How is it that we so often take the Mother Earth and its myriad wonders for granted, failing to marvel at its beauty and magic each day? Look around at the magnificent nature, all the wondrous creatures, the very air we breathe, and the food that sustains us. Even our own bodies, functioning like intricate machines, are miracles in themselves. How can we not pause each day to stand in admiration, to honor this world in all its complexity, from the grand, macro scale to the delicate, micro level?

i feel like there’s something inherently xenophobic in saying kara should never feel at home on earth because that would make her “no longer kryptonian”. that’s not how it works. kara will always be krypronian. and she will always carry her planet with her. but she deserves a second chance. she deserves a place she could call home that she could always return to. a family, friends. a life. all things she could no longer have on her home planet. kara deserves to heal and have a happy, fulfilling life. it’s not choosing one planet over the other, it’s celebrating both. you can have more than one place you call “home”. enjoying earth, building a life there, will never ever make kara any less kryptonian.

As I clear out what is no longer needed from my life.. I am making space for the new.
Been too busy for too long… things to do just to survive (work to pay for rent and food), have left little time for what I really want to do.
Been aiming for a more minimalistic lifestyle, for a few years now. I’ll tell you, having less things clears out some headspace. And now, finally giving myself time to relax before starting a new chapter in my life, I can step back and take a better look at the bigger picture.
What I really want to do are things that will positively impact big parts of the Earth. After some eye-opening events, I see now that it is more important than just about anything else. I have a lot of ideas, and it all begins with writing them down. That is the first step to manifesting. Or second, if you count thinking of it as step 1. Could also dream about it, meditate on it, but those are all mental. So writing it is the first physical step.
The beauty of it is, nothing has to be any certain way. Not at all. Everything will turn out exactly as it’s supposed to be. So why stress about it? There is only so much we can control.. our own actions. That’s it. Everything else is up to the Universe, which is much bigger than us, and works in magical unknown ways. Connecting more deeply with it, it shows me exactly what I am supposed to do. It’s up to me, but I am supposed to do these things, to keep the energy flowing better.
A big shift has happened. A lot is changing.
Let us connect with our Earth. May we apologize for any disrespect, and promise to do our part to take better care of it. Earth needs our love and our attention. Disgusting acts of greed must stop destroying our planet. Let us appreciate her beauty.
I love the Earth. It is my home. Our home. Has been for many lifetimes. Let’s keep them coming, for a long time. Let’s turn this story around, in regard to how much humans have hurt the Earth. Let’s leave the oceans alone. Let’s find a way to use garbage as energy fuel. I live close to a landfill that has been polluting our air. They’ve been doing it all wrong. We need big changes.
That’s where my focus has been shifting. We’ve got a lot of work to do. Follow my journey.

Every child is born innocent and uncorrupted. A broken heart and shattered dreams will change that very easily. ‘Be kind’ is a catchy phrase but we have to set the example for others to follow. That takes courage and strength of character. Have we got what it really takes to see the good in ourselves and others?
