Voyeur Jack Rollins my beloved— It’s like a sleeper agent phrase ok 😆 I am firmly a believer that Brock only willingly ‘submits’ to Jack, first of all, which is important for this.

Look, I’ve explored this concept before ( shameless plugs at the end ). The whole “Brock Rumlow talks a big fucking game, but it’s really Jack holding the leash. And he keeps Brock on a goddamn short one” thing. The thing about Rollins is, right? He’s big, he’s quiet, he’s observant. Man likes to watch, Brock likes to perform— They’re perfect for each other. I like to think that kind of thing happened a lot— Rollins having Rumlow bring some poor unsuspecting bastard over. Roughing him up, or just fucking and sending him on his way. Cat and mouse, and Brock’s the bait. Pity all the partners that survived to see the next day always ended up in some kind of tragic accident.

Except when it comes to Steve. Now, in my mind, the Rogers thing wasn’t supposed to go as far as it did. Brock, originally, saw that man as a goddamn meal ticket, a way to the top— Insurance. HYDRA can’t disappear him if he’s got intel on their greatest threat. But— Somewhere along the way though, Brock gets in too goddamn deep. Feelings, maybe— Steve wasn’t just another toy to break like [ the Soldier, new Agents, etcetcetc ].

And Jack couldn’t have that, no, he couldn’t have his Brock running around with another guy like that. Steve was, by all accounts, untouchable. Not someone Jack could just get rid of when he was bored of it all.

So he watches. And he tolerates.

And Rumlow starts getting all soft on the man and something’s gotta change.

Maybe the pair introduces Steve to an ‘alternative type of relationship’, slowly bringing Rollins in. That would mean Jack’s got all the time in the world to play with his toys how he wants.

Or maybe Jack just snaps one day, slips Steve too much of the Soldier’s sedatives and—

Brock knew the rules— Fuck them, ruin them, but don’t get attached. Yet, here they are. And it shouldn’t be an issue, right? They’ve done this plenty of times- So what makes this one different?

Steve is special.

And Jack has to re-exert control, has to remind Rumlow that this isn’t going to last. It can’t.

Anyways— Christ. So many thoughts and directions people can take this. Now I’m having plot ideas,,, 👀

anyways, I kind of geek. you know how some schools have those surveys that you can do that pair you with another person that you would be really compatible with? anyways, the school that they go to does that for students in the same type of program (like undergraduate, graduate) and it's anonymous! you can choose to reveal if you like the person you're talking to if you're friends and ignore if you're not into it.

anyways, eren and y/n are in the same lab - and each other's biggest haters. he thinks she's annoying. she thinks he's pretentious. eren's a massive nepo baby (who actually doesn't want to do a phd but feels guilted into it) and y/n's academic validation is so horrendous thatit's almost debilitating. the other person seems to dig right into what they hate the most - self made first gen y/n seems so assured in what she's doing that it makes eren jealous. eren seems to do things so effortlessly that y/n finds herself competing just to keep herself motivated.

but yolo, they're both each other's biggest supporters bc they're matched based on how compatible they are! they just don't know the person they spend all their time talking to is each other....

It IS different from HEA!

HEA has all 4 turtles surviving the invasion and going to the past, but this one is just Leo (I don't have a name for it yet).

So, to set this up, I have this headcanon about the Kraang's prison dimension that time works very differently there. That time and space function very differently.

For example, if you were to enter the prison dimension, walk for a while in any direction, and then exit the prison dimension, you would end up at a very different point in time than you entered. And not just bc it took a while to walk there. Where you are in space affects where you are in time, basically.

So. Let's say. That our beloved Leader of The Resistance, Leo. Was not killed in the Kraang blast. And was instead taken. And put into the prison dimension as a sort of punishment for his actions against the Kraang.

And since he'd have no way out and nothing better to do, he starts to walk. And walk. And walk. And falls off a few ledges but gravity is lighter here so he's fine. And walk...

And... Oh boy what's that in the distance? Is that a Kraang? Good grief. What is it doing? Nevermind- if there's a Kraang in here, then there has to be a doorway. A way out. Oh he's gonna have fun kicking that thing's ass- Oh? Who's... Who's it fighting? Could that count as fighting..? Looks more like a onesided ass beat to him.
