hi friends thank you all for your condolences. i thought tippy was 17 but my mother thinks he was 18 or 19. we’re gonna dig out the old photo albums sometime soon to try pinpoint it exactly. either way he was v old and i barely remember life without him so its been difficult to wrap my brain around him no longer being here. anyway heres a pic of him as a younger boy

The four boys were sitting on the floor in their dorm room, an array of snacks they stole from the kitchen in the middle, and a half-eaten cake that they had attempted to make. Sirius, the birthday queen, had a crown on their head and was ripping open presents. First was the new record from Peter and some Zonko’s products. James’ present was a picture of the four of them in a handmade pasta frame (he saw them in Lily’s bedroom when he went to visit that summer and became obsessed!) and some of Effie’s famous biscuits. Remus’ gift was buried in a box under an unhealthy amount of chocolate. Sirius looks at the four little boots then up at Remus, confused.

“They’re dog shoes, so Padfoot’s paws don’t get wet in the snow. Your hands are always freezing when you turn back.” He looked worried, about Sirius’ hands but also about Sirius’ reaction. Did he get her the wrong present?

That’s when Sirius slams into the boy next to him and they fall in a heap of limbs, Sirius wrapping their arms around him and kissing his cheek. 

“I love them, thank you Moons”

Tom is Alicia Florrick eldest sister coded. He must be perfect he must not be a burden if he causes any issues at all it will rock the boat and he does not want yo rock the boat. If he excels he will stand out and be appreciated. He must be good. He cannot be perfect (gay) so he must be ya know? His parents have been on the precipice of divorce for a decade by the time he’s 17 (he’s been rooting for them to get it over and done with since he was 11). They don’t need any of his shit to deal with too. Sarah on the other hand is younger sister coded. She has her own shit going on. Unlike ice she didn’t realize divorce was on the horizon until it was right in front of her and an already rebellious streak was exacerbated. She’s an emotions first consequences second kind of person and can be a little selfish although can you really blame her? Amy is the true youngest sister but she’s got that bonus baby ten years younger than her siblings thing happening. Ice and Sarah are super different but have a forged in fire closeness. Amy is just kinda vibing outside of them. She grew up with her parents divorce being a done deal by her 6th birthday and thus in a much chiller environment. Ice left huge expectations and Sarah left none so whatever Amy did was good enough. She feels a little left out and left behind sometimes but only when reminded that she’s not like actually an only child. At 34 Ice is a USNA grad like his father with an exceedingly impressive career and huge things to come but with no wife or girlfriend to show for it. At 31 Sarah is finding her footing after a bit of a wild 20s with a nursing degree and job. At 22 Amy is going to grad school for writing thinking how lucky she is Sarah turned her back on the navy and rotc back then. It’s made her parents much more accepting of a theater degree.

Like I just know Modern!Eddie goes to therapy. And I also know he hates doing things like running or going to the gym. He just doesn't consider himself the athletic type at all. But he also has anxiety. So his therapist suggests he starts with something that will help him calm down and burn energy.

Eddie has zero interest in yoga (nothing farther from his style), but he decides to go so he can at least say he tried. He gets to your studio, all dressed in black and with his hair in a bun, and feels so out of place.

And then he meets you. And you make him feel so calm and safe. And also how the fuck are you that flexible? And is he supposed to have balance? And why does it smell so good here?

He leaves feeling absolutely exhausted (who would have thought doing yoga could be so tiring?) and with the suspicion that he has a tiny crush on you. Maybe not so tiny.

“Ah. Well. ” Matthew cleared his throat uncomfortably, the mild sense of impending doom steadily building. “I suppose we best be going then?” 

Thelma smiled up at him, a darling sort of smile, the type that lit up half the room, so genuinely happy that Matthew decided whatever happened in the next hour - no matter how disastrous and or embarrassing - it would be worth it for that smile on his sister’s face.
