Granblue Fantasy OC introduction

Went a bit crazy and sketched my girl again, but teehee now its profile time!

Warning, this does contain some spoilers and plots related to the Archangel Saga (aka WMTSB) as well as some potentially triggering content (death, disease, experimentation) although most of these are not heavily detailed. This also contains made up lore for certain elements regarding Astral society and backgrounds.

Title: [Fate's Lost Reproduction]

Description: A woman with an unknown condition that strips her mind of her memories and health. While traversing aimlessly, she was found by a man who shared a similar power. With this guidance, she hopes to learn more of the world and save herself from a gruesome demise.

Elsbeth was born originally in the Phantagrande Skydom to two rather normal parents in a small town. Elsbeth was heavily praised by the townsfolk for her resourcefulness and curiosity, being labeled as a 'prodigy' and 'child genius' unlike anything the townsfolk had seen.

Elsbeth didn't have a particular inclination to leaving the village, citing her love for her family and friends in her home. She was rather content with her life, even if it was not the most 'stimulating' one.

However, this would all change as she got older, slowly being inflicted with horrid nightmares of a dark place, visions of a man in white, and even the Omnipotent itself. While these terrified her, it was accompanied slowly with the deterioration of her mental and physical health.

No one knew of what was afflicting her, and despite everyone's best efforts, they knew Elsbeth would not be finding a cure within the confines of their small town. Elsbeth set out reluctantly to find anyone or anything that could help her.

Years of traveling around the skydom led her nowhere, but her 'disease' progressed to wiping out chunks of her memory and even overwriting them at some points. Her innate magic would also lead to her being bedridden and removed from the events she used them on.

It wasn't until she met the leader of the Eternals, Seofon, that she was able to secure a 'home'. Elsbeth's memory overwrote the event to be one where she was peacefully approached by him as she was sick, but Seofon kept the truth hidden- she was damn near feral and attacked him with the power of the boundary, but he quelled it and knocked her out. Deciding she was an interesting case and also not wanting her to be out in the world without some form of supervision, Seofon invited her as a sort 'guest' Eternal to be his assistant in exchange for him helping her find a cure. Seeing no other clue, Elsbeth agreed and traveled alongside Seofon and the other Eternals.

After meeting the Captain, Seofon asked on Elsbeth's place if she could stay on the ship on occasion to possibly meet others who could help. Elsbeth is rather fond of the Captain and acts like a teacher to them when possible.

During the events of 000, the truth is fully revealed about Elsbeth: she was actually the third copy of the original Omniscient's servant, 'Ashim-Beth-El'. Ashim was once a proud servant of Bahamut, alongside Helel-ben-Sahar and Helel-ben-Shalem. Frustrated by the lack of guidance from it, Ashim attempted to denounce the Omniscient and argued on their positions as servants to become free. Sahar disagreed then Ashim retaliated physically, causing Sahar to seal her in what would later become Pandemonium as punishment.

This didn't stop Ashim's terror, as her anger fueled her to slowly build her power in that hell to get revenge on Sahar and the Omniscient. Ashim later had a copy made of her for the Astral world, Elizabeth, who was a promising child and acquainted with Lucilius. The two formed a kinship based on their octracization from Astral society and their feeling of a 'gap' between their current forms and perceived bodies. The two would work closely to attempt to bridge the gap by creating what would eventually become Primal Beasts/ Primarchs.

Ashim's power extended to reach Elizabeth and slowly drained her of life, making her useless in the eyes of the Astral Council and eventually leading her to die despite Lucilius's best efforts to cure her and give her a new body. This would fuel Lucilius's hatred for the living and make him more determined to close the gap and get rid of the Omnipotent once and for all.

Since Elizabeth was drained and deceased, a third copy of Ashim was made, Elsbeth, to try again, but this time as a normal human woman. Despite Lucio's best efforts to help her, Elsbeth was still harmed by Ashim's life-draining powers and left her home, triggering fate to lead her to what should be a treacherous and painful path. What becomes of her future is still waiting to be written as she embarks with the crew and learns more about her the sky.

Cosmos: Thought one thing Satyr said remains a mystery to me. She mentioned that skydwellers "put their love" into the chocolate. I followed her instructions to whisper my feelings to the chocolate while making a heart shape with my hands. But I remain uncertain as to whether that affected the flavor.

not to give this much lore importance to the silly christmas story but what do you mean Santa has been around for long enough to have a gift for Shalem that predates her being even named Helel Ben Shalem, which means therefore, that it should be from the time of creation itself.

Santa what is your relationship with Bahamut exactly.

Also the idea that the Helels might not have been refered to by names for a while at a time they were only concepts kinda makes me dizzy like.... for characters who ended up setting up lineages of clones desperate to reinstall their individuality and identity, they really started out stripped out of that to start with by just being concepts...
