I just learned about the cover of “Every time we touch” by Dan Avidan and my GOD
My FUCKING god dude. It is so good! I kid you not when I say it literally would fit all my OCs and also many of the characters I draw for many different reasons. Wilson and Maxwell from Don’t Starve, Fake Peppino and Peppino from Pizza Tower, the Dealer, Dr.Habit.
There is something so beautifully dark about this version like… either you can apply it to someone that is touch starved and need the intimacy and is desperate OR you can go the insanity path and apply it to a character that is obsessed with another one.
Would recommend a listen definitely. Will be vibing to this for a while and will draw things to it as well cause my god I’m obsessed cjgbkvb
Also as usual Dan’s voice is 👌👌👌👌 (if you don’t know him, go listen to “The Last Domino” or some Ninja Sex Party songs or cover they did. Tis good food.)
Here is the link for you people who would be lazy to search it on yt (i got you fam I’m the same)

forever obsessed with dynamics between vampires, specifically that of a maker and fledgling, as a way to explore abuse. the creation of a vampire itself can so easily be a literalization of the lasting impacts of trauma and also much more simply the ways a perpetrator might shape their victim’s very identity. the extremes of isolation in the way that the new vampire, in most narratives, must cut all ties to their mortal life, or else go through an elaborate charade to maintain the facade of humanity, while forever still being removed from it. and the sheer dependence and vulnerability of being in an entirely new state of being, wholly uncertain of what it entails, and relying on another person to define… everything.

Banshee Star
When Ember asked him to be her duet at a concert, Danny didn't think it was a good idea, but the ghost insisted and said she was sure he had a very good voice. In the end the halfa accepted, and they passed off their ghostly appearance as some kind of exotic make-up. They were Phantom and Ember, "Ghost Stars".
Oddly enough, that was how Danny discovered that his voice was...strangely good for singing. The people around him seemed vaguely hypnotized before Ember snapped them out of said state with a solo on her guitar. People said it was an amazing experience.
Danny decided to accept more of the ghost invitations and in a very short time they had become very popular musicians - they even toured! but when they were passing through Gotham, they were stopped by the dark knight.
Batman was very concerned about the mind control he had noticed at several concerts and decided to confront the source. It was best to thwart their plans before they happened. His sons were not convinced about his deductions.

Thinkin bout how every Eliot episode is him having the opportunity to do something other than be a weapon and a tool (for the army or some govt or Nate) and he always finds that he really likes it and is good at it, even to the point of ditching the job temporarily to have fun for himself. But ultimately at the end of the day he always goes back to the team and to being a weapon its just so spicy and tragic but at the same time it's because they're his family and his home

Spy x Family Karaoke
Loid: he would be so effortlessly good at singing like he is with everything else. He's the best singer there and totally embarrassed about it. (He originally didn't want to sing but Anya made him).
Yor: her voice is already canonically heavenly. I think she would get drunk and sing the most wonderful song and not remember a thing the next day.
Anya: she has the confidence of the best singer in the world but the voice of a four year old.
Yuri: gets drunk and starts crying over how good a singer Yor is. No one can understand a word he's singing through his tears.
Frankie: tries to sing a seductive song but is so abysmal that he is almost kicked out for harassment.
Handler: originally didn't want to sing but gets a little too into it. She's pretty good and starts a petty competition with Loid to see who can sing better (she loses).
Fiona: has never really sung before so she nearly ruins her voice trying to beat Yor (who is too drunk to know they are competing).

also hi hello modern newsies time. modern spot has absolutely perfected the separation between his work and personal life. he has one real friend at work who knows both sides of him but when the random guy who from the office who barely knows him runs into him at the grocery store he's like whoah. you have a septum piercing and dress like you belong at a punk rock show and are apparently funny enough to make the twink next to you laugh out loud every other sentence. and spot is like yes :| and what about it :| and never mentions it at work again
