Poor old Henrietta broke her leg over the weekend. It's a bad break but the vet we saw feels like she should heal up well. She's active and alert and voracious as always so those are good signs!

One of my other chickens, Pearl Forrester, broke her leg back in 2019 and after a few weeks of cage-rest she healed up perfectly. I still have Pearl and she doesn't even have a hint of a limp. Henrietta is older ( 9 years old now! ), a bigger bird than Pearl, and her break is a bit worse but hopefully she'll still make a complete recovery too. In the mean time, pain meds and steroids twice a day for a while, lots of rest, and loads of yummy snacks for Miss Henrietta! Any good vibes y'all can spare for this sweet old lady are appreciated ❤️

Very hands on and vocal. He’s hugging and holding you as he whispers words of endearment and encouragement into your ear to try and get you through whatever it is that is going on. He also urges you to talk through it

D - Dates: What are dates with him like?

Food related at places where he can show off his grilling skills. I also expect he spends a lot of the boxing money he wins from his matches on you too. They do tend to be very casual since he is very money conscious at times. He’s incredibly attentive too and always taking care of you during these dates. Def an acts of service boy in this department

E - Equal: Are they the dominant one in the relationship, or rather passive?

I wanna say more passive, but not quite passive. I wouldn’t say equals though since in my head you certainly have a more dominant role in most things. But he does have his dominant moments where what he says is what he expects to happen (especially when it comes to your safety). He definitely just prefers to just go along with what you want since it makes you happy and spending time with you makes him happy

F - Feelings: When did they know they were in love?

You’re not a violent person nor do you like violence in the slightest - for entertainment or anything really. So when he first started boxing, he didn’t expect you to be on board with it or even attend any of his matches (prior to COVID). So when you not only supported him, but went out of your way to learn about the types of food that would provide him the best nutrition possible during his workouts and pre/post matches he was floored. And then you went to one of his matches. You may not like or support violence in any sense but you supported him. If that wasn’t love, he didn’t know what was. This is the same time you realize you’re in love, because you wouldn’t have done it for anyone else but him

G - Gratitude: How grateful are they in general? Are they aware of what their s/o is doing for them?

Geonwoo is so incredibly aware of everything when it comes to you. The example from above about the nutrition stuff you learned is an example. He catches on real quick that you are buying foods that are high in protein and healthy fats (which he finds out you had to look into after finding a book on the coffee table one night). He knows that you don’t have to do that, especially given your stance on the whole boxing situation, which is why he always makes sure to thank you and take care of you as best as he can. You get flowers and even more spontaneous dates and gifts every week or regularly as he can just to relieve you of the stress you may be harboring

H - Honesty: Do they have secrets they hide from their s/o? Or do they share everything?

Yep! He doesn’t want to get you involved in the Smile Capital situation immediately. While you knew about it, having either been present when his mom’s shop was originally trashed or the attack on his home, he still tried to keep you in the dark about as many of the specifics as he could. But other than that, he’s pretty open, keeping mainly surprises and more taxing manners to himself before he shares them

I - Inspiration: Did their s/o change them somehow, or the other way around? Like trying out new things or helped them overcome personal problems?

I suppose that since you entered his life he’s much more focused on having a stable and safe future. Not that he wasn’t before, because he was, but now with you in his life it’s something that he’s constantly working towards and puts at the forefront of everything that he does. Those who don’t know him very well will look at this and just think it’s Geonwoo being Geonwoo, but those who are close to him notice the determination even more after you enter his life

J - Jealousy: Do they get jealous easily? How do they deal with it?

A part of me wants to say yes, about how easily he gets jealous. And he gets pouty too. Man wants all of your attention on him. I would say he’s very much a golden retriever boyfriend. He honestly sits her moping and pouting until you give him your attention again. On more than a couple occasions though, I imagine he would also try and scare off some guys that are obviously making your uncomfortable with this boxing physique alone

K - Kiss: Are they a good kisser? What was the first kiss like?

I don’t remember if the show touches on previous relationships for either of the two main leads, but in my little world I’d imagine you’re his first everything. So everything is very new for Geonwoo. He’s a good kisser, but it certainly did take some time for him to get to that point. In my head, he was scared of doing too much and he was also focused on making sure you felt comfortable. So the very first kiss was very shy and experimental. They stay like that for a bit, but not very long

L - Love Confession: How would they confess to their s/o?

He’s stumbling over his words as he’s telling you, but he gets it out without fail. It’s very cute

M - Marriage: Do they want to get married? How do they propose? What would the marriage be like?

It is certainly on his mind, it may take a few years to get there since he does want to be financially, emotionally, and physically able to provide the married life you deserve, but it will happen. His proposal is very private, honestly. He might take you out to a very isolated part of a park or woods and propose there as the sunsets or something. Maybe the first place you met or had your date, without drawing attention of course. He’s the provider or at least attempts to be, because he also enables you to do things on your own. Think, “I know you can do it, but let me,” if that makes sense. You will certainly be supported and well loved that for sure

N - Nicknames: What do they call their s/o?

Him: Something cringingly sweet/cute, cutie, Baby,

He’s like a golden retriever puppy on crack. You might as well be running marathons in his mind with how often you’re on it. If someone doesn’t notice the lovestruck look on his face they are BLIND. He’s def an acts of service guy I feel

As golden retrievery as he is, he’s very shy when it comes to PDA. He might hold your hand or keep a hand at the small of your waist, but he’s very reserved in that sense I feel. He doesn’t want to draw attention to it, but not because he doesn’t want people to know that you’re together, but because he wants this to be your own little thing. Something just for the two of you

Q - Quirks: Something you do that he loves

You’re an avid reader here (reader of what idk, you just read!). The number of emotions you show on your face in the span of seconds when you read things without realizing it is something he loves. He could honestly watch you read all day long and never get tired

He’s pretty romantic and cliche, but he does it in a way that appeals to you and your tastes. Man’s down for anything that would make you happy

It’s honestly an issue how much he does to support you, emotionally, physically, and financially. If you need any money for something you’re doing, setting up a company or opening a shop, he makes sure to give it to you without complaint and offers help in any way he can. This man will sing you praises about how much he knows you’re going to succeed and never allow you to doubt yourself

T - Thrill: Do they need to try out new things to spice up your relationship? Or do they prefer a certain routine?

There’s certainly a preference for routine, being a boxer and all, but he’s also very spontaneous. He’s always keeping the two of your on your toes

Is it just me or does this marshmallow of a man scream empathy? No? Okay. SO incredibly empathetic man. He wears his heart on his sleeve. He’s also incredibly observant when it comes to you. Like, he notices when the slightest things are off and tries his best to make things easier for you or fix something if it’s because of him

V - Value: How important is the relationship to them? What is it worth in comparison to other things in their life?

You’re his family now so you automatically share a place with his mom. He puts the two of you on pedestal first and foremost in everything. Literally. If you need anything, he could be in the middle of a training session or out at a restaurant with Woojin, he’s gone in a second and on his way to you without an ounce of hesitation

Izzy Hands getting Injured on a Raid to Protect you:

You were pretty sure you were going to wear down the wood beneath your feet as you paced in front of the infirmary door. You didn't care though, didn't care if Stede would be upset with you scuffing his floor, or if you finally wore through and fell down into the hold.

Izzy had gotten hurt because of you. This was all your fault, so of course you were worrying a hole into the floor. If he died...if he died, his blood would be on your hands. You would never forgive yourself.

You would never forget the sight of Izzy bleeding out, sword ripped from his gut. You would never forget how heavy he felt in your arms as you dragged his flagging form back to the Revenge.

Sure, Izzy wasn't the most friendly member of the crew, but you had grown fond of him and he had saved your life. Risked his life for your own, you couldn't even close your eyes without picturing it.

Your frantic thoughts were interrupted when Stede stepped out of the infirmary.

"Is he alright?" you asked instantly, coming to a stop right in front of your captain. Your presence startled him a little, but he hid it fairly well.

"He's stable. Relax, now. Please, take some time. Get washed up, get something to eat," Stede gave you a sympathetic look, gently placing his hand on your shoulder.

Your shirt was still stained with Izzy's blood, as were your hands. You had been the one to take him back to the Revenge, the one to tried to slow the bleeding. You had followed them to the infirmary, and hadn't left your position outside the door since.

"But...it's my fault," your voice cracked, eyes pleading with your captain.

"Even if that were true, you making yourself sick with worry won't fix anything," Stede squeezed your shoulder reassuringly. "Captain's orders," he prompted when you still didn't move.

"Yes, Captain," you nodded, glancing back at the infirmary door before leaving your self assigned post.

You took the time to wash up, scrubbing the crimson from your skin. You threw your soiled shirt into the pile for washing, hoping it could be salvaged, and pulled on a clean one. Once redressed and clean, you headed to the galley.

You found yourself sat in the corner of the galley, your knees pulled up to your chest as you picked at a chunk of bread. You knew you should eat something but you didn't really have an appetite.

"You're really killing the vibe in here," Roach spoke up from the kitchen where he was preparing supper.

"Sorry," you sighed, tossing the rest of the bread down onto a plate, "just worried."

"About Izzy?" Roach asked, glancing at you out the corner of his eye.

"Yeah..." you nodded.

Roach just nodded, accepting your answer even if he didn't understand your concern. He had patched him up just fine and he was stable, plus he was an asshole.

The cook got back to work, but kept glancing over to see you sulking in the corner. He wasn't heartless. "You want to take this tray to him? He's not awake yet, it's just some water and hardtack for when he is," Roach offered, figuring feeling useful might help you in someway.

"Yeah, sure," you nodded, quick out of your seat and hurrying over to the kitchen.

You flashed Roach a shaky smile as you picked up the tray, grateful to be able to help in some small way even if Roach was just giving you one of his chores to carry out. You appreciated it.

Diligently, you took the tray to the infirmary. When you entered, you were glad to see that Edward wasn't there. Blackbeard had become less scary since he became 'just Ed', but you were a little worried that he might blame you for getting his first mate injured, and you didn't want to know how he might react to that.

On the infirmary cot, Izzy lay on his back, pale with his eyes closed and bandages wrapped around his waist. Even though you knew he wouldn't wake up today, you quietly moved around the room and placed the tray on the table beside the bed.

Once the tray was placed down, you just stood and looked down at the sleeping first mate.

"Hey, Izzy," you whispered, just in case he could hear you. You could cry, seeing him like this. In fact, you could already feel the wetness at your eyes.

Stepping closer to the cot, you gently took his hands in yours. You hoped that he could feel that he wasn't alone.

"I'm sorry...I'm sorry about what happened, it shouldn't have happened. I should have...it should have been me, he was striking at me," you apologised, and you would do it again once he was awake, when you knew that he would definitely be able to hear you.

You would have stayed all day to keep him company, but you heard commotion outside the door.

"Just heal up quick, okay, Iz?" you pleaded, pressing a tender kiss to his forehead before placing his hand down and slipping out of the infirmary.

The next morning, Izzy was awake but had been declared bedbound by Roach. The first mate wasn't happy about it and he made that known but there wasn't really much he could do when every movement shot pain through his body, since he refused any pain medication.

Since he had been bedbound, you had been the one to offer to take him his meals. Pretty much waiting on him. Not that you minded at all, you owed him that at least.

A few days passed and Izzy was healing well, Roach checked on him once a day to see his progress. He was still bedridden, and his captains were making sure he stayed put, ordering him to rest.

"You got Izzy's breakfast ready?" you asked Roach, peering into the kitchen.

"All on the tray," Roach nodded, barely looking up from the breakfast he was making.

"It's not your fault, you know," Lucius' voice came from behind you.

"Christ, where did you come from?" you jumped, spinning around to face him.

"I'm light on my feet," he grinned before turning serious again, "anyway, it's not your fault. You don't have to serve him because you owe him or anything."

"It is my fault though, Lucius. I was supposed to receive that hit and Izzy...he tried to...protect me?" you reminded him, your words beginning to sound like a question. Honestly, you had no idea why Izzy took that hit for you, all you know is that he did.

"Yeah, he didn't get hurt because of you. He got hurt for you," Lucius rolled his eyes.

"Is there a difference?" you were sure there wasn't.

"He made a choice. He knew the risk, knew he would get ran through, he did it anyway so that it didn't happen to you," the scribe explained, as if that actually clarified anything for you.

"But...why would he do that?" you asked. Lucius was observant, he seemed to know things about the crew before anyone else, so you hoped he might actually have an answer for you.

"...you're kidding, right?" Lucius stared at you with wide, disbelieving, eyes. "You still don't see it? He took a blade for you and you still don't see it?" he questioned, shaking his head at you.

"See what?" you asked, growing frustrated, feeling like you were missing something that was right in front of you.

"You're hopeless!" Lucius exclaimed, like he was disappointed in you, throwing his hands up.

"Lucius," you groaned, just wanting a straight answer.

"Do you think Izzy would take a stabbing for any other member of the crew?" he asked.

"Well no, which is why I don't understand why he did it!"

"He did it because he's in love with you!"

In an instant, your entire body froze, staring at the scribe with wide eyes. "...no he's not..."

"No, he just nearly died to save your life because he doesn't care about you," Lucius rolled his eyes, sarcasm dripping from every word.

"He didn't...it wasn't...was it?" you shook your head, not being able to complete a thought.

"It very much was," Lucius nodded.

Roach let out a little hum of approval, making you both turn to him. You had forgotten he was there. "Oh, don't mind me. I'm totally not listening," the cook waved you both off, turning back to his porridge.

"Don't tell Izzy I told you but he obviously cares about you, he made that choice to step in front of a blade, don't blame yourself," Lucius reiterated.

You opened and closed your mouth a few times, unable to find anything to say. "...I should take him his breakfast," you murmured, grabbing the tray and leaving the galley before the scribe could say anything else.

You gave a polite knock to Izzy's door before letting yourself in. As he had been for the last week or so, Izzy was sat up on his cot, mostly because he refused to lie down all day. You had forced him to place a pillow behind his back to make him more comfortable, he had complained but it had worked.

"Morning, Izzy," you greeted him, pushing the door closed with your foot.

"You don't have to wait on me, you know," Izzy said, skipping over the pleasant greetings. As usual.

"Funny, Lucius just told me the same thing," you hummed before assuring him, "I want to though."

"I can take care of myself," he complained, the same complaint every day.

"I know but Roach says you should be in bed as much as you can and I wouldn't want to get on his bad side," you warned him playfully. "Anyway, Brekkie," you held the tray up, presenting it to him.

Izzy had to bite back a fond chuckle at the little smile on your face. You could be adorable sometimes.

"Thank you," Izzy nodded with a sigh.

You just smiled as you placed the tray down beside him. It wasn't like Izzy to thank somebody, so you would appreciate that while you could. "Do you need anything else?" you asked.

"No, I'm fine," he shook his head, picking at a loose thread on his blanket.

You nodded, giving him another smile, as you headed back to the door. You reached for the handle but paused, taking a breath before turning back to him. "Izzy...I'm, I'm sorry about all of this," you hadn't had the chance to apologise to him while he was awake yet, you figured now was a good enough time as any.

"Not your fault," he muttered, not meeting your gaze.

"Yeah, it is. It should have been so...thank you but please never do that again, don't get hurt for me," you gave him a sad smile before leaving.

Izzy sighed as the door closed, dragging a hand down his face. It hadn't been his intention to make you feel guilty. He hadn't really thought it through that far, it had been a split second decision. He couldn't let you die, he moved as fast as he could.

Izzy stared up at the ceiling, trying to stop himself from complaining or snarling at you. You had brought him food and drink, as you usually did, and you were currently changing his bandages. You had helped him into a sitting position on the edge of his cot and removed his dirty bandages.

Roach had said he had healed enough that he just had to keep an eye out for signs of infection but Roach didn't have to check on him personally everyday. He just had to have somebody change his bandages and clean the wound, and of course you had offered to do it.

To put it simply, you were fussing over him. You took too much care with the wound and the bandages, with making sure he ate and drank enough. He wouldn't have minded so much, a part of him liked receiving so much attention from you. But knowing that you were only doing it out of guilt and obligation, it made him feel a little sick.

"Doesn't look like it's infected in anyway, Roach will be happy about that," you comment, examining the healing wound on the left side of his abdomen. Ran through all the unimportant bits is that Edward said.

Izzy had avoided looking at you since you began removing his bandages, but he risked a look down when he felt your gentle touch against his stomach. Your fighter tips feather light as you followed the line of the scar that would eventually form. It didn't even hurt, just sent a shiver down his spine.

He had looked at you then and instantly regretted it, seeing the sad and guilty look in your eyes. And just like that, Izzy felt all his frustration come to the surface.

"Stop!" Izzy snapped, making you freeze and look up at him with wide eyes, "that's enough. Fucking stop all this bullshit."

"Izzy..." you let him push your hands away, dropping back to sit on your heels. Obviously, you had done something wrong, and you just wanted to make it right.

"I've been at sea for decades, I don't take a fucking blade unless I want too, I certainly don't jump in front of them for nothing. I made that decision, you had nothing to do with it so you can't stop with this fucking searching for forgiveness," he told you firmly, glaring down at you.

You stumbled over your words, trying to make sense of what had upset him. "But...it should have been me, you got hurt because of me," you reminded him. This was your fault.

"No. I got hurt because that's the decision I made. I decided that I would rather get ran through than let it happen to you, you couldn't have stopped me if you tried," Izzy insisted, attempting to lift the responsibility from your shoulders.

"Why?" you asked the question that had been playing on your mind since the raid. Since the day you had to wash his blood from your hands.

Izzy sighed. "When I saw you on that raid, I just pictured the sword piercing through you. The blood, the pain...and I felt sick, felt like my lifeline had been cut. Before I knew it, I was across the deck and taking the blow instead," he took hold of your arm, pulling you to stand up before insisting, "I don't regret it and I'd do it again."

"Izzy..." you whispered, unsure of what to say, as you sat down beside him on the cot. You wouldn't normally do so without an invite but your legs felt a little unsteady.

"For me...it was better that way. I didn't want to see you like that," he explained, only meeting your gaze for a second before staring down at his lap.

"I thought you were going to die, Iz," your voice cracked, eyes growing wet at the memory. "Please, never ever do that again. You want to take a blade for me, fine, but I would take one for you too. So, let me. If that ever happens again, please do not put yourself in that position," you pleaded.

Izzy looked at you again, his mouth almost quirking into a small smile. "I can't promise that," he confessed.

"Iz, please," you were not above begging, especially if was to protect somebody you cared about. Izzy was taken back by the tears welling in your eyes.

"I won't make a promise I know I can't keep," Izzy refused, respectable in its own way. "But I won't be leaving you alone during a raid again, so I can try to prevent something like this happening again," he was telling you, it wasn't an offer or request. It was a promise.

"I...fine. Fine, if that's the most you can promise," you nodded, even if you didn't like it. "There's something else..." he had shared far more than you ever thought he would, you thought it was only right to do the same in return.

"What is it?" he looked to you expectantly.

Perhaps Lucius could have been right about why Izzy stepped in front of that sword...

"When you were in the infirmary, Roach said you were stable, but I wouldn't let myself get my hopes all. All I could do was hope that you'd pull through and...and think that there was so much I should have said before, so much I regretted not saying. Iz, I-" you steeled yourself as you tried to improvise your little speech, knowing you had to speak now unless you lose the nerve.

Izzy didn't let you finish though, didn't let you say the most important thing. You were silenced, hands on either side of your face, and his mouth against yours. Once you realised what was happening, you placed your hands against his arms, still aware of his healing injury, and returned his kiss.

Izzy broke away from the kiss, still holding your head in his hands while you stared at him, a mix of bewilderment and awe. "Why do you think I took a fucking blade for you," he asked. His confession the same as you had been trying to make.

"You fucking idiot," your hands moved to the back of his neck, pulling him in for another kiss. It being an easier way to express everything you wanted to say. This time, you broke the kiss, assuring him, "next time a confession with words will be just fine."

"Never been good at that. Better with actions," Izzy admitted, making you smile a little. It was a pretty drastic fucking action.

"Yeah, well, you proved your point," you reassured him, though a few words of explanation would have been appreciated over the last few days, or before he got stabbed.

"Now stop waiting on me like you owe me something," Izzy huffed, releasing your face. As if he actually thought that this would make you less inclined to help him.

"Can't I just wait on you because I care?" you asked softly.

"...suppose that wouldn't be too bad," Izzy nodded after a short pause.

You smiled, leaning in to press a short kiss to his lips, before removing yourself from the cot. You still had to wrap his wound in clean bandages. This time, Izzy let you without any sort of protest, watching you work with a fond feeling in his chest.

Izzy thought getting ran through was worth it.

Headcanons below the cut (Warnings: OMORI spoilers and heavy themes & subject matter including grief, death, and depression).

🧡 -- Hero and Aubrey Childhood Friendship

(A/N: We completely agree with you that this dynamic does not get enough love)

Hero always walked Aubrey home from their friend group's gatherings. She would often (playfully) roll her eyes and insist that she didn't need him to walk with her--she lived so close by after all, but Hero would insist. Aubrey would eventually agree however since she knew it meant a lot to Hero to make sure that she made it home safely and she didn't want him to worry. Even if it wasn't something Hero was ever really able to find the words to express, everyone knew he had always worried about Aubrey as if she was his little sister, and the protective big brother in him didn't like the idea of her wandering around in the dark (even in the safety of Faraway Town). Walking her home was his way of being a big brother to her, and it really meant a lot to Aubrey to know that someone was looking out for her.

Even though it was only a short walk back to Aubrey's house from his and Kel’s house or from Sunny and Mari's house (where they hung out most frequently), they always found something to talk about and really came to enjoy the fun little talks they would have on their walks, mostly just sharing about their day or interests or checking in with each other as if they really were family. Looking back on it, Hero and Aubrey can't really remember exactly what they talked about on their walks, but Hero always thinks back to them as the times he really got to know Aubrey.

🖤 -- Hero Angst After the Death of Basil and Sunny in the Neutral Ending

Hero is so distraught after Basil and Sunny's deaths in the neutral ending that ends up taking a semester off of school. He says it is for himself and his own mental health which in part it is, but it is mostly to be able to stay in Faraway Town and look after Kel and, especially, Aubrey who is beside herself with guilt. He spends most of his bereavement leave pushing aside his own pain and trying to take care of Aubrey and Kel, and by the time, Hero does return to school (at Kel and Aubrey's insistence), he is nowhere closer to finding healing than before.

He can't help but blame himself for what happened, and he feels it is something he will never really get over, leaving him numb and broken--just barely able to go through the motions of his so-called "life." The only thing that helps him feel any better at all is taking care of a small window box of sunflowers, tulips, and lilies (Basil, Sunny, and Mari's favorite flowers). Unfortunately, the first frost comes early that year, and when Hero finds his beloved flowers withered and dead from the cold, he sinks to his knees and sobs on the floor of his dorm. He couldn't save his friends, and he couldn't save his flowers either. Never in his life had he felt so worthless.

🤍 -- Hero Headspace Fluff

Once, Headspace Hero wanted to surprise his friends with a congratulatory gift after one of their many adventures. He planned a grand tea party for them--spending hours preparing, decorating, and making all the tea, treats, and sandwiches himself. He even hired Rococo to paint a portrait of their tea party to commemorate the event forever. All of his friends were so surprised and said it was the greatest tea party ever.

❤️ -- (One of) Hero's Secrets [feat. Hero & Kel Sibling Angst]

Hero pretends he doesn't see the way his brother looks at him after Mari's death and especially after their fight, but he does. Hero sees that sadness in the back of Kel's eyes, sees the way he awkwardly twists his hands or trips over his words, the way his voice trails off whenever he has to talk to him about anything that even hints at the less-than-happy, as if he feels like he has to walk on eggshells around him. He would never say anything (and feels he doesn't have the right to), but he can't stand that look that's so often in Kel's eyes now—like he's watching a trainwreck, heartbroken and worried but too far away or perhaps too afraid of making things worse to do anything about it. It breaks his heart that there is such a distance between them now, that Kel looks at him like he is fragile, maybe even dangerous—looks at him like he is scared Hero will break if he doesn't say the perfect thing.

Hero loves his brother, and whenever he sees the way Kel looks at him now, he wants nothing more than to throw his arms around him and cry, hold him and tell him how sorry he is—how much he just wants his brother back, wants to talk and laugh and tell each other everything like old times without Kel being so afraid of breaking him. But he doesn't think he has the right to even wish for that anymore. He was the one who had lashed out at Kel, who pushed him away when he was only trying to help. It was the only time he and his brother had ever fought, and there are very few things in Hero’s life that he looks back on with as much regret. He wishes he could go back and do things differently, better—that he could somehow stop his younger self before he did something he would regret for the rest of his life, before he hurt one of the most important people in the world to him and permanently damaged their relationship, before he had to confront that pained expression in Kel’s eyes knowing that he was the reason it was there in the first place.

If Hero is being perfectly honest, however, the real secret is not so much that he sees how Kel looks at him but rather that he stays awake at night agonizing over whether Kel will ever stop looking at him that way...and, honestly, Hero wouldn’t blame him if he didn't.

I almost hate how much i switched teams from 2718 to abacus, but its just bc he's new and shiny and pretty and pushy. He stifles autonomy so i know 2817 is better in the long run bc u can reason w him and he puts mcs best interests first. Abacus gives me the kind of vibe that he'd let mc get hurt so long as shes his, and tbh i feel like he might enjoy it? Like he'd like to fix her up and *accidentally* press a lil too hard into her wounds wheras 2718 would just use his abilities so that she wont feel the pain to begin w. That's just my assumption tho given what we've seen. Abacus seem the type to only use his powers thingy to subdue reader.

We know that 2718 has met readers past forms/reincarnation w.e u call it and i originally thought abacus did too. Maybe he was her affair or lover in a previous reincarnation methinks? I just felt like he knows her before. This changed a bit towards the end when they were walkin thru the streets while he was giving her the endoscopy (😮‍💨💦) and we learned just how badly mc is seen. Now im starting to wonder if aba is just greedy n wanted her as his lil disabled spouse genuinely, no past relation. Idk. I still feel like they know each other previously. Or maybe he sensed something abt her back when 2817 brought her in to that place all the way back then. Mc is key to the universe type thing. Doubt that tho.

Neyways i think aba is gnna take her home where he reveals that he not only has four arms, but also two dicks n he's gnna try to fawk her but some event will inconveniently stop him. I also think he lives in an oasis like place, their version of natural wood everywhere, running waterfalls from the cieling, tons of glass that he can mentally control and shatter at will to threaten reader while having a saccharine smile on his face, the works really.

I wnna believe translator(TA) is gnna get 2718 and theyll find mc but now im thinking maybe they might not meet up like that. 2718 might find TA n ditch her to find mc and TA has to scramble to keep up, might even meet her on the way back after 2718 saves the day. Also wondering whts gnna happen to TA bc i dont think anything criminally bad happened to her even tho we heard her screaming. Be real interesting if she were screaming bc 2817 found her and juuuust missed mc and aba. I think when 2718 finds mc and aba they're gnna be familiar w eachother but not fight bc aba is one slippery bastard. Or maybe itll be convenient where aba leaves mc unattended for a bit and someone tries to harm her and then 2718 makes him big appearance, like when mc was first dropped into the world and 2718 saved her. I have more thoughts on that but ive already wrote an essay here and in my other ask 😭
