think of. 

Bakugou’s really easy to live with, you come to realize. He’s neat, always keeping his things organized, and always making sure you eat regularly despite his irregular hours. He’s caring, in his own weird way. Checking in on you when he can, or giving nightly calls when he’s away for his hero work. It becomes almost natural, relying on one another, though you don’t comment on his strange habits. 

They start off small. Him popping his head into your room on occasion, as if to assure himself you were still there, or him installing cameras in every room in the apartment (excluding the bathroom- that you know of) and watching the live feed like it’s his own TV show while at work.

But he promises it’s all for your safety! That each tick and trick he has is to make sure you’re okay. Who are you to judge him for his habits? Even when you get chills from his stare sometimes, something bubbling in your chest that you’d only felt around Midoriya.

15×09 "The Trap" Meta

Warning: As always, Destiel and Saileen positive so don't like don't read.

OMG guys I can't even this episode was something else. Like, for real.

First of all, it looks like I was right about Eileen being part of Chuck's plan.

"I helping to Sam the Bunker. To Sam. To Romance." Thanks Chuck for proving me right, but if you could please not hurt my baby Eileen and Sam while you do it would be awesome ;-;

Now if only I could be in the right about the happy ending...

But whatever. Let's talk about the prayer first, because I could talk about it for hours. Everything was so wonderful.

First, when Dean looks he only have 29 minutes left to find Cas, you could see all the trauma resourfaced. You could see how he was imagining ending up without Cas again. Having to go back home (although he didn't seem to be going to the portal when right before he found Cas, but I have no certainty about it) and leave Cas behind, and he imagined himself reliving the guilt and the hallucinations and the hopelessness.

And, above all, Dean imagined having to live through it all knowing he never fixed their relationship. Rowena's words about not waiting until it was too late must have been ringing in his ears. And he knows that he needs Cas to know.

Purgatory's pureness gave him a new understanding of his emotions, and I'm not talking about the anger (it's obvious Dean already knew he had that problem), but the need for Cas.

"Cas, buddy, I need you." That same need, mixed with the possibility of losing Cas yet once again was enough for Dean to just break down in the middle of a land of abominations.

And the first thing he says. "I should've stopped you." Can you see how he is telling us we were right all along? Cas said "I left but you didn't stop me." And now Dean knows he could have.

If he had tried to talk, if he had asked Cas to stay, maybe he wouldn't have left. Dean put himself through that depression (the even heavier drinking, comfort food, the coldness) .

[And as an author note. How was that real? "You didn't stop me/I should've stop you" The Brontë sisters WISH they could write that levels of angsty romance.]

And, having Dean finally admitting to his very real anger issues gives me very high hopes for everything else. It's not like his problem will disappear, it does was kinda beaten into him, but having him admitting it is recognizing it as a standing problem between Dean and a Happy Future, so we can assume that will be another one of the problem they'll tackle in the rest of the season.

(Or maybe they'll forget about it. But s15 has been so good until now that I'm hoping they won't ignore it.)

And Dean calling Cas his best friends. Holy mother of God. I know I made several jokes about it, but it truly is so significant. Because words like "Family" and "Brother (and sister for Charlie)" are ones Dean had given other people. But Best Friend is only for Cas, it puts him in a special place in Dean's live no one else shares.

Maybe it's not exactly the place we want him to be in (yet), but the fact alone that they recognize once again how Dean and Cas' relationship is different to the one they have with anyone else.

So when did found Cas and said "Okay, Cas, I need to say something", I agree we wasn't about to repeat his prayer.

The Prayer (the fact that Dean got on his damn knees, for god's sake) was a moment of absolute vulnerability and emotion. Dean grew up in with a "no emotions" mentality tought to him by John, and so we seldom see him show this kind of raw vulnerability by choice. Considering that the Winchesters (as always, I include Jack and Cas in there) are an experts in 'I screw up and you got angry but then we had a bigger problem so we kinda left it behind us bc we are family and I love you anyway, or we just move on without never really discussing it' but not in actually apologizing, I would go as far as to say this was probably the most heartfelt apologize we've seen in the series.

I've watched the scene like a million times, and he just carries an attitude of doing something big. Like a big reveal, not like repiting himself.

Because he knew Cas heard him. The reason he said "I hope you can here me, that wherever you are, it's not too late" it's 'cause he was afraid Cas had died. That is was really too late. Once he saw Cas was alive? I don't think Dean doubted for a second Cas had heard him. He was hoing to say something else.

Cas clearly didn't want to take the risk of Dean telling him what he truly wanted to hear- what he had wanted for years. The risk of his deal with the Empty hovering behind hime. He couldn't be so selfish as allowing himself to hear it, just to abandon Dean right after.

Then Cas interrupted him.

Or abandoning Sam when he was at God's mercy, or leaving the World SavingTM to them. He couldn't. Dean doesn't even now about the deal.

I cannot tell you how much I loved it. Not in a "I want this to happen" way, of course not, but in what it means.

That's why Dabb said this episode wasn't the resolution. There's still much unsaid between them, if you believe there is an 'I love you' somewhere there. I think that's what has my hopes the highest. Because if they are only bff, then why didn't this solve everything? What is left hanging? I don't want to clown but it's literally the only thing that makes sense in my opinion.

And now, let's talk about the future Sam saw.

Sam and Dean don't need only each other to be happy, they need other people. That's basically what that future said.

"What's happened to you Dean? Ever since..."

"Ever since what? We lost pretty much everyone we ever cared about?"

[There is like a 2 second pause here that I feel very important andd significant. The separation between what 'everyone' and 'Cas']

"Ever since the Mark made Cas go crazy? Ever since I had to bury him in Ma'lak box? Ever since then? Yeah." [Jfc you can hear it pains him to say Cas' name]

"Bobby had a death wish and you know it. And Jody? Ever since what happened to Donna and the girls, she does too.

And after Eileen? So do you."

He's acknowledging everyone's breaking point. Jody's was Donna and the girls (we don't know exactly which one was the last straw, as we know that at least in Claire's case they died at different times). Sam's was Eileen. His was Cas.

And he is very clear in that. We can't know what happened first, but we know that Sam asks what happened to *him* and he says it was Cas going crazy. It was having to bury Cas alive what made him lose all hope. Because at least he can hope they ones dead can find pace, but Cas? Dean, and for how he said it he probably did it alone, had to bury Cas knowing he was going to be there for the rest of the time. Suffering alone. Dean knows how it's like to have the Mark.

That broke Dean. And having Sam wasn't enough to put him back together.

And after Eileen somehow died again, Sam just stop caring about living, he just care about taking down as many monsters as he can before he dies. 'Death wish' Dean called it. He would know about that, he is Dean "You wanna die" Winchester, after all.

Having Dean wasn't enough for Sam to want to keep on living.

"We lost, brother. We lost. I'm done."

They still have each other? Yes. Is that remotely enough? No. That's what the future told us. They need more than each other, they need other people.

But there was a little something else that made it even more beautiful.

"The Dean who raised me [...]"

Let's be clear about something, I think the show never gives enough recognition for having raised same pretty much by himself since he was 4 years. The situation was totally unfair to Dean and yet he never once took it out on Sam, he just look out for him, cooked for him, and make sure he could be as much of a child as the situation allowed, that is a lot more than Dean ever could. In his own words, he wasn't just a brother, he was also a father and a mother.

I just want to cry for thinking how hard that was for both brother. And Sam knows it, even if he doesn't always acknowledges. So the fact that he chose the words "the Dean that raised me" when "the Dean that I know", for example, would have conveyed the sentiment as well, is significant.

They wanted to remember how important they are for each other, how much they love each other. They don't dismiss that, they are making sure we remember that, at the same time they are telling us the alone aren't enough for a happy ending.

They are telling us what we need for a True Happy Ending.

Dean and Sam still being close brothers and loving each other, but allowing themselves to love and need other people.

Okay I'll go to the point.

A HAPPY ENDING IS SAM AND THEN HAVING OTHER PEOPLE IN THEIR LIVES WITHOUT LOSING EACH OTHER.

A HAPPY ENDING IS THE END OF THE TOXIC CODEPENDENCY AND THE START OF A HEALTHY RELATIONSHIP THAT INCLUDES THEIR RELATIONSHIPS WITH OTHER PEOPLE.

You guys now I've been saying they are hinting at it since my meta of "The Rupture" but this ain't foreshadowing THEY ARE SCREAMING IT. Like I can't come up with a radically different interpretation.

So this episode only got my hopes for endgame Saileen and Destiel (the destiel maybe not at canon as the saileen, but heavily hinted at least) even higher. Specially for the parallel with Eileen having Dean's doubts ("I don't know what's real") and Sam making kinda answering the same ("We are"/"I know that was real"). Btw I'll be screaming because of that for the rest of my days.

[BONUS: Random questions I can't seem to answer.

Does the angels even know God's going bersek? I mean, Belphegor didn't know it was God the one who broke hell... but even Lilith's been brought back. Do they know Micheal's back? God I don't know.

Was that really a possible future? Or it does was like a Zacharaiah tactic? Why does Chuck's abscence makes monster go crazy? Wasn't the point that it didn't unblanaced the powers?

Story-wise, why ain't Cas in next episode?

Was that the last mention of Claire? An off-screen hypotetical death? Please someome let me see my girl again.]
