I just think that it’s important that everyone knows I love Bungo stray dogs. But specifically that I love the way the relationships between characters are portrayed.

Sometimes I just spend more than a second thinking about how any two characters interact and I get emotional because OH GOD THEYRE THEYRE THIS TO EACH OTHER AND THEY WENT THROUGH THIS AND THEN THIS HAPPENED AND PLOT AND CHARWCTER DEVELOPMENT and it’s exquisite. I eat it up every time.

This. This, my friends. This right here proves two things:

First, Luffy is okay with being used as a dress-up doll as long as it’s his friends doing it, maybe even likes it/has fun with it (as can be seen from his smile), and doesn’t have any problems with makeup or his makeup or hair being done. It shows that he usually wears simple clothing for the simple reason that he simply doesn’t care and that it’s more practical but wouldn’t be opposed to dressing up as can also be seen in some of the movies. So people who criticise fanart of Luffy dressed up can just shut up. It also shows he doesn’t have any general aversion to stuff that is often considered girly or feminine like makeup or long braids (though of course anyone can wear makeup or long hair or dresses or whatever they like and feel comfortable with) and the scene on Amazon Lily with the frills on his shirt was simply because he thinks specific things are cool or not or fit into what he has been told is cool or “manly” (if his friends told him frills are cool he probably wouldn’t have a problem with them either) and not because he thinks being feminine and/or female is not cool. So people who call Luffy misogynistic for whatever reason just stop, think about what you’re saying and if you still don’t see how it’s wrong just go to a far away corner to talk to the fucking wall.

And secondly, his hair stretches as well. His hair stretches long enough for people to be able to MAKE IT INTO A BRAID THAT REACHES DOWN TO HIS CHEST!!! Think about that. And then if you’re an artist go make me some fanart of Luffy with long braids thx.
